Fiona Broome ~ How Shakespeare changed everything
Yay Shakespeare and Faeries! A fun post amidst all of the intensities.
My name’s origin comes from Titania, so you might say I have a wee bit of a magickal connection to the Fae. And having been to Ireland, I have literally skipped with the Faeries and immersed in the “lore of the Fae” as Fiona Broome shares.
Thank you Laura (my Faery sister) and Fiona for such a light and mischievous-evoking post.
I Haven’t Forgotten the Way, Have You?
“There is such a place as fairyland – but only children can find the way to it. And they do not know that it is fairyland until they have grown so old that they forget the way. One bitter day, when they seek it and cannot find it, they realize what they have lost; and that is the tragedy of life. On that day the gates of Eden are shut behind them and the age of gold is over. Henceforth they must dwell in the common light of common day. Only a few, who remain children at heart, can ever find that fair, lost path again; and blessed are they above mortals. They, and only they, can bring us tidings from that dear country where we once sojourned and from which we must evermore be exiles. The world calls them its singers and poets and artists and story-tellers; but they are just people who have never forgotten the way to fairyland.” ~L.M. Montgomery, The Story Girl
Enchantment Is as Enchantment Does
A couple of weeks ago while visiting friends, I was immediately drawn in by these enchanted lilac succulents in their front yard garden (pictured above). It was like a moth to a flame, or in this case a faerie to a flame. 😉
I was literally overwhelmed with the magickal resonance they gave off. Our friends have a beautiful garden they’ve lovingly cultivated front and back of their house, but these lilac beauties were simply mesmerizing. And I wondered how many others actually noticed them when they passed by.
Their presence in the garden was a mutual celebration among the other plants around and the whole garden was enhanced by this shared comradery of joy. A lovely reflection for humanity and how we each touch and enhance one another’s lives by the gifts we each bring to the co-creation shared.
These beauties reminded me of times long ago, the places in my dreams that trigger memories of home, visions in my imagination, the muses for my paintings, the way my heart feels, but more simply….that enchantment is an experience of heightened awareness, tuned in to its presence that is reflected from within us.
When you surrender to the captivation of life, you live a charmed life. And not only do you experience life as enchanted, but enchanting things show up as an extension of your created reality.
I see the magickal and enchanted because I believe in it, I create it, I live it, and I’m still awake in that old childhood dreamtime.
Enchantment is a fragrant friend that tickles your senses and leaves you intoxicated by life.
“We wait, starving for moments of high magic to inspire us, but life is full of common enchantment waiting for our alchemists eyes to notice.” ~Jacob Nordby
The simplest of things can be the sweetest reminders and the greatest of divinely timed inspirations. And it is eternally present awaiting YOUR engaged presence.
“So, I said, when does the enchantment start? We were sitting side by side, facing the mountains. “It started when the earth was born.” Her eyes were closed. Her face was golden in the setting sun. “It never stops. It is, always. It’s just here.” ~Jerry Spinelli
But don’t just take my word for it….experience it for yourself. Start imagining life as you would like to experience it, start living as if it is already your experience, and be more mindful of each moment that is reflected to you. I may just be crazy, but I sure am creating a joyful reality. 😉
“When someone from Faerie ever tells you something, you can see it – you can feel it – you believe it. For the true value of enchantment and its glamour, is in the imparting of a truth – by truth’s own persuasion it makes itself real.” ~Gabriel Brunsdon
Enchantment by Valerie Dohren:
Enchantment steals my weary heart
When`er I see the golden dawn
Which so does set my soul aflame
That I should never be forlorn
To see the beauty in a smile
To feel such magic all around
Delights me with the sweetest joy
In every sight, in every sound
Enchantment plays upon the soul
To captivate, such charms convey
All heavens wonders that we see
Around us through each passing day
Enchantment be the stars that shine
Enchantment is the glowing moon
Enchantment in the twisting vine
Enchantment through the sun at noon
Enchantment be the rambling brook
Enchantment is the rolling sea
Enchantment in the eyes that look
Enchantment through the eyes that see
Quick Tips for Interacting with Faeries
Of course I must repost this one from my Faery sis, Miss Laura Bruno. This is a wonderful post on interacting with Faeries and after today’s road trip journey and passing several places that were called “The Portal” along the way, this feels fitting, as if I’ve traveled through one to reach the enchanted mountain and forest area of Mammoth Lakes. Portals are doorways into other dimensional and worldly experiences. I definitely feel in one right now that is outside time and space of my life as I know it. I also follow the Faery rules in life (and have as far back as I can remember) particularly the one about “A person’s word is bond.” These are words I live by and take to heart in all of my interactions. I hope you enjoy this post and that it will bring you in closer reverence and awe of the realm of the Faeries.
Epoch Times ~ 6 Credible Elf Incidents?
Love it! Things that make you go “hmmmmm”. Whether you believe in the Faery Realm and “Little People” or not, you’ll likely find this interesting. I, for one, believe and am giggling at the veils lowering more each day. Thanks Faery sis, Laura, for the fun share.
A Walk in the Faery Realm
All of yesterday I was listening to one of my favorite Celtic music CD’s, “Celtic Lamentations” by Aine Minogue while I was flowing through my work day and especially while I was painting. It felt like the perfect mirroring energy for the day, my work, and even the grey clouded skies that reminded me of some of the mystical days I spent in Ireland in 2008. (I’m continuing in this vein today with another favorite CD, “A Celtic Tale” by Mychael Danna and Jeff Danna, as the sun is shining quite warmly, in contrast to yesterday)
As I just wrote 2008, I got a huge flash of that year’s experiences, which were really potent in my life. 2008 was a big year for me in SO many ways – experiencing the passing of my twin soul Nestor, the end to a marriage, powerful healing integration that took me from being depleted to feeling optimal, the onset of major life path shifts and new beginnings in all areas of my life that continue in expanded form today, and much traveling including Ireland, England, the Bahamas, Sedona, and Peru, to name a few. Hmmm, no wonder the title of that CD seems very fitting to many things. 😉
And remembering such a powerfully transformative year holds its own significance and messages for the current energy field we are collectively moving through. It was one of my years where I demonstrated my own strength in adversity, came from the depths of nearly complete physical deterioration to rebirth, and reminded me of how resilient we are and how capable we are to shift even the worst experiences into something beautifully empowering. It also reminded me how my unwavering beliefs, openness, and connections to the “magickal realms” were my life-savers and supportive guides.
This is the experiential season of magickal alchemy and one beautiful way to embrace your abilities with this is to connect with the elemental realm and use your heart key to walk through the dimensional doorways of experience.
In resonance with yesterday’s post by my special faery friend, Laura Bruno, who shared a short, really interesting and enchanting documentary, six-part series: The Fairy Path (you can watch them at the link and the other four parts are listed in the comment section) about faeries, I instantly was transported to some of my own enchanting moments and it called up my wanting to share a few of my photos with you from some of the places I’ve visited that aligned with the energy in the videos. These photos capture, what I feel to be, enchanted elemental and faery realms, including doorways to these other dimensions by which they/we can travel through. I strongly felt the presence of the faeries at these places, which include Ireland (a good majority of the photos are from here), Oregon, Sedona, Maui, Toronto, Tahoe Meadows, and Santa Monica.
And as you explore the images, I’ve included some beautiful Celtic music to accompany you on your journey into the Magickal Realm of the Fey. I suggest you play the music and allow it to take you on a journey as you feel into the photos for the faery energy that is present and explore what you can “see.”
There is a whole world of illuminated wonder you can invite into your experience that has transformative healing light to share with you. The faeries have much to offer in way of teaching gifts. Some helping you to reconnect with the innocence, purity, and joy within so you can experience a more playful and lighter life. Some are genius weavers of dreams and will teach you how to weave your own new reality forms from your creative heart desires. Others may be supporting your integrative healing or helping you to empower your gifts so you can be of service in partnership with them in the healing of Mother Earth/Gaia and all of her beautiful animals and plants.
However you choose to dance with the faeries, do so from a true and vulnerable heart and you will come to experience their delicate ways of powerful awakening that will assist in clearing the illusions and veils. You will also reconnect with more of your organic authenticity and find the rhythm of your heart beating with that of Earth’s.
Everything will feel possible. All things you desire become probable, if you truly walk (or fly) in integrity and responsibility of a consciously aware and “light” foot. Believe. Be True.
Samhain Blessings!
A perfect, magickal, enchanting way to welcome today. Thank you my sweet Laura for sharing this piece of peace for our beloved Gaia <3
Faery Stones & Crosses – Staurolite, Star Bright….
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
Like the nursery rhyme, enchantment is ours for the wishing and with the heart-full wishing comes the experiencing.
Two of my magical finds last weekend at the Gem Faire, were connected with a realm I live and love – the Faery Realm. I’m constantly amused with the synchronicity of crystals and stones finding their way to me and their beautiful timing.
My two finds are what are known as a Faery Stone and a Faery Cross (Staurolite). These two new friends are bringing extra enchantment into my experience and are making themselves at home while we reacquaint ourselves. They are enjoying my mini Quartz Faery Wand from Sedona (which doubles as a pendant) and the three of them are conspiring to bring more magic and fun into the next phase of things here for me.
They are already playing their tricks, as just when I started writing this, my computer connection went out and I had to jump the connection back up. Another fun experience was when I went outside to photograph them in my Faery yard and immediately a hummingbird appeared fluttering right by the hummingbird post in the ground and when I placed my wand on the small Christmas tree we have potted in the yard, a crow appeared overhead on a post and cawed down at me. I turned for an instant back at my wand to place it on the branches, and then turned back and the crow was gone.
And interestingly, this morning, right across the street was parked a lovely, large RV and this has to do with a vision I have for when the timing aligns, to be living and traveling around in one. So that was quite synchronous, as it has never been there before and its blank white outer shell felt like a blank canvas to create from. 🙂
Anyway, the yard here receives tons of small bird visits daily, hummingbirds, crows and ravens, as well as insects like fuzzy centipedes, spiders and butterflies, and earth worms abound. I found a beautiful web today on one of the Star Jasmine that was perfectly cosmic.
The yard has completely transformed into a sweet enchanted haven amidst suburbia.
And these Faery friends are enchanting my experience and office right now, as I write, sitting perched against my rose heart frame of Nestor with my wand right in front of me. (Keeping them close by creates a powerful positive energy) She and I have journeyed much in my meditations and beyond in the magical realms beyond the veils.
I always love to share about the crystals and stones I find, embodying beautiful vibrational presence for the energies and experiences we are having, and this lovely Faery Stone and Cross are no exception.
I hope you enjoy learning about them and perhaps you might welcome one into your life as well, as I find them to assist in charming your life.
Staurolite:
Staurolite, also known as the Faery Cross, when it naturally occurs twinned in a cross formation, is known to be a talisman of good luck, supports stress, anxiety, fear, and depression relief, and connects and balances between the physical, astral, and extra-terrestrial planes. They can occur as more angled x’s or can embody a perfect cross – the crosses are more rare and therefore more valuable (even for such a tiny one as the one you see here). Interestingly, they are thought to be associated with the astrological sign of Pisces.
As you can imagine, their energy helps you to connect with the Faery and Devic kingdom, nature spirits, elemental beings… as well as to the energy of the Earth, nature, and all of her wonderful creatures, helping you to gain greater appreciation and sweetness for all of life. Historically, Staurolite crystals have been used for white magic to empower alignment with natural energy and are very healing, calming, centering, and spiritually grounding (as they help you connect with the electromagnetic field of the Earth). They are excellent for support with addictions (especially smoking), cultivating conservation (making you more aware of your actions and how you treat the Earth), increasing relaxation and peacefulness, helping to move energy down through the Root Chakra to the Earth Chakra and Mother Gaia (leaving you feeling safe, less fearful, and protected), soothing to your emotions and overall well-being, helpful for finding lost objects and using your time more wisely, negates a tendency to overwork and to over commit energy, enhances and strengthens rituals, and assists treatment of cellular disorders and growths, increasing assimilation of carbohydrates.
Having Staurolite with you can also benefit those close around you, as it fosters a connection to the natural world in anyone who feels its resonance.
Staurolite are found in Switzerland, Russia, Australia, Brazil, and the USA. The one I have comes from Russia – seems fitting with my Russian rooted name Tania. They vary in color depending on where they come from – ranging from red brown, dark brown, or brownish black in color. They are prismatic and I find mine to have a sparkly sheen. The meaning of the name comes from the Greek word Stauros, which means cross, but they don’t always form clear crosses, yet the vibration is the same regardless if it embodies a perfect cross or not.
There are many very old stories and historical tales about Staurolite and how they have been used over time. Historically, they are known to have been in use since at least the time of Christ, but to others much longer. 🙂 One story says they were used in the Crusades to aid Richard the Lionheart to heal and another says that they were first formed when the faeries cried when they heard of the news of Christ’s physical death, which is why they form in a cross.
Tales, or truth, the energy of these stones is known to be helpful for anyone who would like to work more with beings of the natural world, and to contact other beings here on Earth, including animal and plant spirits – and of course faeries, hence their name.
Interestingly, stories tell that they are also known as a symbol of Christ because of the cross within the stone and thus can help you to embrace the gifts brought through this Christ Consciousness. So they cover both sides of the spectrum of the magical and faith realms.
I love how they emanate a strong Heart Chakra energy and so they resonate deeply with bringing more unconditional love for all of life.
Faery Stones:
Faery Stones are another beautifully magical friend that are native to northern Quebec, Canada. These “natural sculpture” calcium carbonate stones are made of fine argillaceous sand with limestone cement and were formed in permeable layers of a basin created by receding glaciers, where water, laden with carbon dioxide flowed through the rock and dissolved the limestone it contained. Then under different pressure and temperature conditions the lime deposits left in the lakes from the receded glaciers were sculpted by the waterway flows into rounded pebbles and abstract forms of natural art. They are then carried by the water and deposited along the shores of lakes and rivers – one of the main rivers where Faery Stones are found is the Harricana River (second longest in Canada). Some have small traces of prints left by microorganisms, miniature worms, or organic remains that were fossilized millions of years ago.
These smooth pebble-like stones (so inviting and comforting to hold) are each very individually unique and to the Indians that first came up the rivers and discovered them, looked like biscuits. This is the reason for the river’s name, “Harricana,” which means “river of the biscuits” in the Algonquin language. The Indians have called them Faery Stones and often carried them as lucky charms on their expeditions and the most beautiful of these stones were offerings between lovers. The biggest specimens were seen as protective and sacred and so they were given a place of honor in their homes.
Faery Stones are said to “adopt” you and act as a little helper to assist with taking care of details and providing safe, nurturing energy in your space where you can work freely both spiritually and practically. They also have a strong connection to the Earth and impart consciousness about caring for her and all living beings.
Healing properties of Faery Stones include bringing good health, prosperity, protection, peace and calming, grounding, ease depression and loneliness, release stress, dispel negative energy, thoughts, anger and jealousy, are excellent for radiation and chemotherapy patients, reduces heat from fever, helps to balance water and hot flashes in women with menopause, balances calcium in the body, helps heal wounds, bruises, and reduce inflammation, encourages friendship and love between parent and child, and lovingly helps bring back the inner child in us, making us feel happy and joyful, and focused on cherishing precious moments.
The sweet little Faery Stone that “adopted” me, to me, looks like a round little cherub with wings to the left and even seems to have a smiling face on the front along with tons of markings all over it. 🙂 And on the back, I was taken with all of the impressions left in it that look almost like Runes and encodings that are almost map-like or creating a diagram and formula.
This one seemed to jump out at me in the pile I was looking in, having been hidden under all the others. And came to me when I had returned to the Faire a second time on impulse, with only 20 minutes left before closing and left with just this and a spectacular, perfect Chrysocolla piece that is for my dear friend Jenny in Bimini, who had asked if I ever see something for her to get it. That had its own synchronous story including a Poseidon-looking man I purchased it from.
I love following my heart.
And I LOVE my new Faery friends. If you ever come across these sweet Faery stones, perhaps you too will welcome their enchantment into your life. A beautiful way to create more peace and Earth compassion, not to mention invite some magic into your daily experience.
And of course, healthy, organic practices and creating your own nature sanctuary, even if just a small area of a window sill, balcony, area of your room, home, decorated potted plant, or yard and garden if you have one, can be a way to invite the nature spirits into your life and help you tune in to that Earthy connection that supports overall well being. You will also welcome animals, birds and faeries when you create organic beauty, while keeping the environment clean and our Earth and bodies away from harm.
A Magickal Journey of Healing Activation in Lake Tahoe and Reno
I just returned from a long weekend to visit my family and places close to my heart. I was excited both to return and to share with friends for the first time. It had been a while since visiting Reno and Lake Tahoe (two places I used to live – Reno for a year and Lake Tahoe for 3 years – before moving back to Southern California), other than the quickie, whirlwind trip I made in the Spring to pick up my paintings and some items my parents were storing for me, with Allison (partner in Joyful Earth Crystals). I have found that the Reno/Tahoe area is one of those energy vortex areas similar to Sedona that will either draw you in or spit you out and you either resonate with it or you don’t. Laura Bruno and I have both experienced this and for a while she was actually banished from Reno. (Laura and I met in Reno, while I was living in Tahoe and she in Reno, but we both have lived in both areas in N. Nevada, including have both lived in Sedona and Seattle and California – we seem to be on the same trajectory) I loved living both in Reno and Tahoe, but especially have missed Lake Tahoe, since on the last trip there with Allison, we were only allowed to come in, get my stuff and quickly exit before a major storm was hitting that would have trapped us. Even when we first landed that time, the sky was so ominous and it wasn’t inviting as it usually energetically is.
So I was never able to show Allison my beloved Lake Tahoe on that trip, nor spend time there, since I’d moved. So I’ve been anxious to return indeed. That all changed this last weekend and the energy was completely different! In fact, it seems Lake Tahoe did not want me leaving, period.
I love visiting my family, as I am very close to them and actually lived at home until I was 29 (and even returned to living with them briefly around 31). We have a very different dynamic to our family and while it has its interesting twists, turns and challenges, we have this bond and unspoken commitment to work together on stuff – at first, the parents teaching the kids and in our late teens to early twenties having that reverse.
My parents run the best unofficial B & B there is. They have a lovely Zen feeling home, all Feng Shui by my mom and brother with beautiful front and back faery yards, between a view of Mt. Rose and the Sierra Nevadas and the Virginia Range its nestled up against. Another lovely gift their home provides is the ability to connect with the wild mustangs that roam down from the Virginia Range, right through the wash beside and behind their home and all along the marshlands that surround them. We were blessed on this trip, twice, to see one of the groups of wild mustangs – 6 of them – that wander through. So beautiful! My mom is a great cook, and although not vegan, she always makes us awesome vegan meals, makes sure to stock up on things we need for our smoothies and snacks, and they even got a beautiful vegan chocolate cake with raspberry filling from Whole Foods for their 44th Anniversary so that we could all celebrate with yummyness. (Our trip this time happened to coincide with their anniversary, which was very cool.) And my parents home is a sanctuary to our beloved little ones who are no longer physically with us – Nestor and Chuck – as my parents have all of their photos in the family room (including photos of Joy and Gaia, their current grandchildren), Chuck has a special burial in the yard, and Nestor’s photos can be found in several rooms. 🙂

some of beautiful flowers my dad picks daily to make lovely bouquets for the house – he loves cultivating his garden and mom works the energies, loving to connect with her faery friends

Nestie, Joy, Gaia, and Chuck – all of my parent’s grandchildren being honored on their library shelves in the family room (I love how you can see some of the many New Age books my mom has that they are near. I see atlantis, numerology and crystal bible – the rest are on the upper shelves)

Peacock and Buddha statue entry – I loved how the glass front door to the house showed in the peacock painting, like a secret portal within and how my left side appears coming from that glass portal doorway as i take the photo
Our trip kicked off with a couple of days traveling up and around the lake, since it’s only about 45 minutes (or less, by Tania mountain driving time) from my parent’s home and easy to drive to, and ended, as it began, in Reno. We enjoyed an awesome lunch of creative, vegan sushi and did some hiking, then time spent down by the water to connect with the energy. Allison and I split off from our partners to go to the water’s edge and relax for a bit, before we all headed to the Shakespeare festival that evening at Sand Harbor, which is a cool outdoor venue with the lake as the backdrop. There ended up being reason for us to be there alone.
I was so happy to show her one of my spots I love and to dip my feet and legs in the refreshing and magical waters. Faery sparkles lit up the water’s surface, as usual. The lake was very beautiful and just as I remembered her. We were down by the water not long before I discovered my parent’s car key was gone. Interestingly, when we were at the sushi place in Incline Village, I had taken a photo of one of the yummy rolls and the car key, unintentionally ended up in the photo. I jokingly posted it on facebook, saying “the key to yummyness.” This same key turned out to be the key to much more!
I had placed the key on the rock while taking in the lake and when we got up it disappeared, even though it sat right next to our two cell phones and they were still there, but no key. Simultaneously, a wave had come in from a passing boat and so it seems the waters swallowed up the key. We looked and looked, even with the help of others that were around, but to no avail. It likely is trapped in crevices of the rocks under the water where we could not see or reach. It became clear the lake was sending me a message – she did not want me to leave and where last time we were kept away from her, this time we were being held her willing captives. 🙂 A very powerful sign for me indeed.
I had to call my parents to save us – requiring them to drive up and down the mountain just to bring us a spare key, but they did and in the process of waiting we had more time with the lake and chances to take some photos that revealed some interesting energies indeed, once Chris (Allison’s hubby) joined us by taking a taxi to where we were.
As you can see in these photos, there is a very clear hexagon energy that appears on my torso with an orb of light coming off of it. It seems to move from these two photos, but the photo taken directly after it shows nothing. We noticed that several photos taken at the lake over the two days displayed some interesting energies.

Close up of the Hexagon and orb energy on and around me – this is the second photo taken and you can see how it moved from it’s more centered-on-me position in the previous photo

this is the third photo taken after the first two with hexagon and orb, but as you can see, it is now gone.
The lake has always been very magickal and healing for me during some of the most major time periods of my life. One full moon, when my mom came to visit me, she and I had gone down to the lake at nearly midnight following her arrival from the airport, and we did a special sacred ceremony for Nestor who had recently passed. We spread a tiny bit of her ashes in the lake (something I have done at many of the sacred energy vortex places in the world where I have traveled to imbue her magic into the Earth and to assist healing and activation through these energy spots with our depth of connection and her very potent energy). So the lake is alive with Nestor’s energy, along with the both powerful and calming energy she already possesses. I get the sense this hexagon energy somehow is connected with her and even shows up in a pale blue color – blue being a color connected with her and me.

me and my beloved lake tahoe – see how the energy coming off of my crown chakra looking like the faery sparkles on the water are radiating towards it or from it
I can’t begin to tell you how lovely it feels to sit by the water and have my feet in it. Very healing indeed and a healing actually did take place.
I’ve written about breaking my foot twice over the last several months and experiencing tailbone issues that I never have in the 11 years since breaking my tailbone. I knew it was connected to things I have been processing and integrating, along with all the shifts and energies currently taking place that are recalibrating and affecting our bodies. But this new daily pain from (in terms of physical trigger explanation) what seemed to be compression and it being either out of place, not healed properly, etc. (coccydynia it’s called that can create excruciating pains and problems from sitting down, getting up and any sitting/laying maneuvers that put pressures on the coccyx area) has been a last reminder of energies to focus on.
I had been working on the other levels to integrate and balance the issue and even had a special cushion to sit on to assist physically, as I don’t let anything bring me down or prevent me from living my life and doing what I am here to do. Not even my foot stopped me and it now is completely healed after I’ve integrated the energy behind it. I was ready to try physical things to help my tailbone, very reluctantly I might say, as I just didn’t really want to go that route unless I needed to. My plan was to look into either acupuncture or chiropractic support and had just gotten info from Allison on a good acupuncturist in the area to contact when back from this trip. Secretly though, I was not liking the idea and intending I wouldn’t have to go.
Well, it seemed I got my wish. As for now, it appears that I have received a miraculous 360 with it, just from the one visit where I lost the key. I didn’t notice it until we went to the Shakespeare show and were sitting in the plastic chairs on the sand hill. Not the most comfortable chairs and to top it off mine was sitting half flat and on a rise. Normally something like this without my special cushion would be very bad for my tailbone and getting up would have been horrible pain. But when we did get up, I was suddenly amazed to find I had no pain. And this continued on the drive home – no pain.

allison and i goofing off at the waterfall in above emerald bay – see a rainbow energy to the left of me

we took several shots and the energy persisted but moved – see how it now is more golden and has moved directly over us and in that root chakra area – notice we haven’t moved our position, but the energy has. the energy here over the root chakra, the previous hexagons over my lower torso area overlapping the lower chakras – definitely something assisting my healing

111!! activate and manifest! – i didn’t notice how bizarre this photo of me was until a good friend of mine on facebook pointed out that it was weird how this photo makes it appear i have no tattoos and how odd that is, since they have become so much a part of me. very strange! i even look different energetically in this photo. hmmmm
The next day we visited the lake again, spending time all around it to show Allison and Chris the lake since they never have experienced it, and I took some time just for me to sit with my legs in the water at the end of the floating pier bar of the Lone Eagle connected with the Hyatt in Incline Village. We even got to explore an area I hadn’t where a waterfall was at Emerald Bay, which was beautiful. So that was great and we managed to get some shots there that showed some more energies. Allison also took a fall for me, as we climbed down some rocks to get to the waterfall. If I had gone first, we both feel I may have easily slipped like she did and either hurt my foot or tailbone again, but she went first and buffered the fall more than I likely would have. Thank you Allison! And again, after the whole day of driving and sitting, still none of the compression pain. Of course I kept testing it and rocking back and forth on my butt to see what was up. 😉 But the regular daily feelings I had experienced for months had disappeared.
I have noticed that it seems an adjustment naturally took place, as there is only a tiny bit of bruising kind of feeling, but it has moved in its location and it is not a pain or compression feeling. So it seems, for now, my tailbone is in its process of integrating and balancing this new healing it has received. yay!

kayaking through the tahoe waters and prehistoric stones – view from my vantage point at head of the kayak
Needless to say, the time we all spent at the lake was really wonderful and made me realize how much I love and miss it. Allison and I both found very similar stones, each on our own while stone hunting at a beach we all kayaked to, so we each took a little Tahoe home with us. Kayaking the lake waters was amazing and I just loved the refreshing, silky feel of the water on my skin and to be on the water itself. Reminds me time and time again just how much of a water sign – Pisces – I am and that I belong in and on it. I used to dream of and intend to live on a boat, as sea sickness is not something I ever experience and to be in a floating mode all the time, is so natural to me. Perhaps that intention will one day come true, like it almost did twice before. The first time the thought came to me was when I lived in Sedona and I have found that many things that have come to me while living there, have been telling of future things. Who knows!
I was so happy that Allison and Chris had a chance to connect with my brother while visiting too. He provided them mini astrological readings about their personal placements in their charts, as well as other information and entertainment. LOL! They would be up until 2 or 3 am each night receiving downloads of infos (I had to get to bed earlier and not stick around like I normally would, as I could tell how much I was processes, healing, and integrating things, which was making my body need extra rest and feeling depleted from the previous week and these super highs I kept getting with rushes of massive energy that would be like an amped up batter charge boost. Then I’d kind of energetically crash like my computer and cell – another reminder for the need of nourishment, rest and balance while all these varying degrees of energy waves roll in and out). It was all meant to be, as I feel it was important for Allison and Chris to connect and receive the information from my brother and that for me, I needed to be doing my inner processing in dream time.
The first night we were there was the only night I stayed up really late. I stayed up until 2:30am with my mom and brother discussing energetic things that I also feel were tied to the Root Chakra/tailbone stuff and that by my going to even greater depths in reiterating and realizing things in order to share with them (my mom in particular) I feel that that also aided in my healing process with my tailbone. Along with the Lake energies and whatever the hexagon energy on my torso was connected with, and feelings of integration and balance for the entire trip that I was working with – these all made for quite an experience. I found myself holding balancing energy and helping to shift energies. I also became extremely wiped out from all the intensities of things transforming. I have also been finding more and more magick than normal taking place and my intuition getting stronger and more clear. This is definitely a time to follow nudges, as alignments are taking place more than ever. Allison has also been experiencing this, as of late. (Synchronously, I had everyone pull a tarot card on the onset of us all coming together the first night, to set the stage for where our energies were at, and I pulled the Justice card #11 – equilibrium, harmony, restoration of balance, neutrality, order restored, accountability, integrity, carefully considered choices, clear vision – themes I was energetically working with). The ability to find “peace in chaos,” is a theme and motto I always say.
We definitely all received a lot of activations and empowering new perspectives and experiences, relative to each, and upon our last day we visited a favorite crystal store where we each were drawn to one special crystal that called to us to take home. (Actually, Dave got two cool fossil stones, millions of years old) Mine is this lovely smokey quartz heart with amazing rainbows throughout (only one pictured here). Seemed perfect, as among other things, smokey quartz is good for strengthening adrenals (always been an issue for me), balances, is mildly sedative and relaxing, initiates movement of kundalini, dissipates and subconscious blocks, grounds, centers, great for meditation, dream awareness and channeling abilities, and is connected with the root, naval and solar plexus. 🙂
My brother and I had talked a lot about the lower chakras, but the Root in particular and how important these energies are to integrative healing and is a piece that many forget in their quest for spiritual awareness. Reconnecting with the “Root” of who we are on deep levels and understanding the energies of this Chakra can help to liberate us.

path way to the otherworld – tahoe meadows – love the energy on the right of path that showed in the grass – faeries welcoming me as i enter!

this tree was so awesome up at lake tahoe – reminds me of the Ents in Lord of the Rings – ancient shepherds of the forest and allies of the Free Peoples of Middle-earth during the War of the Ring – talking tree entities – this one was so alive and ready to walk forward – notice his two arms – one extended to the left and one curved and raised to the sky
I was happy that Allison and Chris got a chance to experience and see everything, including having the wild mustangs come visit the house twice – yay! For me, I wish the trip could have been extended, but at the same time, I feel the time spent there and all that took place was perfect in every way. I do hope to return again and spend more time in the faery garden of my parent’s home and up at the lake and in the faery forests. I was happy to hike Tahoe Meadows the morning before we left. Truly a gorgeous faery land, as you can see from the photos. Lake Tahoe and the mountains and forests surrounding are truly one of the most beautiful and magickal places in the world and energetically one of the resonating spots for me.
Upon returning I am inspired with new energy to finish a tattoo for a special client I have been working on in pieces. I have not rushed it, as I have learned to do, as I know the energies I experience and timely shifts assist in the creation process. Same goes for the #5 painting that has been sitting waiting in unfinished form for the last 3 weeks. I now know I can finish it as well and the energy received, was what has been needed from my last two trips to mountain/lake/forest areas in Tahoe and Big Bear.
I will continue to work on the integration and balancing energies, which do ultimately assist in helping one to thrive in any experience no matter what and to diffuse anything that is presented to us as well. I believe my little smokey quartz heart will be assisting this process to work through my heart and clear remnants of things to continue moving forward in wholeness, rather than with any feet or parts left behind in another reality that is not the one I am intent on continuing to create and experience.
Love and Magick to everyone!!!
Creating a Sacred Sanctuary – Your Personal Space Makes a Difference
As I live a very richly symbolic life, of course I find it very important the things I choose to surround myself with on a daily basis. This includes the things I choose to wear and adorn myself with, put in my body, people I choose to surround myself with, and especially the daily work space I spend most of my time in to channel all of the creations I share with the world. I feel that it crucial to have a space that you can make your own, even if just a corner of a room, or your desk, and to decorate and surround it with the things that are energizing and supportive to you to aid in your daily inspiration and empowerment to your highest potential.
My new home is very energizing and supportive to the things I want to create more of in my life, but I am extra grateful for and in love with my sacred office/studio space I have created for myself. It is my most favorite space to date and I am enjoying the energy of all that I have surrounded myself with here. It is the first time that all of my most potent crystal friends are all in one room (minus two 150 lb crystals that we have in the dining room) and I can commune with them daily, along with specially selected pieces, statues and decor choices. Care was taken in choosing just the right ones that would be in my life, as well as with the other adornments and symbols I’ve put into the interior decoration of this very potent room.
One of which is a beautiful tapestry by artist, Nene Thomas. This tapestry is created from her limited edition painting, and she also has a new doll out called “Emerald Enticement” that was released and produced by the Bradford/Hamilton collection. (One cool synchronicity after another being that my company name is “Emerald Bridge” and I have a strong connection to the Faery realm and Dragons). This beautiful tapestry fills one wall that faces where I sit each day at my desk and drawing table and draws in both earthy and magical qualities of my beloved Faery realm. I am summoning in the Faery Queen Astranaithes who resides over my daily domain each time I sit across this portal tapestry doorway and can feel myself drawn into the magical forest realm. Earth magic is perfectly energizing for me right now and it is no wonder I was called to this tapestry piece. It is great energy for the plans of action I am intending and the wave of creations about to come forth.
Here is a cropped close up of the about 6’x10′ tapestry and a short biography description of Astranaithes from Nene’s husband, Steven C. Plagman.
“The Dragon Witch known as Astranaithes is the oldest and wisest member of her immortal race, and it is to her that all other Dragon Witches look for guidance and wisdom. No one knows for certain how long she’s been alive, for her birth pre-dates the written record, but what is known is that she was old long before the others of her kind began to emerge. It is said that “with age comes wisdom,” and that is certainly true in her case, for she has earned no less than four names among her own kind.
Astranaithes is known alternately as “The Queen of Fate”, “The Queen of Wisdom,” “The Norn Queen” and “the Oracle.” Though she could easily be a ruler among her kind as is Kaizenerimakagi, the Lord of Snows, Astranaithes has chosen instead to live a solitary existence, preferring a quiet, modest life in a hidden grotto far from civilization to the trappings of worldly power. Despite this voluntary solitude, her stature has given her great influence, and she is always willing to aid others when her help is requested, or when she senses the need.
As attuned as she is to the winds of fate, she can always sense the coming of the most powerful creature in existence: the Harbinger. It is only when a potential Harbinger emerges that she sets aside her peaceful ways and becomes more active in the shaping of events, in order to guide the Harbinger to where it must eventually go to complete its task, whatever that task may be. Furthermore, she knows better than anyone the true power of the Harbinger, and that after it emerges it is no less than a force of nature, and as such it cannot truly be controlled…it can only be stopped. To that end she also guides the opposite force of the Harbinger, the Champion, to his or her destiny, and brings them together when the fates decree.”
I was just going over Feng Shui yesterday with my mom and discovered some crazy cool synchronicities with how I intuitively set up my room for the perfect supportive energy towards what I am creating. It is so amazing to uncover the magic we intuitively already know when we listen to our hearts. All the things close to my heart I have surrounding me daily in my space. And with all this supercharged energy, it sure is important to keep grounded, like yesterday’s post was about, as otherwise I’d be swirling out in the Cosmos somewhere with all the amped up energies in here! So I am anchoring some grounding techniques, meditations, earthy food choices, keeping my grounding crystals and rabbit love, Joy, near by, as well as embarking on an exciting venture of crystal and gem elixirs to add to my daily potions of balanced healing magic.
Whatever you can do to create your own sacred sanctuary really DOES make a vital difference in your daily energy that supports your intentions. What one thing can you do today, to start empowering your personal space more? It is an easy thing to do and an invaluable step that will help your desired direction.
