Today is a birthday celebration post. I’m guided to share some special crystal offerings (see link at end) and inspired to express a couple of very powerful things that happened this week, as they were a combo of extraordinary and blessings in disguise – the perspective of things available collectively. Hence, another brief detour from how I share here these days before a longer silence upcoming.

This year ignites an offering for much potential, and I do feel that things are now in motion that we’ve dreamed of and will continue sprouting in momentum even if they seem just to be peeking out or bubbling below the surface. This is not the time to give up, but to keep strengthening and nurturing your true roots.

Since I will be heading out in March back to my soul home of Egypt it’s likely that I may not post again until after I return in April. That means I will be away for Spring Equinox – a cool balance to my last trip being over Autumn Equinox there.

So, in a way, this post is also a prelude to the new season unfolding within and without for us all.

We did get the big snow storms I mentioned in the last post, which brought some beautiful ski days and our first snow shoe of the season out back in the forest.

Winter stillness is perfect for the practice of listening within.

And whom better to teach the power of self reflection, quiet observation and solitude than bobcat. 

I was literally writing an Instagram post about the practice of tuning within to honor our intuition when bobcat came right at the window to peer into my eyes with a deliberate gait.

The rarely sighted bobcat is a guardian of hidden knowledge and keeper of truth. They teach patience, resiliency and courage to face subconscious shadow aspects. As a symbol of acute intuition and heightened awareness, they are spiritual guides helping to navigate life’s labyrinth and access profound wisdom and mystery found within oneself.

They teach us that mastery lies within and this includes our ability to master polarities without conflict.

A friend sent me a cosmic channeling she had just seen after I shared about bobcat on Instagram because it also spoke beautifully to bobcat’s message, “I stand at the heart of creation. Light and shadow bow before my peace. Within me opposites embrace. I am the stillness that moves all things.”

Bobcat is a potent shamanic presence to receive right before my own “rebirthing” that I’ve learned can show up to reveal a new spiritual power.

This beauty had no fear, but was all about deliberate intention to connect.

The auspicious and wild thing about this is that not only do I fully believe this is the same bobcat I saw two years ago as a juvenile now grown up, but the timing is impeccable and potent. 

The first time I saw bobcat here on our deck was on the morning of my actual birthday two years ago (my first birthday without Astrid).

And now just five days before my birthday, two years later this beauty appears again. I know this is not random and definitely reflective of my own evolution and path.

But, as always, it carries a powerful collective message for us all (reread bobcat’s symbolism and the channeled message) – hence my sharing.

Birthday Bobcat 2024

The second potent encounter took place the very next morning after bobcat’s appearance.

It involved the resident hawk that lives here on our back forest, two ravens, and a rabbit.

This may be a hard story for people to emotionally take in, so this is a pre-warning for the sensitive.

Although I’m not sharing all of the details of my own experience with it, I think that the take-aways can be individually unwrapped.

It was morning again, around the same time, when something dark caught my eye moving oddly across the snow. I went to the window and saw my hawk friend on the snow with tail fanned out and body and wings curved in a strange hovering stance.

I then noted two large ravens that were noisily hanging close to the hawk.

My first impulse was that the hawk was injured and I would have to do a rescue.

But then the hawk hopped forward and I saw that he was dragging something. I then realized hawk had made a kill and the ravens were trying their best to take it away.

Hawk proceeded to hop and drag the body into the manzanita bushes just off our deck.

I immediately became concerned it was one of my rabbit friends and went outside. I instantly saw some fur on the deck and followed around to the side of the house where I found much more of that, blood, and entrails. I recognized the fur immediately as rabbit’s and gathered the beautiful tufts of golden tipped, velvety softness to save.

The ravens continued hovering and going at the bush, which called hawk out to the tree tops. A fight commenced with ravens trying to chase off hawk, but hawk viciously attacking back.

While this took place, I got on my boots and went over to the manzanita grave. I had to know.

And my feelings were confirmed. It was a rabbit.

My heart sunk. I had a feeling it was one of my friends I knew well. I didn’t want to disturb anything, as I knew hawk put the rabbit there for safe keeping to feed upon and it’s not my place to disrupt that.

So I sadly went back inside to wait things out. The ravens were driven off and hawk returned to the bush cave that the snow atop it formed, where he remained literally all day feeding, resting and digesting, and feeding some more.

While this went on I was processing the incident deliberately happening in front of me, now just four days before my birthday on the heels of bobcat’s appearance. I tuned in with Astrid to ask for guidance and help with understanding something deeply heart hitting so close to home, as I felt her strongly and she’d been around a lot the last couple of days before all of this because Dave had written her a song.

I received her message that I should go back out to see the rabbit.

This was threefold: 1) To check the rabbit’s ears to confirm who they are 2) To retrieve and properly preserve the rabbit’s thumpers and more fur/tail that are being gifted to me so I can work with their magick 3) To do energy work for the rabbit’s passing and speak to both the rabbit and hawk

I already sensed who it was.

I waited until late afternoon, allowing hawk the space to gorge on his Winter meal for hours. Then, I put my boots back on, slipped on some gloves, and took a bag with me as I drudged through the deep snow to the manzanita bush again.

As I approached, hawk came out and flew up to the tree limb just above the bush. There he stayed calmly watching me and listening, as I spoke to both him and the rabbit. He understood.

I bent down and gently caressed the back of the sweet rabbit and then looked at the ears. The right one appeared normal. The left facing downward I could not see. So, I softly held the rabbit’s head up and unfolded the tip of the ear.

My senses were confirmed.

It was Foxglove.

There on her left ear I found the distinguishing notch that only she had.

Everything rushed at me full circle, as tears swelled in my eyes and enormous chills of understanding flowed through me.

I knew now why that ear notch had been important for me to see from the beginning – the only way to distinguish her from all other rabbits and to know her from start to end. This kind of incident was a once in a lifetime kind of thing. Therefore, there was divine perfection of bitter sweet.

She was me and I was her.

I thanked her deeply…for everything and I felt the shamanic ritual of sacredness we were sharing together.

So much clarity and clicks took place within me without even having to state them all out loud.

I was meant to see this. Hawk – Horus – was meant to be the one to bring me this alchemy the way only he knows how and would be understood because of my soul connection with him.

I’ve always said that hawks show up as signpost guardians and gatekeepers around important events with my rabbits. This seemed like an odd dichotomy of prey and predator always together, but in my world it was clear.

Hawk stood by to share what was mine to honor, keep, and work with, as I stood by to share what was his to assimilate.

And a resurrection ensues.

She was always so brave, curious, and loved to be around us. She had a routine munching and exploring the perimeter of our house. Hawk had known that routine, but awaited until this precise moment to strike.

This was nature’s spiral of life unfolding before me…two very nonrandom encounters exhibiting an evolution of cycles all culminating just before my birthday. And each of them pointing to a profound rebirthing/resurrection.

This theme continued early the morning before my birthday with a powerful dream where Anubis showed up and transferred energy like a laser into my third eye with a telepathic profound message spoken. (Likely why coyotes have been showing up so much for me with close encounters as well in connection with Anubis)

It would be very easy for me to stay in an emotionally devastated place with Foxglove’s experience, but that would negate the rich tapestry of gifts that the actors of this play navigated so impeccably for me to witness. A hidden blessing in disguise.

With everything going on in the world, there are take-aways in similar fashion I feel are available to us.

Again, bobcat’s wisdom speaks loudly – to face shadow and light and master polarities through inner, centered peace.

These are the reasons why I felt called to share this longer post today.

We have reached the turning point collectively and a transformational, new reality is available to experience with conscious awareness. Stay grounded and pay attention to everything within and without. We will each have our unique way to experience more of what will continue to reveal itself, but the ability to do so is no longer hindered unless by our own fear or disbelief.

Inner peace and harmony are my constant focuses so birthday celebrations today and tomorrow include peaceful and musical events that kick off a week of self nurturing that I’ll be spending at my family’s house while Dave enjoys a boy’s ski trip.

And then I’ll be prepping to head off to Egypt – my big 02-26-2026 birthday gift of deep essence liberation and rebirth for this Fire Horse year.

Birthday Crystal Celebration Beings

Thank you for celebrating with me and know that I’m wishing you an empowered month of March through each of the energetic doorways that are opening.

It’s been a few weeks since I popped in here and a lot continues to unfold rapidly both for the collective and in my individual neck of the woods.

Although I am not doing regular, longer share blog posts at this time, as I was tuning in with the energies I felt prompted to offer a little more for today due to the energies abound.

Since I already shared most of this on my Instagram, it’s more of a simple copy-and-paste reshare (for those of you on that platform) with a few additions.

Some brief collective things:

We just recently celebrated Valentine’s Day – the reminder that Love Days should be every day – after a Friday the 13th. Here in the States we have President’s Day of the 16th to reflect upon, and now we’re walking through the doorway of the Aquarius New Moon Solar Eclipse.

This Eclipse of the 17th ushers in the Fire Horse Lunar New Year (with the Chinese and Tibetan New Years merging close together on consecutive days), Mardi Gras, and start of Ramadan.

2026 is a collective #1 year, highlighting the birthing of a completely new cycle. This means that anchoring here and now and looking and creating forward are key.

As Pam Gregory shares in the video I’m linking to below…focus is our power, while pouring energy into looking back dismantles that power.

The key being to focus on what you want to create, rather than on what is collapsing.

I shared this message on an Instagram post last week that synchronously chimed in with Pam’s share even though I listened to her video only just yesterday:

Open the door to your heart.

The journey is one of many twists and turns, but love can always course correct us.

I don’t know about you, but I feel that we are being invited to welcome in the new energy and experiences…..that we need to look for, encourage, nurture, and create the things we want to see…..the hope…..the beauty…..the peace…..the kindness…..and not wait for it to materialize.

I know these are challenging times.

I know some tough things keep flying around us.

It’s up to each of us to choose to see and build something different.

To anchor something more.

Even if that is simply, but potently within your heart and your personal experience behind closed doors.

Walking the talk….. Being the love and compassion day in and day out.

When you feel helpless and ineffective, it’s time for a redirect. We’re conditioned to believe there’s only one way to create change. And that if you’re not doing it that way or can’t, then you have nothing to offer or you’re wrong for being different. This simply isn’t true.

We all have a power within…..The strength of the heart.

We underestimate this.

What we can strengthen and enhance from the inside, will emanate outwardly.

When we align our inner parts, the magnitude is amplified.

It may not show up right away in the way you think it needs to, but when each of us do this, we are building the new with grounded strength that has longevity because it’s whole from the start.

When each of us feel and embody this fully, we are making the new possible.

There are many roads to change and everyone has their unique path and role to facilitate this.

But the one thing we all have ability to do through that individual journey is to merge, amplify, and consciously direct our energy from the inside out of our hearts and clarity of embodiment. This strengthens the path you walk in greater and lasting ways than force and hatred.

Don’t wait for someone to hand you the keys.

The alchemy of your heart is the key that will open the door and let the magick in.

A few of my personal thoughts on Pam’s message:

I, personally, find Pam’s message extremely resonant for the state of things and how we can harness an empowered and embodied role regardless of who we are and what we think we have to offer – as if she was speaking from my own heart.

Everything, down to how she’s being called to shift things for herself by pulling back from and reducing things she’s been doing for years because it’s not right for where she’s going…and how she’s embarking on a new identity that is deeply heart aligned and personally transformative to her state of being and enriching for her work she will be able to then share with others.

From Snake to Horse.

I feel her message is so beautifully and eloquently expressed.

Some short personal reflections:

We just returned from a two week ski trip in Utah that offered a nice immersion beyond that and felt like a little reset that got me highly focused. I was able to refine projects and upcoming year plans, while adding more personally aligned centering and wellness practices to my new daily rituals to keep me on point.

Right after we left, on 1/31 (which coincides with my mom’s birthday) I received notification of my 15 year blog anniversary on here, which is wild to me how long I’ve been sharing on this platform. So, having a little longer blog today felt aligned with celebrating that as well, although is not an ongoing regular thing right now.

While away we saw pronghorn, wild horses, mule deer, coyotes, and these two California Condors soaring together in the sky.

This is a very rare sighting, as they are not usually seen in the northern Park City, Utah area. And to have two of them in unison together was particularly meaningful to me.

We’re now at the start of the first of two big storms that are looking to be the biggest yet of our low snow season and going through end of February into March – all kicking off with the energies of the Lunar New Year New Moon Eclipse.

That will likely mean a white birthday upcoming for me. This year is a very cool, once-in-a-lifetime numerical birthday 02-26-2026.

I have a different birthday celebration planned that will ignite a very heart resonant, dream fulfilling, and liberating new cycle in motion already.

We can each hold intention as we walk through this emboldened portal and look at what we can release, refine, and refocus.

I continue not to know how it’s all going to look, but I’m trusting and embracing what’s here and now that messages me strongly and not letting things get in the way of where I’m feeling called to lean into. Centering within, as Pam shares, is where strength lies to be profoundly effective in terms of our energy without.

I’ll be watching as the storms move in and out. It mirrors so much of the collective energies that ebb and flow – increasing in intensity, coming to a calm before each storm, offering inner reflection, and making way for the new to sprout. Nature adapts to it all, finding no reason to fear or judge the cycles and reflections that are organically unfolding right on evolutionary time.

So, too, are we resilient and innovatively resourceful.

And last, I wanted to share these as today’s offerings for the New Moon Eclipse and Lunar New Year.

An opportunity:

The first is a potential travel opportunity for Fall of this year.

I am headed back to Egypt in March. Synchronously, I’ll be arriving on the last evening of Ramadan and look forward to experiencing the energy of this sacred time there.

Without going into specifics, this is both a work and personal, spiritually focused solo journey. Part of the trip I’ll be with Mody to explore some details.

Originally, we had a private retreat itinerary scheduled for end of September into October 2026 that was requested by a friend of ours. They reached out to Mody about a trip and asked for me to be a part of things, so I helped customize a trip for them. This retreat has now been postponed to later dates.

Since the time slot and groundwork was already laid, we mutually agreed we could open up the possibility to another private group in case anyone else was interested.

We’re only keeping the opportunity window open for a short time, as things need to be secured when I’m there in March. So, something to think about over the next month, as the Lunar New Year ignites.

I’m going to be in Egypt in the Fall again, anyway, for my own personal trip, so it’s easy for me to just tag on extra time if needed. I’m scheduled to be in Egypt again next year as well.

But again, for the ability to secure special parts of the trip that require advance booking, knowing in March of your intentions is needed.
