Reiki Certification Weekend in Montreal
Join us for a powerfully transformative and heart-opening weekend as we explore the empowering journey of Reiki. This will be a fun and intensive certification weekend that will take you through the levels of training that resonate with your current life desires.
It’s been a while since I’ve traveled to Canada and never to Montreal, so I was grateful for the opportunity to come teach in the area and am very excited to share some quality time connecting with you there.
Thank you to my amazing friend, Eric Lavallee, who will be our gracious host and will also assist with some French translation if needed. I will be teaching in English and because my mother was born in France, I speak a little French and understand it, but Eric will be present at all times to assist as our official English/French expert for the weekend! 🙂
The Reiki classes offered are part of the Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Certification Training. Each level takes this knowledge to a much deeper and more refined level and frequency that will help align your heart with the Universal heart.
This offering is provided with intention to support you to help yourself and to learn how to support integrative healing for others (whether people or animal companions) towards compassionate goals, intentions and worldwide healing and change. Reiki is a perfect antidote to stress relief, more peace, balance, clarity and overall well-being that can transform and help support your chosen path in life. Reiki can also help to empower your goals and more efficiently come from a heart-based place in attaining desired, harmonious results for the highest good.
You will receive training and certification in Reiki 1 and 2, which will be offered together on Saturday August 3rd, and Reiki 3 Master Teacher training will be offered on Sunday August 4th. There is the option to join for one or both of the days. See details below on pricing.

If you missed our marathon fun, high vibed New Jersey Reiki & Yoga weekend last time, now’s the chance to catch it again, but with new fun events added for a chance to jump in on a life-enhancing experience that will support that inner glow from the inside out.
We will begin each day anchoring in the experience of Unity with Reiki training by myself, which will support you to open yourself to living, giving and receiving in empowering ways and support a fresh new journey. And we will have a fun event that will bring in the synergy of offerings from Yoga & Reiki Master Teacher & Holistic Health Coach, Venus Banguela and Intuitive Artist & Healer & Reiki Master Teacher, Jennifer Helminski.

As mentioned, we will also be offering a fun event of gentle and empowering spiritual offerings that will leave you feeling blissful, either in the evening on one of the days or on Sunday afternoon in place of Reiki 3 Master Teacher training. This is also why early registration is necessary, as I can only schedule things based on need.
Once we receive all registrations we will announce the official event times and day, and specific details, but to give you an idea, this event will offer an eclectic mix of short sessions including:
- A Reiki share (where all new and already established practitioners and teachers will offer Reiki healings together – all new students encouraged and welcomed to join in to practice)
- Empowering Reiki Healing Attunements will be offered by the Reiki Master Teachers (Tania Marie, Jennifer Helminski & Venus Banguela)
- A specifically focused yoga session with Venus Banguela
- Guided meditations by Tania Marie
- A talk on Crystal energy and get a chance to see some of the beautiful crystal jewelry creations of Jennifer Helminski

Integrative Healing & Reiki – New Experiences In Store for You on this Year’s Bimini Retreat

I’ve posted a lot about all of the amazing experiences and offerings that are available to you during our Summer Solstice Rhythm of Renewal Retreat in Bimini, Bahamas at The ARC, but I haven’t delved into more about what will make this journey unique in terms of what will be facilitated, as there has been a continuous flow of energy shifts I’ve been riding in terms of how to best support that. Everything is constantly changing and so I am open to where that leads in order to provide what is in highest alignment.
No matter how much I describe or share photos, I always come up short in being able to express the actual experience of what a retreat like this can bring, especially due to the fact that we create with what the moment brings us, which can always be such a journey of wonderment and surprise.
However, I have been guided to expound a little more on the the aspects of Reiki and the healing journey that you will embark upon with my support, especially since these have shifted since I first posted the retreat.
As always, I am listening to where Spirit guides me and matching the resonance of the Collective’s needs with what I’m being shown to offer.
If you follow my blog posts, you may notice a lot of focus on “integration,” which has always been my focal point of the work I do in totality since the get-go.
“Integration” and a “return to natural harmony” – HUGE for me! – and all focused on the inner truth stillness and power of the heart.
Actually, my original business name when I first began things many years ago was “Integrative Healing Arts.” I still use this term to describe my work and services all the time, but now it just goes under a new umbrella of “Emerald Bridge,” which represents the Heart Chakra “integrative energy” that “bridges” and merges things into harmony.
See a theme here? It all goes hand-in-hand and focuses on that unconditionally loving and compassionate energy that honors all and empowers from the inside out.
So, what I am guided to bring into the experience, this summer’s retreat, is supporting integration and bringing our Reiki training to another level with some added goodies. 🙂
On our 6 night and 6 day retreat I will be supporting each person within the group to become attuned to Reiki Level 1, which will be a shared experience of teaching and learning, gaining an understanding of and experiencing the Reiki energy, receiving an initiation, and becoming certified. Once we have, then we will be journeying into practicing on deeper levels with practical applications and experiences to support your own and others’ integrative healing journeys, which will be inclusive of and beyond Reiki.
This will be a week of transformational experiences that will lead you to greater sense of self, clarity, empowerment, peace, joy, and deeper love and compassion. One of the focuses will be on deepening and expanding your heart through Reiki (pronounced ray-key).
The practice of channeling Reiki is an easy-to-learn, gentle and powerful system of natural healing that reduces stress, induces relaxation, supports intentions, helps return you to a more natural and clearer flow on all levels, and provides many other healing benefits. The Reiki class offered is part of the Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Certification Training.
In Reiki Level 1, you’ll learn about the history, principles, ethics and practice of Reiki and the foundations that really are at the “heart” of its essence that are important to consistently embody. You’ll experience Reiki, receive an attunement and start a 21-day energetic cleanse. You’ll learn scanning, Reiki lineage, hand positions for giving in-person, hands-on treatments to others and yourself, (including your animal companions) and more. This class can help you begin the journey of creating more harmony and peace in your daily life and in your interaction with people to help center you more in compassion.
Whether you are new to Reiki, have already been through Reiki Level 1, are preparing to teach and want a refresher, or want to incorporate Reiki into your current healing practice, you will find these classes to be supportive and timely in terms of the now.
This offering is provided with intention to help you to step gracefully into learning how to support yourself, other people and animals towards compassionate goals, intentions and worldwide healing and change.
You will have access to any support I can provide during your time on this retreat with personal attention to meet your desired goals. We will also participate in global and personal healing intentions and sessions that will take you on a life-enhancing and empowering new path.
And as the group comes through the Reiki Level 1 experience together, we will then continue our journey with deepening this experience and supporting that integrative healing.
I believe that integration is a key point to supporting us to the next experience of life that we desire to have. I feel that doing the deeper work really makes the difference and helps you to understand the continuous triggering taking place and supports you to move through the frustrations of wondering why things are not improving when you are doing so much spiritual stuff already.
So, rather than skip levels, which we have all fallen into doing at one point or another, we’ll focus on some ways to work more deeply and all-encompassing through guided meditations for personal and collective connecting, practical tuning in as we practice Reiki, doing some personal and group work to look within, and also be guided by the moment and the energy needs of the group to where it takes us in flow.

Integrating, to me, means lovingly recognizing, honoring, embracing, surrendering to, healing, and bringing together so that unification and harmony can be experienced at all stages and on all levels. It is a process of transmutation involving going beyond things like affirmations, and understanding what the feelings that prompted the affirmations have to share and teach us while learning how to lovingly support and understand their process. In doing so, you learn that life is more than black and white and within the gray you will discover unconditional love and compassion for others, as well as realize that you are loved in all of your wholeness at every step of the journey.

I am very much looking forward to our beautiful experience together and where it leads us. Activation and Acceleration – Our Magical Marathon New Jersey Reiki Weekend

One three-letter word about sums up this past weekend….WOW! As you know, I was off on the East Coast teaching accelerated Reiki workshops in partnership with Yoga Instructor and Holistic Health Coach, Venus Banguela, who added to the weekend with her beautiful yoga practice. Saturday began with yoga and ended with a full day of Reiki 1 and 2 explorations. And Sunday we jumped right in with Reiki 3 Master Teacher training. Everything unfolded perfectly from start to finish in terms of what we all needed to support the highest good.
The energy was so vibed up and powerful that I’m still feeling the effects and have heard the same from some of the students who were in attendance. It’s kind of hard for me to call them students, as they truly are my friends and are powerful souls that have been and will continue to light up the world in big ways. Everything really is a process of remembering and calling back up the Divinity that you are already. I’m grateful to be able to help facilitate some of that process.

Everyone who was part of the weekend, including Venus, was someone I had never met in person before (although in a couple of cases had already created and been aware of strong soul bonds with), except for Anne, who I had previously met in Bimini on my last retreat where I had taught Reiki 1 and 2 (she was now completing her Reiki journey with Reiki 3 Master Teacher training), and yet it was like we were all a family picking up from where we left off from the last time of our togetherness.
Teaching wasn’t something I thought I’d ever be doing, especially given how shy I was and how stressful speaking in front of groups always had been. Interestingly, that’s not how I came into this world, as when I was a little girl I used to sing in a choir from age 3 -5 in front of hundreds of people, dance and star in ballet performances at the same age, and perform with my brother in front of any guests my parents had that would watch. 🙂 It wasn’t until my family moved and I started kindergarten at a new school that things showed up for me that were a combination of carry through from other life experiences and conditioning. This began my process of integration and evolution to where I am now.

This past weekend was invigorating in many ways and I am very grateful for the unfolding perfection that took place. It also was the longest marathon of teaching ever in my experience thus far! LOL! Everyone was so enthusiastic and open to whatever the day unveiled and I was happy to support that, especially since it’s not every day I am there and wanted to make sure to provide what I could while I was. Plus, we were having so much fun and fun is what it’s all about, after all, isn’t it?

It was so beautiful to me to know that everyone was so ready for this transformational experience, even if they had started out questioning some things. I saw the transformations take place during the class and we even took photos at the start and end that revealed the energy shifts people had gone through.
And each of the initiation attunements held beautiful experiences for everyone, including new experiences for some and in one case reconnected an Atlantean life shared with myself that resulted in an activation and integration into the now, what was then.

We ended up having about a 12 hour day on Saturday and a 10 hour day on Sunday, which also included delicious, healthy and grounding lunches prepared by Venus (and taste-tested by me), yoga on the first day to kick start everything, and supportive conversations that arose from what was triggered in the process of learning. And when we weren’t engaged in the energy of all of that, it was laughter until we were crying and a lot of sharing. Nonstop energy and fun! I was so spoiled by Venus with all the good food she was making us and me (quite the treat to be taken care of!) and apparently she was trying to find a way to keep me too. LOL.

We would sit at night talking while she prepped the food for lunch the next day, which I got to give the taste approval on, and she even cooked us a late dinner and juiced for me after Saturday’s long class, kept me hydrated with coconut water with chia seeds that she made us, and together we discovered making yummy dishes like coconut quinoa – YUM! I also received a lovely gift goody bag upon arrival (little did we both know that we had one for each other) and on our first evening together and our last celebratory night, enjoyed two delicious Thai restaurants. She even had me doing a hand stand and the splits at midnight and laughing all the way through. OMG! And on our last day I provided bindis to all the women and we were like a group of little witches gathering in supportive love and power with one another for our Reiki 3 Master Teacher training.

It was a fully packed, non-stop weekend that left us all feeling the magic. Sure glad we were eating healthy and what for me was grounding foods, that I stayed centered in my heart, and that I’ve been so immersed in spending hours in nature all of the time preceding this (following my inner guidance as to what is good for me and what isn’t), as a weekend like this would not have been energetically possible otherwise. Those are the kinds of things that keep me balanced, grounded, and from blowing out my energy when it is so high. Because I have been so diligent and listening to myself and keeping my balance, I was able to maintain the same level of energy the whole weekend through even with the marathon teaching days. Yes, I’ve learned and am putting to practice what I know of my processes now.

While a weekend like this can be a lot, the beautiful souls that were there were so ready for it and I believe that the nurturing environment Venus and I were conscious to create for everyone really supported this process to happen as it did. I’ve been thrilled to hear about several of the people already kick-starting everything in high gear since. Some have gone out and gotten their massage tables or are looking into finding one, getting all their promotional material ready to get their own practices started, and were already practicing on others and doing all of the leg work to move forward with incorporating Reiki into their life and service. One beautiful and dear soul sister already has a position lined up for her at a holistic clinic and we were able to support her with the last energetic pieces and tools to move that into being. I see and feel each of them having thriving experiences as they continue to cultivate their practices.

And for myself, all of this energy has continued to fuel all that I am engaged in right now, giving me the ability to thrive in a time when I have a ton of things going on all at once and returned from the weekend needing to prepare for my upcoming art showcase tomorrow in Los Angeles.

It was a magical and accelerated weekend all around. Teaching Reiki 1 and 2 together has become pretty much the norm in my practice, as it provides people the tools for empowerment and the ability and opportunity to expand and deepen, as well as integrate things further, which is needed now with the focus on healing integration. It’s not something I had set out to do, but with the acceleration of things and following the guidance received in mirror to the needs of others, it has developed into being. I still offer them separately if so desired, but 99% of the people that come to me have opted to go this route. Doing an accelerated weekend of all three levels is also an option people have if they feel ready. It’s not something that happens often, but I do provide the option, as it’s a personal choice as to what someone is ready for and wanting in their life.

New Spring Dates: April Reiki & Yoga Workshops in New Jersey
Thank you for your patience while I worked out some new dates to reconvene with our Reiki workshop weekend in New Jersey. It took me a little while to gather everything and figure out which dates would be most supportive and work with everyone’s needs who had already registered, as well as be beneficial all around. I trust everything works out for a reason and while it would be great to do it sooner, we can only flow with what is in motion and embrace to our best ability the hidden beauty in it all.
What I do love about the new April dates is that they will kick off the Spring energy of the year in all that freshness and purity of new beginnings, life, vitality, and innocence. Perfect ingredients for our “Opening to Living and Giving from Your Heart” weekend and all of what this new journey is about for everyone who is embracing this next step along their path.
Spring is also the season of new growth, inviting change, renewal, rebirth, continuity of life and refreshing the cycles of life, optimism, lightness, fertile ideas, and creation energy. Important Update: New Jersey Reiki & Yoga Workshop Weekend Being Rescheduled

Our weekend of heart-opening Reiki & Yoga workshops is being rescheduled. My flight out has just been cancelled due to the big storm that they are saying is going to hit tomorrow and over the weekend.
Apparently, all flights into Newark and other surrounding areas are getting cancelled and they say it’s supposed to be a huge blizzard with white outs, drifts, tree limbs downed, and power outages. Better everyone is safely at home and not out on the road either and hopefully this will create more beneficial circumstances. I know that the dates hadn’t worked for some of you and that that others were under the weather, so perhaps the shifts are more supportive to the greater good.
I was very much looking forward to this weekend with all of you, but Mother Nature seems to have other plans for us to embrace. I feel there is good reason and more opportune energy will support the next time.
There were a lot of synchronous things among myself, Venus, and a couple of the students attending that pointed to our intuiting a shift was going to happen. And voila! Peace within creates peace without, no matter the circumstances. Everything is always in divine perfection and flows as such for a reason. It’s up to us to embrace it with our hearts.
We are likely looking at March or April dates, but I will keep you posted in the next day or two, once everything gets on the calendar officially.
For everyone who registered, I sent an email to you each for rescheduling. For everyone else, I will be posting the updated dates for this weekend as soon as the new schedule is set.

Empowering the Year of the Snake – Chinese New Year & Reiki Master Teacher Training
When Venus and I set up our upcoming Reiki and Yoga Workshop Weekend in New Jersey, we hadn’t realized that Sunday’s Reiki Master Teacher class would coincide with the Chinese New Year of February 10th – The Year of the Snake. One of my dear friends and soon to be Reiki Master Teacher attending this class brought it to my attention when she discovered the beautiful and empowering symbolism it held for her, along with the alignment of pulling a Snake/Healer card for herself in conjunction for the class meaning. I LOVE synchronicity!
After this discovery I felt that the weekend would be receiving additional transformative empowerment energy, along with extra divine support for all who are attending, given we had followed only our intuitive guidance on dates. It also felt very aligned for my own journey and process as well, especially given my connection with snakes (I do happen to wear 2 sacred snake tattoos – one of which sits entwined on my right hand/wrist used in Reiki sessions and attunements). Afterall, snake symbolism and energy is SO aligned with the effects of the Reiki training and initiation attunements we will be experiencing this day and weekend. Plus, what a powerful way to celebrate the Chinese New Year together in the energy of Reiki and all that it brings, individually and collectively, in opening to.

In light of this, I thought it would be supportive to touch on a little about snake symbolism and the energy of this Year of the Snake soon-to-be, in order to shed a little understanding of what you have to work with while you continue your chosen journey.
Snakes symbolize cycles, rebirth, patience, fertility, creation energy, eternity, connection to the shadow worlds, secret knowledge, pointed focus, assertive power, primoridal life force, search for balance, eternity, cunning, intuition, awareness, healing, intellect, protection, solemnity, rejuvenation, transformation, the hidden or occult, knowledge, male/female duality, and kundalinin energy.
Water snakes, or nagas, embody the feminine aspects of nurturing, benevolent, wise qualities, in addition.
2013 is the Year of the Black Water Snake. Changeability, mobility, and dynamism are the Water characteristics that the Black Snake will embody. The reigning color is black, which is the color of deep waters, space, and abyss and hence will carry the creation, visionary, and imagination energies (this reminded me of my recent post Diving Deep into the Inspirational Abyss 😉 ) as well as the energy of the emotions, unconscious, spiritual focus in life, dedication to quiet introspection, interest in understanding the underlying meanings and mechanics of life, flowing, and pooling your resources together in readiness and strength so you are ready to make a move forward when opportunities present themselves.
This heralds a year of unexpected changes abound and the need for cautious, careful planning, while remaining as flexible and versatile as you can (like the Snake) in order to flow with the changes and strike at opportune and aligned moments. If you are able to ride the transformative waves by embracing the energies present, you can aid a return to balance and harmony, which this collective #6 year is about, rather than get caught in the imbalances and inconstancy that will be brought in with the Snake year – all to help you evolve and learn to “be” the energy of Water, which shifts in chameleon-like ways.
In summary, some other things the energy of the year will bring includes a time for deep transformation and healing, major out-of-the-blue changes, a time for reflection, going within, and withdrawing rather than being involved in tons of social situations, in order to focus on steady, methodical progress, details and serious responsiblity. (This interestingly coincides with the energies of my own #7 year I’ve personally been moving into already and so I can say from experiencing and working with this energy that if you embrace it rather than fight it, you WILL experience the rewards).
This will also be a time for “shedding” the very deep-rooted old in order to release and begin anew, realizing that hidden aspects may surface for your gentle integration. Having all of your senses on conscious-awareness-high-volume will aid you in not being taken by surprise, as well as assist in understanding the perfection of the unfolding. This is a great year for physical healing of the body as well as moving into a more spiritual way of life, if you haven’t already. Or, you will start integrating more of this into your life in deeper ways – having it become your way of being, rather than a novelty or side focus.

To Host a group Reiki workshop/event in your home town, whether out of state or out of country, these are all the fun details.
What I contribute:
- The host receives FREE Reiki training up to the level I am teaching for the event (if all 3 levels this is a gift of $1221, which is the regular price of taking the classes separately)
- Thorough manuals and certification to each participant
- Personalized workshop to meet the needs of your group (any additional things you’d like to focus on, your wish is my command)
- Special rate packages created for your group
What you contribute:
- Book the workshop/event at least 1 month in advance
- Have at least 5-10 people, depending on where you’re located and the associated travel expenses (we can discuss)
- A space to hold the workshop/event
- Registration fees collected from your group 1 week ahead of event
If you are local to my area, there’s also opportunity for special big discounts on receiving your Reiki training when you have a group of two or more people. These discounts are only available for local students.
This can also be of benefit to massage therapists and any of your fellow students you went through school with, as Reiki is a highly beneficial compliment to take your massage practice to the next level.
