The Heart Behind This Space
I’m so glad you’re here.
If your soul longs for a little more wonder in this world, welcome.
Everything you’ll find here has grown from a lifetime of listening—to nature, to the quiet wisdom of the heart, and to the unseen threads that gently weave us back into relationship with ourselves, one another, and the living world. It is the way I’ve come to meet life.
I’ve never experienced the visible and invisible as separate. Whether standing beneath ancient temple columns, walking alpine ridgelines, discovering crystals hidden within the mountains, sitting quietly in communion with another soul, or simply resting beneath the canopy of a forest, I’ve come to trust that life is always in conversation with us.
My practice has simply become learning how to listen.
I’ve spent my life discovering that wonder isn’t something we leave behind in childhood. It’s a way of meeting the world, and one that has quietly shaped every step of my path.
As a child, nature was never simply a backdrop. It was alive. Animals felt like companions and teachers, and rabbits, especially, have continued to gently shape the way I experience presence, wonder, and the quiet language of the heart. Crystals carried stories. The stars seemed to sing. Even the ancient mysteries quietly beckoned me home, gently lifting the layers that had obscured what my heart had always known. What many called imagination became the language through which I experienced life. Rather than leaving that world behind, I’ve spent my life allowing it to deepen into a way of being.
Over the past three decades, that conversation has taken many forms. I authored my first book, Spiritual Skin, painted visionary art, designed sacred tattoos, taught workshops, guided retreats around the world, and spent many years as a Reiki Master Teacher and intuitive guide. Each expression has simply been another way of exploring the same quiet truth: healing isn’t something we achieve, but something we remember as we come back into relationship with ourselves, one another, and the living world.
Among the many places that have shaped my life, Egypt has become one of my greatest teachers. When I first journeyed there in 2007, I didn’t realize I was answering a call that had been quietly waiting for me my entire life. I returned home carrying far more than memories. Something within me had quietly shifted. Four months later, I found myself returning—not because I understood what was unfolding, but because my heart already did.
Some places leave us with beautiful memories.
Others quietly continue walking beside us long after we’ve returned home.
Egypt became one of those places for me.
It was there that I unexpectedly found my voice through my first experience of sound channeling. More than the experience itself, it was the quiet strength that returned home with me that transformed my life. Soon afterward, I began teaching Reiki for the first time, trusting a path I had never imagined I would walk.
Looking back, it feels as though the land had recognized something in me long before I knew how to recognize it within myself.
For many years, the dream rested quietly within my heart, waiting with remarkable patience until life and I were ready to meet it once again.
When the invitation returned eighteen years later, I recognized it immediately. This time, what had once been a quiet calling had become a living relationship. Since then, I’ve found myself returning again and again. Each journey reveals another layer of aliveness, joy, embodiment, and quiet empowerment. It feels less like arriving somewhere else and more like discovering another room within my own heart.

Today, my life feels beautifully aligned with the rhythm my heart has always known.
That rhythm was shaped in part by a season of living full-time on the road, when my husband and I left behind the familiar pace of the built world to embrace a simpler way of living. Life in an RV invited me into a deeper relationship with the changing seasons, the quiet wisdom of nature, and the gentle unfolding that happens when we allow life itself to set the pace. It became another way of learning how to listen.
Much of my time is now spent immersed in the natural world—embracing the quiet gifts each season brings, backpacking beneath star-filled skies, hiking mountain trails, wandering ancient landscapes, traveling wherever my heart feels called, discovering crystals hidden within the Sierra Nevada, tending a garden that grows wild with intention, writing when inspiration calls, and following the quiet invitations that continue to shape my path.

These days, my work feels less like a profession and more like a natural extension of the way I live. The more deeply I’ve learned to listen to life, the more naturally that listening has become something I share with others. Through my writing, photographs, sacred journeys, occasional intuitive guidance, inspired offerings, and reflections shared here, I explore embodied living, conscious relationship, creativity, nature, spirituality, and the everyday wonder that quietly reveals itself when we slow down enough to notice.
Nothing brings me greater joy than witnessing someone remember the quiet brilliance that has always lived within them.

If my words, photographs, or creations offer anything, I hope they gently remind you of something that has always belonged to you.
The wonder.
The belonging.
The quiet knowing that life is far more alive, intelligent, and beautiful than we sometimes remember.
I don’t believe magick is something we find.
I believe it is something we awaken to when we begin meeting life wholeheartedly.
If something within these words stirs quietly in your heart, I hope you’ll embrace the invitation to return.
May we remember together.
