Monday Musings ~ The Writer’s Corner: Hope, Birthing Anew & Birthday Celebration Sale
Today’s Musings are threefold. I’d like to first start off with a short reshare of part of a blog post I wrote over 3 1/2 years ago that feels important again. It speaks to fostering hope and how powerful it can be in your life. I know that many people are experiencing a wide range of things from having some pretty fantastic openings, finally getting over the threshold and starting something new, to experiencing some sudden roadblocks and unexpected changes that are perhaps confusing, frustrating, or disconcerting after feeling like things were moving along well.
While we’re still in Winter, we are in fact closing in on Spring Equinox when daylight will start to increase again and more illumination and growth will take place – basically reminding us that light always returns, new life, beginnings, and seeds of change are at hand.
It speaks to hope.
But wouldn’t it be nice to bring that light and hope with you all year round?
When things get “dark” why is it that we forget all of the experiences where the light shined again in our lives, or how good it felt when we gave ourselves the nurtured opportunity to have fun, explore, be creative, take a break, and recharge?

I shared this once, but want to put it out there again…. I propose we each commit to taking a “Hope Holiday” on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as seems most beneficial to your life and personal experiences.
What does that mean?
It means allowing yourself to hope and dream, creatively engaging your imagination and bringing the music of your heart into your every day, even if just for a couple of minutes of day-dreaming, journaling, or visualizing. Doing this to the extent that you give yourself permission to immerse so fully into that minute or two that your body tingles and sings from your heart with that “becoming” that takes place, as you get lost in your hopes.
This isn’t to deny that you may be experiencing something very dark and restrictive feeling, as that is a valid feeling to allow yourself to explore. But it is a way to actively engage yourself into learning how to make a safe space for your heart’s desires to see the light.
The more you do this, the more that part of you feels supported and begins to expand with your cultivated love, much like a garden.
Your couple of committed minutes of daily “Hope Holiday” journeying may turn into any opportunity in the day you find yourself worrying and going over your usual mental chatter religiously. You’ll soon discover how much more productive you are because your energy is being engaged in a way that can create more of the things you want. And this starts a ripple effect into manifestation.
Small seeds of hope become blossoms of creation.

Hope is a place all to yourself that no one can take away from you. It’s like a self-induced “holiday” you can take at any time, and go anywhere you’d like with it….it’s only limited by your imagination.
It is where you are free to dream and activate your creative potential as a powerful multi-dimensional, creative being.
There are unlimited possibilities because you are an extension of a limitless Source gifted with evolutionary experiences at your will’s choice.

I take many a “Hope Holiday,” but tomorrow being my birthday will have me creating even more space than a few minutes of that for myself.
Tomorrow I turn 46, which in and of itself is just a number, but numerologically does carry its own energy. It will be a different day for me on many levels and I plan to engage in some things that I love and that embody the energy of how I want to walk forth into this new life cycle.
Yesterday I celebrated my rabbit, Joy, who was my birthday gift to myself and from my rabbit, Nestor, 10 years ago. It is also fascinating that parts of the Amethyst Rabbit came home to me, which was connected to both of them, in time to celebrate my birthday too. And, my sweet friend, KC (aka Bean), pointed out that one of the pieces was in a new form of rabbit that looks exactly like Astrid when she stretches out relaxing. That reveal was similar to when I first took home the Amethyst and noticed the very distinct rabbit I had not seen initially. All things confirming what our hearts lead us to.
Lots of bunny love surrounding this time for me and that will lead to the third part of this share today, upcoming shortly.
I always feel a shift with each birthday, but this increasingly is happening the older I get. Things accelerating and many things finally feeling most naturally at peace and in flow.
This year will be a big year of focused work alongside creativity for me and feels like it will be pivotal on many fronts personally, as a union with my life partner, and from a wider scope of how I weave into the collective.
I have taken a break from my book in order to return with fresh perspective, but will be going full time back now after my birthday. It seems to be my focal point this year, feeling this is the year to finalize it. And I’m so grateful I now have abundant rabbit creativity flowing alongside it – my rabbit companions sure know just what I need to support and nurture the harder work I have ahead of me with that.
I’ll likely start sharing more about my book in the coming months, once I solidify more with it.
Although I love my new threefold series of blogs each week, there is chance this may evolve into only Ask Astrid Fridays, as she and I can cover a lot on those days and being that they are much more involved with tuning in, too, they do take a lot to put out there. So, we may expand that day’s blog, as a result and Monday and Wednesdays blogs either will go dormant for a while, or be more sporadic.
I’ll have to see how my schedule unfolds in the next couple of weeks, and will keep you posted.

That leads to the third part of this musing that ties us back into the “Hope Holiday” theme quite literally by sharing one of four new mini rabbit Faery gardens that will be hitting The Magick Rabbit Etsy shop tomorrow.
It’s titled, The Holiday, but in its description you’ll find much of what I shared here at start of this blog, as it embodies that message.
In all, I will have 7 more mini themed worlds to add to the shop – these will be the last in general – but tomorrow you’ll see just 4 of them, as I will be starting on new items I’m excited to share with you soon.
Remember, however, if one of the mini gardens you love gets sold, I can replicate most of them. So, you can just let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
The other 3 new gardens will be in the shop likely by end of this week, or beginning of next. The last three will include a grand finale garden, and two micro mini gardens.
For now, here are the 3 others that will hit tomorrow. In order of photos they’re titled, Spring’s Promise: The Cosmic Egg, The Gift, and Believe.
I think you can kind of feel the theme of these new ones. 🙂
If you haven’t perused The Magick Rabbit yet, I think you might find it enjoyable even if you don’t find yourself purchasing something, as each mini rabbit Faery garden is a storybook world, just like the paintings.
Just looking at the images and then reading the first paragraph of each garden’s description will infuse inspiration and nurturing reminders.
We’ve spent a lot of meaningful time not only creating them with love, but sharing each of their stories with you.
I include either their mini story and/or energy they were created to share with you as daily reminders, mini guardians, or sacred altars.

And as a tie-in with all of this I also would like to announce that the bunnies have inspired a celebration sale that will kick off tomorrow on my birthday – 2/26.
It will be a 3 day sale only 2/26 – 2/28, taking us to the end of February, as a cycle of activation and closure all at once.

Our way of celebrating this new energy cycle the bunnies and I are embarking upon, while also celebrating the same for each of you if you feel drawn to bringing one of the energies of the creations and art into your life.

Winter Solstice Alignments ~ Things Are Shaping Up!
I’ve been immersed in house stuff here in an all-consuming way these days, but am beginning to see the light and space is opening for more. Yesterday a lot of major things came to closure with the house, including the end of a 4 1/2 day stint my mom put in to help me out with the hardest stuff here. We still have a couple of last big projects to finalize and then some last minute tie-ins, but we’re almost there and the days of having several teams of contractors in the house all at once are over. Holding the peace within chaos will now simply settle into pure peace.
And the timing couldn’t be more perfect, as winds started blowing in a little storm last night and this morning we woke to it snowing, perfectly timed to create a wonderland for Winter Solstice tomorrow. Timing all around truly is aligned for Christmas gifts galore and our having some stillness and relaxing for the holiday and New Year.
The seasons remind you of the ever-shifting and flowing cycles of life, change, and potential to honor and make space for. Winter Solstice reminds you of the light that you are, as a gateway of sacred reverence for a “return to light” in general.
I find it perfect that our fireplace is 95% complete, and will be finalized tomorrow on the Solstice…wonderful way to ring in this change of season with the flame of warmth and inner truth.
You can visualize this as well in seeing the light and inner fire of your heart and soul expanding and filling your entire body and emanating out and joining with the light of our Great Central Sun, allowing yourself to take up more space and be who you really are.
This entire home remodeling project definitely mirrors, to me, a support to that – being “me” – and the ending of the old and the onset of the new, as well as that movement inward at this time of year to do anchor in things that will be blossoming soon.
I’m super grateful to my mom who always comes to the rescue to help whenever I have moved over the years. She’s helped with all moves except the one from house to RV – Magick Bus – and back to house after that journey. We always get tons done quickly and inhumanly at times – all the while laughing along the way. We are definitely a two-Faery team that moves mountains! There’s nothing we can’t do.
I’m especially excited because my new office/Faery/Bunny Magick Room is 90% complete, which means I’ll be in action here shortly again – full throttle! Loving how it’s come together and how Astrid’s things are looking. I haven’t introduced her to it yet because I’d like it all complete before that. Plus, her new abode and things are meant as Christmas gifts to her. So the timing should be perfect for the big reveal on that to her too!
I’ll share photos when things are complete. I’m looking forward to getting back to my creative projects and especially full time on my book.
I was able to jump into it twice recently, which felt really good and got Astrid all excited, as she sat by my feet nosing me the whole time and acting as my little helper and guardian to ensure no one bothered me.
She’s been shifting a lot again lately, which is fun to see. Getting super interactive, snuggly, and doing her work moving energy through the house. With my mom here a few days she was also able to connect more with her Grandma, which was sweet so they have a stronger channel of communication between them now.
Reading my story from the Forest Portal felt oh so good. I could sense the energy difference and also how that will help with the editing process for sure. Other than getting our house in shape, my book is the most important project to me.
My loved ones, learning to anchor in more peace and more harmony, communing with Nature, tuning into the Cosmos, and being more and more me are my greatest joys and focuses these days.
That’s a little update here from the Forest Portal and how things are aligning and shaping up for the Solstice, Christmas, and the New Year. We’ll be spending Christmas at my family’s house and I’ll be continuing to finalize and anchor in things here so the New Year will be fresh and fertile for the new.

Surprise Gifts from the Faeries
Every day is a gift, each moment is an adventure unfolding, and every breath is an opportunity for expansion. It’s been an incredible journey with surprises around every corner and most recently, surprises discovered in our own backyard. We haven’t yet moved into our new magickal dream house, but we visit each day to manage remodeling, care for our new trees, and when time allows, explore a bit of our enchanted forest garden. I’d made promises to the Faeries to work with the energy here and in turn they opened the doors for this house to manifest and have sprinkled hidden treasures to uncover along the way.

I’ve already begun to plant some seeds of new in our front yard for the Faeries, which include five daffodil and five iris bulbs that were gifted to me by Faery sis Laura. If all goes well, they’ll be blooming once the snow thaws, bringing enchantment and color to the entrance of our home, lined along the large trees and Manzanita where I felt called to place them. As mentioned, an earth worm showed up while I was doing so, which felt like an affirmation of placement and gratitude.
We’ve been starting to work on a few changes to the area just outside my new office as well, and have been dream journeying with ideas for the yard there that will become a Magick Sanctuary that will at some point include a labyrinth and more. A work in progress for sure and can’t be started until Spring. For now we are focusing on the inside of the house, as truly the yard is a Nature’s work of art already.
We knew this was a magickal space, sitting on the National Forest with only one house to the right that isn’t on top of us, but also aren’t year-round neighbors, however we continue to discover just what the Faeries had in store for us with guiding us here, as we uncover more of their surprise gifts each day.
Today marks seven weeks since my foot fracture, and I’m no longer wearing my healing boot. I’m now able to wear regular supportive shoes and am moving around well. This has enabled me to start doing some easy hikes and walks, which include the beginning of explorations in our forest backyard.
We have an endless circuit of hiking trails out back that lead all over, including connecting to the Tahoe Rim Trail. I have only walked about a mile so far, but in doing so last week, discovered some treasures!
Not only did the Faeries leave raw quartz directly behind the house and along the trail….gorgeous pieces of pink quartz….but we discovered some very cool things about where the house sits, including having views of Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort.
We are exactly smack middle of two year-round flowing creeks, literally just a quarter of a mile in either direction (we clocked it) and about 3-4 minutes walk. What incredible energy that is having flowing water and the magick of these little Water Nymph areas perfect for this Pisces.
Here’s a short clip of one. The other has a bridge over it. This one has a log bridge over it.
Throughout the trail there are beautiful granite outcroppings of large stones that create sacred areas and energy as well. Some are large and others smaller. In some cases create rings or circles, and in other cases are just deliberately placed and have distinct shapes. I didn’t capture all of these in photos, but this is one of the larger areas.
And to our surprise we have very tiny peeks of Lake Tahoe. Not the full, expansive view of our tree house, but indeed open channels and portals connecting her energy with our home, both seen from the deck and back rooms of the house, and also wider openings along the trail just yards out.
This became extra apparent as we were there at sunset and I saw what appeared like two Suns setting. Then I realized the second was actually the Sun reflecting on the water and I could actually see the waves rippling on the surface of the Lake.
They don’t show up in the photos much, but give you a tiny idea. In person, it’s quite magickal.
I love the streaming of water and light through these little doorways, which creates this incredible portal of flowing energy tying in so many elements here that it’s almost beyond words to describe the feeling of. It just feels perfect, aligned, and definitely meant to be, plus creates a lot more mystery, magick, and mischief!
The dances of light that have been present the last few visits at our home have been revealing too and excite me as to all that will continue to reveal itself when we do in fact live here and what will take place and become possible in creating.
Oh what magick we will weave with secret visitors abound!
I love this video of the light in the yard and if you look closely near the railing you’ll see this magickal little white energy flying through the air and following my movement…then disappear.
Gratitude overflows and excitement builds. Yet patience is my constant partner for all that lies ahead and is unfolding step-by-step.
Life continues to be a journey of trust, loving commitment, and continued dreaming…
Lightness & Fluidity Anchoring In a New Spiral of Evolution
As I continue to observe the collective energies, I am also constantly observing my own and both the reflections and contrasts that compliment and synergize the journey unfolding. I’m fascinated at the process and how I’ve been led to shift in ways of incorporating the macro within the micro experience…the wholeness of All That Is residing in the way I integrate and transmute energies as an experience of my own remembering and healing empowerment. I continue to go through shifts in my perspective on so much, which has changed the course I have been on and resulted in complete shifts of the way of life I once knew and committed to, to something altogether different. This has definitely led me to release a lot from my life and to understand the repetitive cycling nature of my focuses that needed to come to full circle closure once and for all.
And as always, these take on forms in the physical, as well as the energetic realms. And I see how rebirthing is a totality of experience that even transforms how I look because of the inner changes that take root. I can look back over the course of my life and just by seeing photos of myself, my physical form, hair colors and styles, clothing, demeanor, facial and eye color shifts, I can tell you the story of what I was embodying within.
I don’t know on the conscious level what I’m doing always when I make these changes, as it seems to be an inner knowing that takes hold without need to understand…they simply begin to take form because I have this strong urging, inspiration, and impulse that says do this! even if I can’t understand fully why or that it seems odd to what I’ve known of myself thus far.
This has been evolving in the last several months with my hair – believed my many Native Americans to be the spirit’s physical manifestation of growth that opens/enhances extrasensory perception and symbolizes connection to all things, as if like tentacles reaching out to the world around us.
Without meaning to, my hair has increased in lightness, as I’ve continued to support the dramatic “silver lining” of it to come through in the physical. This started slowly, but as you can see in the photos, has taken over about 75% of my hair. I still have the dark underlining – symbolic of both light and dark existing together and both a part and separate to each other – but now this halo of lightness pervades.
I’ve never been drawn to light hair for myself really, but something has definitely shifted with that and because of the silver essence, I am feeling at home in it, likely because of the Cosmic reflections/implications and not simply Earth-based ones inherent in it for me.
But symbolically, it also speaks to the rebirthing energy abound – for me, so many others, and the collective at large. There indeed seems to be an identity shift going on to more expansive ways of being and embodiment. I’m noticing it in many people I know and have discussed this with Laura who also is in process of her own shift in this regard – yet to be determined.
Perhaps many of you will identify with this as well and the journey I’m sharing will speak to your own transformations taking root on many levels.
For me, I’ve always been drawn to the dark….hence my dark, black sacred tattoos and for many many years having black hair (my natural is a medium/dark brown, which is the darker areas you see between the silver in the photos)…interestingly my skin also easily browns and can get very dark/even has gone quite black from the sun throughout my life.
I see this as the journey I’ve embarked on in knowing my shadow and being willing to also take on that energy for the collective in reflection to help bring things to the surface. It also speaks to me of the ancient connections, roots, and heavier/intense layers of soul history and within my DNA that I was led on a journey to dig deeply into, research, reclaim and understand in a new way – some of this being a pattern of recycling, but then finally breaking free of it.
And in mirror of the fluidity of life now being experienced and a shift into more lightness and gentle flow with things, I can see very clearly why this lightness has taken over my Crown Chakra.
Light haired – light hearted, as Laura mentioned, which was actually an auto-correct typo in texting with her that made much sense. 😉
That is definitely what I am feeling, as the heaviness has dissipated – even with all of the intensities in the collective right now. Perhaps that would seem odd to feel that, but since change begins with us and collective harmony will be a result of that peace within, I don’t find it surprising.
And yet this lightness is a new revisiting on the spiral of evolution, although exquisitely familiar. It feels infused with something fresh, inspiring, inviting, and full of creative potential.
It has not forgotten its parts.
It knows its wholeness.
And it contains sound seeds of harmonic confluence.
A field of dreams we have entered and reality is yours to dream into Being.
Yet be wary of what you intend to manifest, as it WILL.
I increasingly am seeing how responsible co-creation is of the essence. (something else Laura and I have discussed a lot)
Along with harnessing increasing power and magick, one must be conscious of the ramifications inherent in that experience and its far-reaching effects.
I remind myself constantly about seeing things from as many possible angles and probably potentials, and making sure to incorporate the highest good of all concerned in everything, as well as to be specific as to what I DON’T want to happen in order for my manifestations to take form, just as much as what I would love.
Dream big, but dream responsibly!
“The Illuminator” Magick Crystal Wand
I finally had time to post this commissioned Magick Crystal Wand after a busy time of late and it felt like a perfect one to share as closure to these custom pieces, for now, and the collective energy at large. Standing at exactly 21 inches – the tallest of all to date, but femininely intricate and graceful in its presence – I call this one “The Illuminator”, as it brings to light and clarity the truths within to create alchemy. There is a white feather flame at top that helps one journey through the complex layers and worlds of both Shadow and Light, to transmute them. In some way you could also call it the “Shadow Walker” or “Transmuter” – potent indeed.
I’ll include all the feathers and crystals that have been woven and channeled into this Magick Crystal Wand below, but here are some generals about the wand’s energy.
Although it walks the worlds of both Light and Shadow, overall it carries an essence of lightness and the message that one’s journey can be a graceful one. This wand has the most feathers of any to date I’ve created – 14 total – which mirrors its new guardian who walks with birds always and has many bird spirit guides supporting her journey. She and I mirror many synchronicities with this and share dream journeying with our bird friends and more.
I love the white feather flame at top that really sets the tone of energy for the entire wand being a journey of illumination and carried on the wings of grace. They come together, focusing this energy, at the wand’s top Tibetan Quartz Crystal that very delicately sits atop the natural points of the wood that hold it like delicate Faery fingers.
There is also a Tibetan Quartz down below as well….”as above so below.” They also compliment one another, as the top one is clear throughout except for the darker area (characteristic of a Tibetan Quartz) at the bottom, and the bottom double terminated one is mostly dark with a couple of areas that are light (including its top point).
Both demonstrating that Light and Dark are both present in everything.
I also continue with the theme of “as above so below” with the two Amethyst that sit both at top and bottom – spiritual enlightenment accessed and anchored through both journeys of Light and Dark. The top one has a spiral vortex emanating out in gold wire (the wire of choice used throughout this creation) and the bottom one is criss-crossed with an anchoring “x” of gold wire below.
There are actually 7 spirals down the shaft in total – representing the 7 Charkras – some tiny/small and others larger.
Below the top Amethyst there is then about 3 inches of clear Quartz and Turquoise “rain” I’ve created to mirror the energy of a dream its guardian had about Feather rain, but also to add a mirroring and both Water and Air elements for the integration and transmutation process at the heart of healing.
The energy is then anchored at the bottom with a much larger, triangular Turquoise with large spiral of gold below it.
The wood of this wand is light in color to continue with that “lightness” theme and overall there is much intricacy in the design.
I feel like the wand itself at any moment can take to flight with all of the bird energy, and in general really feels as though you can “rise above” things from a different perspective on the “wings” of its energy.
The hanging Feathers are floating on Robin’s Egg Blue satin cording (to match the Turquoise) wrapped in gold wire.
Another stunning Being I’m honored to have channeled into manifestation.

Feathers:
5 White Goose Feathers at top to create the Feather Flame (supplied by me)– The Goose and its feathers embody loyalty, forging ahead with bravery and confidence, teamwork and comradery, protection, clear communication, determination, dedication, fellowship, fidelity, fertility, the balance of knowing when to lead or follow, compassionate keepers of the community and embody the sacred circle and sanctity of the cycles of life, astute navigation, discernment of life path and choices, teamwork, protection, and committed responsibility. Geese never leave one of their own behind for any reason. They will stay with the sick and injured until they are either well again, or to support them as they transition.
2 Osprey Feathers (1 mostly white with faint touches of tan at top at the front of the Goose Feather Flame and 1 white and brown at the bottom laying on top of the Seagull feather – both supplied by new guardian) – mastering the conscious and unconscious. Osprey are also symbols of the Sun (solar worship), royalty, illumination, visionary power, sovereignty, vigilance, Egyptian symbol of the soul, honing the senses, precise timing, and keen sight to see through illusions and to hunt in the waters of emotion. 3 Seagull Feathers (2 Norwegian Seagull Feathers supplied by its guardian – the big dark and light ones at back – and 1 lovely white and brown mottled one at bottom that I found, under the Osprey Feather) – These feathers bring the winds of new heart freedom, personal authentic power, creative self expression, and joyous new perspective to breathe in, ride, and navigate these constantly fluctuating energy streams with perseverance and vision to more clearly see the opportunity and purpose within everything.
Juvenile Hawk Feather hanging from right on top of Pigeon Feather (both supplied by me) – Awareness, perspective, perseverance, endurance, sharp insight, truth, visionary power, guardianship, strength, initiative, decisiveness, creativity, messenger (often of change), caution, maneuvering, leadership. Hawk’s meaning teaches us to be observant and to pay attention to what we may overlook. This could mean a talent we don’t use, a blessing for which we haven’t expressed gratitude, or a message from the universe. The hawk has keen eyesight, it is about opening our eyes and seeing that which is there to guide us. Hawk awakens vision and inspires us to a creative life purpose.

The “between times,” but also heralds how the physical and spiritual are more rapidly merging with the thinning of veils that arrive with your willingness to see more clearly.

Winter Solstice Reflections
As I sit here watching the snow gently fall, creating magick all around me, I am in gratitude of the cycles and seasons of life that have brought me to this very moment. I’m also in awe of the perfection of this sweetness falling from the heavens like powdered sugar, in perfect creation of what will be a potent and memorable day. This Winter Solstice has been chosen by my beloved Cosmo as the day to spread some of his ashes upon the lake to join in alchemy with Joy’s and Nestor’s, igniting a sacred wave of shifts abound.
Other things are also taking place today and ending/beginning, so I will be reflecting upon and adding energy to the magickal brew a-stirring.
Today marks another new cycle and change of seasons as we welcome in the Winter Solstice (for the Northern Hemisphere and Summer Solstice for the Southern Hemisphere). This brings the end of the old year’s cycle, as we begin anew, and provides a supportive time to make leaps in consciousness by moving within to shine your light, as the light lessens on this shortest day/longest night of the year (or longest day of the year for you Southern Hemisphere folks).
We’ve been continuing to clear in preparation for new and more natural ways of living from our highest and likely you’ve been experiencing heightened awareness of all things in your life through varying ways of experiencing these, relative to each, and coming to feel more self alignment and merging taking place.
This is creating an upsurge of excitement, as you feel the energy field welcoming you into your truth more than ever.
Where ever you are in your journey, is perfect, and likely you have that sense, even if moving through the “ick” still, that there’s something different this time in the experience.
I simply would encourage you to let go, do what ever you can to maintain your own inner balance and harmony so that you can vibrate at your own relaxed and natural personal frequency, and compassionately realize that you are different than everyone else and therefore you only need to exercise your own sovereign free will and lovingly allow them to do the same.
More and more you will be experiencing, embodying, and emanating so much more light, which is not to be feared, but to be celebrated.
Through this Winter Solstice “gateway” you can be mindful of this turn of seasons to be more soul driven and may feel called to take some moments to honor this flowing change of life cycles. Perhaps creating a special sacred space or ritual act to honor the “return of light” that this Solstice is reminding us.
Candles and crystals come to mind when I think of ways you might symbolically create that space, or perhaps simply envisioning and imagining (imagination is a powerful tool) the light and inner fire of your heart and soul expanding and filling your entire body and emanating out and joining with the light of our Great Central Sun, allowing yourself to take up more space and be who you really are.
Winter Solstice provides a supportive time to honor the remembrance of light that you are, for making those leaps in consciousness by moving within to shine your own light, and to “see the light” even when things get dark and you’re unsure of what to do, where to go, or even how to think or feel.
There is so much potential available to each of you and it is up to each individual how you choose to embrace this or not. It’s an opportunity to completely reinvent yourself and your life and to do things more differently than ever before, which will take the courage of being willing to shine your light even if no one else around you is.
A lovely Christmas card I received this year from a beloved friend that reminded me of the little faery ballerina me, alongside a photo of me at 3 years old practicing my ballet poses.
Childhood memories of myself as a ballerina and the passion I expressed through me with dance brings depth to the meaning of today’s “rebirthing of the Light” and life and spirit.
We all have the opportunity to courageously be born again like a seed of light, as we deepen into the stillness of the dark.
There is much hope and promise within remembering the heart of who I am and what was alive within me as a child. Some of what I/we may have forgotten.
There’s an integration that takes place and frees me even more when I reclaim those parts of my essence.
What this means to me is that what ever it is I do take action to bring forth in my life, the little girl within me will be dancing her heart out while doing it, as the dream is the reality I choose to live and nothing less than that.

Celebrate Your Light
This year I’ve been enjoying gifting myself Christmas gifts both in tangible and symbolic form, as gratitude for the courage I’ve embraced to be myself in a world that challenges that and with love for all the dramatic changes I honored and surrendered to when I didn’t know, and still might not fully, what that would create for my life. Celebrating the winding, wild road that has gotten me here and giving myself the peace of heart to just be me.
And as I celebrate my own light, I celebrate yours, as we ignite the sacred spark of being together.
The Shadow of Our Truth ~ We Are Both of the Dark & the Light
We are both of the dark and the light…we are their alchemical transmutation. When we remember and walk responsibly through the shadow of our truth, we recognize and embody the brilliance of our creative power.
We often are focused on searching for the light, and yet the mysterious magnitude and beauty is in walking the recognition of our complexity within the cosmic abyss of our consciousness in totality.
Every time I see amazing displays of light around me and the environment I find myself in, I realize it is only because I am embracing the dance with shadow and understanding its immeasurable potential, that these experiences and appearances are possible.
And in return, they are reflecting that message if in fact we don’t realize this.
It is how we responsibly utilize these energies that becomes the focus and creates the challenge we are here to harness with intentful awareness every step of the way so as not to duplicate recurrences of our past, but to align us with future expansive probabilities through the presence of all-encompassing consciousness now.
