Patience Creates Magickal Flow – A Return to Natural Harmony
Today’s blog post share is a new article I wrote for Mindful Muscle Blog at the request of its Founder, Chris Willitts. Mindful Muscle was created from Chris’s intention to “research meditation and to carefully observe its inherent capacity for personal development, fulfillment, and thriving health,” as well as “introduce other complimentary initiatives that ultimately can lead to a more altruistic society.” I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Mindful Muscle’s focus and for Chris’s interest in my work. This is the second article I was able to share with Mindful Muscle readers. I hope you enjoy:

Please Don’t Cry Mother Gaia!
Today I wanted to highlight Sonya Oak’s lovely short story ebook: Please Don’t Cry Mother Gaia! which mirrors my own heart’s reflection and work towards creating a return to compassionate harmony on Earth and throughout the Cosmos.
Sonya contacted me while she was writing this, to ask permission to use my article information, which helped confirm her understanding of what Mother Gaia is: Gaia – Earth Mother and Turtle? Ancient Wisdom For Conscious Living” – http://ezinearticles.com/?id=1341797. She so graciously listed me along with other contributors in her bibliography, but it is she who I would like to place the spotlight on, as I LOVE her story!
Please Don’t Cry Mother Gaia! is a quick and colorfully sweet read, which she is granting rights to others to post, copy, distribute and embed freely, at no charge. Her intent was to create a story about Earth and animal rights issues, as well as health and veganism that is more playful and easier to digest, while still maintaining the integrity of the information that is serious at the core. And she managed to do just that! Her story is sweet and presents the information in such a loving, endearing, magical way through the eyes of the animals, Earth and beyond. A great and easy, quick read for children and adults alike.
I love the energy of it, which emanates in such a positive and compassionate way! I think it’s great, and as I am a child at a heart, this touches the child within me and us all, at a vulnerably innocent level without intrusive rhetoric. Things don’t have to be complex to make a difference.
Thank you Sonya for being a part of spreading this light and love, sweet sister, in an accessibly easy way. I hope that many will discover the messages you share from your heart to theirs.

Rabbit Symbolism – The Magic They Bring to My Life
I keep being nudged to share about rabbits, so when last evening a group of friends were talking about animals and rabbits came up, as one person mentioned them being the most amazing little ones to have in your life, I felt the call to dedicate a little blog to them.
I have been blessed with three dear little bundles of love in the form of rabbits in this life. Always having been drawn to animals more than most anything else since birth, and communicating with them telepathically since a child, I so soulfully desired an animal companion, which we were not allowed to have in the furry form I wanted. We had fish and parakeets and turtles and fun little amphibious friends, but it wasn’t until I was about 13 that I found my first little love bunny, Twinkie. He only graced my life for a summer, but oh how I loved and adored him and we were inseparable.
Then came Nestor for five years, at age 30 and Joy, when I turned 36. And life has never been the same.
I adore at my core being-ness, ALL animals and have special places for many in my heart experience, but for whatever reasons, I find myself so drawn to rabbits as companions. Therefore, I would have to agree with that remark my friend made that they are such amazing little ones. Synchronously, I have been contemplating this a lot since my connection in Bali with the little one in my profile photo on facebook and here:
and feeling deeper communication with Joy and Nestor lately. They truly are magical and require a certain kind of person to allow their potent mysteries and teachings into your life, as they do require more intuitive presence to care for.
Normally, I’d write some long expression from my heart, but I’m choked up with the love and emotion that these little ones bring me and will let my photos speak for themselves.
I find a theme of total love and joy these little ones bring to me, by looking at these photos, and that I always hold them close to my Heart Chakra. mmmmm….I know I have a photo of Twinkie somewhere, but not loaded on my computer, as it was pre-computer days! LOL! Will share one day when I get them from my parents. Interestingly I had short hair in it, just like in Nestor’s photo. And interesting all three of my bunnies were lop eared.
But I did find this very cool article by Sandy Koi for House Rabbit Society that I felt compelled to share. I LOVE what she expressed and perhaps others will find it of interest and value too:
And here is a little rabbit wisdom from a favorite animal shamanism site:
Rabbit/Hare’s Wisdom Includes:
- Guile
- Paradox and contradiction
- Living by one’s own wits
- Receiving hidden teachings and intuitive messages
- Quick-thinking
- Humility
- Moving through fear
- Strengthening intuition
Beyond the Two Sides of the Fence – Unconditional Compassion is Where the “Greener” Grass Actually Grows
Yesterday, and through recent observations and experiences, I was reminded by synchronous messages about the importance of responsibility and the lessons of unconditional compassion. My dearly departed Nestor (rabbit companion) was always an instant gauge for me in this respect, as she would help get me back on track if I got out of my heart and in my head or wandered off path. And because of the intensity of our connection, I would instantly shift gears back on target without hesitation, as her reactions were profoundly felt, and so I would do out of love what I would forget out of responsibility. In so doing, it always kept me in check and I learned to connect the two so that they were one in the same.
Unconditional compassion is to me the most important piece of the puzzle and equation to healthy, happy, rich and graceful living. Under that umbrella recipe there are many things that are part of the ingredients: patience, presence, tenderness, genuine kindness, unconditional love, nonjudgment, the ability to listen and walk in another’s shoes separate to your own, wisdom, etc. And responsibility is part of doing the most compassionate thing for others and yourself. This does not constitute a “better than” approach nor to act out of our ego desires and needs (subconsciously or consciously).
This all may sound simple, but it’s not and it takes constant and consistent “keeping yourself in check” regularly. Part of that is the ability to not react, but to respond. In learning this, we practice patient listening, reflecting and feeling from another person’s perspective. We also learn that authenticity is important and it isn’t simply about being nice or doing the so-called right or kind thing that we would be expected to incorporate out of social etiquette or righteous ethics. It is about authentically understanding the depth of unconditional compassion and how it takes root in honoring everyone’s highest good and everyone’s chosen path of evolution, while remaining respectful of who we and they are, lovingly and gracefully, integrating wise reflection and introspection in the process.
Many times we deny responsible action, forget to practice unconditional compassion and self sabotage the authenticity of who we are. It is easy for people once they progress to a certain point of growth or evolution to feel they have reached the epitome of right action and choice and that all others not practicing the same, are less than. When in fact, the more you evolve and grow, the more you are called to bring unconditional compassion more into your everyday experience, beingness and expression. Simply because you are in what seems to be a more evolved space than you were previously, does not automatically equate to reaching the end of the road of evolutionary progress. Life is a continual journey and process and we must challenge ourselves to push the envelope of our compassion further and further, to reach and see beyond duality, even if we ourselves choose one side of the fence. The grass is not always greener on your side or the other side. The heart chakra’s unconditionally loving and compassionate energy field of emerald green, is a place that resides boundless and beyond, integrating everything with what your current mind’s eyes cannot see.
Responsible action is unconditional compassion. Embracing the gifts you came into this world to share, as well as to courageously follow through in the path you chose, but likely have forgotten, are part of this. Honoring others’ paths with compassion, communicating with compassion, leading by example from compassion, loving compassionately, acting compassionately, teaching or educating compassionately…all things fall under the umbrella of unconditional compassion for greatest effect and in respect of the highest good of all concerned.
It’s easy to get caught up in things, it’s easy to forget, it’s easy to operate on autopilot, or to turn a blind eye to yourself and others. It’s easy to see and hear what we want to and to judge it from the scope of our own or our instilled mechanism for reacting. It’s easier to abandon what we know in our hearts is of the highest good to share and be. It’s easy to sabotage ourselves so that we act less than what we are, make excuses for who or what we are and do, or why we can’t do what we know in our hearts we came here to do and is our gift. It’s easy to forget that others have different paths and that the best way we help them and teach them is with patient loving hearts and unconditional compassion – to live this in authenticity and consistency in a way that exudes and vibrates out like one small thread that affects the whole web. Rather than point out what is wrong with others or berate yourself for faults you feel you may have, it is more effective to live what resonates for you in an unconditionally loving way and to steer away from unhealthy judgment or anger (directed toward self or others) that can reek havoc on your life in many ways.
If we say we are spreading compassion in one area of our lives, then consistency is the next evolutionary step…and to bring it full circle to ALL areas of your life and to everyone and everything you encounter, every moment of every day.
If you forget or deny your responsibility to follow your path or to act from responsible compassion then there will always be a reminder in some form (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) that will come knocking on your door via messages in any way specific and relative to you, that can get your attention and at as many times as it takes, or at as severe a level as it takes, to help remind you. So it is beneficial if you can heed the disguised messages that are constantly available. I know it’s hard to hear and see them, especially sometimes given where and who they come from and how they manifest. Can seem arbitrary, unrelated and simply just life’s deck of cards you’re dealt. Remember, you are the master gardener of your soul and director of your life, as James Allen says, and the deck chosen was how YOU set it up, knowing what would best suit your soul’s desire and necessary process for evolutionary growth.
Taking the presence of the moment to step back each time you are about to do, say, act, think, avoid, fear, anger, fight, judge, deny, withdraw, defend, etc…and move into your higher heart, can make all the difference. In so doing, it allows you to receive the message of unconditional compassion that is there always when you are ready to hear it. And this in turn will alter your entire experience, as well as its emanating, residual effect.
Healing Travels – A Way to Explore & Integrate the Inner and Outer Realms
Connecting and Creatively Channeling the World Through Travel
I have always been an explorer and adventurer by heart and have been drawn to experience the richness of the many beautiful people, animals, countries and sacred sites across the globe. This is something in my DNA and soul that is undeniably loud and constantly consistent since always. I love to absorb the potent energy and feel the resonance in places far outside of my little world at home and find it food for the soul and providing access to expansive evolution and greater inspirational expression. Whether physically traveling in the 3D world or traversing the sanctums of inner and inter-dimensional travel…it’s food to the soul for me. The experiences I have been honored to share have been integral to my growth and the work I do, in gaining greater compassion, broader perspectives, transcending limiting boundaries and beliefs and adding depth and diversity to my understanding and embodiment.
Most of my travels are for purposes of healing on personal and collective levels and therefore are usually spiritually focused. I always intend to be guided to the perfect journey that encompasses my intentions, supports my dietary needs and draws the perfect experiences and connections, synchronously. And I have found that my journeys are filled with magic and unfold seamlessly and divinely due to following my intuitive guidance. My focuses are to aid the energy of the Earth, integrate the energy within myself and to bring back the messages, energy and visions I receive to imbue into my paintings and work. As a vegan, and spiritually as well as physically focused person on enjoying the totality of human experience in pleasures of food, fun, learning, adventure and sacredness, I love to relay that the world is full of possibilities for everyone and there are no limits to what you can create as joy in your own way no matter where you are.
Realizing that not everyone has the opportunity to travel, see and feel the treasures that inhabit the Earth we share, I always love to share the photos from my journeys and always include collective healing work as my focus of each journey. A way to bring a little piece of the beauty of the world to everyone, whether through photos shared on facebook, through the creations that channel through as a direct result, or the healing work I am drawn to provide in service – all embodying the totality of experiences I embrace.
Over the years I have been blessed to travel to exotic and sacred portal areas such as: Egypt, Peru, Ireland, England, France, Italy, Greece, Thailand, Bimini, Bali, Costa Rica, Mayan Riviera, Hawaiian and Galapagos Islands, Tahiti, Bahamas, Caribbean, Canada and several sacred areas in the US. I actually just returned from Bali, which was amazing and one of my favorite journeys. It is in my heart to continue these explorations of heart and soul whenever I am able to, and receive guidance to, and to always imbue the transformational experiences into everything I share for the highest good of all.
Universal ARKitecture of the New Earth – Visual Storytelling Threads Weaving a New Code of Life
Journeying Medicine Spoken Through Many Voices From Many Doorways Of One Consciousness
An “ark” by definition and historical understanding was a vessel built by Noah to house and keep safe his family and pairs of every animal of the Earth. It is also known as a sacred chest where the ancient Hebrews kept the two tablets containing the Ten Commandments. In either form, it is seen as a sacred and protective structure that contained the promise of a new life where a new architectural system of life codes would be embraced and instituted to start anew.
We have entered a time when a new way of life and the call for a new code of life is upon us once again. Cycles repeat themselves, as is apparent throughout the history of this Earth for every ancient civilization that has walked upon it. A time comes when change is much needed and there are always messages, signs and guidance being provided if we learn to be present enough to listen and see. This does not necessarily mean the destruction of the Earth is to come, but it does mean the end of a way of life and being is completing and a new form is much needed to be embraced.
According to shamanic belief, everything is alive and carries with it a wisdom and power. Shamanism is found in all cultures of the Earth and is the world’s oldest healing tradition. This ancient, worldwide practice involves engaging with spirit helpers and the forces of the natural world to develop relationships, solve problems and perform healing. Shamans travel to the parallel worlds where time and space have no meaning and use the powers of those worlds, the subconscious and the realities of this world to cause change. They are able to go within and enter an altered state of consciousness at will, in order to contact and utilize a hidden reality that most do not consciously perceive.
According to the shamanic and ceremonial traditions of the Inca, there are those known as naguals. Naguals are a form of very powerful shamans that unlike man that is driven by psychological ego desires, they have none. They are conduits of Spirit, receiving orders from an indefinable and indescribable source. Almost a non-entity, they have learned to break the psychological conditioning of the cognitive division that keeps us cut off from our sources. They can magically assume the physical manifestation of a different entity by shifting into its energy pattern, yet remain the same in Essence, since everything is energy. There are considered to be two different forms of shapeshifting wherein either the luminous body changes into a power animal or the physical body on the Earth plane changes into an animal.
Power animals are essential to shamanic practice, as shamans believe that everyone has power animals. These power animals act as guides or angels, imbuing their individual energy, power and wisdom to guide, heal and protect you. They provide the wisdom of their kind and are not only limited to mammals, but can also be reptiles, insects and sea creatures. Any living creature can serve as a power animal and plants and trees can serve as plant spirit guides, providing their own wisdom.
Depending upon the culture, the gifts each animal provides can vary, yet there are many consistencies across the board as well. It is important to let the animal speak to you in the way meant for you and to be open to their sharing without limitations. Shamanic practice honors with awareness the wisdom and life in all things on Earth, understanding and believing that everything has something to teach. Many western cultures do not get taught to value animals and the gifts they have to help support our lives and the world at large. Animals show up for us in many ways and they are believed to communicate with us by drawing our attention to things, sometimes through repetition. They try to get our attention because they have some wisdom to impart and are most eager to be of service.
We are all connected and we have each been part of all of the cultures, races and religions on the Earth. Animals are transcendent beings that speak to us in a boundless way, free of judgments or enculturated restrictions, which our ego minds would otherwise be closed off to. It is this reason I was guided to bring forth their messages through my paintings, which began as a series called, “Universal ARKitecture of the New Earth.”
The animals have messages for us on individually personal and collective levels and spread their love and wisdom to help us embrace the new energy. These sisters and brothers share the same consciousness and will voice their storytelling messages of healing, each in their own way, offering us keys and insights to a new code of life for embracing. These medicine beings hold antidotes for a new “ARKitectural” plan of the New Earth.
“Universal ARKitecture” was communicated to me and it basically speaks of sacred vessels, which I see as the paintings to be channeled and created, housing within them messages, codings, energy, keys….spoken through the many voices of the animal spirits of the Earth and uniting us through a Universal language and symbolism that is of the Earth and beyond.
Their Essence will encompass an ecclectic tapestry of interwoven threads that span and honor the many ancient, forgotten civilizations and world religions of the Earth’s history, as well as intertwine Earth and Cosmic dimensions, past, present and future. The power animals and shape-shifting “naguals” emerge through timeless energy portals to share their wisdom and powers. This is in effort to help guide us with supportive keys for co-creating a new Earth with conscious awareness, embracive remembrance and visionary innovation. Subliminally sublime is the supportive guidance they offer and the journey began through the path of the Major Arcana of the Tarot and my first piece titled: A Walk Between Worlds: “Hatun Karpay of the Nagual” (The Great Initiation of the Nagual/ Powerful Shaman).
The Tarot are a highly symbolic deck of cards consisting of 22 Major Arcana cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards. Arcana means secrets or mysteries, which is why deciphering the symbols is half the gift of the translator, viewer or experiencer of the cards and their images. The original concept of Tarot and deciphering the symbolism they hold dates back to early Egypt and India. The gypsies also used them on the banks of the Mediterranean long before they were used by the Renaissance schools and a revival of their use and interest has surged in the middle of the 19th century and continues today.
The Major Arcana (Latin meaning “big secret”) cards are the first keys to our initial understanding and is at the heart of the Tarot. They deal with the human condition and symbolize a whole range of human life and experience, representing the joys and sorrows each man and woman can experience in a lifetime. They are 22 cards that illustrate the human drama through the strengths, weaknesses, hopes, fears and the lightest and darkest parts of an individual; basically the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of humankind. This is demonstrated through an archetypal figure or figures that express a specific Essence of real and abstract symbology of a person’s life.
I started with the 21st card, the “World” card, to embark on a journey through an experience of life spoken to us through the animals and all of these elements expressed. It encompassed the ancient Incan symbolism and energy of the four directions and the Incan Medicine Wheel. There is the potential that more paintings will encompass some of or all of the Major Arcana or simply and potently come through as animal spirit guides with collective healing messages for the New Earth. It is hard to foresee the inspired channeling that will come through, as I do not direct the messages and visions received and what is needed. I am a conduit for their expression and can merely share the Essence I am sensing is wanting to reveal.
Either way, each painting will represent a key to a potential new code of life, beginning with completion and ending with completion, as every moment is perfect, whole and complete and constantly cycling into new creation. The “World” card represents all elements coming together, which is where we left off in Essence with the In Lak’ech series of five I created. Each of those paintings represented one of the five elements and now we begin with all five coming together in wholeness through “A Walk Between Worlds,” offering us a way to embrace this wholeness and energy in the now, as our experience of life on Earth, individually and collectively.
We then may move through each of the Major Arcana cards 0-21 starting with the Fool, which marks a new beginning and spiritual awakening. As we learn to integrate the Essence of the symbolism each holds, we then begin to build a new foundation and new Earth code within each of us. This will take us full circle, ending once again with where we started at the “World” card (a whole New World/Earth) and a new model for a new collective experience of wholeness and harmony takes shape. 23 paintings in total, if the Major Arcana channel through in totality, providing supportive, foundational tools that represent a life journey to a new existence as a Conscious Global Human Being collectively connected in Universal Oneness.
It is my hope that these paintings will also help to bring conscious awareness of the animals on the Earth and aid in supporting their precious lives, while providing deeper understanding and compassion amongst us all. We are all connected and every living being holds infinite intelligence integral to the circle of life and has its own unique Essence that creates a colorful thread in the tapestry of magnificence we know as Universal Consciousness.

Message of In Lak’ech Series – Visionary Collective Healing Paintings for the Now
I began a series in 2006, which took me on a four year intensive process of healing at great depths. I named it “In Lak’ech,” which is a Mayan saying meaning “I am another yourself.” Through my personal healing journey on inter-dimensional levels, I was also simultaneously embarking on a major collective healing journey that not only bridged all time, but took me across the world to sacred sites where the energetic work could be accessed in greater depth.
This series represents the Five Elements of Fire, Earth, Air, Water, and Spirit that speak to the mind, body, heart, and soul, personally and collectively. They contain within them Mayan Sacred Glyphs as a connective thread through which a message of healing was revealed. They also weave in earth, cosmos, honor for all beings, astrology and planetary influences, ancient civilizations and potent symbolism. They are each embedded with healing messages that weave a visual story through infused telepathic encoding and act as healing, Reiki portals that transport the viewer into an altered consciousness where personal tranformation can take place.
This process of creation took me along a path where discoveries, inspirations, and compassion became the guiding lights of my journey. These encoded “Healing Portals” take us on a journey of integration and healing, as we embrace a return to natural harmony and imbue the beauty and value known by the Ancients into the now, along with healing those elements that it is time to evolve forward from. In light of the “Future of Education,” there is much to learn from Ancient wisdom; learning from the past in order to flourish in the now. Mother Earth is calling us to remember. The Universe is reminding us to believe. The healing revealed will be as unique as the individual experiencing it. The creation process has been a personally healing and integrative journey. However, as this healing takes place for me, that energy becomes available to everyone. These five paintings were a landmark anchoring of my life’s work and threshold to a new doorway of creative expression and being. Each painting has been executed over a period of one year each (excluding the last two that represented a speeding up of the process and time), from first inspiration to completion, mirroring a personal and collective process revealed and executed in divine timing.

Tortoise & Hare Lessons to Embrace
I have had both the honor and privilege of sharing love and connection with both “The Tortoise and the Hare” – singly and simultaneously through my soul connections with Nestor (lop eared rabbit), Gaia (Russian tortoise) and Joy (lop eared rabbit). And in doing so, this has enabled me to hear and embrace the gifted messages they each have to share; integrating their individual embodiment of agility and quick-thinking maneuvering (The Hare), as well as steadfast flowing (The Tortoise). Life is about balance and so at times there is a need to get in tune with both “The Tortoise and the Hare” aspects within. Both are equally grounding and teach us we do not have to be victims. By either turning within (The Tortoise) or listening to our instincts (The Hare), in times of fear, we can become empowered individuals. Each have much to share in their own unique way; both symbolizing a different kind of strength we can learn to embrace. There are times we will need to move with great speed through life in leaps and bounds, yet also take time to smell the roses and to breathe…..All of life is a melding of seeming opposites that create harmony, when we embrace the beauty of each.
