Letting Go Is Natural – We Make It Hard

I came across this post from 2013, synchronously written in September of that year, and thought it went well with yesterday’s “letting go” theme. Wishing everyone ease and grace with all the transformations at hand.

Tania Marie

Me at Crystal Cove BeachMake “letting go” as natural as the ocean washing over your footprints in the sand.

While what you once did left an imprint, as soon as it was done, it was gone….only to return back to the wholeness from which its finiteness momentarily emerged.

EVERYTHING is simply the passage of experience, ever-recreating itself from the fresh Unity of each moment.

Even though something stands out as significant now, we are shown how brief its true existence is when the Universe instantly and loving embraces it back to its Source.

Presence of the moment provides opportunity for renewal, over and over again. Nature reminds us of this constantly.

You are just a changing thought and feeling creating a now experience.

The Days Are Getting Shorter as Life is Getting Fuller

The days are getting shorter, the air is getting crisper, and the year is edging closer to end. Life is cycling through more rapidly than ever and I find my days fuller, but moving like the blink of an eye. I hardly get through things I intend to do, so it reminds me that only that which is important gets done. The rest can be let go of, which includes ideas about any of it.

Magick happens when you let go and surrender to the natural process.

Most of the time people hold tightly to things until it gets too painful to hold on anymore and/or they hit rock bottom and are then forced to let go. When the pain of this hanging on becomes bigger than the fear you have of letting go, you finally let go and allow yourself to be carried along the river of life… safely (to your surprise).

The key is in learning to let go before this happens and doing it on your own terms because you have come to trust that things have a way of working themselves out in even better ways than when you try controlling, manipulating, micro-managing, and over-analyzing them.

When you come to trust the process of life and walk that fine line of detached, unconditional intention for the highest good – without push, force, or attachment to a specific way that “must” be – then you begin to understand and experience a return to natural harmony.

Even just taking small steps of letting go will make a huge difference. When you feel you have a block or fear with this, be mindful of what part of you is afraid and ask yourself what you are afraid to let go of. There is a little boy or girl inside of each of us that just wants to be assured of knowing they are safe, loved, and that they are free to come forth in their truth because everything will be okay. It’s a process of reteaching trust.

Learning to let go to the Universe/Source/God/Goddess/Spirit/All That Is and allowing the highest good to move through you as One, really helps bring greater peace and sense of well being to your life. Your whole body relaxes and hence, stress falls away.

You can still guide yourself consciously toward an intention while you go with the flow of “what is,” simultaneously.

How?

By taking responsibility for the life you are creating while embracing the perfection of the journey, and all the experiences that are assisting you in bigger ways than you know to bring you more fully to your wholeness.

Greater surrender and aligning with what shows up have been some of the guiding forces for me, even more these days.

And that’s been true with all of my projects, especially right now. The next couple of weeks are crunch time here, so posts will be sporadic, but I do hope to share the coming months’ and 2021 line-up of classes and gatherings soon. I’m excited about the fun in store and hope you will be too!

Interestingly, Fall and Winter has been and will be a very busy time for me. There’s a feeling of internal instinct to keep reaching for the sunlight, like a plant excited to unfurl its leaves and blooms and take advantage of every bit of daylight possible.

This translates to me as alignment. Not a contrived drive, but a sense of internal aligning being guided by that synergy of relationship to all energies and factors presenting themselves.

Life, more and more, is unfolding in a way that makes sense without needing to. It feels good.

And what also feels good is that we’ve been back to daily nature exercise. The smoke-free air supports heavier activity, so my body is happy and nights are filled with deep sleep. Although my to-do lists incrementally decrease, I still manage to get a lot done.

I’m so enjoying the garden right now – maybe even more so than Summer. It’s been exceptionally beautiful with all of the late wildflower blooms that seem to be taking us right up to the door of Winter, as the plants and buds continue to reach for the light.

This feels to mirror all of the added energy and momentum bubbling and flowing from me when this could have been an otherwise quiet time.

After our big outdoor activities this weekend I managed to plant all 150 tulip and daffodil bulbs on Saturday (11 in the side garden and 139 in the front yard) and cleared away all the current old growth on Sunday, to prep for the seasons – all preceded and concluded by some online work and organizing around the house. I’ll have to do another round of yard/garden clearing when everything else finishes its cycle, but I wanted to get a head start. Long days in the garden after exercising made for some good muscle toning and grounded balance for all that is going on and percolating on the other fronts.

Grounding helps us to stay balanced and supports manifestation. If you’re focused a lot on expansion, making changes, and doing amplified spiritual or visualization work, grounding yourself will help to actualize things and to stay healthy without blowing out your energy. If you feel spacey, distracted, unable to concentrate, have anxiety, or are caught up in a lot of external drama, you may in fact be in need of and benefit from grounding.

On Thursday, sweet Hope made another reappearance and while she sat under the bushes, we hung out together in conversation for about fifteen minutes.

Her both grounded and other worldly presence right now feels very supportive and with the sun streaming through to her, lighting her eye aglow, there was a cosmic essence to our connection.

This continued with seeing Astrid, not long after, with rainbow light highlighting her face and ear.

The way it was drawn from the corner of her eye reminded me of Egyptian energy, and I loved her ears and nose getting a rainbow boost too.

Egyptian frequencies have been flickering in the background, speaking to some ancient rooting emerging through the now and creating a bird-crumb path to follow.

Cosmic energy has been on high, and I just remembered a dream last night that involved a large, human-sized, crystal skull. In the dream I was in a foreign place surrounded by water where the crystal skull (very cosmic, animated and illuminated in blue light) had arrived via some people that currently had her. My sense was that she didn’t resonate with the people and they had taken her temporarily from others to try to extract something. She proceeded to converse with me telepathically and what I remember her saying is that she had birthed two children/beings. These beings were twin energy and that I was one of them. That’s all that is clear right now. I’m ruminating on that.

Yesterday I found a large raven wing feather on the bike path we were traveling. Then, raven physically showed up near the end, guiding me down the path ahead and circling back to stay with me and make sure I followed.

You can see Hope right between the two bunny ear feathers

Lately I’ve been finding owl, hawk, osprey, goose, and smaller bird feathers like Steller’s jay, woodpecker, and robin, but I haven’t found raven for quite some time. Their shamanic gifts are plentiful and indeed speak to cosmic energies afoot. Here are some links about their symbolism:

Raven is a harbinger of cosmic secrets and bearer of magical forces. It is regarded as a divine messenger that reveals omens and foretells the future. It is a keeper as well as a communicator of deep mysteries. The Raven is symbolic of powerful wisdom, vast knowledge, great mental clarity and high energy.

Also, the Raven totem is the keeper of synchronicity. He is a master of bending and folding time and space. Therefore, you are precisely at the right moment at the right time…Whenever Raven’s meaning appears in your life, fantastic magic is imminent. The Raven symbolism also brings messages of transition, change, and healing because of its ability to cast light into the darkness. When this happens, make sure that you are well-grounded and have faith in your journey. This birds’ magic will guide you through.

And as my dear friend Mari has shared before, “Raven travels in the ethers to retrieve what is hidden and brings it into the light.”

What is coming to light has yet to fully be seen by all of us, yet much is being revealed these days. The interesting thing always to observe is how everyone has their own filtering mechanisms and therefore create many story versions that support what feels comfortable to them – THEIR TRUTH.

The key for me is that there are many versions relative to each and I honor everyone’s choice to express that, and amidst all of it I must find the version that feels most aligned to MY heart and purpose.

Time is an interesting experience right now where it can both seem fleeting and extended. The space between timelines is potent and in any moment we may be jumping them even without knowing, as we switch gears in our lives and amplify new changes. It’s a very alchemical time period where subtle, but profound experiences are plentiful.

Themes seem to keep repeating themselves, which is why guidance has me blogging on them consistently, but spiraling at different degrees of understanding and implementation in order to penetrate the layers.

I still feel that the emotional and subconscious layers are the least traversed, and the mental or physical are clearly being exasperated. I think it’s wonderful to explore the mind and expand thought, as well as to think in visionary ways of all the possibilities. I also think it’s great to act upon things. Yet, I also am wary about how that romance of mental stretching and reactive action can intoxicate and deter from feeling and anchoring more lasting, far-reaching results. Spiritual bypassing feels to still outweigh authentic spirituality, which for me would involve funneling it through all of our senses so that we can live as integrated beings experiencing the richness of our gifts as spirit in body.

What ever the case may be and where ever we find ourselves on the spectrum of experience and timelines, it feels evident that a large-scale collective transformation is in motion of bringing forth exactly what is purposeful.

Fresh & Fun ~ Autumn Kicks Off With New Vibe & Shop Updates

I was hoping to get the Magick Rabbit Shop updates posted yesterday, but this week was fuller than planned, yesterday was Equinox hair and intentions refresh time, and the Autumn vibes plus good quality air again have had us back out enjoying Nature immersions. But here we are, as promised with a small shop update of a few seasonal treats and some fun vintage, one-of-a-kind, discontinued, or simply whimsical wardrobe pick-me-ups.

These are just transitional items, as I had inspiration to create just a handful of sweet Autumn pieces – all of them under $20 each – to include three enchanted decorative/gift items and one simple necklace. I only have one of each. You’ll find them in the Magick Pumpkins, Autumn Magick and Crystal Pendants sections.

And then, of course, the clothing pieces that you’ll find in the Closet/Vintage/Thrift section. I’ve had a lot of people ask me about the rabbit and whimsical clothing I find and if I can let them know where to get them, or find some for them. So, I decided both to put up an “Out of Closet” offering of a couple of my own pieces and then also procured a few vintage, unique, or discontinued items from various places I thought you might like. There’s currently 8 pieces available and you can check back, as I may have a couple more when I get time.

Again, both the seasonal and clothing items are a fun detour for just right now that I felt inspired to add.

The last new items you’ll find are two custom listings.

These can be found in the Custom Magick Portals and Custom Magick Chests sections. I have a limited number of each and once they’re gone I won’t be getting/creating more. There’s 5 Magick Portal size options and 12 Magick Keepsake Chests. These will be available until they run out. People have asked about commissioning these pieces and things like wondering if I could do their animal companions, etc. so now there’s an option.

All of the details are in the listings, as to ideas for inspiration on how you might want these created and how you use them, but I’ve included some of that below.

For instance, alongside painting your Magick Portal theme choice, they can also be adorned with crystals and/or feathers if so desired. The Magick Keepsake Chests will also be hand painted and crystals are an option there too.

For each, here are ideas:

Of course I love painting Magick Rabbits, but am open to other enchanting ideas. Other things I love to paint include faeries, gnomes, animals, flowers, plants, mushrooms, butterflies, dragonflies, and anything Nature, Cosmic, faery tale, or magickally themed. I have also loved creating crystal illumination portals that are painted around a particular crystal or crystals as a way to harness and focus the crystal’s energy into your space and life. Other ideas include adorning the perimeter of the plaques with crystals and creating an amplified portal or looking glass into another world or energetic experience. Another idea is to have these painted with your beloved animal companions to celebrate, honor, and cherish them forever.

The Magick Portals are created on cross-cut, oval, round and irregular-shaped basswood plaques that have a finely sanded surface and natural bark around the outer edge. They can be placed in a stand, leaned against a shelf, wall, or top of a mantle. Or, if you desire hanging it, we can discuss options when you order. They can also make a great base for candlescapes, flower arrangements, or the base of an altar space.

And of course the Magick Keepsake Chests are the perfect place to store special jewelry, crystals, hand written notes to yourself of nurturing and intentions, to keep keys easy to find, safe-keep special little mementos and treasures, are sweet gift boxes, and make wonderful Reiki boxes. The ways in which these can be used is only limited by your imagination. Some people use chests to store the ashes of beloved companions or other memories of their sweet babies.

Anyway, these are the new additions for now that Astrid and I felt inspired to add to the Magick Rabbit Shop.

Last night the sweet little bats were at it again, flying above our deck. Some of the things bats symbolize are transition, initiation, and new beginnings – basically rebirth.

And yesterday’s Equinox was a symbolic rebirthing or recreating of sorts for me, as I chopped off 15 inches of my hair! Yes, that’s right….15 inches. Since the average hair grows at a rate of about 1/2 an inch per month, that’s about 2 1/2 years of growth that went buh-bye with a quick snip-snip!

Anytime I let go of that much hair at once, it is a huge release. And although I didn’t do anything drastic with styling this time – keeping it very simple for now – it still was drastic to drop that many inches overnight and release all that was stored in those ends from the years of stuff they contain.

So my intention of fresher, lighter, and softer was achieved. I feel freer and even more invigorated. Also feels fun and more reflective of my childlike ways and sense of wonder.

And I have to say I really love it and my hair stylist did exactly what I envisioned for this initial change. I even had fun doing a mini selfie photoshoot to celebrate the new vibe fresh off the presses, as they say! And to honor and anchor the deeper transformation that is taking place within and without. I feel that a pause of presence with each step, including bigger initiative ones, is important and to take stock of how far we’ve come, what we’ve been able to overcome, and what we’ve created. There’s enough “out there” that can put a damper on things, so to celebrate hurdles and milestones, as well as even the smaller steps without known outcomes, and the ways in which we have opportunity to make life brighter, are worth taking pause for.

Dave was busy with some things so I just snapped away on my own. Weeeeeee!

I always wondered what my natural silver stripe highlights would look like with shorter pieces of hair around the face, but I actually think they ended up looking more face-framing and perhaps even, artistically deliberate (more so in person, as you can see them a great deal more).

I love that my silver feels fully integrated into who I am now. I don’t know me without it anymore, and I celebrate what it stands for and all of me that is embedded in each strand. Chopping off the ends also leaves my hair fully natural of outgrown old transitions I went through creative exploration with. And fully me is where I stand now and always.

Indeed a new vibe is sweeping through here with fresh, fun energies.

Not only did the shop and my hair get a little pick-me-up change, but many other aspects of my life have and are too. Even my garden and yard between now and the weekend are reflecting my hair and our shop, as they will have new babies planted for Spring and old growth cut back to prep for the Winter. 🙂

Do you find yourself in any way changing and refreshing aspects of you, your inner world, or parts of your life?

Cheering and loving you on.

Letting Go, Listening, Purpose & Celebration ~ Autumn Equinox Portal Preparations

Fall is in the air and everything is falling all around, including my hair. Well, not quite like that, but I’m letting it go as easily as the trees let their leaves shift and drop. More on that shortly.

I read a short share from Avia Venefica exploring where the phrase “turning over a new leaf” came from. She writes:

“…many types of trees can detect changes in their environment. They sense a shift in weather before it happens. It’s as if they predict the weather. Trees adjust to these changes to prepare themselves for pending change. For example, deciduous trees like maples and poplars turn their leaves as a protective measure before a storm hits.

Rather than flippantly tossing about the catch-phrase of ‘turning over a new leaf’, maybe we can embrace the idea that a deeper presence within and around us is beckoning us to shift our position. Maybe a powerful, sentient energy sees a positive purpose for making a motion for our betterment – for our safety – for our future.”

She points to how the inherent awareness we have is easily distracted, whereas Nature continues to listen to the signals no matter what is going on in the outside world. There’s an innate wisdom that can guide us just like trees. Surrendering to that space of knowing how and when to change will lead us to our most optimal life experience.

Yesterday morning kicked off with an Autumn celebration of joy and change with a procession of over twenty quail, a chipmunk and a squirrl, with chattering birds to accompany, all parading in front of me with a grand show.

I shared a video of the fun on Instagram yesterday, which followed the quail from fence to fence of the perimeter of our yard, with a chipmunk and squirrel who kept zipping by to add giggles to the show. It all made me so happy!

The quail use our yard for grazing and as their path into the forest. This is the sweet family we’ve seen since the babies were tiny ones, now all grown. I was doing my usual morning feeding and cleaning routine with Astrid when I caught glimpse of the action. The quail were lined up along our fence and squirrel was enjoying his pine cone not far from them and then ran closer, as if to make sure he was in camera focus (as seen above and below).

I went outside to enjoy both their presence and purposeful journey, as they hopped down into the yard, grazed a bit and hopped back up to the forest-side fence to continue on. While watching them, a chipmunk got super excited and started to zip back and forth in front of me several times, which I caught on the video. And then squirrel (this is the same little guy who always comes to tease me when I’m in the garden) decided that looked like fun and wanted to steal the show. So he ran up closer and made sure to look straight into the camera and then over to the quail and back to me.

It was so cute watching all the activity and observing the quail, one-by-one hopping up to the fence, surveying the forest, and then jumping down onto the forest floor. One of them was so excited she overshot the fence and when leaping with flutter to the top, toppled right over instead.

This reminded me of a dream I had last night where I was flying. I have dreams of being in flight, although many of them are about the effort and concentration it takes to lift off the ground and keep rising, but I prove that flying is possible. This dream was very different. Like the little quail who overshot the fence with propulsion, I had almost too much propulsion and force behind my flight. So much so that I was able to bring two other people along with me, as we held hands in a line (reminding me of Peter Pan flying with Wendy and the kids) and I flew us up and far, doing all kinds of tricky maneuvers along the way. By the end of the dream, I was in fact learning to harness, refine, and dial back my energy a little because it was on full force and I was having to navigate us to a very specific coordinate that I couldn’t overshoot. That seemed like a significant dream to have at this change in cycles right now and with all that I’ve been experiencing.

But back to the quail – I adore them and love that our home is such a welcome place for all the forest creatures. They, along with the activity of the other little animals in Autumn prep, herald the change of seasons to me.

This traveling troupe, I read, take us on a journey of reflecting upon our life story and the symbolism around purpose and progress…to see if the details are aligning us to where we want to go and what we want to create as contribution. And synchronously, this HAS been a big focus for me recently.

They speak to any action being sacred and that even the smallest of steps in the direction of purpose will propel momentum and create opportunity. So, in this way they encourage action toward our goals and to seize what is showing up.

Quail are also very social, aware, instinctual, confident, connected, and community-oriented. So there are varying levels of how these messengers may show up in our lives. As always, only we can decipher how that translates for us.

And yesterday afternoon, Hope made a reappearance in the garden just outside of my office that I share with Astrid, my rabbit. She was enjoying yard munchies and even had a fun encounter with squirrel where they nearly ran into each other, and she bounded off in surprise. Of course, I giggled out loud. She sat under the fence a while just exposing her cute little cottontail and I enjoyed watching her explorations. I discovered later that she likely ate my comfrey plant, which is funny because it’s the first plant that finally took after about four efforts. I took it as a sign she’s blessing it for next year’s abundance. 😉

While watering, two chickadees were flying and perching next to me, chatting with curiosity and of course my squirrel friend made me laugh, as he ran right up to me on the top of the fence I was standing near, looked me in the eye, chattered and then ran off. He’s such a tease, as I said.

So, it was a big day of forest celebrations for tomorrow’s Equinox, the circle of life, sacred community, purpose and the journey, and enrichment even within the transitioning seasons of change.

I’m very much hunkering into the change of seasons, which includes inner preparations matching outer ones. I’m also loving to wear the Fall colors and matching the natural environment around me. It seems to be quite a full time recently for getting a LOT done.

Do you find yourself making any shifts too, whether consciously or instinctively? Or engaging in more things than normal?

I have a full couple of weeks of bulb planting, cutting old growth, bookkeeping, house cleaning, updating our Magick Rabbit Etsy shop (which I’m hoping I can get up for Equinox tomorrow since there’s a couple of sweet Autumn additions), Reiki 2 online training and road trip prep, alongside new focuses I’m developing. So, I feel a bit like the squirrels and chipmunks in seasonal production mode. Yet, like them, am making sure to integrate some fun along the way.

Which leads to the opening about “letting go of my hair,” as tomorrow I have my first appointment with my hairstylist that got rescheduled by divine alignment to Equinox. She only sees one person at a time now so that works well. I’m planning on the first big cut I’ve had in years, since I’ve been mostly just letting my hair grow during these transitional and deepening years.

Yet, I feel so ready for something lighter, fresher, softer and releasing all the years of old at the ends. Normally, I’ve been trimming about four inches off, but it grows so fast, it never seems like I do.

I’m not yet sure what will evolve this time, but it makes me excited because I love change and get bored pretty easily. This may just be the first stage of cuts to come, but whatever and whenever they happen, it is a way I align myself with the new. And since it’s been years since I have done anything more drastic, it undoubtedly reflects big, apparent, upgrading change.

I thought this was interesting. My hair is currently a little past my waist, as you can see in the left photo, which was taken Friday to document the before. The lighting wasn’t direct, so it was a little more accurate to my medium brown hair (of course I have silver too, as you can see in the photo above this one). Then just a couple of days ago, Dave saw the light on my hair streaming in from outside and took the photo on the right. It completely transformed my hair to a honey gold, or slightly strawberry blonde, which made me look like a completely different person from behind and actually mirrors my hair in photos from when I was a little girl. I had both pixie hair when I was super young, and then hair down to my butt for years. The right photo reminds me of little Tania and seems fitting to have recaptured that, since a lot of focus for me has been about retrieval of my parts.

Now, it’s about reinventing something new.

The shifting light of the season casting a glow of change and reflection.

I also have an eye appointment Thursday to upgrade my prescription, as I can tell my vision is shifting. Vision changes reflect, to me, a different perspective on life. Vision and perspective feels important, as it relates to everything shifting so much in the way we are experiencing the world and collective right now. There seems to be a call to alter our perceptions overall and even a mass movement in terms of the things more people are becoming ready to see now. As layers of the veil peel back, we are being asked to see with new eyes and trust what is being shown/felt because that will be more key in creating a different reality than the one we may have thought was the only version of reality available.

As always, I am fascinated by connecting dots of the journey and share these experiences as one of the ways in which we can invite awareness and creative energy to the process.

Nature reminds us that we need to relinquish the need to hold on tightly with fear and to trust in the process – to allow ourselves to have everything we thought we knew about ourselves to be stripped away, only to discover a greater truth to our authenticity beneath the temporary structures.

And in the process you’ll discover the only thing that is eternal is the core essence of who you are beneath the temporal layers. You learn then that the rest isn’t as serious as you make it and is simply part of the journey to that core.

We let go, just as the trees effortlessly allow their leaves to shift colors and float off in the wind. We embrace the only permanence, which is change. And we take grateful stock of what we do have, while preparing for a new birthing that will be incubating during the symbolic stillness.

Seasonal transitions mirror the evolution of human consciousness and the dynamic shifts of life cycles.

If you feel so called, perhaps you might create an intentional space, moment, or ritual of your pleasure to connect within and without as a way to unify through love.

I wish you a beautiful change of seasons that represents the merging of two into one and a balance between contrasting energies, at the portal point of Autumn Equinox (for Northern hemisphere folks) and Spring Equinox (for Southern Hemisphere folks). May it illuminate your inner journey in enriching and deepening ways.

Because We All Could Use A Little Hope

Guess who stopped by on yesterday’s New Moon?

That’s right! Sweet little Hope!

You might remember her from last year, as I posted about her twice. One of those blogs was titled Hope Kindles Change. Synchronously, she was showing up in September of 2019 too! It must be her month for appearances and messages.

But other than a couple of bunnies I’ve seen outside of our yard, yesterday’s sighting was the first IN our yard since the snow began to thaw and I saw a bunny nibbling on some exposed greens. I had a feeling that was her too.

But yesterday I was in the right place at the right time, just having finished giving Astrid some good morning kisses and snuggles, to catch this little one running by my office into the backyard. To say that my heart leapt with glee is an understatement. I ran to go see her through the other sliding glass door and then made my way outside to give her a proper greeting.

She looked so much like my sweet little friend, Hope, grown up. It became evident that indeed it was her by how long she sat listening to me talk to her while nestled under the bushes with those wide, deep eyes and pure little heart.

Oh how I missed her.

I even got to see her binky and zip around with joy once, which I was lucky to catch a glimpse of on camera. Check out that adorable little cottontail bunny butt and powerful little back thumpers. Weeeeeeeeeee!

I LOVE that she made her grand appearance on the Virgo Super New Moon. Astrid was quite aware that she had announced herself and I sensed that both of them were working up some rabbit alchemy together.

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if Hope is a Virgo too. There’s something very connected with the two of them.

I feel that her appearance at the threshold of illumination and new beginnings that the New Moon heralds, was Hope’s way of imparting a breath of potential that lingers in the air for us to breathe in.

Although things seem daunting and so very unknown, she has the sweetest way of reminding us that all hope is not lost. That we have unlimited creative ways to navigate the journey and with a little heart and a lot of vision, we can reinvent, reimagine, and recreate anew.

And as the blog link shares above, about her message she has come to impart:

My sweet bunny friend, Hope, wants us not to lose all faith.

She wants us to kindle hope, because hope kindles change.

Not an attached, desperate, yearning kind of hope that tightens one’s ability to breathe, but a gentle, soft inhale of possibility.

Dark despair and resignation sets up self-fulfilling prophecies. What you believe has power over you.

Hope is a process of remembering your nature, and as nature always renews, so can you.

New Moon News for Equinox & 2021

Sparkly New Moon Magick is brewing at the Forest Portal as pink Amethyst Star & Unicorn, grey Amethyst Witch’s Broom, Aladdin’s Lamp, White Owl, and Tahoe natural Quartz whip together some potent alchemy

Wishing you a clarifying Virgo Super New Moon. May it bring to light the ways in which you’d like to ground new goals, commune more deeply with the “Nature” of you, and fortify your self-care rituals for maximum highest good benefit.

While I wind down some projects here this week I just wanted to briefly update you on a few things upcoming for Autumn Equinox and percolating for 2021.

I mentioned in Sunday’s blog, Changing Worlds & New Openings, that I’d likely share a little sneak peak of what’s brewing. So here we go.

First off, I reopened our Magick Rabbit Etsy Shop, although we don’t have any new items at present – just the last two journal notebooks, greeting card sets, and a few prints remain. We have only 1-3 of each left, with the exception of the greeting card set, which has 6 sets of 5 cards left. I can see that several of the items are in people’s carts already and Bedtime Stories just got snatched up and is down to the last print now, so I’m not sure how long these will last. I intend to add a few fun items in the next week or so to include several vintage, one-of-a-kind, discontinued, or simply whimsical rabbit clothing items that I procured just for this or thought would be fun to pass along. These will be available at discounted prices. I may open a couple of custom listings as well, and if time allows, some sweet, seasonal treats and surprises. So please check back between now and end of the month.

Second, I also reopened sessions again and the Intuitive Energy Guide One-on-One Sessions page just received a big refresh, which includes an Autumn Equinox Special. You’ll find that some of the changes include no longer offering stand-alone email sessions anymore, nor package bundles of phone and email sessions combined. What you will find is that there are now two phone session options – a One Hour Phone Session without Reiki and a One Hour Optimizing Phone Session with a Reiki Healing Attunement (these will continue to include follow-up emails – I’m just not doing sessions as emails at this time). Single sessions, or a 3, 5, and 8 pack of sessions within each of these options are also available along with a stand-alone Reiki Healing Attunement. Although I have a few people sending me some new testimonials, I wanted to get these up and out there, as I was already receiving requests again and getting sessions on the calendar. I won’t be scheduling new sessions until after Autumn Equinox, but you can purchase and set up these beginning now. The Autumn Equinox Special is a 4 for 3 special, which gives you a full month of sessions with one being free. Details at the link above. Again, these can be purchased now, but sessions won’t be scheduled until after Equinox.

Now on to 2021.

These are some of the things I’m working on and exploring more.

Beginning of the year, I’ll likely offer two short online Advanced Reiki classes for the first time – to include Reiki & Intuition and Reiki & Crystals, or some version of these. This would commence after December’s Reiki 3 Master Teacher training is complete and well-integrated.

I’m seeing that there’s a need to delve further and outside just the scope of regular Reiki training, as people are accelerating quickly and they need ways to learn to trust and deepen with their work, as they develop their gifts, passions and skills. I’m also seeing that the need for more creative freedom with approaches to your practice would be timely and supportive. We delve into these a little in classes, but there’s so much to get through that these deserve a class of their own. These would branch out more unconventionally to support greater flow and organic approaches with your work. Plus, I constantly hear from people who doubt their intuitive abilities or don’t know how to keep honing them, and who are so drawn to and love our crystal friend, Earth healing companions.

And speaking of Reiki. Our Reiki Level 1 online training, as you know, was completed in August and Reiki Level 2 begins the first two weeks of October, as we are splitting into two group sessions for one full day of training. Reiki 2 is full with the same beautiful group of 15 moving on together. Reiki 3 Master Teacher will be in December and currently we have 13 registered. I’m not sure who else yet will continue on, but if you’ve taken levels 1 & 2 before with me and were thinking of furthering and concluding your training, please let me know as soon as you can as this class isn’t one I can provide unlimited spaces for without creating multiple class dates – and I’m not equipped to do that for the month of December.

Next up….I received a lot of interest in and positive feedback about a mentoring program, so I’m getting more serious about looking at putting that together or seeing where the tentacles of this leads. I will update you how that’s going and if it transforms and branches off into a different version, but it wouldn’t be until later in 2021. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

As I mentioned before, this would be a more intensive and exclusive one-on-one offering, to support a comprehensive approach to manifesting a new path that turns your purpose and passions into your career, while also transforming your life so you experience the fullest expression of your spirit potential right now.

And last, I’m considering starting a Podcast or Video Podcast. This isn’t a new idea, but it’s the first time I’m allowing myself to entertain the cosmic invitation more seriously. So, I’m being more open than I would have in the past and am letting guidance through. This also wouldn’t be until later in 2021, but who knows!

I have some other things percolating in terms of online support in shorter formats, and offshoots of things I’m currently involved in that may take some twists and turns, but I’m waiting to get more clarity on those too. And who knows what else! But I thought it would be fun to share some of the brainstorming in motion during the energy of this Virgo Super New Moon and to express that I’m having a good time letting things unfold organically without putting up a fight. 🙂

I’m still committed to completing my novel and it remains my driving passion, but by letting go of any ideas around it, time restraints, etc. it’s becoming what I know it was meant to be and not what I originally tried to make it. It’s been a process of completely undoing myself in order to surrender to ITS creation.

Drop me a comment on what’s new in your world and what ideas and new seeds you’re planting. This is a great time to state intentions, courageously say something out loud to anchor in deeper commitment, brainstorm, explore, and be open to the unlimited possibilities knocking at your door. I can feel so many people reinventing themselves and making leaps. It’s fantastic!!

Happy 6th Birthday My Sweet Virgo Rabbit Queen

Today is a special day for one big soul in a sweet little bunny body. It’s Astrid’s birthday and the timing of it couldn’t be more aligned. She’s been so excited and this morning was no exception, as she ran around and awaited what goodies mom had for her. Anytime I pull out her crown she sits steadily, waiting for me to place it on top of her head and doesn’t try to shake it off. That’s a true queen for you!

Astrid’s sixth birthday falls within the window of our upcoming, early morning Virgo Super New Moon this Thursday, September 17th – a wonderful time for grounding energy in order to welcome in the new.

Virgo is the sign of the healer and invites us into a new relationship with self for wellness that ultimately supports service to others, by increasing our self-nurturing and care routines so we have an abundance to offer. And under this sign it comes easily through our opening to the power of nature in our lives. This is a wonderful opportunity for spending more time in nature, with animals, eating plant-rich foods and using herbal blends to help recharge and restore our energy.

All things Astrid is very good at and in fact for her birthday she received a big order of beautiful herbal blends, snacks, and fresh hay, along with yummies harvested from the Garden Tower. I’ve even prepared a few surprises like sunflower petals from the garden and her favorite wood and timothy hay mobile toys to toss around, chew and dine on.

Nourishing our digestive system is so supportive right now with light and healthy home-cooked meals to keep things flowing and clear, which translates to clarity of mind too.

So indeed assimilating of foods is like assimilating of ideas, emotions, patterns, beliefs, etc. and the more we can assist this, the clearer our energy fields.

Astrid knows this far too well as a rabbit with a sensitive digestive system. Bunnies need to be extra diligent with what they eat in order to keep things flowing and not create blockages. And if stress builds up, this affects that assimilation and everything can go downhill from there.

She’s experienced the processing of heavy things before and how it can create a bloating in the stomach. So she invites you to look at your life right now with vulnerable honesty and see where you might have things you need to process and digest – especially taking time with the emotions that are underlying so that they can fully receive their expression.

Are you holding onto anything that would serve you better to let go?

This window of the Virgo New Moon is an opportunity to focus on the details in your life and get serious about the changes that would be most beneficial to create greater ease and flow. By holding up a mirror to ourselves we can look with honesty at the things that are inviting us into a new experience that involves change from the inside out. Cleaning up the internal will free up the external. So you may discover wanting to fine-tune your life right now and look at the details more seriously that can set your course for success with your goals.

Astrid is great at reminding me of the things we need to adjust and refine with a little tug at my socks or pant leg, or moving her furniture and knocking down her ramp to get my attention. She and I are like one, so it’s helpful to me knowing everything is a shared experience so that I make adjustments immediately. Otherwise, she’ll respond and reflect that something’s out of balance. Knowing that I can affect her behavior, or even her health is extra motivation to stay on top of things.

This is also a great time to focus on organizing your life and building the steps for projects that will endure the test of time with the right amount of diligence you place on the little things right now as a foundation.

Astrid and I have been deeply entrenched in organizational projects, which included our shared Wonderland room/office where we mastermind fun, innovation, healing, and visions for the new. Astrid gets excited when I have everything laid out on the floor in the midst of clearing and restructuring/redesigning things. She’s a great project manager who oversees everything with happy energy. But she especially enjoys when it’s all in its new place – as do I!

She’s also been helping with the download of ideas on other project fronts. Astrid is the queen of many things.

A beautiful relationship between mind and body is a key dynamic for this New Moon too.

And as mentioned, Astrid is the best mirror for keeping these aligned, as she is quick to tell me otherwise. One of the things I love about her is her transparency and courage in speaking up. When body and mind, heart and soul, are in synergy, optimal experiences and results manifest.

Me being a Pisces and Astrid a Virgo is another way we compliment each other by anchoring both ends of the spectrum. As opposite signs on the Zodiac wheel we represent harmonious energies that although contrasting, are the perfect challenge for developing one’s potential.

Like the two fish of Pisces, they may seem to be opposing, but create wholeness as the other side of the same coin.

So this New Moon is supportive for our development and growth within the spectrum of these energies to explore.

And speaking of harmony, since this is Astrid’s sixth birthday, let’s look at the symbolism of that number, as Astrid demonstrates it in the photo above.

This includes six representing harmony, balance, soulful integration, perfect union, communication, sincerity, love, truth, enlightenment, naturally revealing solutions for us in a calm, unfolding manner, delicate diplomacy in sensitive matters, reliability, lighting our path in areas we require spiritual and mental balance, and encourages compassion and forgiveness. It’s also connected with the sacred and ancient hexagon symbol that has metaphysical and mystical meaning for spiritual attainment through integration.

These are perfect energies to feel into right now and so beautifully reflect the relationship between Astrid and I, as well as focuses that can benefit the collective to tune into and embody more.

I’m grateful for this reflection, as I celebrate the mutual love, respect, and honor shared between us.

Thank you Astrid for being such a guiding light and powerful force, as well as for being so committed to supporting the collective shifts to manifest a new reality on Earth.

I honor you and the role you accepted to always remind me to temper mission with love.

I’m grateful to have such a strong and loving soul in my life as you to walk beside me, help navigate the wild ride, keep me anchored to what’s most important, remind me of why we’re here, and to constantly encourage me to keep growing and going – while all the while sharing love and giggles. You know how to balance the strong and the sweet.

Happy birthday Astrid!!!!!!

I love you!

(Just noticed that we published this post at 12:12 pm our time – alchemy at work whenever teaming up with Astrid – 1+2=3:1+2=3 & 3+3=6)

Changing Worlds & New Openings

The world is changing and change is creating many worlds, while the doors between them grow wider. Do you notice the continued, widening contrast of realities being experienced? We each have our roles to play and Nature is always holding a mirror up so we can make empowered adjustments if we don’t like the part we’re being cast in.

Where the veils were once thick and life seemed to be a struggle, there is greater ease in walking between those realms, not just through dream and meditation time, but as a tangible reality.

And even while things are drastically shifting, feel disconcerting, and even down right strange, there seems to be a bunch of new things in the midst and opportunities opening where things may have seemed stuck, unclear, or even hopeless.

Last Saturday and the Monday following, I found more dead animals while hiking – a squirrel, a bird head, then a full bird right at water’s edge next to where we picnicked on a lake, and on the way home, a rare dead fox.

Dead animals and bones, as well as feathers and fur seem to always find me and I always do my best to bury, honor, and send energy around them for the time of their transition. They reflect to me the cycles of life and how every one of them is sacred. I also do my best to listen to what message they have to impart.

I even have a couple of birds I found, buried in my garden bed as a way to honor these cycles and have a lot of bones from my hikes over the last few years, laced between rocks on the perimeter of our land here. All stages of life and afterlife are honored and that includes the seasons of change in between.

Sunday I found a beautiful, blue Steller’s jay feather in between the sightings while having a cosmic conversation on a hike, along with many other varied small feathers along the path.

There’s always a bitter and sweet lining to the natural cycles of transformation.

The Steller’s Jay feather was a beautiful reflection of how to approach our days with lightness of heart no matter the circumstances. They symbolize bold, fearless energy, and the power of presence and how to use personal power effectively. The crest on their heads connect them to the sky and above, drawing energy and wisdom through the crown and reminding us that our true power needs to be applied in a balanced way that integrates both spirit and body, mind and heart. They also symbolize a great amount of talent, but a talent that needs to be developed and used wisely. In this way they mirror to us, if one has also appeared for you, that this is a time in your life where you can begin to support the inherent wisdom within you to mature and come forth in a bigger way. Steller’s Jay also alerts us that anything of value, spiritual growth, and relationships takes work and they show us how to activate our internal resources to do this. Communication abilities are strong, access to memories and assimilation of them come to awareness, risk taking, seizing opportunities, discovering new things to explore, balancing intelligence with silence and patience to align with divine timing all come through Steller’s Jay in message. Their crest that reaches up also places attention at the energy centers of the head/crown, indicating an increase in new spiritual knowledge and wisdom that may become activated.

All of these sightings indeed speak to progression and dramatic change, things being integrated, and even decisions in process that are part of the metamorphosis at hand. I also see them as an access point between worlds – that state of transition or void, creating a portal effect. Each animal also holds its own message along with this theme.

This dramatic change is being reflected in Nature’s Earth shifts and energetic environment around us as well. More on that to come.

While I’ve been immersed in my own state of “in between” change in motion right now, I continue to listen to where my energy and purpose is called and I’m following steps for what’s upcoming.

The consistency of my pulsing in and out, as needed, has helped me maintain balance when I otherwise could easily be thrown off or depleted. The embracing of what is being called for right now, and being okay to let things go until their time aligns, has helped me to flow better and release pressures.

This last week or so has felt like being in a void and these are the times I know a lot is happening on every level, percolating behind the scenes.

My time has been spent very preoccupied by a lot of busy work (mostly physical) that has been much needed to clear the slate and prepare the way.

I’ve also experienced an increase in the amount of incoming messages and people reaching out recently, making me understand the energy balance at play.

I always find that the busier I am the more things amp up all around me, indicating both how everything is a mirror and connected, but also a reminder to have healthy boundaries and lessen up on perceived pressures.

A lot of connection, openings, and upgrades kicking in for many, even while a lot of loss and challenge is present. It feels like the transformative events people thought were coming years ago, are here now and it’s been accelerated.

For me, it’s increased the level of direct communication and intuitive clarity I am receiving and it’s also produced a download of upcoming things I’m being shown to open up to and offer.

I’ll be sharing a little peak at what you might find in 2021 and the coming months in an upcoming blog perhaps this week. Stay tuned.

In the meantime, my life is getting a renewing revamp this month and while some things are complete, I’m still in process of creating and envisioning the rest.

There is a new rising I feel in motion, like a Phoenix from the ashes.

And quite literal expressions of this are unfolding in Nature, with profound effects on everything and everyone they touch.

Likely you are experiencing, or at least noticing, that things seem topsy-turvy all around on every level. Besides everything else going on, Earth and weather patterns have been all over the map.

Here in Nevada, we continue to experience fluctuating air quality shifts from the fires in California. Just as fires become contained, others begin.

Oregon and Washington are also experiencing an extraordinary number of fires along with California, making it an unprecedented fire season. I have heard from friends in all of these areas, including Montana, about the fires, smoke, evacuations, and even the loss of family homes. Luckily everyone got to safety, but the effects have been devastating and piggy-backing other huge hits in their lives.

Other states in the west and southwest experiencing fires on moderate to lesser degrees include Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Alaska, Wyoming, New Mexico and Nevada.

All of this sweeping energy reflecting that phoenix symbolism.

Temperatures have been record-scorching with so many areas experiencing high 90’s and over 100 throughout the summer and the fires. Although we haven’t gotten over the mid to upper 80’s here (which is warmer for us), everyone is feeling the heat is on – quite literally – in their lives.

And yet in the midst of it, snow has hit some areas even though it’s still summer. I heard from friends in Montana and in different parts of Colorado all in the midst of snowfall. Utah and Wyoming are also getting an early snow hit, making these a record early cold blast to the Rockies. Some ski resorts are reporting they’ll be opening late October, even.

And a cold front hit us overnight here, too. Just a few days ago we dropped to only 63 degrees from 83 degrees the day prior, with night temps reaching freezing at 31. The temps have continued in a cooling mode for both day and night with air quality jumping around constantly.

However, we’ve not hit anywhere near the hazardous zone like friends of ours in Bend, Oregon who hit an air quality index of 533 a couple of days ago, which has continued sky-rocketing. It’s so bad that they have to wear special masks just to walk their dogs, but stay home otherwise with their doors taped up to keep the bad air out. They’re now on their way out of state to get away from the toxicity for a while. I have another friend who lives in Oregon, but travels to Washington state because of her family cabin there, who is also reporting toxic levels in the air and having to wear a special mask to do some needed chores around her cabin.

And the rest of the U.S. has its own unusual or dramatic weather patterns to keep an eye on as well that are contrasting the west.

Heavy rains have hit the southern plains, multiple tropical systems have been moving in the Atlantic putting a tropical storm and hurricane watch in the southeast with evacuations on hand.

And there’s been flash flood, tornado, and damaging wind threats on the east coast too.

I find myself doing daily Reiki Healing Attunements these days for so many things. My heart goes out to everyone experiencing the stress, trauma, and loss with current unfoldings. Along with so many others doing similar, I keep intending and asking for supportive protection and sending love and peace to everyone, the land, the animals, and plants. I envision relief for the highest good of all concerned.

It seems no matter where you are, there’s something afoot relative to the area’s susceptibility.

It’s clear the world is changing rapidly when you view things externally.

This can only mean that internally, so are we, whether we like it or not.

One thing that’s been clear to me in life is that even if you try to escape what’s right in front of you, you can’t run from yourself.

Energetic dynamics are something we can create a different relationship to, which in effect shifts our experiences and turns reactions into conscious responses.

What I find is that as much as one feels triggered, complains, worries, blames, or feels as if they are at the mercy of their environment and situations, feels stuck, or even debilitated by their surroundings, you can’t run away from yourself no matter where you go.

So, even if you pick yourself up and leave a place or situation temporarily or permanently, you always take your stuff with you. One place or experience might feel more energetically supportive on the one hand, but looking at this option as a way to be freed will come up short if you haven’t done the work internally to support that kind of freedom. Awareness and action to support making changes, is ultimately what will bring you true and lasting peace and fulfillment, no matter where you are and what circumstance you find yourself surrounded by.

Amidst everything, I’ve been watching the forest animals prepping for winter under the glow of the smoke-reddened sun. The squirrels are especially endearing and humorous with their hiding of pine cones. They chirp away at me when I interrupt their digging with my garden time and we have a little chat and giggle about it. The chipmunks are chiming in too. Their prep could reflect the potential for an early or bigger winter onset upcoming. I’m continuing to keep an eye on their behavior, as it has always been foretelling. It’s not yet clear to me, but we’ll see in this next month. I’ve been able to predict things each year by observing them.

This is the first year, as you might remember, that we’ve seen tree frogs on our property. But it’s also the first year that their croaking has become a part of the forest symphony. Daily, I hear their vibrating throats creating a soothing and mystical melody that seems to fit the transition of seasons and the eerie unknown lingering in the air.

I love that my wildflower bed is still growing prolifically, but cycling through a lot of blooms rapidly. These photos show it in the different varying light of the day.

I’m excited that I managed to cultivate some wild comfrey in my garden from my favorite plant that grows by a near a creek, and a wild orchid bush too. They should return next year with all of these beautiful perennial wildflowers.

The fast, continual growth and quick turnover feels reflective of our lives right now personally, and collectively.

I continue to prep jars of dried herbs and petals, am preparing to make carry-around spritzers in a bottle for hiking and as general refreshers and air infusers, and have done huge projects of cleaning, clearing, and organizing on every front. It feels so good!

And with all my Capricorn placements, the organizational me gets giddy about these kinds of things – my Virgo bunny, Astrid does too! My Mars placement goes at it with vigor and feels happy and vital from the activity.

Each task is getting done, one-by-one, even though they’ve taken a bit longer than anticipated.

All things in divine timing.

As I’ve shared before:

It can be hard amidst challenges that seem never-ending and so heavy to see light at the end of the tunnel.

But often, miracles happen just when you thought there was nothing left to hope for and people tend to stop just short of that tipping point.

Every “setback” can be viewed as the potential for something more to be brought to light, greater alignment in process, or the opportunity to turn something from one thing to another (alchemy) and shift your vibration to match it. Setbacks can be a form of preparation and training to ensure you move forward into the new with a stronger anchor and greater readiness.

Much is shifting in the world on a daily and moment-to-moment basis and if you choose to only focus and dwell on one perspective – seeing only all the drama and catastrophe – not only will you be sucked into a cesspool of quicksand that keeps dragging you down, but you’ll also miss out on the rest (like things to be grateful for), which includes how those things you may not like so much are, and have, actually been fueling all of the positive changes and potentials.

Let’s remind each other of our wholeness, by embodying it more and more and embracing all potentials of experience, not just the challenging, discouraging, and depressing ones.

Yes, life on Earth is going through dramatic change, which temporarily feels like splitting worlds, but new openings are the potential we can choose to seed with more compassionate and loving hearts.

Summer’s Lazy Haze

As Summer sweetens into a lazy haze, my bare feet find solace in the thick cool clover reminding me that my blossom friends will return again.

Hints of auburn and gold Autumn hide between pine needles and sneak up each morning after anointment of faery wands dancing through the night.

Late afternoons and darkening evenings glow by the silvery song of the tree frog.

He croaks outside the door to call in a mate and his voice is both sweet and sad. I hope he won’t be alone for long.

This bitter and sweet lingers on the air of transition, as I say goodbye to the last of the foxgloves and hello to the seasonal wildflowers that seem to come and go in a blink.

Life spans are shortened like the days and light, as a mystique rolls in on the Zephyr winds.

Change is rumbling through the Earth and our bones, as seasonal circadian rhythms take on a new dance with the forest creatures in preparation.

My feet sink deeper into the cool clover; toes curling into their memories.

Happy September ~ Kicking off a New Month with Seasonal Preparations

rose and flowers

Happy September! I hope this new month is starting off well for you or feels like perhaps you got some things behind you so that you can get on to creating the new you’ve been intending.

The last day of August seemed to be a big day for many, including people and rabbits I know who all had surgeries and diagnostic procedures on the same day. Here it’s been a finalization of projects the last two days, with just a couple left for this week and I’m free!

But instead of the last day of the month, Astrid had her regular four-month vet exam on the first of the month – this day was also shared by a sweet friend’s birthday (Astrid’s birthday is upcoming though too). I’m grateful to report all is well in Queensville. She did get her usual ear flush due to excessive wax build up that her body chemistry just seems to create more than usual, and a nice mani/pedi nail clip. Her refresh mirrors my upcoming hair refresh that just so happened to get rescheduled for the Equinox, as it was the only day available. Talk about alignment. 😉

purple flowers

And speaking of the approaching Autumn Equinox when I’ll begin planting all of my bulbs, I’m loving the transition of late Summer to early Autumn vibes that continues.

sunflower garden

So much so, that my office got a little upgrade of late Summer/early Autumn bursts to match the enchanted faery garden just outside the door.

office corner

Since we moved in, which was just about three years ago, I’ve had succulents growing from my wood wall hangings. I’ve been tending them by taking them down to water when needed and replacing plants that would eventually transition. Although not a huge amount of work, it was still a task that created extra cleanup and took time when it rolled around. I decided that the easier to reach plants in the house and my garden were sufficient for this easy-breezy faery, so I transplanted all the remaining succulents to pots in the living and dining room.

I hadn’t completed the second part of the project until just yesterday, which involved replacing them with vibrant faux flowers to bring bursts of color and abundance in.

musical note flowers

butterfly

I did them in colors to match the new flower arrangements I also made for the office side tables, which replaced things that I gave away or transplanted as well. They also compliment the new rabbit wreaths that hang at top of the enchanted forest Moon portal wall tapestry that creates the magickal land for one of Astrid’s rabbit castles.

enchanted

Although I do still have live plants, topiaries, pine and sugar pine cones, beautiful lichen blanketed bark, and dried forest wild flower arrangements and sacred smudge wand in my office, these add a bright, fun touch and has reduced my plant care time to nearly nothing.

Plus, they make me so happy!

This also makes them easier to change out when I get inspired to, as I do have an idea to make little wooden shelves inside each of the shapes (there’s a star, butterfly, and musical note wood frame) where I can hold crystals and other little sacred and sweet objects. But until then, the flowers are so cheerful and warm my heart.

I’m still doing some more reorganizing and redecorating, but just small touches can really make an overall energetic difference.

jars

I’ve also continued to fill up my mason jars with dried aromatic herbs for Autumn and Winter baking and cooking. I still have tons of lavender that will likely fill a couple of large jars, have a last round of rose petals in process of drying, sunflower petals on the way (and some gifted heirloom sunflower seeds to plant next Spring), and will of course have a batch of things from the tower when the last harvest takes place.

nest mobile

And I added another wasp nest to my nest mobile (now housing seven nests – wasp, bee, and bird), which as you can see has grown both in manzanita branches and nests since first I started creating it.

pumpkin

On Monday, the last day of August, the Moon was huge and orange like this new solar garden pumpkin addition my parents gave me. As you can see, I’ve been playing around with its placement, but I feel it’s come to rest amidst the owl guardians.

owls and pumpkin

The Moon was nearly full since the Pisces Full Moon was last night/very early this morning – the 1st/2nd of September (depending on where you live). I took these photos as the night sky blanketed the mountain here last evening.

night lights

Curiously, tiny bats were circling above me, over and over, on the night of the huge orange Moon (Monday). All of it was feeling very much like the celebration of the upcoming season and Halloween/Samhain.

We don’t see bats very often, although they live here, so that was an interesting sighting that of course made me think of the messaging, which accentuates the theme of rebirth that the other animal sightings around me have also spoken of.

They also message to me about seeing through illusion, heightened intuition, paying attention to dreams, deepening within, ability to see in and through the darkness, the Underworld, exploring the mystery, and loving the shadow aspects. Circling above felt like they were creating a vortex opening through the crown chakra perhaps to bring through new insights and wisdom. Bats live in womb-like caves, considered the belly of Mother Earth, being reborn every evening when they emerge. This morning I woke feeling some crown chakra energy on the left side of my head, but it subsided after getting moving.

To add to the evening the Moon and bats were so prominent, earlier that day I received quite a few special things in the mail. One package was from a cosmic sister soul who sent me a box full of enchantment. It included two sets of five feathers – each set from a different owl.

She and I both share Barn Owls as our favorite and most mystical/cosmic owl connection. In one bag was five gorgeous, naturally shed feathers from this incredible being. And in the other bag was five more amazing, naturally shed feathers from a Long Eared Owl as an added surprise.

To say I was in awe is an understatement. Just touching the silkiness of the feathers gave me chills and when I took them out to find them a place at my desk, my crown chakra was throbbing until they were done being placed.

So lots of crown chakra initiations/activations!

magick desk

As you can see, they have come to rest next to some of my collection of Hawk, Osprey, and Great Horned Owl feathers (the others are part of a giant staff I created and others are being saved in a huge box of feathers for another future project).

The Barn Owl ones to the right and Long Eared ones to the left, interspersed in my giant, dried forest wild flower smudge wand.

more feathers

Everything has purpose and placement that is carefully chosen.

Along with tons of other fun, the gift box also included some goodies from her own garden and land (organic garlic and wild harvest Reishi), which felt like pure faery enchantment and ingredients for witchy potions of goodness.

garlic and reishi

The alignment of everything with this Full Moon and all the details that feel like they interweave together, even down to the pumpkin/Moon mirroring, garden and owl placement, and then receiving garden goodies and owl feathers, just added to the magickal punch.

There were way more synchronicities than I can share in what the box held and all things that happened at her end on the very same day, including receiving her Reiki 1 certificate from me. And other people received their certificates this same day as well.

So it appears that September has kicked off some creative fun, seasonal prep, project completions, and activations – thanks bat and owl friends, and Pisces Moon. All of it feeling very rich in symbolism to help support the upcoming steps of the journey.

That’s a peak at the start of the month openings here.

Do you have any projects in motion currently?

Hope September opens some new paths to everyone for greater harmonizing within and without.

If you want an insight on September’s energy, you can check out Monday’s blog with Lee’s forecast or get a quick astrological overview from Laura’s September 2020 North Node Horoscopes.

Side note: If you don’t know about these, North Nodes are another powerful tool for soul evolution and alignment. They’re something I stumbled upon back in my earlier personal growth and astrological research (age 20-22), along with their counterpart South Nodes, and have remained a mainstay guiding post for my life that shined a light on how to channel my full chart of energies more efficiently. It wasn’t something on most people’s radars to focus on then, so I explored it myself. Later, I brought it to the attention of my more astrological counterparts – my brother and Laura, as my intuition told me there was gold in this. I’m not led personally to go full-on astrology or delve into that in any complexity via my work with others. I just lock in to what intuitionally stands out as key to me, but I’m so glad to see that the North Node information is becoming more prominent and that Laura now offers these mini monthly horoscope overviews. It’s so helpful to have a variety of tools for personal empowerment that resonate with each of our gifts, personalities, and frequencies.
