Hunkering Down Into Essence & Being ~ Reverence to the Nature of You

Life is Both Fragile & Miraculous

Life is both fragile and miraculous.

I’m reminded of the miracle that each day presents us, as I think of all the things we take for granted and cast aside in favor of a race towards something more.

The breath I take, the way every cell in my body communicates to the others and knows just how to work together in synergy, the tiny heart beats of my little ones, how a baby grows within a mother’s womb, how I can choose anything I want in any moment to feel, how gravity allows me to walk on the Earth’s surface, the crystals that sit in front of me that somehow grew into these amazing Earth jewels, how each bird knows their own song, the way the seasons come and go, how Earth renews herself, how my plants shift from day to day and vegetables and flowers grow overnight…all of this and SO much more are miraculous experiences consistently happening in and around us.

Last night I received a message that a friend of mine I’d met in Bimini, 2009 on my first trip there to swim with the dolphins – who just so happens to interestingly share my same birthday of February 26th (different year) and is a fellow artist and spiritual healing arts facilitator – has been struck down with a rare and highly aggressive inflammatory breast cancer with bone metastases that has rapidly been wreaking havoc on her body in all ways. She’s only in her 30’s and lives quite a magickal and joyous life with her husband on one of the Hawaiian islands.

Healing prayers and support are going out to her to provide her soul with opportunity for another miracle in what ever way she chooses.

This reminds you of the fragility of life and while she may have her own soul path, which she only knows, it’s a strong nudge for having gratitude on all accounts and living each day with conscious awareness and from your heart’s joy.

In this way, you get to experience the richness of life always and get the most out of your time here on Earth. And when your time comes, as it will for all of us, you will be able to ride that wave with peace in your heart, feeling fulfilled.

So many souls continue to move on these days both in human and animal bodies, as a new paradigm reality is anchoring.

How do you want to be living your life while you ARE STILL here on Earth?

If the emotions you’re feeling are not fueling the life that truly would bring you peace of heart and soul, then maybe it’s time to move through them so that you can feel what’s on the other side awaiting you.

Holding on to and blocking your energy with anger, regret, repression, disappointment of what you don’t think you have, holding grudges, wishing for personal justice, drowning in sorrow, sadness, competitiveness, needs to prove yourself, holding yourself back until some perfect scenario happens…..isn’t going to create what you want, although has been the growth opportunity created to help catapult you into a greater, deeper, and richer experience of you.

sunflowersMy two Heirloom Mammoth Greystripe Sunflowers, which I planted from seed and transplanted from my Garden Tower out front, have flourished. One of the plants is 41 inches tall. It is actually holding up quite well on its own, although I noticed some drooping starting, so I harnessed it to a large stake to ensure it keeps reaching up to the Sun with ease.

sunflowerOne has fully bloomed, just yesterday.

sunflower3And the tallest one is just opening today. She’ll probably be in full bloom tomorrow.

Sunflowers are my favorite flower and it’s been incredibly fulfilling to grow these two beauties from seed.

sunflower2It’s my first time ever growing things from seed since my Garden Tower arrived and I also decided to plant some things out front. My Moonflowers and Malabar Spinach (from seed) are also growing well in the front yard, although are on a slower trajectory than the Sunflowers.

They have all taught me even more gratitude and daily presence, not to mention have anchored in more natural harmony with Nature and her cycles.

It’s also made me very aware of my own cycles and has all been very in sync with the big changes in my life. (I knew that my Sunflowers would bloom before I left here) 😉

I’ve supported, nurtured, cultivated, and watched how my plants have flourished and yielded their bounty, how some have had more challenges and needed more care, the passing and turn over of new growth, and the excitement and abundance of the natural beauty of Nature in her glory.

It’s the same with our lives and how we can support the cycles we pass through.

I haven’t decided yet on how long I have on Earth, and at times that has fluctuated greatly depending on how fully I choose to engage this reality.

All I know is that right now I’ve committed to an all-fulfilling ecstatic experience of living from a new found place of complete soul freedom.

And this is something I am engaging in fullness each and every day I choose to be alive in this body.

Nothing else matters except this.

It’s not about how much money I have, the things I own, a status to achieve, how many people I know, or even who I know. It’s not about having to prove anything, nor about needing to be approved of. It’s not about having the support of people believing as I do, or trying to change anyone. It’s not about being afraid to be me in all my quirkiness and bold differences. It’s not about how I look or if my body emulates other’s ideals. It’s not about superficiality on any level, so that I’m left with emptiness when alone with myself. It’s not about doing as many things as I possibly can cram into a day, but instead about doing the things I truly want to do with quality versus quantity.

Today I live each moment from the fullness of my heart without any regrets and with peace of soul that has no fear of what the next moment may bring.

Life is both fragile and miraculous.

Faery Realms & Dreams of Remembrance

The last four and a half days I immersed in Faery realms and dreams that awakened a deepening to my ancient, timeless roots. It was a richer embodiment of a “return to natural harmony”…the journey I believe we are on.

It had me connecting more dots about this experience of life, who I really am – helping me to “know” my name, envision what’s to come, and exploring thoughts about evolution and devolution.

Here are more photos, as “seen through Faery eyes” of Faery fields, forests, vistas, delights, a street named “Fairy” and a Blue Jay and Woodpecker feather I found together, more giant dandelions reflecting the expansion of my dreams, a Swallowtail Butterfly of which there were many floating along my path and circling within my aura, and even a 440 year-old Champion Lodgepole Pine I spent time with in reverence, gratitude, and love.

These photos were meant for personal inspiration to ignite the energy needed for my upcoming creative channelings, so I could return right back to those feelings when I see them.

Bringing you along my introspective journey of remembrance and walk in the Sacred Feminine.

As you explore the images, here is one of my favorite songs by Terry Oldfield, “Across the Universe” to help you “wish upon a star” and actualize into reality.

Sometimes we must wander further within and away in order to emerge more fully and connectively.

Paradise Is….

paradise is a state of mind

…and of heart, soul, and being.

It is also a choice.

That said, what’s paradise to one person may be another person’s prison.

One of the “definitions” of paradise is “an ideal or idyllic place or state”. So one might then wonder just whose “ideal” or “definition” are we envisioning when we think of a state of being or “place” we would like to be in?

Wikipedia defines paradise as:

a religious or metaphysical term for a place in which existence is positive, harmonious and eternal. It is often compared to the miseries of human civilization: in paradise there is only peace, prosperity, and happiness. Paradise is a place of contentment, but it is not necessarily a land of luxury and idleness. Paradise is often described as a “higher place”, the holiest place, in contrast to this world, or underworlds such as Hell.”

In general, it’s considered a Utopian state without sorrow, suffering, and so-called “sin”.

And to many, that translates as an idea of heaven or some idyllic island oasis.

Nobody ever taught us that paradise could be the human state of being and the ability to have so many undefined choices and experiences.

Paradise is not really a location, nor a destination or level to attain to. These are just our ideas of how to achieve a certain state of being and experience that we’ve deemed more ideal and perhaps even more valuable.

That feeling you experience when you are on that exotic beach with the crystal clear, aqua blue water flowing around you, the palms swaying in the wing, the sun warmly kissing your skin, birds serenading you, and the silence calming your mind and nerves….this is a sample of what you can achieve in experience and embodiment, where ever you are and in any circumstance, if you know the way back to your true self so that you can have and appreciate each experience with the full capacity of what it truly has to offer you.

Paradise is a natural state of being in your essence…that experience of feeling centered, balanced, relaxed, inspired, and in harmony. It is you, being in flow and movement with greater ease and is available to you at any moment.

It’s not something to chase after and it’s not something outside of your human experience to attain by running away from yourself right here and now in your beautiful body.

It can also be when you are experiencing the things you have been accustomed to thinking are bad or painful, but you experience them from a place of embracing their value and with an understanding that they are expressions needing to flow through and take their course in the natural cycle of things. It may not “feel” so good, but that feeling has its place and can shift when we aren’t attached to judging and anchoring a defining limitation to it.

When you are focused everywhere else – in the past or on the future – worrying, stressing, having impatience, regretting, experiencing excited anxiety, then this as well can remove you from that state of being in the present. You latch on to everything else, without being able to see and experience what is here and now before you, which includes all things you as a human are able to experience.

Yes, granted they are all varying in their feelings, but that variety of feeling is part of the magnificence of your state of being.

Someone, at some point, decided that certain feelings and experiences were bad, not as valuable, wrong, unworthy, and even sinful. And from there, we began to accept anchored beliefs, as defining of our experiences. This conditioning created an inner turmoil where the parts of us that are naturally wanting to just “be” are at odds with and fighting the parts that want to control and beat them down. The result is imbalance, disharmony, and war that wreaks havoc within and without.

Whether you want to call it paradise, or simply being, it really is about that return to natural harmony…just like those beautiful, exotic locations remind you of when you bask in their flow.

However, the frigid snowy landscapes, fall trees without their clothing of foliage, a dry, desolate desert, or even the boiling magma beneath the Earth’s surface are all reminders of states of being in flow and natural harmony as well. They simply don’t think about it, nor judge it. And truth be told, they are all beautiful to witness in their own way.

These are just some ideas to consider that may be helpful to bringing you back to being in that state of mind, heart, soul, and being:

  • be very present, realizing that where ever you are and whom ever you are with can be paradise if you are open to seeing and experiencing the gifts present all around and don’t have expectations to limit them
  • those times you are doing what you love and feeling that sense of natural flow and joy are reflections of your natural state of being – paradise – remember that
  • those times you are feeling out of sorts, uncharacteristically off, or weighed heavily in certain feeling experiences over others, realize these feelings are the threshold to understanding your flow – invite them to share their message, allow the feeling to move through, and recognize where you’re attached and unwilling to pick up anchor so that you can embrace the next wind approaching your sails
  • when you feel thrown off balance, start to get stressed, very serious, and narrowly focused, take a moment to shift your gaze and look all around you – and if you are too overwhelmed, having anxiety, or feel fear, then shift your gaze to just in front of you – shifts in perspective, literally, can help you to breathe in more lightness and shift your mood
  • find ways to laugh at yourself and find the humor in things
  • share acts of gentle kindness with yourself and others that seem out of character, especially if you are stressed, and you’ll soften your current gaze
  • as many times as you can, find something nice to say to yourself no matter how small you might think it is, as well as to others when they are off-balance – remind yourself of the nice things people have said to you
  • find something to be grateful for, even if it’s the ability to walk, to breathe air, or to be alive
  • move your body – dance, exercise, walk…whatever you can do to move the energy and feelings through you
  • get out and be with nature – hug a tree, take a stroll in the woods, smell the flowers, let the sun shine on your face, welcome the rain to cleanse your soul
  • lessen up on, and then rid yourself of, the “shoulds”
  • realize that being human is holy and heaven on Earth is the realization of your state of embodying that

Mood Music to “Be” in the Flow

Always love to discover new ambient music and today’s comes to me via a sweet soul (Vi, as I lovingly refer to her as) – Vidushi Bundhun of  Rivers Flow ~ Viggo featuring Glow – A reminder to embrace  and express YOUR natural flow.

Hope it adds to the “flow” of your day!

“To travel like a bird, lightly to view | Deserts where stone gods founder in the sand, | Ocean embraced in a white sleep with land; | To escape time, always to start anew… | Hooded by a dark sense of destination… | Travelers, we’re fabric of the road we go; We settle, but like feathers on time’s flow.
