New Moon Rainbow Magick ~ Live in the Moment

On yesterday’s New Moon we seized the moment and went on one of our favorite bike rides, which we missed doing this summer, due to the smoke and fires.

Despite forecasts of 40% showers where we were headed, the morning sunshine welcomed us and we decided that even a little bit of rain would be refreshing and not worth dropping our inspiration to enjoy the day anyway, and get some fresh air and healthy exercise in.

We modified our 43 mile ride to a 24 mile ride and the above and below photos were just as we approached our starting point.

We were gifted a gorgeous day, no rain, the trails mostly deserted with the least number of people we’ve ever seen here, and a couple of rainbows at each end of the lake.

The first one, near the start of the drive to our destination, was just a prelude hint to the full one we saw later. By the time we snapped a photo though, its full color range had already faded. Not to worry, because the other end of the lake had the full surprise awaiting us!

It was obvious that the rain forecast had come earlier than predicted, leaving us with rainbows, autumn splendor, and sunshiny serenity.

We enjoyed lake and river vistas, small rolling cascades, fall colors, bridges and sweeping mountain landscapes all along our ride.

And the best part was the peace and silence, with only nature music to accompany us.

The message always seems to be clear.

Don’t put off what you can do today, as tomorrow isn’t promised.

Animal Medicine ~ Nature Guidance for Conscious Evolution

One message that always reiterates and was clearly evident on my retreat time away – nature is where I thrive and belong. Since I first arrived on Earth this time around, the animals were always there to comfort and guide me. This is actually a soul history pattern for so many of my lives in this realm. Whether conditioning grabbed hold around me at any point in life, the whispers of the animal kingdom never stopped calling me back. Their language is the language of my heart, where truth resides alone. They helped remind me of who I really was – the nature of me – and how to organically unfold the petals of that Cosmic blossom here on Earth. In essence, they have always reflected evolutionary and harmonious alignment and how to be with peace as the center of my compass. The reason being because they match my wild heart’s innocence.

So while I’m keeping most of my time away to myself and Dave, I did feel guided to share the animal messengers that showed up to surround me in their medicine and serve as confirmation of alignment – ultimately adding activational inspiration to the path ahead that I’m leaning into creating anew.

This being because I know the power of collective symbolism and I feel that sharing our individual experiences can be beneficial. Also because I feel that nature and the animals are wisdom keepers of organic being and the closest thing to pure energy flow that can provide us invaluable pages of answers to the many questions running through us.

To reiterate past shares just briefly, I refrain from labeling things higher, lower, better, worse, positive or negative to describe paths across the board because they feel to create a definitive right or wrong simply by implication of their meaning. And in using these phrases we unknowingly can taint, manipulate and limit someone’s perspective, rather than support a widening perspective or openness of heart.

Simply put, there’s choice and what is your heart’s truth. If you choose from awareness of your intuitive heart resonance, then that is the most valuable gauge you’ll have. Even with splits and dramatic contrasts to what’s unfolding on Earth there’s still that choice alone to make, no matter the path you choose. The only thing that makes a difference is if you desire to make choices free of outside interference, then you move into personal awareness, which puts the focus on being present to your inner world’s response to things and not what others are doing or saying at you, no matter what group they belong to. And we, of course, have choice whether or not to be present in the first place as well, which is also perfect.

I can fully admit that I haven’t always been present in my life, or at least didn’t want to recognize what was presently before me. I’m grateful I choose to experience consistent presence now and it is because of this supporting greater attunement to frequencies, elements, and vibrations that I experience what seems like magick. My awareness fine tunes all my senses in ways that I feel I become much like an animal myself with extreme clarity of vision, sense of navigation and environmental awareness, telepathic communication, and more. And this is available to all of us.

I believe that’s a big part of why I find or encounter things the way I do. The other part has to do with my soul signature. Curiosity underscores the experience so that I’m open to any message or reflection the encounter imparts.

I’m steering more and more away from sharing the symbolism of things, as it’s very easy these days to research that online about specific animals or other symbols that show up, but more so it’s to encourage each of us to find our own way and messages from things reflected to us. Also to support trusting our intuition. I think you can likely draw forth some of what these meant for me, if you are familiar with these animals even in the most simple of ways. And in your own life, I also know you can draw from an experience of seeing a particular animal, element of nature, or something that catches your eye, attention, or heart in a different way, what meaning it might have for you at that moment, or what answer or message it is mirroring for what you’re currently experiencing or have been wondering about in life.

For this reason, I am moved to simply sharing these encounters and sightings as my own thread in the collective tapestry. They were particularly meaningful for my own conscious evolution at this time in my life and being that some of them were extremely rare, made them that much more potent. The timing of how and when they showed up also spoke volumes.

I do feel that nature is our closest ally right now in supporting each of us toward more of our own authenticity, empowerment, and heart communication. I feel that development of our senses and awareness, overall, can be enhanced by time in and with nature. I believe our physical well being and immune systems can be strengthened and experienced with greater peace and grace by time in and with nature. I believe clarity of connection with our intuitive messaging systems and with the Cosmos at large can be opened by time in and with nature. I believe hope, inspiration, and creative flow can be nurtured by time in and with nature. I believe our capacity for kindness, tenderness, vulnerability, compassion and nurturing can be nurtured itself by time in and with nature.

Nature has the natural ingredients to support conscious evolution on an individual and collective level if we open ourselves to her. And the best thing is, she’s free and she welcomes you with open arms no matter who you are or where you come from.

From micro to macro, nature shows us daily alchemy at work and how we each have the innate ability as alchemists by nature of being as well.

Our retreat time away began enchanting from the get-go and every single day was no exception. In fact, on the day we first embarked, we got a send off from the biggest herd of wild horses we’ve ever seen – including little foals – and a bald eagle majestically gazing out on the herd and us from a tree.

Whether it was multiple, daily animal encounters or gifts, nature and I were in sacred communion the whole way.

I already mentioned the abundance of wild turkey feathers, which were literally a daily discovery in the most hidden of places that are almost unbelievable I could “see,” as well as the two naturally shed, complimentary deer antlers in separate places miles apart that were also nearly undetectable on the forest floor covered in branches, twigs, and Autumn leaves.

Every single day we’d see multiple deer (most of the time in small groups with occasional single sightings like these), morning and evening, and nearly everyday we’d see wild turkey.

From grazing to curled up and resting, playing with each other to leaping gracefully with ease across the trail, the deer were prancing into our lives with their gentle and innocent presence. And two turkey flocks would sweetly gobble along the outskirts of forests and homesteads with curious, at-ease presence and beautiful feather displays.

Some of the more rare sightings included moose, great horned owl, swimming turtles, and bald eagle.

There’s a story behind the moose that is personally incredible for us and connected to our past, but let me just say that her appearance not only was pure alignment and magick, but confirmed why I have felt moose to be one of my key totem animals. She is SO much like me.

My experience with the great horned owl was also incredible. Again, almost a miracle I saw him. I woke one morning and as I passed the window in the bedroom I noticed a dark mass in a tree across the way.

I felt immediately this was an owl. I slipped on my tennies while still in my jammies, and made my away across the forest floor to confirm what my heart felt. And there he was, still half asleep, but aware because two magpies had just been yelling loudly at him to leave the area. It was still dimly lit outside, so he peered at me with half moon slit eyes, turning his head toward me to let me know he heard me when I spoke to him.

We then left for the day and upon returning in the evening, hours later, I decided to go look at the tree again. To my surprise he was still there, but now fully awake.

I felt he waited for me to continue our conversation and connecting. He would let me come close and just turned his head with wide eyes to make sure we were directly locking ours together.

He was never bothered by me from start to end. I spoke to him gently and each time thanked him for his sacred presence, message, and gift.

He felt to be much more than an owl and yet even as an owl this creature of the night was a Cosmic gift to me.

The swimming turtles actually surprised me while I was deeply communing with nature and receiving. I heard a noise in the water, then taps under the floating mini dock I was laying on that brought me fully back from melting into everything.

When I peered over I saw a larger and smaller turtle swimming sweetly and then disappeared below.

Not long after, a giant grasshopper whizzed at me and stopped so we could gaze into each other’s eyes.

We also saw a couple of voles run across trails, a fun and spunky little guy that leaped onto a branch like a flying squirrel and then stopped to comically pose for me with a pinecone in his mouth, and one chipmunk in particular caught our attention. While they are not rare at all to see, this one was so deliberate and unafraid. She decided she was going to continue nibbling regardless of our presence and sat a foot away just “being” with us and enjoying her lunch.

She had the most beautiful, thick little chipmunk tail either of us had ever seen and she was like a little character straight out of a novel, come to life – full of sweet personality and completely at peace without the usual twitches, fast movements or breathing. Not long after her another one did similar and let Dave go within inches as he crouched down beside him. He wasn’t as fully calm in embodiment as the first one, but still indicated that he was open to being more of that.

My take away from these two, and in general the animal encounters, was that these beings were waiting for us to meet them in that same curiosity and peaceful presence.

Nature’s invitation is increasingly being extended as a form of support even more so these days. Not only inviting our conscious interaction and understanding, but extending an added effort by way of demonstrating a reflection of humanity that we’ve forgotten.

And while we didn’t see this one, we were told that a mountain lion had come into the neighborhood just a few days after our arrival by our house host. Since mountain lion are so reclusive, it’s not usual to see one, but just feeling that presence at the time we were here meant something to me. Another invitation and messaging to go deeper within and be present to the inner messaging always speaking to us in a variety of ways. I’ve only once seen a mountain lion slinking down the wall of a canyon from the other side in Colorado. That felt like a comfortable physical distance to me. 🙂

I discovered two of the largest wasp nests I’ve ever found – well actually four, but two of them were scattered in pieces – plus a smaller one still attached to a tree limb sitting next to just the top of one of the other two large ones I found that had dropped to the floor.

Although these two nests are big, as you can see by my hand as reference to size, they were still only half of the nests.

They are all abandoned nests that have served their purpose for the season. In fact, I found two dead wasps inside of the one you see above.

I just LOVE nests, whether bird or insect, I find nests and hives so incredible in artistry. I explore the intricacies and sacred geometry of these nests and am fascinated. The inside of these giant ones are just amazing! And I love the honeycomb centers, as well as the tunnel holes in and out.

I also kept seeing an array of enchanting little mushroom worlds everywhere (these are just some of the enchanted little realms I captured). They, too, were hidden across the forest floor and my eye would always find them.

They took me even further within, since these micro worlds direct us into the tiny underworking and value of every little thread to the whole.

Mushrooms have been around for ages and their ancient presence not only shamanically and spiritually have value, but are essential to Earth’s biosphere.

Therefore their wisdom is mighty, although part of the mini worlds you might often overlook. Just like your unique light and presence of being is impactful although you feel you’re just one of billions of humans on earth.

It’s been an incredibly enriching time away and every single moment has been cherished and remembered. This was one of the most magickal times for me – more than I could have imagined it to be. I’m beyond grateful and in many ways awe-struck at what has unfolded, how it has, what it’s put in motion, and feels to be indicating for the road ahead.

Everyday I would have what I called Faery T time, after our full nature days, where I immersed myself in my own little world with nature. On my last day, after having received more gifts and saying my thanks and farewells for everything, Grandfather and Grandmother turkey came to see me off. Every other day it’s always been the flock, but to have the two largest and oldest, alone, meet me was just perfection in every sense of the word “sacred“.

It’s also been meaningful being away during the change of seasons. Not only did we get to immerse in Autumn splendor, but also felt Winter’s breath begin to touch the land.

Temperatures dropped, some rain refreshed everything, and snow kissed the mountain tops. We even had a short fall of sweet hail snow drops coming through sun shiny skies to bid us a magickal farewell.

This apparently was happening back home at the same time, with some needed rain coming in along with Winter snow kisses to follow. Our house sitter sent us a video of our first snow dusting the Forest Portal floor. The fire that once knocked on the door also experienced 98% containment while we were away (the projection has been 10/16 for 100%) and so returning feels like a nearly full refresh from this magick bubble we dipped into the last 11 days that is and always will be dear to my heart.

May we each receive the guidance we desire and that supports the conscious choices that align with our hearts for evolution.

Ask Astrid Fridays ~ The Rabbit’s Corner: Taking a Paws

So much of what Astrid and I have been experiencing the past couple of weeks is an increased level of presence and pause – not altogether slamming on the breaks and stopping, but a deliberate slowing and gentle motion forward, clearing for clarity, while also being ultra open. Astrid would say it’s more of a “paws” – kind of like when she stops to clean her face with her two front paws, as you often see rabbits and other small creatures do where they sit on their back legs and lick their paws and rub their face, eyes, head, and run their ears through their sweet furry hands.

She’s still in motion, grooming, clearing, and giving herself almost like an aura cleanse, but she hasn’t altogether stopped moving even though she’s anchored to the ground on her big hind thumpers. And once she feels complete with one round of grooming in motion, I notice how she will sit very intentionally with nose moving rapidly and all of this information flowing through her and beaming out of her eyes. She may then move on to the next round of grooming.

She’s in process and it’s almost like a meditation if you watch a rabbit do this. It’s very soothing and this fluid motion is incredibly adorable as well.

So, in a way I’m “pawsing” along with her, continuing to move forward, but only in cue to the energy vibrations I feel pulsing through. Each step keeps leading me to the next and rather than stop the movement, I just hit the paws button and do more clearing, clarifying, and allowing, which has been incredibly interesting to see how ideas are gushing in with new possibility that wasn’t on my radar.

I’ve found this “zone” much like Astrid’s meditational grooming, where I feel like I continue to ride the energy currents with matching my vibration, and don’t have to create these separate compartments to everything where I start this, stop that, need to completely hault or walk away, or feel forced to make a choice. I just keep myself in a rhythm of openness without attachment and this creates the feeling of riding a current.

I bring it throughout everything and is kind of like how I’ve explained my life to be more like a walking meditation.

Decisions and steps are also becoming a more fluid journey as well.

It’s almost like being a leaf on a stream.

Sometimes I might float faster. Other times things slow down. Sometimes I might ride over some wild mini rapids through rocks or go from a wide part of the stream to a very narrow funnel head, until I’m popped out the other end.

I may even get caught in a breeze or mini whirlpool that gently circles me about in what seems like one place.

But never do I completely stop unless I decide to anchor at shore along the journey and try my feet out on land for a bit to explore a destination of choice, until I decide to get back on my leaf and continue along the stream of life.

All the while I continue moving.

So there is a new kind of pause I’m feeling and it involves more of a “yes, and….” response.

Meaning, “yes that could work and so could this,” or “yes that feels possible and wow there’s this too.” So I explore each thing and stay open, which suddenly brings in a new wave to flow on. Each builds upon the other, but there’s an invitation to creativity and imagination for opening another level of possibility that could offer more expansiveness and take me down a new part of the stream that has more potential destinations along the shore of life.

It’s not that I won’t arrive at a choice, but I’m providing a wider playing field for potential and not seeing something as a dead end or a clear “no way.” I’m also not having to stop and stick my oar into the bottom of the stream to try to latch on to something desperately.

It’s curiosity meets presence and vibrationally keeping aligned with the stream.

I don’t know if it makes sense what I’m trying to put an experience of into words, but there you go.

Water is amorphous and so I am becoming more so I guess.

So, Astrid and I have been on “paws” while we fluidly groom life right now. We’re taking in each morsel and flowing along the frequency until it morphs into something else.

This right now has felt more important than trying to get off at a destination of choice, although some energy currents have led us eventually to choices, as they are mini journeys within the whole.

Others, have much more expansive effects and reach, so these ones we do the “paws” on to clear and cleanse, while inviting in a greater part of our imagination.

It’s a much more enjoyable ride now because of remaining open without need to control and stop the process.

And it truly wasn’t until today’s share, that I’ve reflected on trying to explain a process that has now become my natural.

It’s like that with everything truly.

At first things could seem like retraining yourself or looking at all of the parts, but then they become the natural you.

Lately I’m seeing that there really isn’t work involved and things fall into that natural rhythm simply by remaining open to what is wanting through.

There’s a lot of wisdom in the “paws.”

Astrid’s nose twitches in agreement.

Ask Astrid Fridays ~ The Rabbit’s Corner: Presence is the Art of Seeing & Being Seen

We hop into the third and last of this week’s new blog series with Ask Astrid Fridays ~ The Rabbit’s Corner. When checking in with her on what she wanted her first blog to focus on, she reminded me of her experience waiting for a couple of years+ at SaveABunny for someone to “see” her. Besides the founder, Marcy, and her wonderful staff of volunteers, no one could find the bridge within their hearts to really tune in to who she really is and look beyond their first reactions to her assertiveness. Astrid wisely used this behavior to help reflect to others a way for them to meet her in their wholeness of power and most importantly to step out of the stories and noise and come back to the presence of peace within the nature of their essence.

A way for her to filter companions as well, as she truly needed someone who can rise to the occasion and match her vibration so that she’d be able to bring through the gifts she came to share. I’m beyond grateful I met her needs to help be her voice and I strive daily to keep growing and learning more from her about how to drop into my essence more deeply.

Astrid shares that presence is the art of seeing and being seen and is also the hidden language of the heart.

When we are able to truly drop into our hearts and open all the tentacles of awareness available to us, we will be more receptive to all of the messaging around us and the truth of any situation.

We learn rabbit’s gift of vulnerability and how to tune our ultra rabbit senses into all the seen and unseen things and worlds.

By being ultra aware and present in the moment, we are able to see past illusions and masks so that we are able to really hear, feel, relate to, and understand what’s beneath the surface.

We are able to see.

And, when we engage presence to what’s within, we naturally become more authentic and transparent for others to see us too.

Still to this day, Astrid uses this technique with anyone who meets her. She invites others to step into this field of experience as a way to be present to what’s really going on within and without, who we really are, our motives, what drives us, and how we can cross the imaginary boundaries we think separate us from others, all of Mother Earth’s children, and the Cosmos itself.

Rabbits are very complex souls in embodiment.

They have and speak a language of their own that isn’t like a dog or cat, although you might find some similarities.

A true presence and willingness to find the peace within, patience, and engagement of your intuitive heart is needed to truly understand the gifts they have to share.

Here’s a great and very thorough article about rabbit communication to help anyone interested in knowing their rabbits more, are curious about rabbits, might be drawn to having a rabbit companion, or simply want to understand the art of presence through rabbits:

The Language of Lagomorphs

Astrid will be back for more next Friday, but for now she wants to thank anyone who takes the time to read this and hopes it inspires a desire to drop into your hearts and invite presence more into your life.

There’s a whole world of hidden language, gifts, and messages that await you within and without to explore.

You just might find a yourself enjoying a hoppier life and a more enriched way of living and being your truest.

To Live

30730034_10215515673592154_6716410348682275535_n.jpg

We often take for granted the things right before our eyes and even the things we’ve experienced in feeling because we are focused on achieving or racing against time. And quickly the incredible moments, people, and experiences disappear without our acknowledgement and without truly receiving what they have to share that can enrich our lives.

When you wake in the morning or before you go to bed perhaps you can reflect on those things and leave the rest for a few minutes, as it will still be there when you’re done, however the rest may not.

And along your day try raising your eyes to the sky, turning to your left or right to really see who and what’s besides you, or pay attention to your footsteps and how you are walking through life on your way to the next to-do on your list.

What are you missing today?

Your child’s desire for a hug or to know you more?

Your partner’s need for you to see or hear them?

Your animal companion’s pain they’ve taken on to help relieve your stress and get you to pay attention to what you’re neglecting?

How beautifully unassuming someone or something looks because they are unaware of their light shining through?

How nature has miracles to give you each day to help inspire and guide?

How incredible you are but never noticed the richness of what makes you you?

How amazing it is that you are breathing and have a choice every moment as to how you want to experience it and what you can do right now to make a difference?

Please don’t walk through life without ever knowing what it means to be living.

Sacred Silence

“Silence is a source of great strength.” ~Lao Tzu

I’ve continuously found myself being in silence and craving it more and more. This has led to an increased time spent in nature as well where I can hear the whispers carried in every breath of life around me. And when not outdoors, I enjoy a good portion of time being and working in silence, listening to the music of my cosmic heart. I’ve always been one to listen silently and not talk much when around people, unless of course I’m teaching a workshop. However, over time, even that has incorporated more silent presence, as I’ve created space and encourage others to lead and share, acting more as a facilitator to move the energy and support empowerment.

It’s interesting to reflect on my past when I was more insecure and without the confidence or courage I experience today, and remember that even then others were reflecting the power of my silence and presence, which took me time to understand consciously.

I would often hear later that people would share things about me to others, or be grateful for something I did or said, when in actuality I NEVER ONCE spoke a word. At least not through my mouth and voice, but in fact I was speaking through the silent presence I’d embraced from very young and telepathy that comes through in that state of being.

Silence has an energy to it that is like no other source and it is from this stillness that you find everything you will ever need and all that you forgot you knew.

It’s important to go out of your way to cultivate silence in this modern world where it practically ceases to exist, as it is invaluable. When you create even 5 minutes of silence each day, it will change your experience and you will become aware of just how much the external stimuli is affecting you.  All of this external noise creates internal noise, as our minds become more restless and active. Silence and inner stillness will lead to an experience of wholeness and happiness that comes from experiencing the divine inside you and conversely, also the divine inside everything and everyone else.

As we learn to experience this state of inner peace consistently and consciously, we recognize more what is our energy and others’ energy and get stronger at being able to create and duplicate that same inner peace and silence in the middle of any situation. We learn to take back control of our lives and strengthen our abilities.

Silence is something that not only do I find balancing and recharging, as well as supportive to being more present, mindful, and aware of all the energetic subtleties and guiding messages, but I also find it a way in which I can go deeper into the watery abyss of my authenticity, hear my intuition and truth, and exercise expansion of my heart. It’s also a way to access deeper connection with everyone and everything around me.

“In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth.” ~Mahatma Gandhi

I’m constantly in awe and in love with the limitless depths of the heart. We’ve come to understand the importance of exercising the body, but it is also important to continually exercise the heart in taking it to new levels that will access its expansive potentials to heal all and to create anything we dream. Silence helps us to touch into those spaces in between and to understand the language of love.

Silence speaks volumes and is a way we can speak heart to heart and allow love’s stillness to envelope our souls.

This takes place even without words needing to be uttered.

I am grateful for the moments that exercise my heart and draw me deeper into the stillness within.

May you be inspired to embrace the power of sacred silence and the heart.

“Silence allows you to watch your mind and become aware of the thoughts that you may be acting on unconsciously. When you see the thoughts, you can make a conscious choice to act on the thought or change your mind, instead of going along with the noise. I have seen people who don’t want to look at themselves keep going until something happens that makes them stop — a sickness or an accident — but it gives them that reflective, quiet space where they can face what is difficult in their mind. We each have a unique purpose to fulfill in this life and inklings can come in those quiet moments.” ~Swami Radhananda

What If It Were Easy?

Too often we spend time worrying and conjuring up every angle in our heads of the worst case scenario and how hard something will be.

But what if instead we asked, “What would this look and feel like if it were easy?”

And then, imagined a variety of potential scenarios of exactly how wonderfully fluid and magickal that would be, rather than every awful one we normally do.

The reason we stress is because we’re operating on old habits, conditioning, and patterns that are in cruise control rather than taking control of the steering wheel and guiding our lives along the the path intentionally with conscious presence to our thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and even how our bodies our reacting to those things in each moment.

We often are forcing things, operating on “shoulds”, stretching ourselves thin, doing more than we actually need to be because we “think” we have to, over-complicate situations by worrying, and miss the simple paths because we believe, “Life just COULDN’T be THAT easy!”

As the end of the year comes to closure and I know many of you might be thinking on New Year’s resolutions or simply wanting to rewrite your life for the upcoming new beginning’s year of 2017, perhaps you might reflect upon how to rewrite your approach to life and begin a new chapter with you as the author and the path as one of grace and ease.

Gratitude Creates Alchemy

peru3.jpg

One of the ultimate spiritual lessons in life is gratitude. Gratitude for all the big AND little things…the seen AND unseen…the full gamut of experiences released from judgment and categorized value.

Focus on what there IS…not what you “think” you lack, as all things have a wider meaning with hidden gifts that reveal themselves when we release attachment and learn to understand how the highest good is always as work.

We just haven’t unwrapped the abundance yet, but the more gratitude you embrace, the more abundance you experience.

Gratitude isn’t just something to extend toward the so-called “good” things in life, but to ALL things – relinquishing the need to define, categorize, idealize, cast away, and judge them. That includes the “imperfect” that IS perfect and richly integral in our lives.

Today and always may you embrace the kind of gratitude that creates true alchemy.

Sending out deepest heart-to-heart gratitude for each and every one of you who is braving this journey together at this time in our collective experience. I know times get tough and intense, but you’re here and that speaks volumes. Thank you for your courage and love and for all of the love you’ve shared with me and others. Your light helps raise the vibration and makes more possible for us all. Keep shining and know that you are appreciated beyond measure.

A Message from Blue Jay

DSCF9259.JPG

Rest, city errands, cleaning out my closet, finalizing things, and cleansing rains upon completion of it all were the themes of the day and a half stop over in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. We had a completely private little haven camp site surrounded by trees and lawn making it a perfect sanctuary for all of this, but it was Blue Jay who was the highlight. Since we didn’t venture out except for errands and a late linner upon arrival, his coming to me was definitely noted for a message of presence, wise and balanced use of personal power, resourceful adaptability for ease,.creative self expression and assertion, and bringing higher thoughts into action.

20160823_075547_resized20160823_075659_resized.jpg

He sat in the tree next to my window, moving from branch to branch incessantly talking away to get my attention and peering into the window. His voice shifted into varying degrees of communication, but he was definitely on a mission and the message was coming from a deep, powerful place within him, despite his size. He was confident and assertive, but also soft and majestic.

DSCF9263.JPG

His beautiful blue immediately connects me to the power of the throat chakra and its symbolism of creative self expression, sound and song, and having something to communicate that is unique to my voice. He seems to be saying “get to it!” with his loud expressions that went on for about 10 minutes, as he leaned forward toward the window.

Of course synchronously I’ve been aching to get back to my focuses that indeed utilize my gift of creative expression and communicating through my individual works in process. Where I had reservation on clarity of the messages and my ability to communicate them before, there is no need now and I have felt a readiness and timeliness.

Blue Jay comes to share it is time to embrace, develop, and apply your gifts to their fullest. You cannot afford to neglect them. And when bringing higher thoughts into action, unlimited potentials await you.

There’s no need to seek or call attention to anything, only a need to respond to what’s before you and to the world.

DSCF9255.JPG

Blue Jay reminds us to sink into the comfort of ourselves where ever we are. To assert our personal truth and authenticity, and to communicate what feels to express that in any given moment.

This bringing to mind personal boundaries and undoing any repressive tendencies we have.

Blue Jay seems to own her/his space and knows how to focus and call the shots in her/his life of when, where, how, and with whom and what to use their energy.

They bring a message of embracing life to the fullest no matter where you are and engaging in that which you love at all times.

They shine a light of brightness to any situation and can see you through the darkness as well, bringing to light the shadow in which you can utilize to create greater potency with the gifts you bring forth.

Blue Jay embodies a presence of knowing her/his gifts, but knowing is not enough. They know the importance of cultivating them and bringing them forth with wise use of discernment.

Their appearance seems to call you forth into this realization and knowing that the time is here where all that you’ve learned so far is ready for the next evolution of expression with great clarity and vibrancy.

I did some researching into Blue Jay and found that the word “jay” come from the Latin word “Gaea” meaning Mother Earth. And since they are aviary brothers and sisters, with a crest that reaches into the heavens, they directly link us with both Earth and Universal/Cosmic energies, bridging them for integration and active expression of divinity brought into embodiment.

I also found that in Native symbolism their gorgeous blue that mirrors the sky is said to indicate a double vision or double clarity that symbolizes their/your ability to express the purity and truth of your heart and soul and to have great clarity of thought when bringing that forth to share with others.

I loved that my beautiful Blue Jay friend appeared at this time and that he spent time preening himself and exposing his soft under feathers inbetween his communicating with me.

To me this spoke to knowing one’s self worth, that what you have to share is of value, that self nurturing is important, and the tenderness of this act toward self is a reminder that the way we bring forth our personal power can have a soft, gentle essence at the core of the clarified, strength of expression.

Purpose is Presence

20160809_091208.jpg

Everything you do can be a spiritual experience.

If you find yourself currently in an experience, job, etc. that is not what your heart dreams of, rather than let the mind take over and create misery with its judgments, allow the heart to see every situation’s potentials for spiritual growth and soul evolution on your journey.

You are in the perfect place right now and PURPOSE is the PRESENCE you bring to that moment.

When you wage a war upon things, the battle you experience is only within yourself.

Relaxing into the journey and being present to recognize the gifts along the way, will provide guiding lights of transmutation your heart can then embrace.

Life is an experience you choose and create each moment.

~ A Different Perspective on Purpose: What if Purpose Looked Like This?

I know that many of you are in constant search of your PURPOSE.

And you define yourself by something outside of you that you do in order to feel a certain way about yourself that if removed, would leave you feeling empty.

Or, you try to piece together what you think you should be doing in order to fit a certain idea.

I’ve shared that search for challenging and exhausting years myself.

And it wasn’t until I stopped searching, and started being present with myself and what was naturally moving through me in the moment that I relaxed into what was showing up in the stream of energy.

This stream of energy was always the present undercurrent, but I was struggling to swim ahead of it.

This stream of energy may shift, but being present within it and what is showing up supplied my purpose.

From there I simply could choose what flowed with that energy stream and felt joyful and in harmony with it.

Whether that was creating something new from that energy stream or showing up more within my current experiences with all of me, there was no essential difference.

Purpose resides in the grace of presence.

Purpose is your showing up in complete presence with this moment and every moment thereafter.

The rest naturally unfolds from there.

I shared this photo, as it reflects the state of sweet presence.

And in that present moment they (Cosmo and Dave) are fulfilling their purpose.

Mornings have become our favorite times to anchor in “being” for ungauged periods, because this helps us to be in that state of presence and awareness, setting the tone for the day.

There’s no greater guide in my life for this than precious Cosmo who is ever-present and embodying purpose.

Mornings spent just holding him, as he sleeps, stirs and licks us, brings us into peaceful surrender to that presence.

Nothing else matters but that eternal and potent moment of rich presence of being.

And all things become clear.

Cosmo is my cherished teacher for all new realities in creation.
