I hope everyone enjoyed their day yesterday, however you celebrate it. We spent the day at my family’s house, which was a cozy time full of vegan feasting yums made by my mom and dad, laughter, stories, and even getting to watch the snow fall from the dining table. I was called to wear some full themed attire, as you can see here with me in a rabbit dress, with my crowned rabbit queen necklace with flowers, and a bracelet adorned with rabbits, butterflies, flower, and dragonflies. The giant rabbit on the dress reminds me of both Astrid and Nestor and I love how one eye is wide open and the other is winking closed and turned within – very potent symbolism. The dress has much more of a Spring-like motif, but it felt fitting for transformations upcoming.

I love the staircase painting that climbs up to an old stone home that my mom says looks exactly like the steps up to her grandmother’s home from her childhood. The crate below it says France on it – where my mom was born and raised – all felt significant for the journey ahead. More to come on that.

But the reason for this post was to extend extra gratitude to my readers and friends here and my attire went along with the rabbit theme of the reason for this short post update.

The Magick Rabbit Etsy Shop

Simply for fun here’s a montage of whimsical captures from last weekend after I received some new winter rabbit beanies in the mail from a sweet friend, fellow artist and bunny mom I connected with via Instagram. One is as you read above, and the other is rabbit art she made and titled, Rabbit Sleeping. I don’t know what it is about these beanies of hers, but they inspired some silly wabbit shenanigans and because I’m all about reminding people of their inner child, I don’t hesitate to wear my silliness on my sleeve. In fact, I love making people laugh and I laugh to tears about so many things. Poking fun at myself is a way I hope to invite others not to take life and yourself so seriously and to find the humor and playfulness in things.

I wish I could retrieve the photo I posted as my temporary story on Instagram (this is like a snapshot that only stays up for 24 hours where you can share quick things). It was a photo of me in the field you’ll see below where I looked like a Sasquatch (Bigfoot), the way my body was caught in motion. And that’s exactly what the caption was “Sasquatch sighting. Oh wait….that’s just me!” It not only made me laugh so hard, but many others as well who in fact told me they had to return to look at it several times because it made them feel good laughing.

And that makes me happy!

Anyway, these photos from last weekend on two different 7+ mile hikes in my winter rabbit beanies inspired short and sweet rabbit captions. I also found some interesting symbolism that showed up in some of the photos (can you find them?). The photos tell their own mini story with another layered story (likely with more personal symbolism to things in my life currently) and led up to yesterday’s New Moon in Sagittarius and big snow storm that started then and continues through tomorrow.

The last photos happened to be up at the higher elevation where some snow still lingers from previous snow fall, but foreshadowed a long Winter’s nap settling in now with an entire Winter Wonderland we currently have with a couple of feet of snow already.

The Magick Rabbit Etsy Shop

I was drawn to take this photo of Astrid two evenings ago and it lingered with me. Of course, when asking her if she had anything for her blog today or not, she directed my attention to this photo and I instantly understood. She’s so wise!

I always refer to this as her Castle Tower and it’s literally one of her favorite go-to places. She either lays to the left of it, comforted by the tower as protective shelter, lays under it, or inside the top floor of it enjoying the sun shining upon her and sometimes checking out the lay of the land as a lookout point.

I hadn’t thought of its connection to The Tower card in the Tarot deck and increasing collective experiences of change until this morning, nor had I realized so much symbolism in how she uses this Tower, as well as the set-up for it.

The Tower card often illustrates a tall spire sitting on the top of a mountain – interesting that we live at the top of a mountain and Astrid’s Tower looks out at another mountain peek and on the forest and garden here where she watches over the forest creatures. Lightning is depicted as striking the tower and people are being thrown out or desperately jumping from it to escape the devastating trauma and imposed destruction from what seems like a surprising event. Like with all things, including nature, symbolic and literal death/transformation of old things is inevitable to make way for new growth and opportunities. How we embrace this change, however, is up to us and in fact we can be so aligned with it that it becomes a natural rhythm rather than chaotic upheaval and devastating blow.

Inspiration that is embraced and trusted can lead one on this path of more natural alignment.

Ignoring those inner voices and feelings can lead to the experience of shocking truths that uproot our lives.

Some Tower cards depict a crown thrown off the top, but in essence the top of a Tower is in fact in the shape of a crown and this could reflect higher mind or consciousness, as well as ambitions and goals, materialistic beliefs and ideas, or focus on mental energies.

Sometimes the “Towers” we’ve built in our lives can provide a false sense of security, keep us prisoner to a certain way of life without feeling like we have a way out, or are built upon shaky foundations that threaten us around each corner of collapsing.

Many might view The Tower as negative, scary, and downright unnerving, but Astrid and her Tower tell me a different story. She always offers another perspective to life’s experiences.

She has many ways in and out of her Tower – with six doorway/window portals in fact – speaking to me that like her we are not in fact prisoners, nor does life have to feel that way. There is never only one way that life unfolds and along with perspective shifts and willingness to be open, and nurture curiosity and courage, we can create different choices and pathways. Astrid willingly places herself in the Tower, even with prey instincts that would not want to be trapped, because she senses these doorways/possibilities for movement through life.

I love the symbolism of the crown, as the Tower top, not only being our crown chakras or higher selves, but also as a reflection of being more humble and vulnerable with our sense of self, spiritual intelligence, and expression of that. Looking at how ego motivates or supports your life can be a part of that. And this can speak also to how material things consume your actions or how the idea around these things provide a false sense of self or security, rather than simply as an expression of your being.

Astrid points out another Tower connection that might get overlooked. She shares that a desire to always be “on top,” “one up on,” always having to express or preface things with the fact that you know something/knew it long ago that someone tells you now, or that you’ve already been there, done that, etc., are also ways in which you can shift into a softer version of humbling. Simply allowing someone else to voice things without your voice speaking louder can alter the Tower you live in to be more inviting and grace-filled. Your Tower of life doesn’t have to be menacing or a put-off, just as much as the Tower of your life’s experiences doesn’t have to be menacing or a put-off to you. Astrid is comfortable being on top, on the bottom, and off to the side (behind the scenes). She doesn’t strive for any one particular place over another, as she has a healthy sense of self and how to embrace the gifts of different positions, while allowing others to do the same.

Alongside Astrid’s many ins and outs to her Tower, she also has soft landings and extra support to get in and out. There are mats on the top and bottom for comfort and an extra cushy pillow to jump down to, which you see her on in the photo above. She also has a bed to the right that provides a step up and down, when she doesn’t feel like leaping straight up and down from the floor.

All of this demonstrating that although life can throw us “seeming” surprises and major transformational lightning bolts, we can experience a safe landing and being provided something even better, if we create more consciousness around our lives and take steps in our day-to-day to life with more awareness and aligned action. This can buffer the blows and surprises so that we reflect more of nature’s way of being with change.

To me, The Tower is not ominous and foreboding, but can be a state of incredible insights that lead you to hidden gifts and talents, as well as more amazing possibilities than you can imagine from where you stand now. When change hits, I feel it is a change we’ve secretly or verbally yearned for, but at the moment felt outside of our comfort zones to stretch into. When we create little daily pieces that take us in baby steps forward, as well as do or think one new thing each day, then these create a new sense of comfort that feels more authentic than the resigned sense of comfort we train ourselves to accept.

Astrid’s Tower top has four special stones placed in the four corners by me. Two are raw quartz and the other two are stones from one of the lakes – one shaped as a heart and the other spiraling of ancient sediment layers that create an eye image. They each have their own symbolism, but in totality create a sense of comfort and energetic support while she lays there. Rabbits like to be grounded to the Earth, but even at this higher and more foreign ground, Astrid feels nurtured and secure with inviting new energy and experiences in. Finding ways to gently be with more new energy can make change easier.

It’s no surprise that The Star card follows The Tower in the deck, as it promises hope and renewal to come from the major changes and that you will have all that you need within you to experience fulfillment. One more reason that The Tower card need not be seen or experienced as a bad omen or negative force sweeping in to ruin you.

Why does this feel important to share? Astrid and I both feel it’s because so much is about the old collapsing on a global scale and within the individual experience these days. Major transformation is at hand, and although change is constant, there are peaks to the mountains and we are climbing one of those now.

Yet, like The Star, and Astrid (who comes from the stars) indicate, liberation and softer ways of experiencing this can be a new way.

There is no turning back from change, but how you deal with it can be written as a new adventure story rather than a tragedy.

The more illusion and self delusion you have become saturated and comfortable in, the harder change is to embrace. Illumination can set you free and doesn’t have to be profound.

Nature reflects everything we need to know daily in front of us. The same miracles you see within Her, are within you.

You don’t need to go on some long quest or deep searching to see what is right in front of you.

We each carry the power within us to create our own version of reality. And although it doesn’t always immediately show up in the outer world, you can still travel through life under the spell of your own intention simply by changing your relationship to everything. Yet, sometimes and often more times than not, you will in fact experience that reality in the form of reflective things that pop up out of nowhere or message you with sweet whispers of confirming support. The trick is to listen and trust what shows up and how you feel led in each moment.

Change is a constant and yet there are times that feel increasingly potent with transformational momentum – like recently and upcoming. I feel it revving behind the scenes and I sense it is happening for many. It may feel like a lightning strike when the manifestation of the change takes place, but truly has been in the making with every forward step.

I increasingly don’t need or want to know the outcome, even though I get my usual sense of Pisces knowing in a bigger picture way. I prefer to experience things organically evolving and simply take the day-to-day steps of greater embodied alignment and action. My visions are usually very future-oriented and I never know if that is near or far future. Usually it’s far ahead and because I have no sense of time it feels very close.

Something shifted about four years ago that created both a greater peace and trust, but also relinquished a lot of detailed interaction I was having on other levels. It’s both bitter and sweet. It’s still there in sporadic bursts, but has become more of a knowing and what used to seem to feel more like it was channeling through to my core seems to be pouring forth from my cosmic heart center.

Being is seeing and knowing.

It’s an experience of energy within the labyrinth of myself – that centering and balance labyrinths help your focus with while you go on a mini pilgrimage of higher self connecting.

Speaking of labyrinths, yesterday was the birth of our literal one.

It’s very simple, but not as simple to measure out precisely and paint. We worked on it in the garage, as it was raining outside. It’s done in metallic gold paint on off-white heavy duty canvas material with gold grommets around the edges. We’ve wanted a labyrinth for so long and had plans to create one in the yard, but for now decided on having one that can be moved around.

It can be used on the deck when it’s not snowing or raining, inside in the open meditation room, in the garage, or take it places like our meditation group.

We just finished it last night in time for a snow day intentional meditation walk with it, as today we have snow for the first time in a while. Crystals will of course accompany the journey.

As I’ve written before about Labyrinths:

Every step of the journey is integral to the path of wholeness that you are on.

It is ever-changing and ever-perfect, taking you to your own sacred center and back out into the expansive reflection found there.

At times you may need to call upon your intuition and creativity, engaging receptivity and courage when deciding to enter the journey to center or not – the way in is the way out.

I enjoy the “way in,” as I’ve been continually journeying deeper and deeper to my sacred center. I’m not too concerned as to how that will look on the way out, as right now I’m just immersed in the inner, knowing the outer will take care of itself by embracing that.

The Labyrinth was a common Native American Indian symbol that they used to represent life as a journey and our infinite, eternal nature. It is a way to understand that life is what you make it and the way we choose to live it, determines the degree of freedom and expansiveness we experience.

It is a portal of life evolution.

It’s interesting that the labyrinth birthed on a rainy day and eve of snowfall – to me representing even more that inward journey.

And in the days leading up we also experienced a brand new hike we’d never done before, which revealed a very deep labyrinthine adventure into an unusual forest and private nature immersion.

The other photos in this post are just some of what was experienced.

Light danced around everything.

There was not a sound or sighting of animal except for one woodpecker at the start that seemed to be tapping out a code to open doorways for us – everything was eerily still and warm except for pockets of cold in the forest.

We saw only two couples briefly descending during the entire nine mile, four hour journey, as we ventured to our second lake destination on this hike.

A magickal tree portal invited me in.

A hidden ice pond and two ice waterfall discoveries when I followed the feeling to go off trail.

I found a Northern Flicker feather right as we left Emigrant Lake to journey back through the forest. Synchronously, they are migrant birds, symbolize balance, and are said to be like the Phoenix and created by the Sun god because of its red head streak. Their feathers are considered good luck. I wore it at my ear, as you can see in the first photo of this blog.

Heightened energies were profoundly felt as were the hidden eyes upon us, but in a very supportive way.

We both felt at any moment some being would run across the forest and would not at all surprise us. I felt like the Fae were gathered and talks even turned to discussing things about them, which I believe they enjoyed.

And again there was that sense of journey to center as we followed the labyrinth trail in and out of the forest from one lake end to another.

I was even able to do a sacred Reiki Healing Attunement at the destination lake where the sunshine felt like a hot summer day after the journey within the ancient dark enchanted forest. This process ended with the only far off, unusal bird song and a breeze heard and felt. Then returned to silence.

Every day, experience, question, or challenge is a new labyrinth adventure that can lead us to the center of ourselves with surrender and curiosity. Transformation comes through the alchemy of our hearts and each invitation points us to that center.

This is our second exciting share for today’s blog musings and it centers around one very special rabbit and the story of his coming into his best life as Supernova. It’s a story that reminds Astrid of her own and how she waited patiently to be seen. It’s a story of alignment, trust, opening to the magickal, and of course, love. It also continues in the thread of our last share about the mini temple for manifestation and an exalted life we created, adding to the web of what is possible when we believe and act upon things being messaged to us constantly. There is a line-up of events, like stars colliding, that can lead to an explosive vibrancy of experience, catapulting you into a new reality.

And this is what took place recently for one special soul in a little rabbit’s body, one sweet faery in human form, and in essence one thread of the collective web putting into action a collision course of shining and enriching possibilities.

As The Great Conjunction shared at the end/beginning of its story:

…The reuniting of these two celestial giants causes a chasm within Rabbit’s heart. As Love beats rhythmically from within her chest, it expands outwardly and begins to awaken a long awaited event. Four shooting stars hurl across the Cosmos – two silvery aimed at Mother Moon, one golden at Rabbit, and an enormous one pulsing of silver and gold, gifted by the Central Sun himself, headed for Earth. Ten planets begin to journey into a new alignment amidst the stunning rapture that has been ignited. The Great Conjunction begins and something new stirs from within Earth’s core and inside of all consciousness beyond her. What happens next we have yet to see, as to see it, one must be it.

But let’s back up.

You may remember my sweet and very dear faery friend, KC (aka Bean), but BB to me (Bean Bunny) from our magickal adventure in the Grand Canyon with her and her equally sweet husband, Clint (aka Happy). She and her husband settled back in Lake Havasu City after completing their several year journey living in their RV (just like Dave and I had). After fulfilling their dreams, one of which was to live and work at the Grand Canyon – their love – they felt it was time to anchor in, much like Dave and I did.

I’ve called her BB (Bean Bunny) for quite some time now, ever since I learned she had a bunny as a little girl, had a lot of bunny things in her home when she was young, and for other reasons around my sensing her bunny self. It’s interesting that on one of the days a lot was going down in this story you’re about to read, I saw this engraved on the bridge across the creek by our house, which I hadn’t ever before. We had a giggle over it accompanied by faery chills.

But back to KC and Clint’s journey back to nesting in their new home, which magickally came together quickly for them.

They both have had animal companions in the past, but none for quite a while. Synchronously, KC had a rabbit companion for a brief time when she was a little girl just like I did, but none since.

She started to feel an animal companion was part of her journey again, although she and her husband were both challenged by the bitter and sweet of that experience – having gone through loss a lot when seeing beloved companions transition. She and her husband are also vegan and they have deeply compassionate, connected hearts to all animals, which makes it even more challenging.

Rabbits started to come up more on her radar ever since she and I had connected and I was able to share with her the experience and connection I’ve had with mine and Astrid.

She didn’t go out looking for rabbits, but rabbits were looking for her!

As they settled into their home she was involved in decorating and setting up their new magickal space and happened upon an item (a dragonfly) she was picking up from someone locally to decorate her creative room with.

This woman happened to have rabbits and mind you, the local rescues/shelters don’t really have any except maybe one rabbit at a time when they do, and the nearest rescue with more rabbits is in Phoenix, three hours away.

Again, she “happens” to end up at a woman’s house, led by a dragonfly, who has several rabbits – perhaps the most of anyone in this city for all we know.

At the time KC was in a different space, still integrating and processing the new life shifts, going back to work, and this new feeling around potentially bringing in an animal companion and around rabbits in general. But the woman did show her two bonded sister rabbits that she wanted to adopt out to her. For a little while after meeting them she contemplated this, and we discussed it together a lot, but it didn’t feel right. And many things unfolded after deciding it wasn’t the time and although sweet, she didn’t have a strong enough pull there. Her husband was also still on the fence about the decision too.

Fast forward to my creating the Magick Rabbit Keepsake Chest – The Great Conjunction.

I posted the first sneak peak of this new creation on Instagram and Facebook and KC saw it right away. She didn’t know why she was so strongly feeling a connection to it, but she shared this feeling as being “indescribable”. She contacted me immediately with her interest in it and how huge the pull was to it. I knew it was meant for her, but neither she nor I would come to see more of the crazy reasoning for that until later.

If you may recall, I posted it on Halloween/Samhain – the portal day I completed it on – a day when the veils are thinnest and communication from beyond is ever-more clear. It seems I had been channeling one little rabbit with the help of my own rabbit family collective – especially Cosmo who feels quite connected to him. You’ll understand what I mean shortly.

For the next few days after KC contacting me and her purchasing the chest, she kept sharing how much she was feeling this special piece and it was consuming her thoughts – even though it hadn’t arrived to her yet. Then on 11/4 (four days later), the woman with the rabbits contacts her out of the blue. She texts her a photo of her one male rabbit she had and asked if she wanted to adopt him.

Although KC says she likely saw him briefly while she visited the other time, he never registered on her. The woman had been more focused on the two sister rabbits. Also, the male rabbit was kept inside the house in a cage and the females, along with a third one, were free roaming outside in her yard. I won’t even go there yet on how devastating that all was to both of us.

KC texted his photo to me right after and a series of wild, crazy synchronicities began to happen even more so between us than usual in our communications/interactions around the possibility of this. Literally, we were both having full body faery bumps and mind-blowing experiences of alignment and magick – too much to detail here. In the midst of it something hit me and I said, “OMGOSH!!! Look at the photo of the rabbit on the chest. It’s him! They have the same dark marking around the eye.”

At the very same time we had both individually made a side-by-side collage photo of a zoom-in of the rabbit on the chest and the rabbit the woman wanted her to adopt, and texted it to each other at the same time. It was exactly the same crop and yes, they matched, as you can see! Even the nose shape is the same!

Things continued energetically revving and KC couldn’t stop thinking about the little guy. So the next day, 11/5, she went to go visit him to see if the connection and all of the feelings she was having would be confirmed. She likes to say, “Remember, remember the 5th of November,” which is from the awesome movie V for Vendetta if any of you have ever seen it.

And so, the 5th of November would in fact be remembered, as it was the day KC and this little rabbit made a bond in heart for life. He had sent out his message through the portal, which I had received in my own way, this woman responded to in reaching out to KC, and KC had been ready and open for.

Four days later, on Saturday November 9th – another day to remember – sweet Nova, short for Supernova came home forever.

I’m not sure what his name was before, but it’s likely better that way, as to me/us he will always just be baby Nova. How his name came about was it’s own alignment of trust and  his messaging. She had two names come to her after deciding she was going to adopt him. Apollo and Supernova – feeling a celestial/cosmic name suited for him and reiterated by the rabbit on the chest.

The morning before she went to pick him up she had decided that if Space Odyssey came on the radio first she would name him Apollo and if Champagne Supernova came on first she would name him Supernova. You know what happened, given his name. 🙂 But truly this was only one more confirmation, after a series of other things that were pointing her at that name, so she listened. She knew he was giving her the name he wanted.

And this is much like the ways I’ve received names for my sweeties, from dreams (Cosmo’s name), from tuning in over days and simultaneously getting the same name as Dave did separately (Astrid’s name), from a song I was listening to – the Gayatri Mantra (Gaia’s name), my favorite Christmas cartoon (Nestor’s name), and meditating (Joy’s name).

KC loved the name Supernova, feeling that his coming to be with her was going to ignite his true essence. Nova is what she and her husband/we all call him now, which is short for Supernova and feels perfect because Nova is also the explosion of a star, but it’s a new star that increases in brightness. A Supernova has even more energy. So there’s the reflection of new beginning that is incrementally expanding and emanating.

KC shares that she knew once he was removed from his situation and cage confinement, and was showered with nurturing and love that he would explode and shine bright like a Supernova!

And that’s a Supernova for you – a star that explodes and becomes extremely luminous!

Baby Nova has aligned his life for greatest luminosity! I love it!

And I love this description from online dictionary meanings:

“Supernova is an astronomical term for a star that explodes like crazy. When a star turns into a supernova, it becomes extremely bright. Supernova sounds like a superhero, but it refers to the super explosion of a star. A nova is also the explosion of a star, but a supernova has more energy. A rare celestial phenomenon involving the explosion of a star — the largest explosion that takes place in space.”

Well, you can imagine that both Astrid and I have been super excited about all of this since the 4th. Between then and the 9th, when she brought him home, we were whiskers deep into lots of Rabbit 101. Between texts and phone calls it’s been full-on rabbit immersion week and I LOVE IT!!

I know KC has felt bad asking me questions, but I’ve assured her that this is my passion, my love – to help rabbits and to help people to understand and nurture rabbits in the best possible way. I don’t know everything, but I’ve learned a heck of a lot over the years and to be able to pass that on is a huge gift to me. I feel it’s definitely part of my path, along with helping people to understand these incredible souls in rabbit bodies more and how amazing they are. Plus, help create that bond and channel for deeper understanding of self through relationship with rabbits and ultimately nature.

I also have to admit I’m super excited to have a rabbit nephew for the first time! There are many rabbits I have grown to love through my social media friends and that I am very heart and soul involved with, but to have someone so close to me sharing the bond with a rabbit companion as I am, is very special. I’m Auntie T to baby Nova and that makes me hoppy! And Astrid is especially hoppy too, as she has a cousin. And together we get to share our growth and adventures, our learning and our sweetness, and be there through the tough times too.

Astrid has already been in contact with him. Just last night, in fact, we both noted their behaviors at the same time where Nova was more low-key than usual and Astrid was thumping like crazy for a good 15-20 minutes at my end. Something had triggered Astrid, but it wasn’t until KC messaged me that more started to make sense. There was a lot of energy moving and once Astrid was finished, Nova got up and went to visit KC.

I imagine they’ll continue to connect and my rabbit loves in the stars will watch over Nova, as they do Astrid. Cosmo, especially, feels connected to him because they are both the only males and both sweeties. I feel as if Cosmo (who travels more closely between Earth and Cosmos due to the day he chose to depart) will help show him the ropes – reminding him of his star essence, and Astrid will assist this as his Earth-bound guide.

I’ve so enjoyed shopping for baby Nova and helping mom find all the cute and quality finds. He’s basically experienced the three days of Christmas in November over the last three days of receiving three separate shipments from us here. LOL!

Shopping for rabbits is F-U-N!!! Quite intoxicating.

Nova had his first comprehensive vet visit on Monday 11/11 to get everything checked out. He hasn’t had a good rabbit diet, nor quality rabbit life where he was, so it was good to get things looked at. Hearing about the low quality and lack of education to understand rabbits and their needs (including diet necessities) that he came from just reiterated why sharing stories like this and all that I do about Astrid and rabbits is so important. Being that they are ultra physically sensitive, in comparison to dogs and cats, and have prey animal instincts, there’s just so much more to learn about proper care for them and more investment of time and patience to support them into living their best lives.

There are simply some things you absolutely don’t do and others that are imperative that you do.

Some of the DON’TS would include: housing a rabbit in a cage (they are easily potty-trained if fixed and can be free roam or a combination of free roam and X-pen (exercise pen) housed, feeding it dog food meant for a meat-eating animal, feeding it tons of sugary or binding fruits and food not healthy for rabbits’ sensitive GI tracts, mishandling them (this can lead to them breaking their back from kicking hard to escape), leaving rabbits outside to live in the yard or cooped in a hutch or cage where they are subject to predators, falling into a swimming pool they can’t get out of, or hot temperatures (they have limited sweating ability due to not having the same kind of sweat glands other animals do to allow for effective panting), etc.

Some of the ESSENTIALS include: providing unlimited Timothy hay (for adults) and Alfalfa hay (for youngsters), providing a variety of greens from an approved list for rabbits, providing unlimited water, having the rabbit spayed or neutered, overall, understanding their dietary needs (what’s good and bad, getting a handle on rabbit health and sensitivities and things to watch for, having ER things on hand to treat things like stasis and gas pain when you can’t get to a vet immediately, bunny-proofing your home to avoid painful or even fatal accidents to your rabbit, etc.

And the list goes on! I haven’t spent the last week sharing with KC for nothing. And there’s still things I keep thinking of that come up along the way.

There are so many wonderful rabbit moms and dad and rabbit rescues that are doing fantastic work out there in educating and sharing about rabbits and I want to continue to be part of that positive chain so we can avoid needless suffering and pain, or worse.

I’m all about this for all animals, nature, people, and the Earth at large, but it’s my particular path to be a voice for rabbits.

Thankfully, all checked out for little Nova, and since he’s only 2 years old his youth is on his side. I imagine he was also keeping himself high-vibed because he knew KC was on the way one day when she was ready. Much like Astrid had waited for me and had kept her health extremely excellent despite her background before getting to SaveABunny.

Nova also got the okay for his neutering surgery that will take place this coming Monday – so healing energy we are sending for his fast recovery. This will also help KC to properly litter box train him. Not being neutered doesn’t lend to success with that, as they like to spray and mark their territory.

But KC has him all covered for that. She’s created the perfect habitat for him in a large X-pen for now with all the comforts needed and with a special flooring to easily wipe up stray urine while he gets trained.

He’s also given full run when she and hubby are home from work, which has been super fun to see photos and videos of him exploring and getting into mischief, as well as just being a bun and expressing his joy and comfort.

Upon his first day he was already doing binkies and flopping himself down – both wonderful signs of one happy bunny!

AND, more confirmations continue to flow in about how divinely perfect this alignment is and has been in the making, including this photo that I flipped out over too.

KC sent me this on the first day he arrived home, I believe, of him exploring and making their new wood table his new warren (it’s in tree root shape).

She mentioned how his back markings reminded her of a Unalome, but my attention went immediately to that natural rabbit head carving in the wood! It looked like his head peering back. I brought it to her attention and again the full body faery bumps were going. She then sent me a zoom of it.

Little sweet signs of rabbit energy that were present all along, and there have been others.

But the sweetest of all is Nova himself. He’s a love bug and has no fear of being held, is very cuddly, gentle hearted and fun, and is bonded to KC and loves Clint too. They are his warren.

He didn’t waste time getting up on the couch and up on Clint too! Clint adores Nova, too, by the way. We all knew this sweetie would melt his and everyone’s hearts.

Clint even installed him a bunny cam so they can watch him while they are at work and once he’s potty trained, he’ll have full run of the house all of the time.

In the meantime, he sure is exploring!

It’s beautiful to experience KC and Nova’s relationship blossoming and it thrills me how much KC loves learning more. She devotes herself to nurturing him and gives him more love than there are stars. The two of them are already inseparable and Nova is revealing more of his natural healing abilities with glimpses of what’s to come!

He’s getting to know his new friend, Jelly Bean, that Auntie T sent too. I had no idea her name was Jelly Bean. I just sent it along because it was a favorite stuffed rabbit companion for years that Joy and Cosmo used to have so I thought Nova would like one of his own. Stuffed rabbits that they enchant themselves are great for solo bunnies.

I got rid of the tag, but when the new one arrived to KC she said wow it’s name is Jelly Bean like the one I gave you. No coincidence there and that KC’s nickname Bean is short for Jelly Bean. Just like Nova is short for Supernova. We now both have Jelly Bean stuffed bunnies (well I have two).

And KC now has two of the cosmic Magick Rabbit Talismans – Many Moons and Cosmic Egg – that Nova and the bunnies had a hand in revealing to her and me. This one made to reflect him.

I love receiving daily updates and hearing about the joy they are all providing one another. It’s so beautiful to experience the growth they are all sharing together and Astrid and I feel grateful to have them in our lives. We’ll always be here for them.

Astrid was especially excited to share this story with a hoppy ending because it mirrors her own experience in many ways.

She, too, waited for someone to see her for who she is and with all the nurturing and patience, has been able to blossom forth into more of her fullness – exposing her gifts and doing what she came here to do.

That’s what she wants expressed in this story is that animals are souls too. They all come in with different paths and things they have to experience, but with the right support and understanding that can be illuminated.

These souls can add to the collective pool of energy creating a new reality here and so to support them, as well, is supporting a new possibility.

These souls can add to our own understanding of ourselves – our essence and nature within – as they teach us about parts we have forgotten or have been conditioned away from. They help us reconnect to nature and live in greater harmony through that relating.

These souls can also help us bridge the gap between ourselves and others different than us, with things we fear, or don’t know much about, and they can also help bridge our capacity for kindness and compassion, as well as support us in merging our cosmic and earthly parts when we open all the parts of us to live at an increased consciousness level, at an expanded heart level, and at a deeper sensual nature – creating life as an art.

KC and I have had an influx of creative juices flowing over the last week with all the amped up vibes, joy, and abundant rabbit energies running through us. It even got us both on an inspirational wavelength starting to channel chronicles of Astrid and Nova.

Who knows! There could be a children’s book in the works one day on their adventures together. The possibilities are endless and with a Supernova in our back pocket, it’s sure to be explosive!

Today is going to be a double blogging day because Astrid and I have a couple of things we’re very excited about to share. The first, and shorter share, being this new channeled creation that we have been birthing over the 11/11 portal and 11/12 Taurus Full Moon Energies. We thought you might enjoy experiencing the energy, as it seems to be emanating a lot for the people viewing it so far on social media where we first introduced it. It felt important to share at this time to anyone who might come across it.

It is the newest and also last creation for 2019, as we are shifting gears fully beginning Monday. That’s not to say that there won’t be some more new painting creations for 2020, but they will only take place sporadically if I have a need to shift gears momentarily.

We recently needed to channel some energy through the latest pieces you’ve been seeing me share here – four to be exact – alongside all of the new Magick Rabbit Talismans and mini framed original art pieces we were able to birth as well in time for the holiday season.

These recent four creations have been a transition for me into full time, rather than part time book work, as channeled short stories for some have wanted to be told alongside the artwork.

Everything I create is always a mini themed world with a story, but for the first time I shared a couple of these stories and this felt to be getting me in story telling flow while also channeling creative brainstorming that was needed.

I didn’t write a story for this one, as it didn’t want that revealed. Being a true meditational piece, it will share it with you if you decide to take time to tune in with it.

This latest piece isn’t available yet in the shop, but will be. For now, it’s acting as portal for this transitioning period and the new to come. So keep an eye out for its listing in the shop soon.

The Magick Rabbit Etsy Shop

For some reason, this blog post from 2012 has been on my mind the last couple of weeks to share again: Sacred Bone, Tattoos and Stones: Mayan Portal Mysteries Unraveling.  (Side note: I don’t offer sacred tattoo designs anymore and the jade sphere in the post has been sold – this is a seven year old post).

It’s interesting I am finally called to share it today on 11/11.

Perhaps it has a little to do with the Taurus Full Moon tomorrow, which feels really focused to me around the energies of fuller embodiment into the human experience and all the rich reasons for that. We often can either be focused solely on the human experience, or solely on the spiritual/cosmic one. Bridging these together is the miracle of our human temple body and in valuing both we can build self worth, greater enrichment of life, deeper compassion for all, and hone in on manifesting abilities by working with the fuller picture.

Taurus and Scorpio are a polarity (opposite, but both fixed signs – the latter making them a bit tough for implementing change). I like to try to keep things simple, even though there are so many complex energies at work beyond this. However, even if you just understand these energetic concepts of life (Taurus) and death (Scorpio) in the cycles of bringing in and releasing out energies, accumulation versus releasing, building versus transforming, etc. then it really can shed light for us of where we are out of balance.

Several nights back, or rather early morning, I had one of my tailbone/coccyx pains take place. It started in my dream and then I woke up with it continuing in waking life. These experiences are much fewer and far between these days, but they do tend to crop up around time periods of shifts for me and integrating new energy, and I’ve also noticed it several times around Full Moons.

I’ve noted that this tailbone pain (stemming from my having fractured it many years ago and reinjuring it over time, as well as a very bad contusion to sacrum that felt like cracking it wide open to the cosmic abyss!) is connected to activations, as this area, as you’ll read in the post I’m reblogging, has sacred symbolism as a cosmic portal of the human body and doorway to the Otherworld. It also, of course, is connected to the activation of kundalini energy.

It’s like a contraction and expansion that takes places and creates a throbbing, centralized in this location of the most basic stabilizing earth element that reflects how we relate to the world.

All of this supports why I spend so much time in nature, self nurturing, grounding, focusing on balance, creating boundaries and withdrawing my energy “out there” to “in here” – the latter feeling very prevalent again in my life right now.

Raw black tourmaline is always a great friend to have on hand for these energies and if you experience any tailbone/coccyx/root chakra stuff too.

Anyway, for whatever it’s worth, I hope the blog link provides something of interest or maybe links some connective dots together for thoughts or experiences you may be having.

I’m always fascinated by information I find years ago, and how it becomes more profound for me as time go by.

Point in case, this particular blog of information as one example.

Another example was when I began painting my most involved pieces that led me down rabbit holes of hours of research at the library and online to understand all the symbolism every little morsel that was popping up meant, and how they were connected.

This was also the case for the deep research I did around north nodes so long ago in my early twenties, which I still have the old pages of notes from books I was flipping through at the library and new age book stores. I always felt that information was key and over the years I started to understand it more and became more ready to implement what at the time was simply knowledge in my mind.

It’s wonderful to learn new things. It’s life-changing when we actually integrate it and use that knowledge.

Today’s share from the wondrous world of Astrid, is both a peek at a creation we just birthed yesterday and a feel into the collective energies we sense – a threading together of what moves through us to manifest and why.

There’s a pervading anticipation, concern, and powerlessness energetically moving through the airwaves and it’s even had Astrid both in a frenzy to move energy AND a desire to anchor silently into stillness.

“Perhaps we can turn anxiety into wonder,” she says.

What you see pictured here are photos of The Rabbit Hole ~ A Woodland Whimsical Portal featuring a mixed gray wild, elder rabbit that in many ways embodies Astrid’s energy. The rabbit sits inside of an old hollowed out tree stump, which is also in fact a portal into the wonder and alchemical chaos of the void. Rabbit is the master and guardian of this realm and guides you in navigating personal mastery within it too.

Astrid’s desire with this portal painting was to remind everyone that true knowing has always lived within you. Every challenge you face is an invitation to open your imagination more and bathe in the hidden mysteries like a bedtime story enchants your inner child. To devour this kind of curiosity and unpredictability helps you discover and manifest the worlds your imagination leads you to explore.

Yes, there is challenge and yes there is no guarantee, but when you embark on an adventure into the unknown this kind of spiritual journey has the potential to produce invaluable riches. When you stretch outside of your comfort zones, you begin to tap into the limitless well of possibility within the impetus of creation.

It is this very quest where a spiritual awakening can be actualized into embodied depth.

Going down the rabbit hole helps you remove your conditioned sense of security and knowing so that you move into an experience of navigating through moment-to-moment creative life force – every moment and step being creatively imagined anew. When you stretch to receive knowledge and ancient wisdom beyond reason alone, an activation of expansion takes place within your heart and life.

You become more fully actualized and so too does the journey unwind in brushstrokes of artful living.
