The Many Faces of My Garden
This Sagittarius Full Super Blood and Flower Moon Total Lunar Eclipse was a doozy and I’m still letting everything settle that has evolved leading up, on and after, as to what if anything I might share upcoming. I’m tuning in to receive that message, but in the mean time, a garden update and musing has been in the works and feels like the creation energy theme to focus on for now under the softer Spring energy of the “Flower” Moon. Later, I might focus more on the “Blood” Moon energy theme in an upcoming post so that we hit the contrasts.
So, here we go.

I’ve noticed that every time I set foot in my garden, I feel a little bit different than the day before. Like the clothes we wear, the colors, things, environment and people we surround ourselves with, and the energies and emotions we move through daily, I’ve seen how garden time shifts something within, draws something out, and a new person reflects back to me in the mirror thereafter.
This happens to me in Nature, period. AND when hanging out with Astrid or when I’m in a creative zone painting, drawing, writing, singing, sounding, and dancing. The places that reflect my nature in some way, bring out the colorful best in me.
I got the idea that while I started documenting the seasonal shifts my garden goes through this year that I would, this time, also include myself within the photo journaling to see what evolution takes place all around. I usually only post photos of the evolution of my plants and garden additions, but I wondered what I might see if I became part of the landscape. So, that’s what I did.
What I noticed when I went through the photos later, is that there is indeed something different that takes place when I spend time in my garden. It’s not just that I step out in an array of varying wardrobe that feels right for what I’m engaging in, but I saw a variance in parts of my essence that showed through as well. And those pieces of essence felt to reveal some of the more tender or deep parts of me.
What it said to me is that these moments I spend in the world of my garden are some of the truest times for me, just like when I’m exploring nature trails, communing with Astrid, sound channeling, creating, or gazing at the stars. I lose myself in the richness of holding and working with tender life essence in my hands and the grace of cultivating beauty from the very core of my being.
I’m sure if someone photographed me while I was doing any of these other activities that we’d see the various faces of my essence revealed, too.
But for now, we’ll focus on my garden, as it’s taken on more of a direct mirroring for me these days and so I’ve experienced a deepening in the connection I have with her.
If the garden is our metaphor for life, we begin to see her start to reflect our unique style in how we design her and we begin to see how we reflect the fundamental foundation we have to work with, of the land she embodies from the start.
We share a symbiotic relationship and I notice that the way I create with my garden is the way I create in my life, in general. Also, the type of yard and garden I have is a mirror of my spirit.
Everyone’s garden is different, just as their lives are and therefore each person decides what they want their garden to be – a vegetable garden, flower garden, rock garden, native garden….a variety of all.
You can learn a lot about a person based on observing their garden and yard, the types of things that they value most, or even how much a person cares for themselves and nurtures certain qualities or values in life by how they cultivate their garden.
You can also see how the person interacts with other variants that are out of their control in the garden and if they find a happy medium, work with the elements, fight the elements, or try to control them anyway. Are they stubborn, domineering, flexible, wild, cultivated, enjoy creating beauty, desire to revive the land, looking to grow all their needs or have specific intents, are tidy or relaxed, tight or flowing, are serious and fully devoted, or simply love an eased approach and enjoy things in balance?
All of this comes through when you view someone’s garden.
And like me, my garden has gone through its own interesting cycles while we’ve teetered back and forth between Winter and Spring. It’s also been going through changes while I navigate the collective landscape and move through the various heavy and challenging energies. I’ve found that I’m actually seeing my garden evolve the most right now, becoming more of what it was meant to be, although I wasn’t clear about that at the start. I just kept moving forward and she revealed herself to me along the way.
I made a promise to the faeries of the land before the house officially became ours, to care for and create what they wanted here and a natural alignment has evolved between us.
I see their joy in how all the animals and plants sing and I feel their approval in the delightful whispers within sparkles of rainbow lights and portal beams they show me.
I’m also understanding my garden better and my relationship to her and what I’d like that to be. AND, where I hadn’t really felt called to expand much before, I have very slowly branched out into other areas and started to work toward bigger visions I have without limiting what I can do, but still doing it within the framework of my personality and desire for balance, flow, ease, beauty, and abundance – one step at a time.
When I’m feeling an ebb, my garden, like our nature activities, is my medicine and shows me what it needs too.
When I’m not sure what to do next or how to do it, I am planting seeds to inspire intention.
When I’m feeling a flow, my garden is sprouting and flourishing.
When I’m challenged in how to create the new, I find myself envisioning bigger garden goals and taking steps toward them.
“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” ~ Audrey Hepburn
I’ve been capturing photos along the way to document the changes, as I love to see how nature evolves through the seasons of life. Everything is only in the very beginning stages of Spring, as things here in the high altitude mountains run later than average. So blossoms are only just barely starting to pop.
A favorite being these two twin blossom trees that grow together – one on each side of the fence merging in blooms at the top.
I’ve already shared some of the faery friend additions to the garden, including those that are solar lights to create twilight enchantment, but there are a few more new arrivals since, including some that found their way from Wonderland to the Enchanted Garden at the Forest Portal.
These include two glass butterflies, an Om gnome holding two crystal orbs, playful poppa and baby bunny gifted to me by magickal faery sis Laura for my birthday that was in my office until recently, a sweet blossom and bird solar gnome welcome host, two magickal “Dream” and “Love” stones, two Sun and Moon large garden stepping stones I’m using as Cosmic sentries opening a portal to the pathway, a butterfly bird house, a white rabbit from my parents and turtle and rabbit moss topiaries that I’ve all also had in my office until now.
I enjoy having an easy garden and living in the mountains I prefer to have plants that I don’t have to keep replanting. So, after experimentation, I mentally made note to have nearly all perennials with the occasional annuals for some veggie fun in the Garden Tower.
This intuitive nudge was later underscored when I lost my sweet basil plants to one of our surprise frosts several weeks back, even before the recent snow. Luckily I had harvested a bit from them, but they didn’t make it. I took it as the message to stick to as close to 100% perennials with the few, fun veggies that might speak to me that year – at least until I have a greenhouse.
That said, I have been slowly planting new perennial additions, as the store gets in plants that call me. The newbies have been added to the main garden, rock garden, side yard, and Garden Tower while all of my other perennials do their thing.
And do their thing they all have, as everything is just flourishing with joy and my Garden Tower herbs are enjoying the most abundant return yet even before starting to add some friends.
The only exception being two little tomato plants – Sun Gold tomatoes and Husky cherry red tomatoes.
Although I read that tomatoes are technically perennials, they grow as annuals here in the states so are known as “tender” perennials especially with our cold winters and frosts. They were hit hard by our unexpected snow storm and frost last Thursday through Saturday, but they made it! Even though I lost about half or two thirds of each plant, the other percentage stood strong and they are still going. Yay!
Speaking of my Garden Tower, I did get new worm friends for the compost and they’ve been chugging along doing their thing while I feed them all the good faery kitchen scraps they can munch on to their hearts’ content.
The perennial returns I have growing in the Garden Tower include lavender, sweet mint, Italian oregano, bee balm, peppermint, parsley, thyme, strawberries, and wild flower.
The perennial additions I’ve added so far include one purple sage, two rosemary, and one more each of peppermint and Italian oregano. I’m excited to add some more and fill up the tower as the right plants find me.
And for my rock garden the perfect plants did finally find me to add to the three I have already. I can’t remember the name of these previous three, but they create sweet little blue star flowers. Their new friends include three White Fancy Dead Nettle that will bloom in early to mid Summer and three Festuca Blue Fescue Grass that will bloom mid to late Summer. I’m looking to still add three more plants so that they’ll all fill in the area lovely.
For the side yard I decided to go wildflower crazy, seeing how amazing my garden is doing with the perennials returning there and how much the pollinators love them. You can see how thick and abundantly they are growing back this year. Weeeeeeeee!
They’re even bigger since taking this photo and the first orange blossoms have sprung!
So I bought a pound of seeds to add to a bunch of little packets and gifted seeds I was sent from a friend, and seeded the entire little side lawn and then threw the left overs in the beds out in the front yard.
I’m so excited that I already see tons of baby seedlings sprouting everywhere! Yay!
And if they do as well as the ones in my garden, I should have a blanket of wildflowers growing on both sides of the two guardian trees and more out front.
If all goes well, crazy wildflower faery will strike again next year, adding more!
The new additions also to the side yard are berry bushes, which I’m excited about. I planted seven new perennial berry bushes along the little rock terrace at the end of the lawn of wildflower seeds, and next to my mock orange bush.
The new berries include two blueberry, two raspberry, one evergreen huckleberry, one black elderberry, and one Rubus Snowbank Berry aka white blackberry. Some have already grown quite a bit and others were smaller starter plants, but all are doing really really well even after our surprise snow.
First I planted them, then I added wire tunnel hoops, and last I covered them with secured netting.
For now, while they grow, the simple netting structure helps protect them from the little forest creatures plucking the blossoms and berries to come. At first I didn’t have enough pegs, so I used rocks to keep it tight. I’ve since replaced them with pegs all around and just kept a few rocks for extra sturdiness.
As they grow, I’ll adjust the whole set up to make it larger. This is why I opted for easy, since I’ll have to change it over time. I also got a metal butterfly trellis next to the white blackberry bush for when it starts growing, as it likes to climb.
I did get some more perennial flowers too – three rose and one white foxglove, one fireball dahlia, three purple African daisy, and three Lavendula Stoechas aka Spanish Lavender.
I added two of the rose foxglove to my main garden and gave my parents the other rose and the one white foxglove.
The other seven new flowering plants I split between pots on the back deck and lining the walkway in the main garden.
Alongside all the fun new plants, I’ve enjoyed watching some of my favorites return, like the variety of daffodils out front, some new tulips, a few irises, and my blossom trees.
Of course, Nature planted her own beauties, too. So along with returns of my own labor I look forward to, there are always surprises that the wind or forest creatures blow and bring into the yard and garden, as well as the wild and free, like fields of yellow dandelions that I love.
I’m flower crazy in general and so come Fall I plan to put in tons more bulbs of many varieties, seed tons more wildflowers next Spring and continue adding what ever flowers speak to me when they show up at the store. I’m always in the mood for more foxglove and lavender, and am really wild about lilies.
Right now orange and purple seems to be the color therapy scheme and attire of the first round of blossoms to arrive at the Spring dance.
And hats galore seem to be part of my attire always these days, whether in the garden, sun bathing, or out hiking. To dress them up with additions like my garden that reflect my personality, some magickal hat pins have found their way into my life. You already saw this one – Forest Witch – that embodies one layer of my energy.
And these two reflect another layer of my energy.
Here’s a better detailed close-up of what is making me feel as I do in the photo above. A Cosmic Rabbit with Moon and stars dreaming in a bed of lilies and Brigid’s lamb with Celtic Triskelion, Sun at her forehead, and snowdrop flowers.
This weekend I’m hoping to get in the new plant babies awaiting, but due to an eclipse incident I’m needing to lay low and take it easy for a while. I’m sure some garden grounding will likely do me some good when I am able to get back to it.
These are all the newcomers excited to join the party.
I have two Aromatico Blue English Lavender, three French Lavender, two English Lavender, (can you tell I love lavender?), three dalmation purple Foxglove (never too much Foxglove for a faery), one Belleza dark pink Gaura, one Belleza white Gaura, five little Albion strawberry plants, one sweet pepper (tasty green bell), one Italian parsley, one cilantro, one large Sungold tomato, and drumroll……four sweet Lamb’s Ear! All of these except a couple veggies for the Garden Tower are perennials.
I’m SO excited about the Lamb’s Ear, as it’s one of, if not my favorite plant and I have missed mine so much.
I used to have one in Costa Mesa that I grew from a tiny cutting I brought home across the water wrapped in a wet paper towel in a baggy that a woman gave me on Catalina Island because I was complimenting her plant. It flourished into a hugely abundant and gorgeous plant, which I then had to leave behind when we jumped aboard the Magick Bus. We rented our house out and it ended up dying without me to care for it. I was so sad.
Since, I’ve always wanted another, but never found any and then these four – the only ones at the store – appeared. I had been thinking about how I might find some recently and there they were. I, of course, adopted them all.
I’ll continue filling in my Garden Tower as well and implement plans for the side yard, step-by-step. We may even be extending the fence to the side yard, which will give me tons more space to do fun things in eventually. The previous owners never fenced in the actual entire footprint of the land that is connected to our home, but we likely will. Whether this year or another, it’s in the plan, as well as creating a privacy fence on the other side between us and our one neighbor to replace the old cattle looking fence there that tends to have posts fall over with the snow.
For now, a good majority of the side yard is wild, which I do love. I’ve intuited ways to stay in that wild energy while weaving in some creativity and magick.
I have some really fun visions for things, but am taking time to breathe and only do what feels in flow and not taking on too much all at once. That’s been my go-to with things these last few months…more slow motion for balance and recalibration rest. The latter really being underscored since the Full Moon Eclipse.
So there’s a little inside look into the many faces of me and my garden.
Perhaps photos speak more volumes than words.
The relationship we share is similar to her being my inner child – a reflection of that tender part of my imagination, hopes, dreams, and joy.
The relationship between us is also reflective of her being the elder me – a reflection of the serene years of bigger picture wisdom where nothing else matters except weaving alchemy between my silvery crown to those Earthen roots to create harmony and grace of being in every moment of all cycles of expression.
We have become one.
Whimsical Wednesdays ~ The Artist’s Corner: Templates for a New World
Today is another of those special days I hold dear in heart. May 5th is Gaia’s birthday – my sweet Russian Tortoise who slipped between the veils one day, not long after my own birthday the same year of her disappearance. She would have been 18 today, but her ancient soul spans the ages. It is also on May 5th that my twin soul’s ashes – Nestor – came home to me 13 years ago. I always marvel at the navigation our soul companions in animal bodies have.
Today is also 5-5-5. May being the 5th month, it’s the 5th day of the month and 2021 when added together is a 5! 555 is a very special messaging code that Nestor has always given to me and has continued to be a way she and my other star family communicate with me.
Gaia is a master of frequencies and grid work, and her knowledge goes way beyond simple sciences, but spans into the very depth of the Great Mystery.
Sharing a Whimsical Wednesdays art blog today feels like a perfect way to honor Gaia, as she (like all of my rabbits too – Nestor was the first and Gaia followed) always used to love being with me while I painted, and so enjoyed checking out my work in order to assist me with the energies I needed to imbue into them.
You can see her doing that in the photo below with my painting, Air, which we created together in my solarium overlooking Lake Tahoe.
Tahoe has been quite the nurturing presence for many of my paintings and other creative works of art, and today – in honor of Gaia and Nestor – I’d love to share two special pieces I was gifted the choice to cocreate.
The first is a painting I mentioned last year that I had the opportunity to work on. The project was to create a book cover and although it was completed in 2020, it is in 2021 that I get to reveal the final product.
I was so excited to receive a surprise tag on both Instagram and Facebook from the amazing Gary Savitsky about his book being in its last stages before release. After the proof of his new book had just arrived, he shared this photo:
It is humbling to have been a part of this amazing birthing of his, as the artist for his featured cover you see here. The title is Gateway to the Four Pillars ~ Qigong for Present Times and the Modern Mind.
This has been a many year project for Gary, and I came into the process only just last year when this cover was channeled. It was my part to help bring his visions into being and this definitely was a divine unfolding from first contact to completion of project.
Gary is a certified Master Sound Healer, Founder of Four Pillars Qigong, an inspirational spiritual calligraphy artist, energy healer, intuitive and author. Side, fun note – he’s a Rabbit in Chinese astrology.
Gary’s currently doing the last review and finalization, then it’s a first print run. I look forward to sharing more about his book when it’s formally released, but couldn’t be more excited for Gary and everyone who will experience his book.
Below I’m sharing the original image in its solo version – precover – that I first sent to Gary via email attachment before sending it to him in Thunder Bay, Ontario so you can see the full painting on its own.
It was quite the journey to create and like with everything I end up working on, it had perfect reflections for personal and collective unfolding – living portals that open the door to energies we have yet to comprehend fully and templates for new realities we are creating.
That brings me to the next painting, which is truly an experience brought to life on another basswood portal. You might recall this Magick Portal wood plaque I created in November of last year of precious Maribelle:
Well, her momma asked if I would create a very special and important piece of all of her dear soulmates in rabbit bodies and of course I was more than excited to do that for her, as you know how much rabbits mean to me, but more so these sweethearts and their mom had also become very special to me. There is always beautiful reason why paths cross and the timing is also always divine.
In both wood portal projects, I was given creative license to channel what divine image came through. The only thing I did ask and was given, was a photo of each of her sweethearts that she felt captured their essence the best. I was so excited when I saw the photos of them, as they spoke to me immediately as fitting into the vision that had ignited as soon as she had asked me to create this piece. Their positions were perfection for this new world.
Painting on wood has been my new favorite medium these days and I felt that this piece should be a companion to the first I did, but also the shape and larger size of the basswood I just happened to have left, felt to be the ideal landscape that could come to life as their dreamscape.
The new piece is meant to be an “experience” and not a dry portrait – just as the first one was created to be as well.
I like to think outside the box when painting something, create what you wouldn’t imagine possible from seemingly random, disconnected things someone asks for, or weave together new life and the unexpected from what could just be taken in a straightforward, static approach, and feel each creation to be a portal or window into another reality, feeling, vision, potential… where everything is possible.
This latest Magick Portal is definitely that – where possibility lives and a new reality awaits.
When I learned that I would be painting four rabbits in one piece, I knew that the vision I had imagined could now take form that involved a vista I had seen both in reality and in my dreams.
My favorite hike we do in the area has the most incredible landscapes that are my absolute ideal with every element that I love. One of these is this particular area that fills with wild lilac irises during only a very short window of the season. I have rolled in this meadow with only the irises and felt the most free and alive than ever. This photo I captured would be the world for these four souls in rabbit bodies – my inspiration.
And it’s just such surroundings that remind me of a far away place my soul only remembers, which reflects my favorite dream – laying in a meadow on a desolate planet with rabbits all around and on top of me. A dream I know these sweethearts’ mom shares too.
This was to be the dreamscape for these four sweeties – a place where they could play, frolic, and be free….forever. A place they can enter in dreamtime, have as their sacred and safe place they can go to if old triggers scare them, and the place that will always be there for them when they are ready to navigate their way back to the stars from which they came, and that they are. A place where they will always be together, free, living their best life, and their soul family in human bodies – their Earth parents – can always visit them too, and one day be there with them – an eternal Heaven on Earth.
This portal painting is also my vision of a New World. A place where all sentient beings live in harmony, are honored, and there is a synergy of relationship to the land and each other.
Two of these sweethearts in the painting are ex-lab rabbits – meaning rabbits that are used and abused in experiments to create products for humans. All of them are rescue rabbits from various situations. This is the vision that came through as a divine message, new template, and key codes spoken through these Earth angels.
A New World Awaits ~ Heaven on Earth (title of this Magick Portal)
I couldn’t have done it without them and they brought forth a dreamscape I had envisioned into life. I wanted them to feel alive, nurtured, honored, and free…forever.
Here are a few more photos in different lightings.
This is the stand I got for it – the perfect way to showcase this work of art.
And here are some close-ups of each of the rabbits with their live portraits – in order of appearance: Maribelle, Roger, Kewpie, and Marshmallow. These are my muses.
As always, detail and colors are hard to capture in photos, but I think these do a decent job in reflecting the essence of this piece and each of these souls.
The shape of the piece is a very unusual and naturally flowy wood that is almost 17 inches at the very widest across and about 10 ¾ inches at the tallest height then varies in between. I realized that I don’t take photos of my artwork with me in it anymore. That only seemed to happen back in the days when I would do a showing somewhere at a gallery or festival. But I got the message that to highlight the shape and size of this piece and because of its special meaning, this one needed capturing together with me and this is what happened:
And this:
Divine activation and confirmation – don’t you think?
When we first took these photos I happened to be wearing Honey Moon Wings – woven beaded earrings of the Lycaenidae family of butterflies in shades of Earthy amber honey with a hint of lavender and violet and tiny crescent Moons inside the wing. Perfect Earth and Cosmic harmony energies with a hint of reflection to the lilac irises.
I realized later that I actually had Monarch Wings to match the two butterflies in the painting (there’s also a Swallowtail) and put them on. Boojum decided to join for one last photo before wrapping this creation off and shipping to its new home. I think he approved! Boojum does love his rabbit friends.
I feel humbled to work on pieces like this because I know it is bigger than me. I’m just a channel or conduit for the messengers and messages.
I love what I do and am grateful for the opportunity to be this bridge.
Freedom to Be ~ A Message & Offering

Life is a work of art and you are the artist, magickally and wildly weaving your web of colorful desires into being.
Shine boldly.
Shine brightly.
Don’t be afraid to do your thing mightily.
The triple series of Eclipses is soon to be book-ended with the second Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Capricorn this Sunday, July 5th. It will continue to add transformational Earth energies for the collective with dramatic shift-potentials for key things that have been messaging us for a very long time and are now at a tipping point.
The dance between Cancer and Capricorn energies we’ve been experiencing, has been and is calling attention to both our personal and work life, grooming us to understand and implement boundaries in regard to professional and self-care routines. New structures are urging us to imagine, create, and build, but first we must remove the old foundations so that they can thrive strongly.
If we haven’t been cultivating and nurturing well being as a priority, we have opportunity to do so and this last Eclipse provides the opening for any release, cleanse and purge that will ultimately serve you and others in the highest ways whether you can see the full picture of that or not right now.
Change can sometimes be painful, but it doesn’t have to be prolonged. It’s incredible what can happen once we take the leap of faith and act.
Pay attention to subtle and profound messages, constant repetitive thoughts and patterns, the dialogue and stories you continue to tell yourself and hold on to, what is being reflected to you by others or nature that you push away or refuse, and the beliefs you carry overall – these are defining your inability to change, but nothing is black and white and nothing is incapable of having a doorway out.
Things in our lives can receive a heightened illuminating quality within and without where we may have illusions revealed and our perspectives altered. It’s definitely a point of loving release and mourning for the old stories and experiences, as we embark on the possibilities of new beginnings.
The freedom to be is at your fingertips.
Although life can throw us some obstacles and twists and turns, your creative life force provides you a way to experience and mold things into better alignment. To constantly tell yourself you can’t do something is the mantra you’ve agreed to continue playing out as your life statement. There are no absolutes in life, except that life WILL change for better or worse, depending on our perspectives and how we creatively harness them.

Whimsical Wednesdays ~ The Artist’s Corner: Be Like Nature
Creating life as a work of art is my personal motto and nature is such a guiding light example for this kind of artistry. I used to make life hard for so many years – part of that due to not having boundaries, which drowned out my voice of origins. The rest was a much needed excavation journey, but all along the nature of my heart kept singing. I just couldn’t hear it loud enough nor trusted it above the conditioned and accepted patterns and cycles I was caught up in.
The more I spent time in nature, the more I relaxed into my own.
I find all the answers to questions reflected around me always on nature’s canvas. Every tree, plant, flower, animal, insect, rock, terrain, season, and weather pattern displays a lesson for life and demonstrates how simply we can recreate, blend, merge, and resiliently design what is needed in each moment.
Perhaps that’s part of why rabbits speak to me so much too, as there’s still so much wild in them even if domesticated, and their Earth connection is richly woven into their bodies and souls.
I shared some of this on an Instagram post recently, but it goes along with this share:
I find it beneficial to embrace, and allow myself to experience, all of who I am without judgment. As I embrace all of my parts and their purpose for having been, a new perspective is born that rewrites my experience. As a result it creates a new template for a more loving, flowing relationship with myself of experiences filled with greater grace every step of the way. It’s not always easy, especially in the beginning, but with practice it becomes more natural and seamless.
I no longer need a catastrophe, physical crises, break down, or shove up against a wall in my life to know what my heart and soul needs and what changes are necessary in the bigger picture of things. My process is more about alignment, trust, and flexibility.
Support and expansion is there when I am in that flow.
While it might seem more logical to make changes when there’s a challenge, I say it’s quite empowering to make them when there aren’t.
For this reason I have understood why some people have thought I might be going through a challenge of some sort to make decisions like taking sabbaticals or changing courses altogether in areas like work, home, life and love, but the decisions are based on choice following inner knowing. I’m grateful to experience things in this new way – a way that reminds me of how nature simply unfolds in every moment, whole and complete.
Nature is my constant guide for life.
My time in nature gifts me endlessly. I find it to be the most profound for channeling, receiving inspiration, the most supportive for deep conversations, and abundant with messages and answers I’ve been pondering.
Nature helps me weave life as a work of art, as not only is she full of creative potency, but she offers me so many options and perspectives for how I want to paint each experience.
This was a feather treasure from Sunday’s long trek on the Flume Trail above Lake Tahoe. It’s very peachy gold and at first reminded me of many of my hawk guide feathers although wondered about owl since the feathers have many similarities. Upon further exploration of my feather collection and hearing from bird experts we confirmed it as great horned owl. I have several feathers from owl and hawk in my treasured collection. The timing of this one and finding it on a steep ledge upside down – nearly undetectable to the naked eye unless meant to be seen – felt very aligned.
Just some of great horned owl’s symbolism includes timing, hearing the unspoken, seeing and protecting the unseen, harbinger of new cycles and life transitions, piercing beyond the veil, shape-shifting, Great Mystery, wise action, recognizing light and dark coexisting, higher intuition, knowing, able to pierce through shadows and fears and see the darkness of others’ souls – therefore not easily being deceived.
The “knowing” aspect was synchronously peculiar, as I’d just been explaining to Dave about the form of psychic awareness I have and is continuing to grow, which comes through as a “knowing” that is part of me rather than separate to me or in some flash of channeling from outside myself. There is no separation between the things I experience and receive, making them feel very normal, natural, and seamless, possibly easily dismissed in this fashion, but I’ve learned over time to trust. Owl has shown up in readings in my past as my life path.
More interesting is what I discovered upon further exploration of great horned owl showing up that speaks to what I’m feeling. Owl can speak to stillness, slowing down, and silent observation, with perhaps even removing oneself from things to see truths all around. Owl also indicates releasing part of our lives to stay aligned and continuing to steer true to the course of inner truth guidance.
The avian clan is around me always in many forms, but the bird family of hawks, owls, osprey and falcons have been especially meaningful to my life as spirit guides, visionary teachers, and protective sentinels. Hawks are the most frequent creative life partners, with owls, osprey and falcons showing up less frequently, but at crucial points.
I’ve definitely been in a recalibration mode recently, as I have had to readjust to returning from sabbatical at a challenging worldwide crisis time while also opening to more work. Things have gotten busier than I imagined (all good things with integral purpose), but it’s very different from the quiet three months. I’m back to having client sessions and doing Reiki Healing Attunements – more than I thought but understandable, am beginning work on a book cover for an author that feels to be an important portal creation, and trying to still get my novel moving forward. I’ve also been spending extra time in the garden, cleaning up, planting, seeding, and watering and getting longer miles in than usual of exercise with hiking and biking in new areas to keep my equilibrium for well being. That alongside day-to-day things we all do like taking care of a household, three fur babies, cooking, cleaning, handling a shared side business with Dave, interacting with my community online with posts and blogs, and making sure there’s pure relaxing, do-nothing-time that’s a must in every day for me – all takes initiative, intention, focus and commitment.
After early years of strict security-based regimes, I unfolded into the freedom loving, wispy, part of me not wanting to be bound by anything and wanting to avoid hard work (escapism), and now I am creating a marriage of both as my artist’s way of life. Synchronously aligned with my actual marriage upcoming, which we just got our license for yesterday.
Now is a time for constructive use of freedom through healthy self-discipline in my life – in essence, creating a delicate balance between freedom and structure. This involves using levels of freedom wisely and well, which just so happens to also point to the numerology trajectory I’ve activated with this year’s birthday.
I’ve lived at both extremes and most of my life is now focused on implementing and embodying moderation through merging of organization, commitment, routine and responsible choices to the honoring of freedom that I also seek. This is a newer undertaking that merges the natural aspects of myself and focuses on their strengths with understanding of how committing to a certain sense of structure can actually offer the true freedom I desire. It also assists with attaining goals, manifesting, and experiencing greater clarity.
Nature reflects this for me in how she embodies so many seeming opposites together that work beautifully as a unit. There is a natural cycle, structure, inherent wisdom, sacred geometry, and symbiotic relationship that abides by certain unspoken universal ground rules, but there is also incredible variety, unusual evolutions, surprising mutations and resilient behaviors, and freedom to be wildly you that she speaks to so beautifully.
When I face frustrations in my process or feel restricted in some way, while I teach myself new, more freeing ways, I’m reminded of how nature doesn’t complain, but simply discovers new ways to thrive or renew. She reminds me of the resiliency inherent within and that sticking to my commitments will see me through and the balanced way to that is by remaining flexible, but disciplined, and focused, but open to change.
This has led me to start creating a guiding, daily time schedule while I have multiple things going on. I’m putting that together in a way that feels balanced, manageable and reasonable, while being flexible when necessary. That said, it feels incredibly important to create this in a way that is motivating and fun, but keeps me on track. Life isn’t about force and punishment. Those are old patterns of conditioning that have no place in the now. In the past I’ve been more of a one-off kind of person wanting to get each things done fully before I moved on and was an extremist. Now I’ve taught myself to be okay with things constantly in motion and giving time to each as I can in a way that feels aligned and fluid. This is healthier for me to maintain daily variety, momentum in all areas, creates a more natural rhythm and takes pressure away.
It’s also how nature creates.
I’ve also learned to say no over the years to projects and things in general, which I continue to, and to only say yes to what resonates. I newly implemented weekends to not being available so I get time away from it all too. In the past, any day seemed like a free-for-all. In all, there’s a slowing down and flow in order to not create anxiety and I remove pressures of “should’s”. I’m finding life much more rewarding and rich and I’ve never felt more vibrant.
We each have our roles and parts to play and mine is definitely as an “as within, so without” process in constantly holding that mirror up to Nature and the world at large to make those adjustments in reflection.
By working on greater equilibrium in all areas of my life, continuing to support my joy and needs alongside others as equally important, and letting go, and committing to living in alignment, all of that has balanced out before my eyes, including physically with natural changes I’m going through at my age.
And speaking of blossoming, the above and below photos are of our first blooming tree here. That seems reflective of little bits of new growth and opening in my life happening one step at a time. Things don’t just burst open all at once here in the mountains until a momentum kicks in.
Much like my own process, as I keep the wheels turning and do whatever I can in some way, inevitably there’s a chain reaction of further results that come from my continued forward movement. And soon the garden and forest will cycle into full bloom.
In the meantime, nature is in slow, steady growth right now here in the mountains, with constantly shifting weather. It speaks to me that my own life creations are needing to take their own time, too. So, I plan to relax and pick up a new color to paint life with, as the moment dictates. I will paint a little here and a little there so as to bring all parts of life together with joy and connection, be present to how each piece is integral to the next, and how there’s purpose in every brushstroke.
The idea of schedules always was daunting, but I now see it as crucial to creating life as art where I bring through all strengths together just as nature creates her masterpiece as a unit.
This doesn’t mean I don’t get things done when some of them do actually have deadlines, but I create more gentleness and joy around it all along with extra room for each by stretching them out and letting go in general when things unfold differently than I thought. Life continues to open in new ways the more I open to the true nature of me.
I’m going to be a little more “in between” worlds again, as I am needing to go to places more fully to receive what the open door is ready to channel through. I seem to be going through an evolution of sorts on several levels, to include greater access to more latent parts of me now rising. I’ll continue to keep balancing my “me” and “sharing” times with increased vigilance in order to maintain that natural rhythm and alignment.
Like the Sibyls, from which the ancient heritage within me is rooted, who lived hidden and out of reach in order to filter the energies that accessed them so they could remain devoted to the sacred purity of their connection with Mother Earth and the Cosmos through sound, there is a place within me calling for that path, moving in and out, at times unreachable, and yet ever more connected.

Whimsical Wednesdays ~ The Artist’s Corner: Nature’s Art Reflects Living Life Beyond the Veil – Beltane Peace & Heart Potential
I don’t post blogs as often these days, and mostly stick to themes when I do, but now and then I feel to share something that nudges me and today is one of those days with the energy in these photos coinciding with Beltane today.
Two days ago I went on a short evening hike out back by myself to take a break from manuscript work to connect with nature. The weather was lovely and warm and the air held something different in it. I took these photos, as the light called me.
Each time I looked at the sunlight peeking through the trees I would see tiny, fast shooting gold filaments, but the photos later revealed the unusual feelings I had.
I didn’t pay attention to Beltane approaching, but it was obvious the thinning of veils had already begun.
You can feel the dance of faery and sprite energy in the water, light, and forest. Faces and beings staring back at me all around.
But you can also actually see the light revealing what appears as a separation of dimensions – a veil parting ways.
The light this day was glowing differently and illuminating in unusual ways or radiating like an arrow.
You can see a golden ray shooting out in this one that then shifts into rainbow light that splits in two strands into the water.
After the couple of weeks of warming here, yesterday brought a cold day on in the middle of it with temperatures dropping to the 40’s after 60’s and sometimes even 70 degrees here in the mountains. Clouds moved in and out, winds blew in, and at the end of the day a very light veil of tiny snow flurries came down. Just barely enough to see with the naked eye, but did not settle. It appeared like an armada of faeries surrounding the house and created that separation effect of dimensions.
Today we are back to warm sunshine, as if the cold never was.
An interesting intermingling of Sacred Masculine and Feminine energies dancing back and forth, as the veils lift and harmony is revealed.
I’ve always loved this image of Cosmo out back in our yard where we used to live. To me, it is a beautiful reflection of his Sacred Male energy in total harmony and embrace of the Sacred Female embodied in our Earth Mother, Terra. The epitome of this precious dance of life and creation in its fertile abundance and purity.
Beltane is about honoring life at this peak period of Spring unfolding into Summer when everything is blossoming with potent and abundant fertility and the conception of ideas, intents, and dreams are ripe with potential. We become pregnant with opportunity for renewal, growth, vitality, passion, and joy that offer a chance to bring hopes, dreams, and ideas into active fruition.
The faeries remind us to have fun with it all and not to forget that a time for play is much needed too.
Look around you at the landscape of sprouts and buds vigorously reaching for the Sun and dancing in the breeze. They remind us to bring forth the depths of our hearts into the light even when we think there’s no reason to ever shine that again.
If even just to feel the sunlight dance on your skin and dreams, so be it.
Nature reminds us that everything has a cycle and now is a time to take up that joyful part of your secret world you keep only to yourself and nurture it a little bit more.
Today is opportune to set forth intentions and promises to yourself and ask for assistance, as you take an active step toward what ever it is you would like to see more of in your life.
I plan to do another little hike out back today and spend some sunshine time to ground in my own peace and clarity.
I have to giggle, although had slightly gasped, as a spider again just scurried along the edge of my desk by my arm as I typed, making his way for my keyboard. I scared him with my quick pull away of my arm and as I just wrote that he was running down my tapestry in front of me. 😉
You might enjoy Lee’s Energy Update for May to kick off this month and help you to hone in on the intentions you’d like to focus on more and even ask nature, the elementals and faeries to assist with.
Lee talks about both a continued acceleration and grounded peace and heart energy that are dancing together right now. He speaks to a new wave of people awakening to greater awareness than they have before in different ways and will be more ready for conversations they weren’t open to in the past.
Heartfelt conversations are more possible with the willingness to allow your heart to find different ways to engage others.
He also talks about “happiness as peace” which speaks to finding more ways to bring through your joy into life as a means of creating peacefulness. Any little thing that brings that to you is valuable even if something small like sitting outside listening to the birds, cleaning, shutting off electronics for a bit, reading a book, taking a walk, doodling or painting, laying down to day dream….bringing forth more stillness and self-care creates peace, grounding, and greater fulfillment.
Whimsical Wednesdays ~ The Artist’s Corner: If You Don’t See What You’d Like in the World, Create it Yourself
We’re creative beings by default, regardless of whether you feel you have a creative bone in you or not. We all have creative potential to not only express through the creative forces at the root of our being, but to actively co-partner in remaking our shared world and collective experience. We each embody a unique expression of All That Is and are a part of the life cycles of birth and death transmuting into new forms over and over, just like the life and death of a star.
When we find ourselves unhappy or unsatisfied with what we see and experience around us in the outer world, we can look within at ways we can tap into our creative power to start reshaping the inner world of our experience. In this way, we start to experience shifts in domino-effect that have far-reaching benefit.
If you wish to see something “out there” try creating it “in here.”
This can be in larger ways like desiring to experience more compassion in the world, so you commit to walking in compassion as much as you can on a daily basis, starting with having compassion for yourself.
Or, it can be in smaller ways, like wishing you could find that perfect item that you envision, but no one carries, so you make it yourself.
In each case, and all of the myriad of other examples and possibilities in between these, you are using your creative energy to create something. You are taking initiative and action by harnessing the creative forces within you to find ways to bring about/birth from the impetus of an idea, inspiration, strong desire, or dream.
And this makes you powerful.
Yes, you are powerful.
You are co-creating life and the type of experience of life you want to have, regardless of what is out there or not.
I actively engage in both types of “creating,” choosing to be more of the things I want to experience in the world and creating little bits of magick my imagination and heart desire.
The latter is what I did recently with two little rabbit Faery gardens I created for me and Astrid.
And in doing so, not only did I create something I wanted, but wasn’t out there (at least that I knew of), but the energy carried within each creation has twofold reach in not only making my heart happy and creating sweet energy for Astrid and me, but in creating these mini worlds, I’m creating a space of potential – like a timeline or portal – that acts like creative visualization for manifestation. They help to draw in layers of meaning, possibilities, and integration into the “now” experience.
This is the new creation I just made yesterday for our Wonderland room.
It’s called Royal Cosmic Wedding: Union of Inner Harmony.
Just the title likely gives you a hint at the energy embodied here, speaking about that marriage of wholeness within the divine perfection that we already are. And if there is any imbalance or turmoil within these parts of ourselves, it unifies them in harmony and understanding.
It’s created atop a vintage white porcelain castle planter and is currently the centerpiece to our room sitting on the highest platform of Astrid’s butterfly sleigh that she sleeps under.
To further help you understand the symbolism within it, here is what I included in the creation:
There’s a black AND a white bunny, a unicorn, a bunny in a swing at top center, two bunnies holding the Faery Queen’s white gown, a crown I found and glued atop her head, puffy white cattail on the reeds that double as nature and stars, a green dragonfly on one of them, and there’s a little book on a silver plaque holder that says “Once upon a time” with words beginning a story and an image of a castle on it. All of the figures sit atop gold sparkly stepping stones like gold coins that light and support the way.
It and Once Upon A Time: The Rabbit Faery Queen are the two mini themed magick rabbit worlds I decided to create and keep for Astrid and me.
Bringing art and love together, to me is “creating life as a work of art” – my personal motto.
Art, to me, is a manifestation of love.
When we create something from ourselves, no matter what it is, it is an extension of the love within us expressing creatively and that reaches out to another’s heart, bringing us together.
Everyone’s creativity, because it comes from the source of harmonious love, has value.
And in exploring, discovering, and bringing forth our creative energy, we are celebrating the hidden gift of being alive.
~
Note: Although I cannot create another of the Royal Cosmic Wedding: Union of Inner Harmony, due to the one-of-a-kind vintage castle planter, I did make a second of Once Upon A Time: The Rabbit Faery Queen for our Etsy shop, The Magick Rabbit, that sold. I can make more of that one if someone’s interested.
I’ll be sharing 3 new mini rabbit Faery gardens either this or next week – the last ones I’m making, as I’ll be focusing on new creations for the shop to share over the next weeks and months.
More mini rabbit Faery gardens can be found here, along with the original magick rabbit paintings, prints, greeting cards, and journals:
Whimsical Wednesdays ~ The Artist’s Corner: The Art of Living
From the red rocks of Sedona to the white wonderland of Tahoe, I sit here surrounded by winter blankets of snow swathing the Forest Portal of our home.
We arrived back Monday evening, still vibrating in the energy of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse – also a Super Blood Wolf Moon – and I’m just now fully integrating back in time for today’s Whimsical Wednesdays share from the Artist’s Corner.
We were away between Friday 1/11 and Monday 1/21, enjoying quite a full vacation and igniting of the new for 2019. Since we were driving, we decided on a stop-over in Las Vegas the first night to break up the drive – only exploring out for delicious comfort vegan food at The Modern Vegan for both dinner and early brunch, but the rest of our time was spent in the magick of Sedona’s high vibes.
We spent several days on our own anchoring in the energies, as Sedona welcomed us back, and then the rest of the time was with dear friends who all journeyed there from both the Grand Canyon and Tahoe to reunite.
I also had the chance to connect with two sweet friends that live in the area, we set intentions and sent out prayers from the Peace Garden two separate mornings, and of course we sampled all the great vegan eats and some new finds!
Every day was filled with tons of outdoor fun and exercise that tallied up to 60+ trail miles we ventured on foot and bike in 8 days – although I only went mountain biking once and Dave went three times making his mileage come to 74.
We thought it would be fun to see just how much adventure our feet take us on. 🙂
Unlike past blogs, I won’t be recounting our entire trip, but instead will be focusing on how Sedona was actually the birthing of my art and the “art of living” for me.
If you’d like to see a full photo journaling of the adventure, you can find all the beauty and adventure at my Instagram page here, even if you’re not on Instagram:
TaniaMarieArtist – (If you see two overlapping white squares in the right hand corner of a photo it means there are several photos to each post. You can click on them and then click the arrows to venture through)
It was interesting that our friends asked me about my time in Sedona, having me recount the evolution of my experiences with her energy since the beginning.
Although I now experience flow, joy, and tons of nature immersion, it wasn’t that way at start. Her powerful vortexes asked of me to dig deep, purge, cleanse, heal, and strip away everything I knew how to on a daily intensive that lasted for nearly two years. My journeys then were journeys into the inner sanctum of my heart and I only ventured out on small occasion to walk or drive somewhere where I could meditate, anchor in the work I’d done, set intentions, and receive insight for what was next. Other than that, I had no contact with anyone and in fact, had made a clean break from the life I had before.
I can share more another time, but it was very intense and hard work.
It also opened the door to my artistic journey I’m on now.
Although I drew nearly all of my life up until that moment, for joy and only once for actual pay, it wasn’t until I started uncovering layers within myself that I decided to purchase some oil paints, canvas, and start truly painting for the very first time in my life while on this inner journey living in Sedona.
It didn’t happen right away, but the more I released and healed, the more I felt the call to express myself on canvas.
The first painting I created was for my parents – it was an oil painting of Venice they have in their living room today – an image I replicated from their travels there. I just jumped right in, as if I’d been painting all of my life, but in actuality I was simply moving the energy that I had released from within that echoed of my lives on this earth and the artist within me that had always been there.
Upon completion of this painting, I then created some symbolic paintings that seemed to echo not only the healing and insights I’d received, but the messages of empowerment and transformation that were taking place.
I also created a few charcoal pencil portraits of my grandparents and others.
In essence I was tapping into the well of creative energy as a form of communicating what was within me and channeling through me, while also adding layers of healing that aided the work I was doing – giving myself therapy on every level imaginable and with every tool available that I knew of and was learning along the way.
My art became a form of self expression, much as this Super Full Moon in Leo has beckoned forth from us all – to shine like the light that you are and to birth new creative things from the power within that you embody innately.
It was in Sedona when this creative birthing took place, that I knew art or creative expression was an important part of who I am and what I needed as the breath of life to bring through.
And since, I’ve continued to channel creativity, as it flows through me in its many forms of expression that shift as I do.
It is also then that I realized life could be lived as a form of art and how the “art of living” started to manifest as my way of life – everything seen as a way to create beauty and inspiration, as well as to paint my way through experiences and weave the story I wanted to tell with different strokes of colors and feelings that reflected my essence.
From then on, even though I would still have more layers to journey through, I lived much more presently and with intention.
Sedona helped bring me back to the core of who I am and it was up to me how I wanted to paint the rest of my journey from the heart.
So while my first encounter with Sedona was intense, there has always been a love affair with her energies, knowing she supported exactly what I needed. Since that time, every trip thereafter has been softer and more joyous, flowing, and activating, igniting major shifts and leaps at just the precisely aligned moments.
I was always a willing partner to her dance, but I’m no longer struggling to keep up.
Creativity continues to ooze from each encounter with her and greater inspiration comes forth, providing me choices and new possibilities.
This trip was no exception, as I found myself not only receiving inspiration on the new, fun images I’ll be creating next, but also found myself dancing with yet another potential timeline I hadn’t entertained before.
I didn’t know until the trip was approaching that we’d be there for this powerful Full Moon Eclipse.
Perhaps many of you also felt its potency and like something has shifted and/or released. It seems as though things are moving forward and receiving a green light, after a thoughtful pause for a bit.
I shared this with a dear friend about my experience with it:
The eclipse was a powerful experience, although gentle too. We actually had opportunity to watch half of it with an astronomer and telescope, which was very cool to see it so clear and close. It was very clear in the evening and then a thin veil of clouds emerged, which made it symbolic, to me. It did not affect viewing, but I could tell there was still a very thin veil – so as if those layers are very close to full reveal collectively soon. The astronomer had about 4 telescopes set up and we could see star clusters as well, like the Pleiades. We left to go back to our Airbnb home because we had to pack and leave very early the next day for the long drive home, so I watched the second half there. The house was perfectly situated with the moon right in front of the main sliding door and windows and patio, so I watched the whole thing. It was very moving because at the same time I got word that a favorite bunny of mine (that I’ve followed on Instagram for a while) had passed right as the eclipse was darkening. I saw that he’d become ill earlier that day and I had a feeling something might happen. It was very potent to say the least, and being that he reminds me of my male bunny, Cosmo, because they had the same exact special needs and the same unconditionally loving demeanor and expressions, it hit me hard. It was quite something that this bunny, Flynn, had chosen such a powerful portal just like my bunnies Cosmo and Joy had, to depart – one on Samhain and the other on Summer Solstice Full Moon. It wasn’t random and it just clicked in a bunch of things, as well as felt like a big shift. Very heart opening and moving. So, it did ignite some memories, but also a seed of new. A lot through the bunnies, but deeper levels. I’m not sure as of yet what the new entails, but that it is a seedling awaiting choices that can ignite new timelines.
Something very profound hit me while watching the eclipse, which I haven’t felt in the past with other ones. It was special and sacred to come through rabbits, whom I hold most dear and reflective for me and my life. They, too, symbolize creative abundance and fertile impetus for the new. The Moon, of course, has a large rabbit on it. 😉
I received a big hit to my heart and core of what is a must for me to do right now.
The rest is a story yet to unfold, but will do so as I support this creative expression to live as the art of me – my creative contribution to the new beauty we’re weaving together as a collective.
New Etsy Shop Update:
Originally there was intention to start a Giveaway this past Monday 1/21, but with travels and such things shifted and Astrid has chosen this Friday 1/25 to begin the Giveaway instead. This will take place on Instagram.
There’s potential of things shifting with the shop launch date, which is set for Friday 2/1, but for now it’s still that date. I will be checking in with Astrid and my other star bunnies, as the days unfold here. I have a lot to prepare for the launch, and two items have been delayed until the 8th or sooner due to an office move my printer is undergoing.
I always trust my rabbit familiars with their impeccable and keen navigation, so I’ll defer to them if they want us to go ahead and launch on 2/1 with most of the items, adding the two later that first week of February. (Laura mentioned that the Lunar New Year is not until the 5th and the 8th the Moon enters Aries, so who knows what the bunnies have up their thumpers!)
Or, if we’ll just launch everything together when I know they will all be ready.
Either way, it’s coming up very soon and I have lots to prepare. So I’m off!
It was a wonderful trip away and I’m also happy to be back. I hope you all had a great week and that the energy of this Full Moon Eclipse has ignited a creative transformation within you too.
Whimsical Wednesdays – The Artist’s Corner: Life As Art
Hoppy Halloween and magickal Samhain to everyone! I love that this day falls on Whimsical Wednesdays – The Artist’s Corner in my new blog series. It also happens to hold a very sacred energy for me, as my special needs rabbit, Cosmo, magickally navigated his transition on this day – the thinnest veil between worlds – two years ago. This ensured his strong presence daily with me, as he is forever reborn as a star within the deep Cosmos of my heart.
In his honor I’m having 140 bulbs of special irises and daffodils, sprinkled with a small number of tulips, despite a deer favorite, planted today for Spring blossom surprises. Auspiciously, our gardener happens to have our service day today (he comes every 3 weeks) and so it aligns so perfectly. I planted the few bulbs I had last year because there weren’t that many, but with much more this time and the ground where I want them a bit tougher to manage, it’s a true gift he’ll be able to help.
Today, I also received word that a very special creation by a fellow artisan is being worked on specifically because of this auspicious timing and energy today, which is bound to make what she’s channeling for me a truly magickal piece.
And although I’m not dressing up for Halloween, the above photo captures The Rabbit Faery me in my new rabbit onesie jammies this morning with my consort, Astrid, by my side, revealing the whimsical life I live daily.
You may wonder what all of this has to do with today’s blog theme?
Well, Life as Art truly expresses the way of the artist, mindfully creating every part of life as if it were a magnificent painting, musical composition, exquisite line of prose, moving chapter, or perfectly hand-crafted vision brought to life.
And you don’t have to be an artist to create life as art. You simply have to tap into your creative energy and allow the vortex of its power to spiral and weave into all corners of your experience.
How do we do this?
With intention, with imagination, and with love.
Every little nook and cranny of life can become a masterpiece of your own creation. You can infuse your own creativity into how you craft your day, design your world, envision your goals, and express yourself.
This can be through the way you style your daily wardrobe around how you feel or what you want to say to the world about yourself.
This can be through the way you design your home or work space around what makes you most inspired, nurtured, or invigorated.
This can be through the food you make and how you infuse it with love and intention and add color and texture, as well as seasonal delights to your plate that embody specific energies you would like to infuse more into your life.
This can be through the way you plant your garden and the type of blooms and plants that will bring joy to your day and anyone who sees it.
This can be through the way you journal your to-do lists with little doodles, on special paper or whimsical notebooks, and with intention of each thing being a different color on your canvas so you’ll have a wonderful painting completed by end of the day or whenever your goals are complete.
This can be through the way you are present to every detail that shows up in your life and start to understand it as a thread in the tapestry of life, seeing how beautiful things naturally weave together.
This can be through imagination and meditation the way you allow yourself to dream a few minutes each day and envision the possibilities.
And so on….
All of these and more can be ways to experience life as art and you discover the elements of alchemy at work that can seed new blossoming potentials.
The more you do this, the more you find reflections of what you love drawn into your life.
And the more you find the journey fun and adventurous.
It’s a way to be a co-creator and to understand the power of creativity to change your life.
And from here, the sky’s not the limit, but instead opens you to limitless possibilities.
A short, but hopefully sweet share to add to the goodies some of you may enjoy on this Halloween celebration.
“I was born on the night of Samhain, when the barrier between the worlds is whisper-thin and when magic, old magic, sings its heady and sweet song to anyone who cares to hear it.” ~Carolyn MacCullough
