Our Best Snow Day this Season
Our best snow day of the season was yesterday, which is also our first time being able to snow shoe in our forest portal backyard due to the amount of snow here at our 6600 elevation level. It was my favorite day so far this winter. So grateful to have all this magick outside our door and mostly all to ourselves, as we were creating fresh tracks 90% of the time. Fresh powder up to two plus feet deep in some places, with bridges, creeks, portals, wise tree spirits, and more enchantment around every corner. What a work out too when you’re in such deep snow, plus snow shoeing is usually two to three times more the effort.
It continues to snow so we’re looking at maybe doubling our snow depth at this rate and will be snow shoeing all weekend. This morning I woke to find another foot plus of snow. It’s supposed to continue snowing through today and maybe some tomorrow and then again the weekend we get back home from our Arizona trip. Seems like we’re being gifted snow before and after we return. Yay!
I may look cold and seem all bundled up, but truth be told I was one hot faery. Although I only had one thin sweater and one pair of thin leggings on under my jacket, I literally was sweating profusely and wishing I was in a tank and shorts. If I’m not moving I’m cold, but the second I do, watch out! It’s like an inferno within. LOL! In fact, my hands and feet will be warm, even if they are exposed or get wet. I had to remove my gloves to help breathe a bit and would have removed more if I had somewhere to put it all. If not for the beauty and snowflakes falling all around me, I would have been focused more on how uncomfortably hot I was.
A friend mentioned it’s because I’m exerting extra effort with flapping wings too, making it magick exercise. I like that. 😉
Dave is the complete opposite. He is freezing all the time, and all layered up. He can’t understand how I get so hot and can basically be wearing little to nothing in the cold temperatures. We’re like yin and yang in this respect, but I have more yang and he has more yin. I think it’s my Mars energy.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this winter wonderland in our enchanted Forest Portal here.

This is a view of our house in the forest covered in snow

This is us with our house in the background. I call it sneaky faery. I can’t figure out what that smudge is. I think it must be snow, as the lens is on the opposite end of the camera and my finger doesn’t touch the screen to take a photo. I see also there’s some smudge by Dave’s left lens of his glasses too. It makes me think of an old photo and is interesting, so I included it.
Fire & Ice
Yesterday we took an afternoon walk along Zephyr Cove – a favorite go-to for us on busier days. And upon this walk we discovered an enchanted realm of ice sculptures, courtesy of Mother Nature, the incredibly powerful Lake Tahoe Queen, and good ol’ Zephyr. We stumbled upon exquisite, mysterious, and magickal ice formations, which we’ve never seen before except for one time last year at Fallen Leaf Lake. How lucky we felt to find them, feeling like we were walking through Earth’s natural gallery, as we explored and encountered each different ice spirit and their unique energy. They don’t call this Zephyr Cove for nothing, as that wind sure is a shapeshifter for the waters of Tahoe.
The ones we saw last December at Fallen Leaf Lake were much more ice castle-like and lacy. Whereas the ones from yesterday were all so organic and different. Some looking like extraterrestrial beings, sea creatures, fire, mirrors of nature around them, Elementals caught in motion, fascinating portals, and also delicate, Faery ones creating an ice kingdom.
I love the variety and even the large boulder rocks covered in cascades of icing and thick blankets of bubbly ice just oozing with frosty delight.
There was an interesting juxtaposition of a large controlled fire in the background and also red and fiery energy that was showing up in some of the photos behind the ice sculptures. Sometimes the red and golden glows were part of the natural landscape, but particularly in the first photo of this post, the red just appeared atop the ice.
Fascinating!
Anyway, I thought you’d enjoy these beautiful and otherworldly creations, as I take you along the walk we enjoyed yesterday, stopping to explore each and every one of these beautiful works of art.
Everyday I Fall In Love A Little Bit More
Living here is such an incredible reminder of what is possible in terms of creating and manifesting reflections of my heart’s desires and having the peace I feel within, mirrored to me. When I first saw this house, despite knowing we would be doing a complete internal demolish and remodel, I knew the footprint, its energy, the layout, and the essence of the land here was meant for us. I always felt the end result and not the process and the Faeries kept reiterating this to me with signs, messages, and to continue to trust even when challenges arose. They told me to be patient and they would handle the details, which they did and have.
Although we’re still in remodeling mode, the major work is starting to wind down and we’re beginning to see the fruits of our labor come together.
This includes the magick of the forest land we sit on and our expansive forest backyard.
Yesterday our contractors left early so we had opportunity just before sunset to do a short hike out back. All of the photos you see here are of this trail we took from our home.
We have a whole grid work of hiking/biking trails right off our deck and yesterday we discovered a new one, which was this big loop that takes us through the forest, across a creek, along it, then through meadows, and back into the woods and along a second creek that then returns us home.
It was gorgeous and the light of the day had an aura of golden glow that just lit everything up with enchantment.
Soon this whole area will be covered in thick blankets of snow and we’ll be able to wander to our heart’s content on snow shoes. Dave intends to try out cross country skiing too, which will be perfect here as well.
To have this as our backyard is just incredible. I would say “pinch me,” but I know I’m not dreaming.
It’s taken me nearly 45 years of my life to get here, but it’s been worth the work and wait. Couldn’t have happened at a better time and goes again to show you that all things have their divine alignments, as now is when this all means the most to me and supports the next phase of life I’m entering.
Faery Succulent Fun!
So, I became a mom to 107 new succulent babies that arrived yesterday! Yay! Added to my 28 already that are part of Faery gardens and topiaries that makes 135! These new ones are part of “project decoration” for my office/faery/bunny/cosmic magick creation and play room to come. Can’t wait! Will share the finished product when complete. 🌱Â
It’s not a number I planned or anything. It just turned out that way and I kind of like the 9 energy of it creating a full cycle. There may be more to come, but for now these should do.Â
And today I got word that the second part of “project decoration” has shipped out and is on the way. All of this, plus some other things all seem to be coming together in perfect timing, as I haven’t been able to set up my room yet, but will be able to in the next week or two.
I LOVE succulents and find them so easy and fun to love and nurture, and with a very short growing season here in Lake Tahoe, I’m much more apt to create indoor Faery gardens as extensions of the Great Outdoors brought indoors, than spending tons of time with that externally except for simple things, rock gardens, and such. Especially since I spend so much time out in Nature.
Besides, I have a whole forest as my backyard, so everything is naturally manicured by Mother Nature.
So my intent is to create my room like an indoor Faery garden itself and like an extension of the forest, inside with portals and fun, so that when I AM inside and working on creative projects, I will feel like I’m out in Nature still and in my own creative, cosmic reality.
Faery fun soon to begin! WEEEEE! Can’t wait!
Surprise Gifts from the Faeries
Every day is a gift, each moment is an adventure unfolding, and every breath is an opportunity for expansion. It’s been an incredible journey with surprises around every corner and most recently, surprises discovered in our own backyard. We haven’t yet moved into our new magickal dream house, but we visit each day to manage remodeling, care for our new trees, and when time allows, explore a bit of our enchanted forest garden. I’d made promises to the Faeries to work with the energy here and in turn they opened the doors for this house to manifest and have sprinkled hidden treasures to uncover along the way.

Back view of house
I’ve already begun to plant some seeds of new in our front yard for the Faeries, which include five daffodil and five iris bulbs that were gifted to me by Faery sis Laura. If all goes well, they’ll be blooming once the snow thaws, bringing enchantment and color to the entrance of our home, lined along the large trees and Manzanita where I felt called to place them. As mentioned, an earth worm showed up while I was doing so, which felt like an affirmation of placement and gratitude.
We’ve been starting to work on a few changes to the area just outside my new office as well, and have been dream journeying with ideas for the yard there that will become a Magick Sanctuary that will at some point include a labyrinth and more. A work in progress for sure and can’t be started until Spring. For now we are focusing on the inside of the house, as truly the yard is a Nature’s work of art already.
We knew this was a magickal space, sitting on the National Forest with only one house to the right that isn’t on top of us, but also aren’t year-round neighbors, however we continue to discover just what the Faeries had in store for us with guiding us here, as we uncover more of their surprise gifts each day.
Today marks seven weeks since my foot fracture, and I’m no longer wearing my healing boot. I’m now able to wear regular supportive shoes and am moving around well. This has enabled me to start doing some easy hikes and walks, which include the beginning of explorations in our forest backyard.
We have an endless circuit of hiking trails out back that lead all over, including connecting to the Tahoe Rim Trail. I have only walked about a mile so far, but in doing so last week, discovered some treasures!
Not only did the Faeries leave raw quartz directly behind the house and along the trail….gorgeous pieces of pink quartz….but we discovered some very cool things about where the house sits, including having views of Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort.
We are exactly smack middle of two year-round flowing creeks, literally just a quarter of a mile in either direction (we clocked it) and about 3-4 minutes walk. What incredible energy that is having flowing water and the magick of these little Water Nymph areas perfect for this Pisces.
Here’s a short clip of one. The other has a bridge over it. This one has a log bridge over it.
Throughout the trail there are beautiful granite outcroppings of large stones that create sacred areas and energy as well. Some are large and others smaller. In some cases create rings or circles, and in other cases are just deliberately placed and have distinct shapes. I didn’t capture all of these in photos, but this is one of the larger areas.
And to our surprise we have very tiny peeks of Lake Tahoe. Not the full, expansive view of our tree house, but indeed open channels and portals connecting her energy with our home, both seen from the deck and back rooms of the house, and also wider openings along the trail just yards out.
This became extra apparent as we were there at sunset and I saw what appeared like two Suns setting. Then I realized the second was actually the Sun reflecting on the water and I could actually see the waves rippling on the surface of the Lake.
They don’t show up in the photos much, but give you a tiny idea. In person, it’s quite magickal.
I love the streaming of water and light through these little doorways, which creates this incredible portal of flowing energy tying in so many elements here that it’s almost beyond words to describe the feeling of. It just feels perfect, aligned, and definitely meant to be, plus creates a lot more mystery, magick, and mischief!
The dances of light that have been present the last few visits at our home have been revealing too and excite me as to all that will continue to reveal itself when we do in fact live here and what will take place and become possible in creating.
Oh what magick we will weave with secret visitors abound!
I love this video of the light in the yard and if you look closely near the railing you’ll see this magickal little white energy flying through the air and following my movement…then disappear.
Gratitude overflows and excitement builds. Yet patience is my constant partner for all that lies ahead and is unfolding step-by-step.
Life continues to be a journey of trust, loving commitment, and continued dreaming…
Deer Heart Medicine
This morning’s gift….four deer just below our window spent the morning grazing. An older buck with full antlers, a younger one with little antlers growing, and two females. It was such beauty and grace to watch and such lovely medicine to experience and be messaged with. This same window was where a black bear gave us a show rolling in the snow this past winter. And the deck is where a hawk landed, facing in at me, and so many variety of large and small birds (including eagles) fly by and land, as well as squirrels and chipmunks come play. It’s truly wonderful to experience and I know will continue tenfold at our new home on the forest.
I’ve written before on deer symbolism, which includes so many lovely energies:
love, grace, gentleness, compassion, innocence, peace, beauty, fertility, femininity, humility, swiftness, acceptance, regrowth, renewal, creativity, spirituality, psychic power, subtlety, higher connection, awareness, abundance, benevolence, watchfulness, and is associated with the moon, the dawn, and the easterly directions.
The stag in particular symbolizes the same, but includes masculinity (which brings balance), regeneration, guidance, healing, connection to the Earth and forest, alertness, pride, independence, purification, strength, and nobility.
I thought I would share some of the photos I capture this morning, as I spent about a half hour or more just watching them.
I also found it a beautiful synchronicity, since my dear friend Dawn is visiting and she is very connected to deer medicine as well, having a couple of sacred tattoos of them she wears on her skin, and her blog is in fact called Deer Heart Reiki
We have continued to share some magickal times and sweet moments while she has been visiting. Today she’ll get to meet Astrid and we’ll take in a lovely forest hike before she heads off tomorrow morning, which will be sad, but also just a continuation of the journey and cycles we share.
Nature Heals & We Heal Nature
I’ve spent most of my life as a Southern California girl where weather is mild year round unless you drive to the mountains or way north or into neighboring states. That’s one reason why people love California so much and while that’s been what I always knew, I’ve longed for the changes that mirror my own. It’s such a gift to have that once again and for the long haul. For me, this experience of full immersion into the changes really enhances my experience of life, creates depth of presence, and enriches it all. I truly love the fullness of embodiment within and without.
I had opportunity to experience other climates and regions while living in the Seattle, WA area for a year, Sedona, AZ for a couple of years, Lake Tahoe and Reno, NV for 5 years, and traveling all over the world, which has really driven home to me the kind of things, weather, and energy that are nurturing to my soul and what nourishes thriving for my heart to create and be fueled with inspiration always.
I’m grateful to have found that.
Autumn is truly spectacular here and I so appreciate and love living in a place where I get to enjoy the four seasons and literally experience the reflections and wisdom of nature’s cycles. Everything we want to know can be found in nature.
The photos in this post share some Fall visions I’ve enjoyed with discoveries on the land of our new home to include trees and bushes bearing berries, shifting colors, small clusters of Fall-blooming pansies, and a favorite Manzanita tree that is truly a giant Bonsai Faery realm.
I’ve also included a photo of the five daffodil bulbs I planted (a gift from Faery sis Laura) and the dear Earthworm that gifted me his blessings on choice of planting location.
Today our new giant elders, guardians, wisdom keepers, and storyteller Austrian Pines are in process of being planted too, which is exciting! Three so far in and five to go.
I love all the magick Nature is revealing to me and the sweet relationship I have with her to gift her the same as she does me. I made a promise to the land, Faeries, and all Elementals of our new abode, and we’re keeping them. Little by little, we will merge our spirits as One through the creation of this sanctuary haven.
I’ve also included images from yesterday’s walk – I was able to do 2+ miles on flat trails along Zephyr Cove and Taylor Creek (one with and one without crutches), getting a chance to immerse in Nature’s beauty and light, as well as to see the gorgeous and symbolically potent salmon once again, while taking in the smells, crisp chilled air (in the 40’s), and gorgeous dance of colors.
At four weeks already, I’m on my way to hiking again soon! Yay!! Half way there!
Nature heals and we, too, can help heal Her.
Nature’s Gifts Reflecting Life’s Cycles ~ Celebrating What’s Right in the World
Well, bear magick and medicine was at it again. Just two days ago, four beautiful black bear showed up on my path, along with the abundant Kokanee salmon, during what was a short, but ever potent and rich experience. The last time bear had visited was near the end of Winter, when they were coming out of hibernation a bit early and now to see them preparing and fattening up for Winter, is definitely another full circle experience. Not to mention the timing for me/us that is also full circle, marking the ending and beginning of things. Paired together with the symbolism of salmon, I’m feeling the depth of these animal spirit guides’ reflections anchoring alongside the mirroring journey of my life.
It was a gorgeous late afternoon where we’d planned to meet up with our friends Bean and Happy at Taylor Creek, before heading to a dual purpose dinner party (welcoming our friends/guests Paul Shapiro, vice president of policy for The Humane Society of the United States and his girlfriend Toni Okamoto, founder of Plant Based on a Budget and author of The Super Easy Vegan Slow Cooker Cookbook to town and a going away party for Bean and Happy – boo!), so they could see the salmon before leaving Tahoe yesterday morning on their next adventure. It ended up being the perfect send-off for them, as well as the perfect celebration for us.
Our friends had arrived their well before us and were checking out all of the salmon, after doing the short Rainbow Trail there. Dave and I arrived about a 30-45 minutes after them and made our way down the trail too – my second short Nature walk in the last few days without crutches since having my boot, as the previous day my parents had visited to take me to lunch, followed by a walk along Zephyr Cove.
Everyone that passed me along the trail kept saying, “oh you’re so brave and hard-core,” to which I would just giggle not thinking I was doing anything extraordinary except getting out in nature, which seems natural to me!
I got lucky that because my boot slows me down, I came into the clearing just as mom and two cubs had also just arrived. Dave had gone ahead to find our friends and unfortunately missed them. I had just enough time to watch them stand up and look at me, then scurry off behind mom in the trees.
If you look closely in this photo you will see the two cubs at middle, center looking at me from the other side of the creek’s bank.
And here’s mom and mom and a cub to the left in the trees.
I was then joined by Bean, who so sweetly had come after me to see how I was getting along in case I needed help, but sadly the mom and cubs were gone, so we moved on ahead and joined Dave and Happy, checking out the salmon. As we continued further a solo black bear appeared and we spent quite some time watching him fish for salmon.
I was so happy another one showed up, as I had hoped Bean and Happy would get to see a bear before they left, and so they did! Perfect! And wonderful energy with it all for them, as they are branching out into new directions to explore.
All of this took place only several yards away, as we watched from the bridges and platforms, which made it even more special to view them so close in their natural setting.
This guy turned to me and asked, “can you run?” as he looked at my boot. I said, “no.” He replied, “then we’re safe” and laughed. LOL!
Well, I never felt threatened anyway, but did get a giggle out of that. Of course Happy turned to me and said, “I wouldn’t leave you behind if that happened.” Aw!!
Anyway, they were beautiful cinnamon coated bears and truly magnificent to watch. But so were the salmon. Just tons of them, as well as large crawfish, beautiful ducks, and gorgeous Autumn landscapes and lighting that truly made everything magickal.
These are some photos that Bean took with her better camera of the stunning salmon.
I marveled at the symbolism of it all and how perfectly reflective it was for me, once again.
Salmon symbolize returning home to regenerate, overcoming obstacles, end of a cycle and a new start, drive despite challenges to return to their origins (home), creativity, growth, maturity, abundance, enthusiasm, remaining in harmony with Nature’s rhythms rather than fighting them (flowing with the currents beneath the surface), not being deterred by seeming impossible odds, having a strong drive to reproduce in order to feel peace (however this is not just about children, but about anything creative – this runs the gamut from artful masterpieces to the next great novel, one source says), having very strong desires/passions and ability to tirelessly manifest them, enjoying life and sharing those richness with others (Native Americans see them as symbols of wealth, abundance, and providence), and remaining innocent, childlike, light-hearted, and open always. Salmon have shown up now a few times since our Magick Bus RV adventure, which has been a beautiful reflection each time and timely now once again.
Bears symbolize fearless ancient medicine, empowered Sacred Feminine energy and that Divine Mother embodiment, strength, transformative energy, and courage we have within to call upon in order to take action without fear, while remaining grounded and in rhythm with Earth and Nature’s cycles. They remind us of observing ourselves in every moment and self-reflecting, knowing the timing on things and aligning with the “when” and “where” to unfold divinely, teaching us laws of respect and boundaries and strengthening and voicing our own, as well as honoring those around us, and reflecting natural leader abilities within that invite relaxing into and bringing forth in innocent, creatively passionate ways that share the vitality of our own unique self-expression. Bears have been very potent for me also since the Magick Bus, and become near and dear. The last time they showed up, as mentioned, was linked with coming out of hibernation for me with creative rebirthing, which was exactly what happened on every level of my life and what Dave and I have been creating this year, as well as what I have (especially with my book). However, now I’m seeing the bears in this heightened state of nourishing and fattening up for the Winter, which feels perfect to both my book and personal life situations being nurtured, where there will be a turning within to the home and finalizing my book with editing and preparations to take it to the next step during Autumn and Winter.
This brings me to my exciting news that reflects all of this.
Yesterday was a big day for us, as we became the official, very happy owners of our new dream home! All culminating the morning after our bear and salmon encounters on a gorgeous day, as you can see here of a quick snap I took on our drive through Gardnerville to handle business. A morning that included five geese, a hawk, and sweet jackalopes (bunny reindeer) that were reflecting the support at every uncanny turn.
I’ll just share briefly that we’ve spent the last year here in Tahoe really deepening into our desires and dreams, working on building foundations and roots to support all of that, and listening to guidance on everything, which included lots of personal projects we accomplished in rapid speed, and big decisions around anchoring versus a plethora of other ideas that hugely shifted trajectories and timelines.
The expansive, nurturing, and inspiring space we’ve been living in, really helped solidify and clarify everything for us, and with our lives taking big turns, so too did we.
With both our little family growing (to include the magickal Astrid now alongside our kitty babies, Boojum and Sweet Pea), and the dreams we’ve had feeling the need to blossom and not wait anymore on, as well as being met with everything we explored and discovered here about ourselves that Lake Tahoe has, and more so now reflects for us, we felt a new and mirroring home space was calling that would nurture and nourish all of this.
And through countless magickal and synchronous unfoldings (way too much to share), everything aligned us with the perfect home base for all of this.
Our lake view condo will be taken over by a blossoming and amazing, young couple here shortly, as we prepare for our move to our new home on USFS land (United States Forest Service), where we will officially live in the enchanted forest full of Faeries and animals galore! Much magick awaits and will be created, as so many plans are in the works for this space.
To say I’m excited is an understatement, and although we have a very busy 4 months or so ahead of us before we’re fully settled, it is all SO worth it. A dream come true and perfect timing and unfolding in every way.
So yes, I’m feeling that “return to home to regenerate” and ultimately to my origins (both as a Cosmic AND Earth being, but also to Tahoe where everything started for us and where I received message to be long ago – and followed – without ever having been here or knowing what it was like), as well as an ending and beginning that salmon medicine brings, not to mention a definite surge in creativity, growth, harmony, and maturity in our lives all coming from creating things that would seem impossible (something that will continue being a theme for sure). For everything coming, I definitely feel that a strong foundation now is necessary. Whereas before, the need to move energy literally had to take hold in full embodiment of everything in our lives to create the huge momentum and leaps needed. Now things can settle in one regard, as the tree and its roots that will be the supportive foundation for all of the branches I/we will be growing.
And definitely, we’ve/I’ve been listening to those inner rhythms in flow with Nature, to align with everything and knowing just when to make moves and wait patiently, and are setting up our creative cocoons and hibernation caves (home) with everything nurturing and nourishing to our souls so we can continue in the cycle of rebirthing and recreating over and over with all that is in motion in our creative lives, like bear so beautifully shares with her medicine. Those two cubs that stood up and looked right at me, felt so reflective of my deep childlike innocence really coming forth now more than ever, and the playful vitality I feel to create, simply because it is peace for me to do so.
And speaking of childlike innocence, yesterday evening I showed up at an event sporting my bunny dress and magickal crowned rabbit necklace to represent the rabbits I love and adore.
Last night we had the opportunity to attend the sold out TedX event in South Lake Tahoe at Lake Tahoe Community College. Last year’s sold out inaugural event of 100, more than doubled to 250 this year with an incredible lineup of locally-known and world-renowned speakers from here and around the country. The event had food and drinks available during the reception and intermission including vegan wraps! and an after party at The Loft.
Our friend Paul Shapiro (mentioned above) was one of them who took the stage discussing the revolutionary “Clean Meat” –Â also the inspired topic of his forthcoming book.
There were many amazing speakers sharing their insights – all leaders in their own fields. You can check out the visionaries here:
My favorite speaker was photographer, director and Zephyr Cove resident Dewitt Jones who has photographed stories around the world for 20 years with National Geographic, published nine books, and directed two Academy Award-nominated documentaries. He moved me to tears, being a man of my own heart, with his talk that got him the only standing ovation. He so beautifully expressed the perspective of my own life and I felt the deep love in that reflection and mirroring, once again experiencing that full circle and collective connection.Â
Dewitt’s talk explored a mindset that he learned while working for National Geographic, and being out in nature, of celebrating what’s right with the world and not just focusing on what’s wrong with life, although not denying or ignoring any aspect of it, but rather seeing from a different perspective and the wholeness inherent in it all.
I was compelled to thank him after and he gifted me one of his bracelets.Â
It’s that message I want to leave you with, which is one of the foundations of my own life.
Celebrate What’s Right With the World and your life will be enriched.
Portals of Experience Continue to Open
This is my second time living in Lake Tahoe, but truly this last nearly year (will be come October) that we’ve been here has been the most explorative and enriching yet. Not only have we experienced the most epic Winter in the last 40+ years, but have been blessed with incredible, like-minded friends, a wonderful and supportively inspiring home base, welcomed in a new family addition (Astrid), experienced a heap load of magick, and have seen many shifts and transitions anchor in with the closing and opening of new doorways of experience.
I’m/we’re seeing more of this area than we ever have in all the time we’ve lived here so far, and are blown away at the discoveries that will take us years to fully experience…not to mention it’s all different within each season. Like right now we get to enjoy the wildflowers and incredible alpine lakes everywhere gushing with waterfalls and creeks. Other times it is the salmon spawning, the beaches, foraging, crystal-rich areas to discover treasures, water time kayaking or swimming, fall colors, white winterlands, but always plenty of outdoor exercise within every season.
It’s continued to be an interesting journey in observing and playing with the energies all around, as well as within. So much diversity and contrast in experiences and realities right?! None of it wrong, right, bad, good, worse, better…simply choices and possibilities. I do find it easy to hover around energies that don’t match how I feel frequency-wise and increasingly experience clarity with things and greater compassion even if things don’t match. Very refreshing for a Pisces who struggled with this all of her life and not knowing how I could still be a me without compromising the love and connection I feel to everything. I have to repeat…this is the most natural and peacefully balanced I’ve ever been and am always in awe of how that can continue to deepen.
Life here on Earth is truly merging and it feels both grounding, but also Cosmically freeing, while I’m seeing and experiencing it for what it truly is. Perhaps some of you are feeling this too?
We’ve been moving energy quickly and manifesting a ton quickly, which is pretty wild how fast stuff has been happening, but when you’re in the “zone” and following the flow of energy, you definitely do experience that incredible alignment. It’s amazing to look back and see how these processes have shifted over the course of your life for sure with putting into motion the things you’ve learned and doing the work.
But truly it’s been such a gift to experience so much of Lake Tahoe and the outlying areas here. There is SO much beauty and we keep discovering hidden gems all the time – not to mention hidden portals to other realities. Never a dull moment or feeling of not having enough choices and things to do on any level, but mostly it’s the Nature time that infuses my heart with inspiration and expansive love.
The energy abound lately has been so potent and fertile. I can’t tell you how powerful manifestations have been and immediate things unfold that are intended. This month’s energies really lend a hand to that, but in general we really are experiencing an accelerated evolution of potential.
And I’m increasingly experiencing how the things I write about in my new book, manifest in the outside world around me. It’s really a wow-factor and nobody would believe me unless they were right here going through it all alongside me.
During all of this I’ve been seeing how the things I envision and intend, because I’m open to the highest version for the highest good of all to manifest (rather than fixating on how that “should” be) are revealing themselves in expansive ways that embody the essence of it all with greater support and all-encompassing benefits.
The photos shared in this post are captures of some of the energy lately that I’ve been experiencing – truly like activations and initiations into this new version of reality unfolding. There are also photos of some of the awe-inspiring beauty of new areas of exploration – one of which reminded me of my other favorite place in Montana and my experiences there.
Portals are opening everywhere! Are you ready to step into a greater version of you and greater possibilities collectively?
I find that the more flexible and open to entertaining any combination of possibilities, the greater fulfillment I feel and find even more support and interconnected threads ready to make things happen.
Gratitude deepens daily and harmony is being remembered from the origin song seeded within.
You Were Meant to Fly ~ My Moth Friend Update
Just a quick little update on my sweet Moth friend for those of you who were wanting to know what happens.
If you don’t remember this story, here is the background so that you understand the context of this share: Honoring Your Personal Timing ~ Seeing the Moth in Me
Well, in the two days that followed the post she disappeared.
She was no longer on my plants anywhere and didn’t show up in sight somewhere else.
I felt it was a good sign that her wings finally were ready and she had flown. However, that meant she was stuck somewhere inside.
Dave was concerned at first that one of the cats may have gotten her before she flew, but then figured we would see part of her body somewhere close and we didn’t.
I had the sense she was alive and well somewhere.
Last night I discovered where.
Apparently she had gone into the shower, likely because it has a skylight that allows the outdoor natural light in. But I didn’t realize this until I went to turn on the water to get it warm for my shower.
I turned it on and closed the door. Then checked a minute later and I find her fluttering around in the water on the ground. The water had been filling about a half inch to an inch recently because with all of the rain the ground had softened, which had the RV unleveled slightly. We fixed this later, but it had been pouring so much that it made it hard to get out and put wood under the levelers.
Anyway, I immediately cupped my hands and helped her out. If I hadn’t gotten to her, she’d likely have drowned. She fluttered around in my hands trying to dry her wings.
I was just so happy to see her and to know she could now fly.
Poor thing, now going through this and having her wings wet, so that she has to get them dry and strong once again.
I couldn’t put her outside because it was pouring, so I decided to return her to my plants so she could dry overnight.
She didn’t want off of my hand though. She was clinging and wanting to stay with me.
Dave giggled saying, “She knows her momma.”
Finally I did get her onto one of my plants and enclosed the area to keep her safe for the night.
This morning I went to check on her and there she was still on the plant with her wings closed.
She must have been recuperating all night.
I’m just so happy that she can fly, but boy she’s going through a lot this little one.
She does remind me of what my journey has been like too and probably many of yours.
Many challenges, many times of feeling like I’ve been drowning, overcome with emotions, hitting my rock bottom, unsure of the next course of action, but still getting back up, persevering, and willing my way to fly, as I know I was born to do.
As we all are.
As this little Moth is.
Don’t let life’s challenges keep you down. Even when it looks like all hope is gone, there is always a way, a helping hand you can embrace, another perspective or choice you haven’t tried, another path to your wings taking flight.
I decided to reintroduce her to the great outdoors again, feeling that she’s much better off outside in Nature now than she is indoors where she can catch the attention of the cats since she can fly now.
I actually just returned from taking her outside for release.
I put out my hand to my plant and she climbed on. I then went outside and walked over to the closest tree.
I stood there giving her Reiki and she opened her wings to feel the cool air on them.
As she did they began to quickly vibrate, as if she was taking in the vibrations all around, through them, and as Nature reminded every cell within her to awaken to herself.
Earth’s vibrations pulsed through her and she suddenly took to flight, softly fluttering from my hand as she showed me proudly how she could fly.
My heart was joyous.
Then she came to rest on the trunk of the tree. I think she needs time to adjust and so I surrounded her with more Reiki, asked the Faeries to touch her wings with their magick, and asked the tree to protect her.
I will check on her a bit later, but I feel now she is where she’s meant to be and she has gone back to her true Mother – Nature.
