Starting the Week with Inspiration ~ Snow Enchantment Lights Up Our Hearts Here at the Forest Portal
Snow Rabbit Queen Astrid was filled with hoppy joy from the tips of her ears to the ends of her thumpers this morning and Faery mom mirrored the delight with giggles, sparkly eyes, and tickled-to-joy wings.

Astrid is a true snow bunny who has always found Winter Wonderlands to ignite her heart, ever since she first came home to live with us. I always find her looking out the window at the snow and excited to tell us all about it. In fact, this morning she couldn’t wait for us to wake up and peek outside.

She was zooming around our room to get us up this morning and then followed me into the living room and zoomed around some more. While I looked out all the windows she was right at my feet, eager for me to check it all out, and then we celebrated with snuggles.

We were glad we listened to our intuition and took in all the deck furniture for the season yesterday afternoon. The day before was a beautiful, sunshiny Autumn day and we enjoyed lunch on our deck for the last time.
The winds were rolling in fast yesterday, and so after our hike down to the lake, we gathered everything up, including a last harvest of my Garden Tower for Astrid before the storm hit.
I was so surprised that even though everything had gone to sleep early this year with my being unable to tend to things while we were evacuated and then frost nights that had us needing to shut the sprinklers and water spicket off early, that my Garden Tower had a come back of a 1/3 of the herbs on it. Enough for one lucky bunny to have a few days of fresh deliciousness to add to her snow celebrations.
Last night was cozy movie time, as we heard snow hail coming down outside and this morning we find ourselves with our fireplace going.
We woke to three inches of snow at our elevation of 6600 and much more on the mountain tops above.

It’s so beautiful!
And so inspiring!
I was sad that we had missed the first dusting while we were away on our little retreat recently. It wasn’t much the first time at our house, although it stuck around at the south end of town and the upper mountain tops.
Our house and fur baby sitter had sent us a video of the snow coming down, so at least we got to see it. She told us how much the fur babies were enjoying it, especially Astrid who was at her feet watching with her.
I secretly was wishing for more that we’d be able to experience when home….and then we got it.
Hoping we get an early and big Winter this year, as the environment sure needs it and us snow bunnies sure love it. It’s such a gift and with all the droughts, it’s nothing to be taken for granted.
The change of seasons, my being home now more, and having extra time with projects completed means faery baking and cooking kitchen fun begins.
In fact, yesterday before the storm I made a simple little dish with what I had on hand – a peach, pear, apple cobbler that had the house smelling like holiday spices.
It was the perfect warm welcome to the storm, melting my vegan whipped cream upon touch.
We’re looking forward to our first snow walk today, as it kept snowing this morning and the snow isn’t melting away fast like usual.
I find surprises like these and especially nature-created wonders, to be super inspiring. It makes me feel extra productive and motivated when there’s beauty around and I add to it with creative things that I enjoy.
That’s also why my creative work space is decorated as my personal magick Wonderland sanctuary…It inspires me and nurtures my imagination. I have things in it from all four seasons, as I love what each of them does to my senses.

I hope these snowy windows and cozy, comfort and joy feelings (like this bunny latte) find their way into your heart today.
Wishing you a wondrous week of things that inspire you around each corner.
A Different Yet Rich Christmas
This year has been very different for everyone, shifting even the way many of us celebrate the holidays. While distancing became the passing norm, experiences that invited our creativity became the connective new.
Although 2020 dealt a mixed bag of surprises, one of the key themes Dave and I deepened into was how precious and fragile life and every moment is. So finding ways to make the most of everything and seeing only what there was to be grateful for, kept hitting home as the important reminder.
This year saw us sharing online gatherings with friends and family afar that we otherwise never would have had so much time with.
And personally, this year saw me being able to support and connect with so many incredible souls with online classes and events, that otherwise would never have felt possible. This in turn opened me to much more expansive possibilities I once had felt the doors close on. It also helped to raise the vibrations for others that were ready to take the next leap on their journey – and that simultaneously helps the collective.
Portals are becoming more evident as the veils continue lifting. A new doorway of experience is available as the collective shifts into accelerated being. When I’m in nature, I can feel the layers of richness evolving before my eyes and the possibilities stir under the surface.
This year, while challenging for so many, has offered us an incredible fertile ground for new growth and potential. Where we may have felt freedoms infringed upon, we had the ability to deepen into the most important freedoms no one could ever take away from us – and these include the way we choose to create our reality through perception and reflection and how we experience our inner world that no one can master for us, but ourselves.
We also have always had the music of our hearts to listen to, and our imaginations where we can harness creative energy toward manifesting our hopes and dreams. These are gifts of our spirit in body where we are always free to roam and explore.
It’s one reason I feel it’s important to never lose our innocence, because it’s in that purity of curiosity, wonder, and belief, that so much is possible.
This year we have been spending the holidays on our own. It’s been a year of feeling the connection and love, despite not being with others because that is a bond that can’t be broken by distance.
Love transcends all boundaries and I know this very well with the passing of so many who have been the most dearest to me. There truly is no separation within the vortex of our heart bridges.
Usually we’d be at my parents’ home celebrating Christmas, if we aren’t away on travels. This year we are having an intimate holiday instead, which goes with the theme of our year that also included a wedding on our own.
On some level this feels important for something we have yet to see the why’s of, and even if that’s just about anchoring more into our embodiment, essence, empowerment, and new relationship to everything and everyone through the relationship we have nurtured within over 2020, then that is good enough for me.
If it’s simply to know love more through the dance of our own parts merging as one, then this feels rich with possibility for experiencing a more expansive kind of love with all of creation.
Although we are sharing a sweet Christmas at home, I did get to have a wonder-filled visit exploring my parents’ Christmas realm that is the most elaborate of all years yet.
I didn’t photograph everything, but since it’s been kind of a tradition to take you on a journey through my parents’ ever-childlike-hearts that mirror my own, I thought I’d share some peeks into their gingerbread wonderland that can warm anyone’s heart.
The photos you have seen throughout the post so far are of their creative imaginations come to life.
My parents know how to create warmth and magick all throughout the year and it’s no wonder that I have followed in their footsteps with my own sacred space, as you saw in yesterday’s share of my Wonderland room.

The next photos are of my dear Queen Astrid enjoying her Solstice, Christmas Eve, and Christmas surprises, as every Faery Rabbit Queen deserves sparkly fun to tickle her heart too.
And it’s also part of my path to share how every soul is important, has consciousness, intelligence, feelings, personality, and their own purpose in life.
I may not live any kind of conventional life, nor do I have any resemblance to that kind of family or cocreative business partnerships, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
It’s taken me a lifetime to fully embody, in peace and transparency, my human expression of essence. And while this feels like the beginning still, it’s pure harmony to me.
My dear soul mate in rabbit body – Astrid – The Queen of this realm and my heart, keeps me on my toes, centered, focused, and balanced, while helping to channel the work that we do.

Everything I do, create, and move through me is all done with a Magick Rabbit by my side.

“Creating life as a work of art with a Magick Rabbit by my side” isn’t my motto for nothing. It’s the reality of my life. It’s who I am.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This is me in my harmony, heart zone.
And the Winter Solstice and Christmas season is part of that harmony, heart zone…the pieces of me that are most meaningful, find ease and grace during this sparkly and enchanted season of pure potential.
Sending out magickal wishes, sprinkles of pixie dust, and bunny nose twitches of energetic potency and love!
May your hearts grow in depth and size with each embracive breath taken.
Then What to Their Wondering Eyes Should Appear
This magickal Yuletide rendition of one of the most famous Christmas poems has become a favorite of mine. When it was originally shared with me in 2018 by a sweet friend, I did post it here on my blog. Today, I share it again with all of my friends, new and old, to ignite an extra bit of enchantment to stir in your heart as we edge to the end of 2020. The poem speaks to the spirit of the season and reminds us of its true nature and reason. It’s thought to be written by C.C. Williford.
Since Christmas Eve holds a most wondrous place in my heart and happens to be Joy’s birthday – my rabbit companion now a star in the bright sky – I felt to share it today, accompanied by a visual delight of our seasonal lights and simple, nature-inspired decorations here in our cozy mountain home on the forest. I’m also adding photos of the office and creative space I share with Astrid – however these lights are what enchant our room year-round. Hehe! Astrid and I love having wonder as our daily partner.
Wonder is a dear friend who has been with me through thick and thin. I never ever take for granted an encounter or experience no matter how often it happens. Every time the snow falls is the first time. Every time a squirrel runs by is a tender moment. Every time I see a tree, plant, landscape, way the light hits is always a sacred encounter. Every time I come across another being is a remembrance igniting a new depth of love. May wonder wander through life with you, enchanting each moment with possibility.
TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE YULETIDE
Twas the night before Yuletide and all through the glen
Not a creature was stirring, not a fox, not a hen.
A mantle of snow shone brightly that night
As it lay on the ground, reflecting moonlight.
The faeries were nestled all snug in their trees,
Unmindful of flurries and a chilly north breeze.
The elves and the gnomes were down in their burrows,
Sleeping like babes in their soft earthen furrows.
When low! The earth moved with a thunderous quake,
Causing chairs to fall over and dishes to break.
The Little Folk scrambled to get on their feet
Then raced to the river where they usually meet.
“What happened?” they wondered, they questioned, they probed,
As they shivered in night clothes, some bare-armed, some robed.
“What caused the earth’s shudder? What caused her to shiver?”
They all spoke at once as they stood by the river.
Then what to their wondering eyes should appear
But a shining gold light in the shape of a sphere.
It blinked and it twinkled, it winked like an eye,
Then it flew straight up and was lost in the sky.
Before they could murmur, before they could bustle,
There emerged from the crowd, with a swish and a rustle,
A stately old crone with her hand on a cane,
Resplendent in green with a flowing white mane.
As she passed by them the old crone’s perfume,
Smelling of meadows and flowers abloom,
Made each of the fey folk think of the spring
When the earth wakes from slumber and the birds start to sing.
“My name is Gaia,” the old crone proclaimed
in a voice that at once was both wild and tamed,
“I’ve come to remind you, for you seem to forget,
that Yule is the time of re-birth, and yet…”
“I see no hearth fires, hear no music, no bells,
The air isn’t filled with rich fragrant smells
Of baking and roasting, and simmering stews,
Of cider that’s mulled or other hot brews.”
“There aren’t any children at play in the snow,
Or houses lit up by candles’ glow.
Have you forgotten, my children, the fun
Of celebrating the rebirth of the sun?”
She looked at the fey folk, her eyes going round,
As they shuffled their feet and stared at the ground.
Then she smiled the smile that brings light to the day,
“Come, my children,” she said, “Let’s play.”
They gathered the mistletoe, gathered the holly,
Threw off the drab and drew on the jolly.
They lit a big bonfire, and they danced and they sang.
They brought out the bells and clapped when they rang.
They strung lights on the trees, and bows, oh so merry,
In colors of cranberry, bayberry, cherry.
They built giant snowmen and adorned them with hats,
Then surrounded them with snow birds, and snow cats and bats.
Then just before dawn, at the end of their fest,
Before they went homeward to seek out their rest,
The fey folk they gathered ‘round their favorite oak tree
And welcomed the sun ‘neath the tree’s finery.
They were just reaching home when it suddenly came,
The gold light returned like an arrow-shot flame.
It lit on the tree top where they could see from afar
The golden-like sphere turned into a star.
The old crone just smiled at the beautiful sight,
“Happy Yuletide, my children,” she whispered. “Good night.”
Taking a Soulful Time Out

We’ve had on and off good, moderate, to not so great smoky air days up in the Tahoe basin since the fires in the west started, which has created a back and forth pendulum experience of heavy outdoor exercise, to light exercise, to indoor-only exercise. It’s been reflective of busier days and the need to focus on getting things done when unable to venture outdoors, so it’s always perfect. However, we’ve been craving a little getaway, since we haven’t been anywhere since the beginning of the year and especially because of the fuller days and wanting to breathe in and enjoy as much of the now and life while we can, as well as nature’s gifts as possible. Plus, I’ve learned that I can give even more when I listen to my needs and nurture them as well.
And even though I had bookending online Reiki classes I was/am teaching between the 4th and 11th, it felt exactly why a time-out would be supportive. Including the sense I have that everyone in the group classes has a lot of energetic changes they’re shouldering and responding to, so I am adjusting to meet and integrate them the best I can.
Sometimes we think we couldn’t possibly create the space and time for what we need, but that’s exactly when we need it the most.
I’ve shared this before, but it feels worth sharing again:
Many believe that in order to have fulfillment or achieve certain goals that that entails working harder and keeping your nose to the grind.
But rather than push forward, sometimes the best thing is to just take a spontaneous break, rest, do something self-nurturing, commune with Nature…stop forcing and start being.
When you think you “should” be doing more, the more you really need is likely self love and balance. This will invigorate, harmonize, inspire, and draw to you more of what is really for your highest good.
It is the moments where you break out of the mold, and tune in to the nature of you, that the greater ease and magick happens.
“If your heart needs a vacation, take it somewhere serene. If your spirit needs nourishment, feed it well. If your soul needs a boost, surround it with joy. If your body needs rest…then rest. If you need a new direction, pull out your own life map and simply enjoy the ride. And along the way, keep your eyes and soul open, for you never know what you may find.” ~Jacque Bliss

The Pisces me loves water, and Dave being a water sign as well is why we live by so many lakes, creeks, ponds, and rivers, including majestic Lake Tahoe, which is like the ocean itself in both vastness and energy.
But every now and then, a little oceanside immersion does the body and spirit good. I’m grateful that a Pacific Ocean getaway is within only a few hours drive, so we can dip in and out as guided.

We weren’t sure where we’d be headed to this week, since the air quality on the west isn’t great again in nearly every one-day drivable direction. But we found an opening the morning we left with full-week clear air forecasts and have enjoyed the fresh salty air and forest variety since.

Upon landing we were led to an inexpensive hotel just three minutes walk to the beach, wharf, waterfront cliff walks and within walking distance to conveniences including natural food stores and vegan eats for take out or outdoor eating to suit our intermittent fasting lifestyle and safety protocols.
Hearing the ocean and sealions every morning and evening has been like a lullaby coddling the soul. Days full of immersive and extensive miles (10-15) hiking, walking and biking while taking in the oceanside and moist faery forest realm scents have made for luxuriating sleep-filled nights and carefree days.

And while we have tons of forest by us, the change of scenery exploring the Redwood and Oak tree rich enchantment, alongside plentiful varieties including Eucalyptus, and moss, fern, and ivy-enriched Elemental-filled worlds were a sweet change that welcomed us warmly. Then add all the Autumn feels and you get a wonderland of comfort and joy.

Plus, with it being off-season, we had mysterious, Devic Kingdom rich trails all to ourselves with many mystical eyes that we could feel upon us. And even though a rustle in the leaves sometimes was a forest creature peeking at us, like this pair of deer, it was not always an animal stirring, that’s for sure.

Our first full day combined both forest and ocean abundant miles of enrichment – the perfect way to balance and acquaint to the energies.

The forest floor covered in fallen colored leaves and the scent of musky freshness washed over me with welcome, as the ancient Redwood giants of the world and the Oak wisdom keepers whispered pieces of the Great Mystery.

It was experienced like a deep activation in my root chakra, which in fact induced slight tailbone aches that I get when something ancient or dna-connected is transforming.

Alongside timely feather gifts, magickal train whistles (I love trains!), a flock of wild turkeys

(pictured is the largest of them that was guarding – I shared a cool video of the flock on Instagram) foraging in the forest, tree portals galore, evidence of forest creatures having passed

through recently, mystical and even spooky fun deep realms, fuzzy black

and warm red caterpillars, tree gifts, and on later days a dead raven, abundant cliffside farmland including a Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin pumpkin patch, and a secret area of the last batch of late, wild blackberries…it’s all had the perfect hints and epitome of October essence you dream of.

And it all made for the perfect welcome into this different realm.

There are days when the magick is so tangible that the Otherworld becomes the only world – and the days this week have definitely been just that. I felt my essence alive and receiving a rekindled boost.

And equally activating were the majestic cliffs and natural coastal formations, while ocean life swam and flew all around us.

That ancient Lemurian essence gently knocking the soul pieces awake, while The Fae tickled my roots in other ways, infused with a little Gaelic twist.

Connection to everything is a given whether we are aware of it or not. When I’m in different environments, it’s ones of the things I notice right away – how the tapestry is woven between me and all things regardless of placing me in a different world for the moment.

I take notice of the reflections and how they show up. And I feel my heart beat as one with life around me.

Days were filled with energy in motion, as we immersed in several outdoor activities a day to enjoy the outdoors and create well being through body integration of moving energy.
“Keeping your body healthy is an expression of gratitude to the whole cosmos – the trees, the clouds, everything.” ~Thich Nhat Hanh

One of our days included miles of gorgeous and fun single track bike trails riding along the cliffs’ edge – my favorite biking trail ever that I mentioned to Dave was like a Disneyland ride. It moves along like a snake and has enough easier to moderate elements to add a weeeee and suspense effect.

Below, water crashing on secluded beaches and natural rock formations, with colonies of sealions (you can see in the photos) and sea birds calling out.

The path wove along beautiful vistas of trees, brush, over train tracks, through abundant Autumn

farm fields of gorgeous veggies (like the artichokes and brussels sprouts pictured), and included that pumpkin patch and surprise late patch of wild berries I mentioned, as seen above. It was quite the adventure.

Pelicans, seagulls, egrets, and cormorants would glide next to us as we moved along the path with even a hawk soaring low with purposeful unison. Hawk seemed to follow us from our mountain home to the ocean, as she is a strong spirit guide for me and us – specifically red tailed hawk on this trip. This is where I found the transitioned raven – which felt meaningful with us approaching the time of thinnest veils between worlds.
We loved the bike trail so much we returned a second time and while I came across the dead raven again, a very alive raven was waiting for me.

He was huge and sat there very deliberately, wanting me to stop and come closer. He was making an interesting kind of clucking combined with an almost regurgitating sound and continued until I decided to continue on. Then he took off in unison with me, soaring over the ocean.
Two more deer caught my attention on this second bike trip too. They were grazing at the edge of the beach not far from several different flocks of large birds. One of which created a procession, marching in a single file line toward a back bay area.
You can see the beginning of that line of birds in the sand to the right of the deer below.

It’s a very surreal bike ride and as you glide along you feel the animals, wind, and waves all around, moving together as one.
Time stood still, yet in connective motion and shared feeling of heart and soul liberation despite human body frameworks we inhabit.

Every day had me discovering little treasures of divine alignment. Every time I would say this area feels like such and such bird lives here and that I’d love to find a feather awaiting, it would be. Each day held several feather gifts from a variety of birds (some of which I’m not sure of their origin, but some include hawk, owl, and raven), usually in pairs of two at a time directly after I stated an intent. These are a few of the feather finds pictured above. Dave says I am the feather master and have a hawk eye when it comes to finding them. 🙂

Rather than go into any more details of what this little side-detour has initiated, I’ll just share the energy of my favorite photos and some of the incredible vistas, sense-filled experiences, messengers, treasures, and sign posts of the journey at hand. You may get a sense of things from them alone, as well as your own activation or inspired guidance.
All of that, alongside the ocean herself and all that she reflects – unexplored depths, unknowns, deep hidden treasures for the courageous explorers of shadowy caverns and murky emotional/subconscious waters, etc. point to an unearthing of expanse yet to discover and integrate.
It also speaks to this layer of deep emotional patterns that is key for us to be aware of and integrate – much of why we are seeing and experiencing triggers out in the world right now is to help with this.
There were also a couple of eerie door-knockers and wake-up close calls right in the beginning of this adventure to help “crack” open and elevate adrenalin response into an even higher level of awareness, drive home the need for staying clear of “other’s” energies and projections, strengthen boundaries, continue to balance and ground, stay open to change, listen to and trust guidance, and remain in my heart despite what’s going on around me.

Definitely feels like a mini rebirthing continues similar to, but not as dramatic as, four years ago during Magick Bus times and am grateful always for the divine protection, guidance, and cosmic flow of love that streams through.
It’s like a new version of me/us is in preparation and process, just like the caterpillars I was seeing in warm red/rust and black – correlating to that root chakra activation. The woolly bear caterpillars we have at home are black and gold, so the color shift feels significant in focusing at the bottom root of things and makes sense given the collective energies.
There was a lot of focus around the lower chakra colors on this trip in reds, rusts, oranges, and yellows – mirroring the beautiful fall leaves lining every trail and the messengers that drew my attention, including Red Tailed Hawk and the gorgeous wild turkeys.
I also saw a beautiful Autumn-dressed moth in gorgeous brown, orange, and black wings on the golden fields between the faery forests we hiked. Her orange eyes stood out to me, outlined and dotted in black.

And later I found a perfect butterfly mussel shell on the beach with gorgeous, iridescent blue and pearly coloring and a darker spot on each wing like the eyes I saw on the stunning moth. The butterfly and moth symbolism of transformation and rebirth speaking loudly. It also doubles as the heart of the ocean with the reflection of how much more we can exercise our heart muscles to open wider and deeper.

What also kept showing up, seemingly in reflection to my bright sunflower yellow bathing suit I brought with me (with peace signs, hearts, stars and bunnies on it of course), despite it being Autumn, was yellow flowers around every corner. I saw so many, but these were a few of my favs.

They were joyously speaking to me of joy, new life, and hope.
I know it can be hard to keep up the hope in the face of what seems like constant adversity, but I can tell you from experience, which I likely will elaborate more on down the road, that I’ve gone through several chronic life experiences, conditions, debilitating setbacks, and nearly devastating-to-me hardships that lasted years on end, but they did all have a silver lining that eventually enveloped me in the light at the end of the dark tunnel.

It’s not always easy to see the way out and it’s not always easy to even give ourselves a way out, but the possibility is always there. Being softer on ourselves and finding more ways to love what IS and who we ARE regardless of any specific result, is a door opener.
Sometimes it’s not so much about healing or perfecting an outcome, but about surrendering to what’s showing up as the experience it is, outside of any judgments we place upon it.
And sometimes we also just need to take a soulful time out, even if that simply is a break from the norm to explore the adventure of where letting go might lead.

That could simply be an adventure of our imagination, as there truly is no separation between what is perceived and felt. The more vivid our world we create in our hearts and minds, the more real and fulfilling it will be.
When I can’t physically get away or do something I would like to, I do it anyway.
I do imagination well and so can you.
And if you have a challenge with envisioning magickal realms or inspiring beauty and nature adventures, I hope that the photos and expressions I share can help you to get there.

The Stuff Faery Tales Are Made Of
Faery tales embody the simple and complex at the same time and are a way to communicate truths through wonder and to bring magick to the child within who holds the keys to alchemy. Faery tales, in my book, do matter and I have made it a focus to bring my own version of them to life in one way or another, as I believe there is an unseen world where other realities exist and are available to experience here and now. What we discover is how our imagination is the doorway to live the enchantment that exists, as the essence of the universe at large.
Faery tales journey us through challenges, fears, and dangers, while revealing that things aren’t always as they seem and connecting us with our deepest desires through transformational adventures.
I’ve definitely experienced all of this and find myself with a better understanding of my life through discovery of spiritual insights uncovered along the twists and turns that revealed the fantastical as real.
So, do I believe in Faery tales?
Indeed I do and I believe we are all living and creating one – each our own – with shared themes playing out creatively across the collective.
Where things are unclear and hard to understand, I believe magick explains the why’s. After all, we are the greatest miracle embodied, and it’s hard to imagine we aren’t living magickal lives because of that. I do believe a wizard lies within each of us to remember.
And although my life may look or seem more Faery tale-like now, I assure you that all the tragedy, so-called villains, brushes with death, and character arcs that truly make the full gamut of a true Faery tale, have been journeyed through more than their fair share along my adventures in humanity on Earth. And even those experiences were filled with the miraculous and magickal, despite the less than desired ideals we gravitate toward because, after all, everything is part of the divine and sacred oneness that we are.
This is the inner journey of alchemy – some call it the hero’s or heroine’s journey – Deepak Chopra calls it “The Way of the Wizard,” sharing my own feeling on the magickal you, you’ve forgotten that you are.
It’s become more obvious to me, how I’m consciously creating a reality that breathes of Faery tales and whispers of enchantment, which has included the duality that every tale travels through.
And while the villains and tragedies are no longer the focal point of my story, I still get the opportunity to live out the actualization of what I’ve learned and discovered along the way in how I process and maintain my Faery tale peace within the collective kingdom at large – invoking more of the wizard within to step forth so I may see through her eyes of trust and experience the oneness of my own being – the end becoming the beginning.
Saturday felt like another layer added to my Faery tale, and as you can see in the photos of me in the forest, I was feeling the magick indeed.
Something about wearing this gown was very shifting and we decided to capture a photo in our backyard forest before heading out. So, I walked out barefoot and these two photos were taken in the two minutes we had to spare before leaving.
When I saw the photo at the end of this post, I noted that difference I felt, coming through in the visual of embodiment. I did, in fact, feel the totality of my Faery tale and this additional character arc that is taking me on a new beginning from a naturally culminating end.
It was my parent’s 50th golden anniversary, which is a Faery tale story and milestone, in and of itself, and I felt called to wear a long gown that featured a giraffe couple – perfect for this celebration with their gentleness of spirit, beauty, gracefulness, elegance, and tenderness. I’m so grateful to have them as parents and feel blessed to be able to witness these years their love has been a guiding force in our lives.
They have definitely been living their full gamut Faery tale that all began once upon a time when a young, beautiful girl living in an old village of cobbled streets nestled at the foot of a castle in southern France was sent off to college in England by her poor family where she met her Italian prince charming from Hoboken, New Jersey who was sent overseas by his working-class family to complete his education too.
The rest is history.
They are true twin souls journeying the Cosmos together eternally, as this photo so perfectly captures.
I haven’t followed in their exact footsteps for sure, but the foundation they created has been a stabilizing and guiding factor for all that my spirit had in mind for me.
Perhaps it’s because I step out in my own version of Faery tale shoes. 😉
Can you say bunny love? (Despite my giraffe gown, I stay true to my rabbit roots)
And every morning I’m greeted by this enchanted Forest Portal we live on, and an enchanted office named Wonderland, with an extraordinarily enchanted bunny named Astrid, awaiting me.
While I do many mundane, seemingly unextraordinary things each day, they are made possible because of the miracle body I live in, and enhanced by the magickal surroundings I’ve dreamed up and created for myself.
I continue to watch my office evolve into more and more of the whimsical imagination within my child heart and can’t tell you how happy I feel and supported by all of the energies and beings that inhabit it with Astrid and me.
Every single thing has meaning, purpose, and carries a specific frequency of energy that speaks to the Faery tale story of my life and every experience I’ve had or am creating from the “future” backwards.
It is the 45 year old, adult version of my inner child, revered and cherished. And it is from this place of whimsy embodied that I dream up the new and bring my book and any other dreams alive.
I don’t know what the future holds with anything. I just know that I’ll live fully every interesting twist to the path in the forest, where ever they may lead. It’s my Faery tale to create and so it is that I will!
And Faery tales wouldn’t be complete without a Faery wand!
Meet Harmony.
I recently had the opportunity to channel a new Mystery Magick Crystal Wand for a sweet and magickal spirit in Romania, and this is what came through.
Harmony is such a pure and, of course, harmonious embodiment of cosmic love, empowerment, transformation, self-awareness, creative birthing, and bringing forth gifts of the heart for humanity.
This is the only wand I’ve created outside in Nature. I created half of it while on the shore of Fallen Leaf Lake – the birth place of its beautiful wood branch. And the forest and waters there infused it with their song. I then completed the rest on the forest and garden of our home.
It’s quite a unique wand with a Triple Goddess Lemurian Phantom Quartz as a point! Woah! Can you say wow?! I had no idea that the crystal choosing to be the focal point had all of this going on until I looked and felt deeper into it.
It is a 5-sided Isis crystal as well and with three faces having 5 sides, we get that Triple Goddess effect. It actually has only 3 faces, which is unusual, as the other three triangular sides do not create faces, but simply create triangular points.
And you can see the phantom very clearly. A phantom looks like another crystal inside mirroring the shape, but ethereal (white or colored material – in this case gray). These phantoms provide indication of the experiences and transformations of the crystal’s evolution, represent the many phases of life you experience in a lifetime, helps to break through limitations, and grow beyond fear and blocks. They also help bring humanity together to support the planet.
Then along the shaft we have 3 Super Seven crystals that are super magickal little worlds of their own, one double terminated Rose Quartz, and one double terminated Chevron Amethyst, as you can see in these photos at the lake just after I completed that phase of the creation.
Super Seven creates a powerhouse of healing crystal energy to the wand’s embodiment bringing together the seven stones within it in combination with the other three types of crystals found on this creation. It can assist in all endeavors and helps to bring conscious awareness to the most challenging things that have been hidden or repressed within you. It is very protective and enhances psychic energies, while being energizing and expansive.
Rose Quartz creates the wand’s embodiment and focus of universal, unconditional love and helps restore harmony and trust, balances and opens the heart chakra, promotes all levels of love including self-love, brings calm and peace to healing, and encourages forgiveness and self-worth.
Chevron Amethyst creates the wand’s embodiment of peace, inner strength and courage, promotes self-discovery, helps remove resistance to change and helping oneself, dissipates negative energies, builds trust in intuition, cleanses, supports meditation and crown chakra illumination, amplifies energies for manifestation, and helps diminish potential addictive tendencies and recovery of any present addictions.
All entwined with rose gold wire enhanced by rose satin cord (that creates little rosettes throughout where knots are needed), and then anchored with two larger and perfect, darker twin Goose feathers, with one pure white Goose feather at center of the two – all silky and luminescent in quality.
The Goose and its feathers embody loyalty, forging ahead with bravery and confidence, teamwork and comradery, protection, clear communication, determination, dedication, fellowship, fidelity, fertility, the balance of knowing when to lead or follow, compassionate keepers of the community and embody the sacred circle and sanctity of the cycles of life, astute navigation, discernment of life path and choices, teamwork, protection, and committed responsibility. Geese never leave one of their own behind for any reason. They will stay with the sick and injured until they are either well again, or to support them as they transition.
The twin energy of the two larger Goose feathers brings together that which is within, merged, so that that without will reflect this integration and harmony. The white feather is the transmutational bridge that integrates it all with grace and purity. I have the white feather anchored strongly at center, while the two twin feathers are free flowing to the sides.
They ask you to remember your origins, to trust your intuition, communicate your needs and vulnerabilities, and honor and protect what is most of value.
Having a wand is a perfect and active way to focus energies while also a way of waving magick infusions into everything you are creating.
It was the perfect project for me to channel right now during my in-between book journey while I work on preparing the next phases after my editor returns it to me. It helps me to percolate the energies and keep momentum, as I want to preserve that enchantment and creative imagination to be ready for the leap to come. This is one of the things that has kept that going.
And in the meantime, I continue to imagine with great clarity, dream big, surround myself with everything that speaks to my essence, imbibe the frequencies I intend for the story of life I’m creating, and live as boldly and courageously as possible, as the character of my own Faery tale.
There’s definitely been an increased awareness around waking dreams and seeing how every part of the journey is a part of the creative story being woven.
We are the story tellers and story keepers of life unfolding. Faery tales have many twists and turns and are filled with imagination creating the embodiment of experiences that encompass the alchemy of you.
Everyday I Fall In Love A Little Bit More
Living here is such an incredible reminder of what is possible in terms of creating and manifesting reflections of my heart’s desires and having the peace I feel within, mirrored to me. When I first saw this house, despite knowing we would be doing a complete internal demolish and remodel, I knew the footprint, its energy, the layout, and the essence of the land here was meant for us. I always felt the end result and not the process and the Faeries kept reiterating this to me with signs, messages, and to continue to trust even when challenges arose. They told me to be patient and they would handle the details, which they did and have.
Although we’re still in remodeling mode, the major work is starting to wind down and we’re beginning to see the fruits of our labor come together.
This includes the magick of the forest land we sit on and our expansive forest backyard.
Yesterday our contractors left early so we had opportunity just before sunset to do a short hike out back. All of the photos you see here are of this trail we took from our home.
We have a whole grid work of hiking/biking trails right off our deck and yesterday we discovered a new one, which was this big loop that takes us through the forest, across a creek, along it, then through meadows, and back into the woods and along a second creek that then returns us home.
It was gorgeous and the light of the day had an aura of golden glow that just lit everything up with enchantment.
Soon this whole area will be covered in thick blankets of snow and we’ll be able to wander to our heart’s content on snow shoes. Dave intends to try out cross country skiing too, which will be perfect here as well.
To have this as our backyard is just incredible. I would say “pinch me,” but I know I’m not dreaming.
It’s taken me nearly 45 years of my life to get here, but it’s been worth the work and wait. Couldn’t have happened at a better time and goes again to show you that all things have their divine alignments, as now is when this all means the most to me and supports the next phase of life I’m entering.
Wonderland Delight ~ Equinox Enchantment
On this doorway between Summer and Autumn, I’m celebrating all of it AND Winter! Yes, just as I suspected (and just may have had my own little additional hand in with Jack Frost and the Faeries), the snow began to fall right after I completed my book and then continued yesterday on and off, and all through the night (that has me singing my fav from Cyndi Lauper now…All through the night….). This left an incredible, fresh wonderland this morning for me to wake to.
But that was preceded by an awe-inspiring sunset last night too, which had me in “ooo’s and ahhh’s” over and over. It felt like the light and portal I was watching before me, was taking place inside my heart and spirit.
Even the magickal Astrid was giddy with delight at her very first snow, running all around the rooms like a little speed racer this morning. I SO enjoyed watching her look out the window at the snow – a Faery tale image come true. This was her last evening looking out at the new-fallen snow.
And then this morning with the glowing sun beginning to light this new world in front of her like a warm Cosmic candle.
She is so much like a snowshoe hare to me, I could imagine her out in it, and turning to white with the touch of her silver toes to the snow beneath her.
She also reminds me of a harp seal. This photo is from yesterday, as she laid all relaxed and full of joy from the vision of snow. She takes on so many forms, but this photo captures her harp seal imitation, as I often call her. So perfect for the wintery snow scene… Flippers and all, which mom would likely do better with too, hehe!!
And this is our picture window that is like a portal to me into another world.
I watched the sun rise over the snow blanketed vista, this morning, creating cotton candy pink clouds and light. Then clouds danced across the Lake’s surface like steam rising and geese began to fly.
Just incredible.
I even put my one bare foot in the snow on the deck for the first time and hobbled my way with my healing boot on the other across to the banister to take it all in.
Enchantment ran through me and tickled my heart with delight.
And as the pink clouds dispersed, everything turned to white and icy blue in the full light of morning. The clouds continued to dance and glide across the water like the world was upside down and the lake became the sky.
As above, so below.
I hope you enjoy these photos shared from this magickal portal to your own heart.
Field of Stardust Dreams
Cosmic puffs of dandelions consumed me in wondrous inspiration.
Like whirling dervishes of eternal magick, they enchanted me into the dance.
The portal to a field of stardust dreams was opened and enchanting mysteries invoked alchemy within.
A rich truth was awakened without need to understand.
Any wish I had, I could command.
Welcome back the Faeries giggled.
