Why All the Ladybugs at the Ocean’s Edge? – A Symbolic Message
Everything has meaning, at least that is how I choose to live my life. I see and receive symbolic meaning in all things in and around me, as well as create a consciously symbolic life of meaning and intentful purpose.
Whether small or big, I gratefully receive the beauty the Universe gifts me, enjoying the messages and connection the awareness of it all brings into my life. Sometimes that message is one of awareness to make compassionate and conscious change.
Yesterday I broke away for a couple of hours at the beach with a friend, and several new friends there, did I find.
It was a beautiful day with glistening sun on the ocean, as we walked and I looked for treasures from the sea, finding many.
What I also found were many little ladybugs at the water’s edge. I found this odd and pondered why, while in the process picked up two of them and placed them on my skin so that they could dry their wings in the sun light and my warmth.
These two little ones stayed with me, crawling and resting on my arm and my “Live Love” hoodie adorned with “Peace” sign for the entire walk, until their tiny wings were dry enough to set flight again.
The question still remains as to why ladybugs were at the ocean in the first place and after researching a bit, I found this was not an uncommon phenomena, yet still a mystery.
Some sources say that the ladybugs give birth during this time, and that some are blown to the coast when the Santa Ana winds whip through. And some debate how and why the ladybugs come to gather on the shorelines with two categories of reasoning: ladybugs floating to shore and ladybugs gathering at the shore from land. This would mean large numbers of synchronized ladybugs taking flight perhaps as a result of rapid growth in population in contrast to depletion of resources. In which case they may be setting off to forage or may be coming to shores to drink or gather there with reluctance to cross the water, after journey from land to the water’s edge in search.
And then some have thought ladybugs are blown or knocked into the water and then drift ashore caused by major winds or storms. It’s been shown that some ladybugs can float for over 150 hours with the estimated average time floating for washups to be about 33 hours.
So, were these ladybugs I found a product of environmental conditions or loss of resources? Or is there another mystery and message they are bringing to us? In either case, as with everything, there is something to be received by their coming to be found at the ocean’s edge. While I’d like to believe they love the ocean as much as I, I would tend to think that just like with the enormous amount of bees I’ve found on the water’s edge over the last year, that there is altogether another message in this and one to take to heart.
Since ladybugs are such beautiful symbols and good omens of things to come, would their message not be ironic in this context?

I’ve been having a ton of vivid dreams, strong intuitive feelings and guidance coming through recently – perhaps you have too. Are there any potential fears or blocks creating a feeling of unclarity? Do you believe your dreams are not possible? Are you worried about what it means to come into more of your authenticity and express your gifts?
Questions are important to ask ourselves whenever we are feeling confronted by a limitation causing us frustration in some way. It doesn’t matter if it has to do with a decision to join a trip like this or if it concerns a transition with your work, relationships, or even voicing your honest feelings.
I know a few of the people from our last retreat went through their own personal processes with this and I can’t begin to tell you the amazing stories that took place that have continued to work their magic in each of their lives.
One thing I’ve learned is that continuing to live life on hold is always being just an arm’s length away from having what you desire. Sometimes there is a timing for things to flow with, and yet sometimes we can also use time as an excuse.
I’ve seen the magic of all things falling into place for myself and others when we become committed to embracing the journey with our whole hearts. When we take the temporary, uncomfortable steps to move through fear, we come to realize the illusion we’ve been living in, once we’re on the other side of the threshold. Walking through the door is always the hardest part, and yet it sometimes is as simple as that one step that then reveals a whole new supportive experience we’ve been dreaming of.
Anything is possible and we don’t need to know how, nor to see the end result. Trying to dictate and map out the scenario just creates limitations in how things “could” be. You can’t possibly know the end result if you haven’t taken the steps, so to assume the final outcome based on where you sit now, is already setting up your decided future. We only need to trust in the decision made to be open to the possibilities.
This pertains to anything we may have struggle, challenge and fear around in our lives…both the small and large decisions.
I actually only meant to share the guided manifestation of the discount extension and as I started sharing, the rest of this came through. Always works that way when I open to the collective energy. I feel I know why, as it really isn’t about the details and the discount, as much as it is the theme of realizing how many opportunities and how much support is constantly around us there for the receiving and yet so many times we turn the other way. The Universe is saying to each of us in every moment, here is a life of unlimited opportunity you’ve been given…what do YOU intend to choose and WHEN are you going to realize what is possible?
There is so much support and we each are so powerful beyond words. Yes, you CAN create the life you desire and you CAN move through the challenges of today. You are eternally loved.
Being someone who lives on the edge of the moment never knowing what tomorrow may bring, I understand how fears, doubts, or even periods of feeling out of abundant flow can seep in from time to time, yet I believe in our ability to instantly shift every experience through shifting our perspectives, becoming alchemical magicians of our lives, and letting the joy of our hearts guide us. I know the power of complete trust and following my heart – having yet to experience not being supported by the Universe when I take the mirroring steps.

Native American Indian Sacred “Soul Tapestry” Tattoo Design
Another week of sacred tattoo designs is in flow again. I love these individually unique journeys I am honored to get to take with each of the beautiful souls I co-create with.
Today is the first of three new designs I’ll be sharing. I was inspired by Native American Indian energy and art I’ve experienced, which spoke loudly from the get-go for this client, the minute I started to tune in. I later found out she was part Native American when I shared my feeling of direction I was going. It also felt to be a powerful bleed through from past life experiences and energy that was prominent.
Without much to go on except some themes, I worked away at receiving what wanted to through to assist in the essence of intents she had.
This piece is intuited for her upper back/higher heart area and as always I created the design in shades of blacks and grays, which can then be decided upon with the tattoo artist if it will remain as such or be added to with color. My client was feeling drawn to delicate colors and this I feel would look lovely if chosen as such, or as it is. Staying light and ethereal for this would will add to its energy I feel. The original design is 7” wide by 11” high. When working with detail it’s not recommended to go small in order to retain the delicate touches. Bigger is always better and will be more pleasing over time.
As mentioned, I kept getting native American Indian energy from the get-go. So I was pleased to hear the connection and her resonation with this. And a lot of powerful symbolism wanted through which I enmeshed in this Native American Indian woman’s (representing my client) shawl. She stands empowered, grounded, integrated, centered and looking up and beyond to the left, welcoming courageously, peacefully and with great heart joy, the new found wisdom and direction her journey is now taking her.
She is illuminated by the Great Central Sun’s radiating beams that also seem to emanate from her. That spiral at her Crown Chakra, which is the oldest symbol known to be used in spiritual practices, reflects the universal pattern of growth and evolution. The spiral represents the goddess, the womb, fertility and life force energy. Reflected in the natural world, the Spiral is found in human physiology, plants, minerals, animals, energy patterns, weather, growth and death. The Spiral is a sacred symbol that reminds us of our evolving journey in life. When used as a personal talisman, the Spiral helps consciousness to accept the turnings and changes of life as it evolves. The acceptance of change is one of the greatest freedoms a human can experience, putting consciousness in the present moment where the power of creation is condensed. On a larger scale, using this symbol assures all beings are reminded of their inward and outward evolution, a balanced and centered state of mind.
The spiral repeats throughout the design and I also incorporated a moth with spiral antennaes that shape a heart at her Heart Chakra, lotus designs, buffalo medicine (white one in this case) and horse medicine (black one in this case), as well as butterfly and leaves of the Earth that all flow up and down her Chakras and anchor her, as well as give flight to her journey with each of their symbolism they carry.
I felt something very grounding, integrative, forward moving, expansive, and opening to another level of drawing in a new frequency of energy, was wanting through (keeping with that natural harmony within and without) and so this interwoven tapestry of wisdom and empowerment came through as her Higher Self wisdom revealed.
Here is some more on the specific symbolism included.
Lotus symbolism: This powerful and ancient image symbolizes harmony, spiritual illumination and unlimited potential. The lotus is a type of water lily which rises from the sludge of muddy waters and opens into a beautiful flower. It is often used as a mandala, or circular symbol, but any way you use the Lotus in a spiritual practice, it will provide a resonant field that reinforces the concept of resurrection. Human mistakes and challenges are the fertilizer for brilliance and awakened creation as the Lotus shows us. Born in the murkiest of ponds, Lotus still emerges pure. Use the Lotus as a reminder that “this, too, shall pass.” Be assured that all fertilizer nurtures a beautiful new life. In the greater world, Lotus is a peaceful cosmic beacon for forgiveness, gratitude and compassion to prevail where the sludge of conflict has resided. Using this symbol on water invites a balance between humility and pride.
I love the symbolism that Avia Venefica always has to impart. Here is some information on the rest of the symbolism included.
Moth symbolism: vulnerability, determination, subtlety, intuition, faith, dreams, shadows, otherworldliness, secret knowledge, psychic awareness…The moth is a nocturnal creature and even in navigation, when we observe the moth to fly into artificial light or flames, the moth demonstrates its faith and determination. It is still unproven as to why the moth is driven to light – but the best hypothesis is that the moth navigates by lunar light. In the absence of moonlight, the moth moves to the next best thing: man-made light. Even at the risk of losing its life, the moth is ever-vigilant in following its path of light. This may also serve as a moral to us to keep our own vigilance, but not fall victim of blind faith. Those with the moth totem will find this creature a magnificent assistant in developing higher awareness, and psychic enhancement. We gather these symbolic attributes because night creatures conduct their life-sustaining activities in complete darkness. As humans, we may translate this as symbolic of living our lives by intuitive feeling rather than physical sensory perception. Philosophically speaking, night creatures do not tumble in the dark, and neither do humans. We use our dreams, our awareness, and our deeper, inner knowing to navigate through the darkest hours of our lives. Faith is another tool we use to move through shadowy times of uncertainty, and the moth also shares this aspect. The moth never questions provision. She has complete faith that all of her needs will be meet each night.
Buffalo symbolism: provision, gratitude, abundance, consistency, strength, stability, blessing, prosperity…the Buffalo is a sacred animal the Native American Indians and is a true reminder of the greater whole. The Buffalo is like a hologram – one example of abundance – it’s behemoth features are a physical manifestation of the store-holds available in the energetic realms. The White Buffalo is considered incredibly holy. When the White Buffalo comes into our awareness (dreams, vision or even while hiking) it is a huge sign of promise, and great prosperity is soon to come after sighting this regal creature. Buffalo reminds us that we are always provisioned and our attitude towards abundance influences the rest of this planet.
Horse symbolism: power, grace, beauty, nobility, strength, freedom…The Horse symbol meanings of power are widespread through most cultures, and it is linked as an emblem of life-force. Many cultures assign the attributes of the four elements to the Horse: Earth, Fire, Air and Water. As a Native American symbol, the Horse symbol meanings combine the grounded power of the earth with the whispers of wisdom found in the spirit winds. The Horse has long been honored has helper, messenger, and harbinger of spirit knowledge to the Native American. Considered wild and an emblem of freedom, the Native American sees many potentialities in the symbolic nature of this noble creature. Another aspect of Native American symbol meanings of the horse comes with the understanding that the wild freedom of the Horse can be harnessed and used to the benefit of the tribe. This understanding comes only when man and beast enter a silent contract, acknowledging mutual respect and awareness of responsibility to each other. Black Horse: mystery, death, night, secret, messenger of esoteric knowledge.
Butterfly symbolism: Butterflies are messengers of powerfully transformative healing and regenerative energy and symbolism to the indigenous peoples across time. They symbolize the precious miracle of life, hope, love, transmutation, magick, joy, reincarnation – to the Maya, butterflies are seen as ancestors returning for a visit to physicality and have a very earth and cosmic bridging connection (ex: the galactic butterfly symbol – Hunab Ku powerfully broadcasts your reaching to actively join the consciousness of our galaxy), resurrection, transition, communication, celebration, lightness, time, soul, unquestioning embrace, freedom, keeping the faith, grace…phew!…it felt to be speaking to another aspect of my client in this greater expansion sense with her shifting work, community sharing, spreading of her wings in deeper ways of service and heart-deepening, more and more.
There’s always so much more to the designs than I can possibly write about, but I like each person to feel what it speaks to them and to know that energetically so much is imbued and will be felt and activated regardless of whether or not we are literally aware of the specifics.

As many of you know, one of the main focuses of my work is supporting a return to natural harmony within and without – for individuals and the Earth collective at large. This is a soul commitment I practice daily and on recognized days of awareness, such as the upcoming Earth Day, I like to join together, whether energetically or literally, with others so that perhaps many more might choose to integrate the same conscious awareness into their own daily practice.
The power of one is great, but many coming together with the same focused intent is limitless in its potential effects.
This Sunday April 21st I will be leading a “Healing Meditation for You and the Planet,” combined with Reiki to empower the process.

You Don’t Need to See Clearly Ahead In Order To Move Forward

Another recent theme that has been circling in the ethers and percolating to share briefly about is that of confusion, frustration, and/or the desire to want to know what’s ahead, what you’re here to do, and to have a clear idea of, in order to move forward.
The first common error in this, of which I, too, have fallen captive to in the past, is the “idea” that you can’t do anything unless you can see the end of the road.
Why does this create a challenge? Well, first of all consciousness and life is an eternal evolutionary experience. If you think you need to see and know the end result before you can do ANY-thing, the truth of the matter is you will be sitting in frustration all of your life.
However, frustration perhaps is just the path you need to fuel an unfolding journey of growth, discovery, and learning that will inevitably keep you on the evolutionary road nonetheless. 🙂
This is likely a topic I could expound upon immensely, but for sake of this post I’ll keep it relatively simple.
As mentioned, this theme has been circulating from the collective around me and being that I have been “right there” in the same frustrated place, and because today a heartfelt prompting from someone very close to me had me voicing this experience to share in support, I felt once again it was a prompting that timing was “now” to just share a few words on this.
It was synchronicity like clock-work again that this theme came up today. I love the demonstration of our unity-connection and how one person’s journey is always collectively tied to a bigger picture process and experience.
Here is some of what I shared today, paraphrased for this post:
At one time or another I feel that we all go through the fluctuating increase and decrease in our confidence, see-sawing between feeling very “connected to” then feeling so lost, experiencing the flow and then the discombobulation, or moving between bliss and despair, as we move along our paths. All of this is not weird or means you have some strange mental challenge that no one else has and can’t ever be cured. It is simply part of your process of integration, which will be like that pendulum swinging back and forth to each side of duality, while also at times coming to know the experience of harmony at center.
Life to me seems to be a reminder of how we are all things and can, when we choose, learn to recapture a more sustained experience of that centered balance, while also learning how to move in and out of experiences with greater ease because we come to learn our personal processes and can then do so consciously.
We ALL have innate gifts. Even if we are doing things in a similar vein to others, we are still bringing to the table something unique that can only channel through us. So in that way, it is an individual talent that cannot be duplicated and is equally as valuable. Remembering the times when you have felt most empowered, joyous, in the flow, vibrant, and enlivened, and having gratitude for these confirmations help you to stay in that energy and create more of it. Remember the mirroring of what others have shared about you and what they received from the gift of you. These things are so only because they came through YOU. No other person can mimic what you have to offer. And if they try, see it as a compliment and not a competition.
This calls to mind the post I shared, Celebrate Yourself, Celebrate Each Other – Lifting Humanity to the Next Level of Experience and how important the message and theme of that channeling feels still to be, especially with things I’ve been hearing and feeling swirling around.
I think sometimes we fear moving forward because we can’t see what we think the end result is and yet there never will be an end result, as things are revealed as we move along the journey and come about by us simply deciding to move forward with SOME-thing. Then that “thing” starts to evolve as we go along. It also starts to deepen or prepare us for other things, as some of the tools, skills and confidence we gain in the process are needed to get to the next step. We can’t just jump there prematurely, as either we won’t be prepared, the timing isn’t fully aligned on a Universal, big-picture level, or we may scare/scar ourselves far worse out of making moves at all.
That is why my own journey has evolved so much and continually changes, and I know it will continue to and completely shift altogether in some regards. That may look to some as though I am fickle, unable to commit, blow with the wind…but to me I am simply allowing my heart and Spirit to guide me where the greatest use of my talents and the greatest joy of my heart is needed and leads me. And in doing so, I am continuously supporting evolutionary growth and expanding upon perceived limitations that may otherwise be if I simply attached, anchored and set up camp for life.
While what I do may change in its outward appearance or in terms of the clothing it wears, the things I do in totality are along a similar vein of theme always. It just appears different in how it channels through at any given moment. Just as it has since the beginning.
I’ve been heard as saying over the last 6+ months, that I no longer try to see predictive visions and I have short term memory. 😉 What I mean by that is that I may get a strong feeling on where something is headed, but how and when is unclear and I have no attachment to it either, as what I have found is that in just being present with “what is” right here and now…it really doesn’t matter. The journey may take me there sooner, later, or never. But I’ll sure have fun and explore and grow a lot in between.
I’ve also learned that my strong intuitive hits are usually so far ahead, it has become obsolete to even share them because so much shifts in the process, that it is more important to focus on the journey. And when and if I end up, or someone else I had a very strong intuitive hit on ends up, where I felt we would a few years ago, really doesn’t matter. I think the point here is not to get hung up on fixating on any one thing. It is good to know the essence of what it is you are bringing forth and intending, but to allow for all of the beautiful explorations and experiences to guide you along the way.
Intuition is key and important to keep an eye on, learning to listen to your first instincts with supportive action, but as long as you do so in the very powerful present, the “later” is inconsequential since all things unfold at once and are affected by the now. Continuously, moment to moment, trusting your inner voice will take you exactly where you need to go rather than getting caught up on something intuitive coming in 5 years from now and stressing over how the heck to do the things in the interim leading up to it.
One intuitive step at a time…..
And as far as my very short term memory goes, I feel this is a powerful confirmation that I have been embracing and integrating that power of being present right here and now.
I don’t have full clarity on how things will come together. I only “know,” in my heart of hearts, the essence of why I am here and the particular theme I am assisting by my committed soul choice and responsibility. How that comes through is a journey that I don’t fully need to know (nor could perhaps be capable of processing fully right now anyway) and can enjoy its blossoming as I cultivate each seed.
Besides, some of us are very multi-faceted and living integration lives. So it may seem even more challenging to pinpoint something to choose as the ultimate goal, but the beauty is you can just choose where you’re most drawn to right now and what brings you the greatest joy, moment to moment – sometimes doing many things at once, other times one or two. By taking a step in “some” direction, you open the possibilities for opportunities and more things to unfold. Doors will open. Doors will close. But standing still only creates stagnation, which opposes the very fiber of our existence and the totality of Universal Life Force Energy that is constantly cycling.
I came to see in my process that no one is going to tell us this ultimate answer either. Everything changes moment to moment and while an overall theme and likelihood of where you’re headed based on your trajectory so far may be possible, it all comes down in the end to the big mystery being right before you the whole time, just hidden behind a veil of uncertainty, unsupported need for nurturing, fear, and forgotten dreams.
I, too, have gotten caught up and frustrated in trying to know and see what it all was and felt the confusion and despair, rather than letting my heart just guide me. But please don’t feel discouraged. There may always be an ebb and flow to the waves of feelings and experiences you come across, but this is natural and set up exactly as your soul knew would be for your highest good to really assist your chosen journey.
And sometimes the more you know and the more you’ve traveled down a spiritual and conscious path, the potentially more ingenious you are at really devising self-sabotaging ways to hold yourself back or even painfully lie to yourself, masked as road blocks, or even masked behind your own spiritual fluff. 😉 I have seen this constantly where we have learned so many big spiritual concepts and words that we can easily talk ourselves in a circle to avoid the very heart and core of the matter, which lies behind all of that and in the very deepest of vulnerable places inside of you. “There” is the real truth. The truth even you hide from yourself for fear of the power that responsibility comes with in opening the lock on that door you’ve kept closed for a reason that no longer has the need to hold power over you… if in fact you can be honest with yourself and live from your heart always.
I know self-sabotage very well and can spot it quite well now in others and learned my personal processes so that I can keep ahead of myself. Sometimes this turns into hitting a wall and not feeling able to move in any direction, but I’m wise on me now (LOL) and wish the same for you. It is possible to understand these deep and sometimes darker shadow parts. It just takes courage, patience, gentleness, and a willingness to really “want” to know the truth of yourself and your own inner demons. For some, it is easier to live on the surface. For me, I choose to get down and dirty whenever the occasion may arise.
There are even times when you will get to a really good place and hit moments of doubt or question. I know I have had those times where I wonder if anything I’m doing makes a difference. I think that is another common experience. But I then quickly realize that that is when I am stepping out of my heart’s essence and flow and being in my mind and in duality separation. Then I get back on track when I realize confirmations are not needed in the way we are taught to think they should come. The confirmation is in how I feel when I’m doing something I believe in and love wholeheartedly and in holding the space of what I know as my truth beyond all else.
The path needn’t be clear…only your heart does.

If you didn’t read some of my earlier posts in the last couple of months, with all of the transitions and my always following where I’m guided, I have been led to no longer offer any crystal jewelry. Instead, the evolution of things had me listening to my crystal friends’ messages to begin an exciting new co-creation with them, where-in I help to channel their essence on to canvas and they get to take center stage as healing arts sages in a way that can assist lighting up your life.
Joyful Earth Crystals still remains, as this has been the name channeled for the beautiful crystals that grace their presence in my life for the last 6 years, but it only encompasses crystals that I procure for these new sacred paintings, Crystal Illuminations, as well as occasional crystals that will be available for sale. Both embodying specially chosen crystals with a certain frequency of energy that is attuned to supporting a return to natural harmony within and without – for you and the Earth collective.
The Joyful Earth Crystals Etsy shop is no longer. Nor, is the Joyful Earth Crystals Facebook page. These have transitioned into my former J.E.C. partner Allison’s new company Aloha Shakti so that she may bring to the world her own creations and services that she is developing. The name Joyful Earth Crystals came from my two beloved animal companions Joy and Gaia (Earth Mother Goddess) merging together as the symbolism for supporting the Earth into a return experience of natural harmony, which the crystal beings are here to assist.

Riding the Frequency of Liquid Light – Heart of Atlantis Ancient Andara

I’ve been swimming in an ocean of flowing energy lately that feels soothing to my native Piscean roots and yesterday at the beach was gently nurturing, as the ocean always is. Getting back to nature this weekend after having been focused on channeling energy into recent events and projects has been invigorating and supportive in maintaining balance and an ever-replenished source of energy. Regardless of sun and warmth, or clouds and coolness, a day in nature is always rewarding.
The hill top hiking (at Nix Nature Center in Laguna Canyon) and beach strolling (at my favorite Crystal Cove) had me remembering my work in Atlantis and other ancient times, and connecting that with how crystal energy has evolved in my work as of late to focus on sacred crystal essence paintings from crystal jewelry.

Particularly prominent has been the voice of one of my crystals speaking loudly recently – a rare Heart of Atlantis Andara I’d like to share with you. Seems fitting with the way crystals have channeled through my healing art, with the profound shifts into new realms of my greatest joy service and how that is flowing through me core-passionately, the upcoming journey in Bimini, and integrating all aspects of my soul into the now, that this particular crystal friend was coming through to my assistance.
If you remember my posting about Andara Crystals before, they are unique crystals primarily composed of Prima Matra (first matter) that are used for healing and raising of consciousness, are self-clearing, and cannot carry negative energy within them or around them. Andaras are powerful Andarian Alchemy Masters from another world that have the ability to clear and energize all other people, animals, plants, and crystals in its environment. They are thought by some to be the highest vibrational crystals because they contain Prima Matra (which 
combines 70 minerals).
In general, they support us to move multi-dimensionally through space and time, to increase our awareness and raise our vibrations to access universal knowledge and connect with beings from higher realms, to detoxify negativity and balance and cleanse the chakras, assist our ability for energy channeling, powerfully heal, and accelerate spiritual development, awareness and manifesting abilities. In addition, each unique Andara embodies specific properties that focus their energy and our work with them. They are translucent, luminescent glass-like crystals of beautiful transparent colors and share an energy simply not experienced from any other material. Their energy is an anchoring of bleed through connected to Mu/Lemuria and “other” multidimensional realms.
This particular “Rare Heart of Atlantis Elder Ancient Andara” you see pictured, had called to me immediately when I first came upon it. I discovered its powerful watery and spiraling emanation immediately, but it wasn’t until recently that its rainbows revealed themselves to me.
I loved what was shared about his energy that I found to be extremely accurate in working with him: The blueish-grey deep ocean color of this ancient and whimsical Andara takes you back to the time of Atlantis. The Heart of Atlantis Andara connects you to the angelic beings of the sea, the dolphins, whales, and other 
oceanic beings of light and great love. This powerful Andara guides and protects the light within all beings. The Heart of Atlantis Andara’s are playful like the dolphins and love to change colors from blueish grey to a beautiful greenish grey color. A truly breathtaking and uplifting choice for anyone with a call for the water, ocean, and creatures of the sea. Elders activate, strengthen, and amplify and charge all other Andaras.
Needless to say, I am grateful to find myself being able to embrace all of the new energy waves of change in my life with peace and finding it beautiful to be able to ride them in much the way our cetacean friends do, gliding rather than treading the experiential waters. Seems a result of continuing to learn how to integrate more deeply yet gently, choosing differently, and honoring the truth that is in my heart. I can literally feel the liquid cool light essence moving in and around me at times, becoming unified with it, and I feel more myself than ever before.
In moments of reflection is when I can see how monumental frequency shifts have taken place that would be unrecognizable to “the old experiences” of each of us, as there is only the now moment.
Life may bring new challenges and interesting twists and turns, yet they don’t need to knock us off-kilter so harshly. And if they do, a little gentle embrace, some mindfulness, a lot less talk and a bit more walk, a little more presence, and a lot of compassion for self and others with true, core integrity and honor are helpful.
I love my Atlantean Andara and all of my crystal friends that join in my daily work towards enlivened and fearless living.

A Community of Artists Supporting the Evolution of Creativity – My RAW Art Showcase Experience

Another spectacular journey came to closure yesterday, and yet it is just the beginning to so much more. Last evening was my shared event with a community of independent artists at the MARVEL show hosted by RAW natural born artists in Los Angeles. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the creative arts, both new friends and old. It was a fun and long marathon day, continuing in the vein of high-vibed experiences and shifts as of late.
Thank goodness that I have learned how to stay mindful and present about the need for balance, especially in my case because I work with so much energy and have the tendency to/and to be able to operate on crazy amounts of it at inhuman speed (although I never claimed to be fully human) 😉 for long durations before my body finally says enough is enough. By following my heart intuition to spend huge amounts of time in nature over the last several months, staying within my own experience and retreating when I’m not engaged in work, eating only foods that my body tells me it needs, and keeping away from activities and things that don’t feel supportive to my maintaining of balance, has been a huge life- saver.

All of this has helped me to stay grounded, to integrate my energy, and to recharge me from experiences like the ones I’ve been involved in that I give and channel huge amounts of energy into. This is also what has helped me maintain long periods of energy sustainment and getting more from my experiences both personally and in terms of what I’m able to offer others.
Energy is free and abundant, but living in bodies we must learn how to regulate energy and to understand how to integrate things and create that natural harmony so that we can continually keep channeling and moving energy through without the crashes, burns, blocks, and amping highs and lows. A natural sustainment of even flow can be and is possible, which is an alchemical way of living. We’re all in process of learning this as we shift into higher vibrational bodies.
When you really listen and take care of yourself, you have so much more to give. As we’ve heard, and it’s true, you can’t possible love others if you don’t love yourself, and likewise, you can’t possibly give to others if you have nothing left to give. Taking care of you is in the highest good for all concerned.
Yes, I’ve learned my lesson on how to integrate, and to always swing the pendulum back and forth, as well as learned how to maintain an equilibrium that sustains productive health and well being. That has been a life-long journey to learn and is a constant to keep in check (especially being the extremist I’ve been) until it becomes natural, but I can honestly say that I’ve graduated because the kinds of things I’ve been involved in doing lately, along with yesterday and last weekend’s marathons of high energy, normally would have seen me crash or blow out my energy, or have a few days of body break down, but this has not been the case. I have remained strong, vibrant, and renewed, even avoided all of the major flu epidemic everyone was getting not long ago, simply by maintaining my healthy balance.

I’m very grateful for the lessons of life and the opportunity to put the things I learn into practice. What a great evening it was yesterday. I’m thankful to RAW for supporting the visionary arts and the souls whose only known nature it is to be artistically expressive. I feel that individuals in the creative arts are visionary leaders of the world and that the wide spectrum of art is a universal language that connects everyone through the collective heart. I honor the way RAW understands the importance of cultivating, bringing awareness of, celebrating, and enriching through art. In a time of community taking front stage, RAW understands this and is a bridging entity in supporting this shift.
I’m grateful to all of the independent artists who showed up and vulnerably and courageously shared their personal expressions of creativity with us all yesterday. I’m grateful to have met some amazing people, created some new friendships, for making some supportive connections, and simply for the opportunity to share my own self-expression amidst a supportive environment that believes in the cultivation of the arts.
My twelve hour day started with a very quick, only 40 minute, no-traffic drive into LA (accompanied by a powerfully integrative meditation, which I reposted from Laura yesterday: Powerful Integration and Healing providing her with some giggles), continued with a fast unloading of 5 loads up and down 4 sets of stairs and parking in 30 minutes, setting up without an assistant in time for my video interview and photography session, meeting everyone and then enjoying the rest of the evening sharing my work and seeing my beautiful friends who came out to support me.

What a day and, for me, was a very powerfully integrative experience of embodiment into all that I am coming together – very mirroring of the video meditation I shared from Laura. Even the new body of work that I was sharing from my series, “Crystal Illuminations,” was a reflection of integration on many levels. I have so enjoyed watching the evolution of the work that channels through me and I know it will continue to shift, as creativity is limitless. I love letting the creative energy channel through me as it wants to and to see the constant evolution of that manifestation into my work by embracing its flow. Creative energy is one of our greatest and most powerful gifts I believe and is so supportive for our well being to allow to flow in relative ways to each.

Nearly half of the new Crystal Illuminations have found new homes already since last evening’s show (the pieces that have moved on are marked SOLD at the link) and I can’t share enough how happy I am to know they all went to the perfect resonating souls. I am extremely grateful that I can offer these new pieces so affordably, as I really want to make the healing arts available to everyone to support and spread integrative healing. That was part of what I was guided to channel through – not just the honoring of these amazing crystalline beings and the integration of Earth and Cosmos, but to create something that flowed with my creative joy, passions, and would be accessible to everyone. Mission accomplished. Thank you Universe for your eternal wisdom and guidance coming through. When we allow Spirit to move through us and listen to the authentic voice of our Higher Self, its always connected to the highest good.

And the highest good is what I feel the intentions behind RAW’s events and their support of artists are focused on. The evening was filled with performances and an amazing fashion show at the end. The evening had a continuous flow of people coming through to see all of the artists’ offerings, but like things in Los Angeles roll, the evening didn’t really get bumping until later. The Belasco Theater, where it was held, is a night club and where the event ended at 10pm, the night life continued on, so people started lining up around the building while the show came to close. By the last hour of the night the entire first floor was wall to wall and tons of people in the tiers and flocking through.

The fashion show was amazing, with cameras, action and excited viewers (wish I had clearer photos of the amazing clothing, hair and makeup) – it actually made me reminisce about, and miss, my days as a model and doing fashion shows. There was always something I loved about the fashion show experience in particular, despite my being very shy and not liking to speak in front of groups back then (something that has shifted tremendously), let alone a crowded room of 100’s of on-lookers. It was when I would light up the minute I hit the stage, becoming an integrated me, but it really goes to speak for that artist in me that LOVES the creative flair of expression that universally speaks where words fall short. It was also a precursor to my “living in the moment” as I would always avoid rehearsals at all costs and just show up for the show, as to me it was all about the moment. And the moment is all I know now (I even now have short term memory in reflection of this) and want to embrace. I may have inklings of where things are going, but I’m not attached to any of it and go where things flow.
The form of my artistic expression and even the vehicle through which I express it may change over time, but the source of energy remains the same – the power of creativity full throttle!
Needless to say the evening was a really fun experience and another door closing and opening simultaneously in my life. I loved that so many unique expressions of creativity could come together in the synergy of community and harmony under one roof. Artists really understand one another, likely because we can draw on a shared pool of experiences and sensitivities we’ve been on a journey to embrace ourselves.

Painting is my sacred key of life. Like the wing of a butterfly is essential to its flight, creating visionary art is the breath of life to my soul. My inspirational muses are the natural world, Earth’s beautiful creatures, the mystical and ancient worlds, the Cosmos, celebrations of life, and collective and conscious awareness.
