As I sit here watching the snow gently fall, creating magick all around me, I am in gratitude of the cycles and seasons of life that have brought me to this very moment. I’m also in awe of the perfection of this sweetness falling from the heavens like powdered sugar, in perfect creation of what will be a potent and memorable day. This Winter Solstice has been chosen by my beloved Cosmo as the day to spread some of his ashes upon the lake to join in alchemy with Joy’s and Nestor’s, igniting a sacred wave of shifts abound.
Other things are also taking place today and ending/beginning, so I will be reflecting upon and adding energy to the magickal brew a-stirring.
Today marks another new cycle and change of seasons as we welcome in the Winter Solstice (for the Northern Hemisphere and Summer Solstice for the Southern Hemisphere). This brings the end of the old year’s cycle, as we begin anew, and provides a supportive time to make leaps in consciousness by moving within to shine your light, as the light lessens on this shortest day/longest night of the year (or longest day of the year for you Southern Hemisphere folks).
We’ve been continuing to clear in preparation for new and more natural ways of living from our highest and likely you’ve been experiencing heightened awareness of all things in your life through varying ways of experiencing these, relative to each, and coming to feel more self alignment and merging taking place.
This is creating an upsurge of excitement, as you feel the energy field welcoming you into your truth more than ever.
Where ever you are in your journey, is perfect, and likely you have that sense, even if moving through the “ick” still, that there’s something different this time in the experience.
I simply would encourage you to let go, do what ever you can to maintain your own inner balance and harmony so that you can vibrate at your own relaxed and natural personal frequency, and compassionately realize that you are different than everyone else and therefore you only need to exercise your own sovereign free will and lovingly allow them to do the same.
More and more you will be experiencing, embodying, and emanating so much more light, which is not to be feared, but to be celebrated.
Through this Winter Solstice “gateway” you can be mindful of this turn of seasons to be more soul driven and may feel called to take some moments to honor this flowing change of life cycles. Perhaps creating a special sacred space or ritual act to honor the “return of light” that this Solstice is reminding us.
Candles and crystals come to mind when I think of ways you might symbolically create that space, or perhaps simply envisioning and imagining (imagination is a powerful tool) the light and inner fire of your heart and soul expanding and filling your entire body and emanating out and joining with the light of our Great Central Sun, allowing yourself to take up more space and be who you really are.
Winter Solstice provides a supportive time to honor the remembrance of light that you are, for making those leaps in consciousness by moving within to shine your own light, and to “see the light” even when things get dark and you’re unsure of what to do, where to go, or even how to think or feel.
There is so much potential available to each of you and it is up to each individual how you choose to embrace this or not. It’s an opportunity to completely reinvent yourself and your life and to do things more differently than ever before, which will take the courage of being willing to shine your light even if no one else around you is.
A lovely Christmas card I received this year from a beloved friend that reminded me of the little faery ballerina me, alongside a photo of me at 3 years old practicing my ballet poses.
Childhood memories of myself as a ballerina and the passion I expressed through me with dance brings depth to the meaning of today’s “rebirthing of the Light” and life and spirit.
We all have the opportunity to courageously be born again like a seed of light, as we deepen into the stillness of the dark.
There is much hope and promise within remembering the heart of who I am and what was alive within me as a child. Some of what I/we may have forgotten.
There’s an integration that takes place and frees me even more when I reclaim those parts of my essence.
What this means to me is that what ever it is I do take action to bring forth in my life, the little girl within me will be dancing her heart out while doing it, as the dream is the reality I choose to live and nothing less than that.

May your courage deepen and the creative impetus of transformation shine brightly within you.
Yesterday we made our way down to Reno to share the day, warmth, cheer, and decadent delights with my family. It also proved quite auspicious. It’s nice to be close to them again to visit and especially so around holidays, as my parents are known for decorating the house in festive magick throughout. They are definitely the parents of a Faery, harnessing their own creative and artist alchemy to beautify and create dreamy realms that echo the heart of one’s inner child.
The photos here are but a tiny sample of how things were decorated, as they had splashes of autumn beauty everywhere.
From moment of entering their own mini castle in their little oasis sitting between two mountain ranges next to a wash and with their own season mini creek bed amidst their Faery yard, you feel and smell the welcome of entering into a place that nurtures the heart.
We shared a lovely day, enjoyed a huge feast both mom and dad prepared, followed by dad’s gourmet baked goods all made with love. They always make us everything vegan too.
The rest of the day was filled with conversation, naps for some with full tummies before dessert, and lots of metaphysical talk, and Tarot and homemade Rune fun, as we delved into explorations in both.
And we topped it all off with dad’s apple and pumpkin pie.
I marveled over how magickal the piece on my plate lit up with sparkly Faery dust and crystalline light.
Curiously, I had brought my small laptop with me, feeling like I wanted to share just the beginning of my book I’m writing with my mom, which would be the first time anyone but myself and those helping to channel it would hear it.
But apparently it was not the time even to share a glimpse of it with anyone, as when I pulled it out to do so, my computer wouldn’t turn on. The battery was completely drained, which has never happened before that quickly. And I did not bring my charger.
I got the message. It was still not time for it’s reveal.
And this occurred on a day that was filled with potent symbolism and messages leading up to arriving to my parent’s house.
Within a short span of about 35 minutes I’d seen 27 hawks. That’s incredible! They just popped up everywhere I turned. So many variety too. Some perched in trees, at the edge of meadows, on light posts, and a few flying straight at the car. All of them very very close, so I could see the full detail of their feathers, colors, faces, and incredibly powerful bodies. Each one, as if time stood still and locked in on them with a zoom lens and pause into timelessness. Amazing!
It was like an armada of sentinels and felt to be messengers from the Cosmos and my star family.
And, in the midst of the hawks, which are one of my main spirit guides, I also saw one most beautiful barn owl, which is my favorite owl and is part of my life path from here forward.
This incredible owl had unfortunately transitioned, but with such a beautiful, peaceful expression full of grace on its face. Her head turned, facing me directly.
And once again, time stood still, zoom took place locking in on her face, and another timeless pause so that she is etched in my mind’s eye.
This all felt powerfully meaningful for my life right now and what I’m involved in.
And then this morning as I was enjoying my favorite apple dumpling, my dad had made for us to bring back home, for breakfast with a homemade latte, I looked up and another incredible sighting appeared over Lake Tahoe’s portal directly in front of me where I sat at my computer.
An Arcturian symbol was etched in the sky, hovering over the Sierra Nevada Range, specifically over Mt. Tallac. This is a symbol of their main starship and one I wear in a sacred tattoo.
This is all no coincidence.
Something is afoot and it feels incredibly alchemical and much support is all around.
And so I continue forward and keep my senses on all-time high to be with what is unfolding.
There are messages everywhere and the more we open to presence and embrace, while expanding our perspectives, the more we see and receive them.
Not your completely typical Thanksgiving, but it fused Earth and Cosmos, physical and ethereal, nurturing comforts and expansive alchemy, human and star essence….my kind of celebration of life with the best of both worlds.
Every morning provides you the opportunity to begin again…to face the day, your life, with an even more open heart and to breathe from the sacred seat of your soul. The sky is swathed in blankets of pink around your inner child’s most cherished dreams…dreams that expand before you and breathe with innocent wonder, inviting your nurtured embrace into the field of possibilities. Come dance in the realm of imagination and dream your wishes alive.
Embrace your innocence and experience life directly and clearly, as it is in the delight of this moment.
Let go of how things “should” be and enjoy what “IS”.

I realized yesterday how potent today – Valentine’s Day – and the energy surrounding this day has been over the last couple of years for me and my little ones with big souls.
And while I shared February’s Newsletter last evening, which focused on the importance and value of self love and individual expression, I know that my beautiful animal companion partners have been instrumental in helping me to discover the layers of myself to love.
As I shared in my newsletter, “it just so happens that things have aligned to create Valentine’s Day as my day of falling in love with myself in a renewed way….celebrating a rekindling of my relationship to myself on a whole new level, as well as beginning a transition into another leg of my journey with shifts of focus and romancing my soul’s essence in a new dance of life.”
That dance of life couldn’t have been possible without my sweet loves and the precious and valuable reflections they have gifted me. Their soul journeys and the energy they carry have been the alchemy of my life.
And, this day – Valentine’s Day – one year ago was the beginning of Cosmo and Joy’s dance together, uniting the Sacred Masculine and Feminine energies that reflected for me the union within myself I was also ready to embrace and empower.
It is so interesting to see how throughout my life I mostly had only female animal companions.
I had only one other male energy – my first male rabbit, Twinkie, but for only three months of my life before he left this Earth. He began my journey, holding that point for me on the path, reminding me I would need to revisit his energy again when I was ready.
But it appears I needed to work with the Feminine energy first, as the collective has been doing too.
And so every dear companion after Twinkie was female – all of my parakeets and then of course Nestor, Gaia, and Joy.
It wasn’t until Cosmo that the Sacred Masculine returned…when I was ready to unite those parts in a new way within myself.
As it isn’t just about the Feminine focus. We cannot forget the Masculine and we will need revisit the Male energy to integrate both in their highest potential and purity, for wholeness.
This is the symbolism of divine love through divine union of both parts to create harmony.
And Joy and Cosmo’s journey has mirrored the energies I’ve been working on within myself, simultaneously. All of what has taken place couldn’t have been possible if we hadn’t been ready to integrate the next layers.
On this day, February 14th, 2015, in Big Bear,which was Joy and Cosmo’s first travels together, they shared their first and very long, peaceful nose-to-nose connection, which is what you see in this photo below.
And since that day, it’s been the most beautiful love connection filled with mutual respect, honor, tenderness, and warmth, which evolved into this not long after:
I can’t believe both that it’s already been a year, but that it’s only been a year!
It seems like an eternal love we have shared together across time.
And speaking of love across time…I’ve had Gaia on my mind a lot recently, finding myself connecting with the Tortoise/Turtle energy and using it as example for a lot of things I talk about….”slow and steady like the turtle” I often find myself saying…or “going within like the turtle”.
I then yesterday got struck with the realization of a very poignant and memorable experience that happened with Gaia, two years ago yesterday.
On February 13th, 2014 I shared this story about Gaia, Tattoos, Lapis Lazuli & Expansive Shifts ~ The Journey Continues
And in the story was a recounting of what took place right before Gaia went into the Earth for good, and back to her expansive self without a body. I realized just yesterday the magnitude of that moment we shared now with ever greater meaning that at the time had a different meaning.
Now I understand Gaia was saying much more than a farewell for now, as since she did not return, she was actually soulfully sharing her eternal love and gratitude across space and time until our return to each other in spirit one day.
Here is the excerpt from my post of that experience we shared:
“I’d like to finish this post with the most endearing, amazing, and precious moment of reverence and love I’ve had with Gaia – I’m tearing up right now writing this. The depth of meaning to all that has been unfolding and that does in my daily life, in general, I can’t possibly express. Yet, I know many of you understand in your own unique ways with all that you experience. So some things are simply left unsaid.
This special experience happened this morning. Since Gaia returned, we washed her up and brought her indoors. The first evening she spent on her heating blanket, then fell asleep on the cold tile, likely needing to moderate her body temperature back in stages. She remained out of it and still not eating. Next morning she spent on her heating blanket and still no food, but later during Reiki training, she came marching through and made her way to my office and I later found her asleep under the bottom of my wall tapestry of Faery Queen Astranaithes – also known as the magickal Dragon Witch.
This morning when she woke up I brought her to her heating blanket and then put out some more food. This time she went to it and slowly ate several bites, taking her time to assimilate it. Then I watched what she wanted to do next, as I made smoothies and golden raisin, cinnamon scones in the kitchen. I saw her walk toward the door to the yard and looked at it, then went back to her heating blanket. I had a feeling she wanted back outside.
I went to go sit with her and check in. And this is when the most magickal moment happened.
I won’t be able to explain the magnitude, but I’ll just share what I experienced. I sat there with my hand, palm facing up, next to her, as I telepathically spoke to her. My hand started heating up like when I do Reiki and then Gaia slowly reached her right, front leg up and forward, letting it come to rest across my index and middle fingers where they connect to my palm. And she kept it there, as she then turned her neck towards me and stretched it as far as she could, looking me directly in my eyes, while we sat there – “holding hands”.
I was overcome with emotions hearing her saying thank you for everything, for trusting, and supporting her. All of the mutual respect, honor, gratitude and love we have shared through the ages all washed over us both in those minutes and we also were clear on how this journey would need to continue. I understood.
We were not only a human with her tortoise companion – leg in hand, but we were two souls meeting in our wholeness, as we recognized everything in that moment that was us and beyond us.
Tears rolled, as she then reached forward into my hand with her left, front leg and then slowly put half her body in my hand while again stretching to look up at me, asking me to lift and hold her up, as she once did for me. I held her to my heart and then knew she wanted back outside and wanted me to carry her there. I can share that Gaia has returned to the depths of Gaia – our connection and understanding deepened in mirror to the depths she will be traveling.”
I did not know then that our next meeting would be beyond this Earth experience.
And now I understand.
I understand so much more than I once have and that has come through the love and connection I share with my dear little ones.
Gaia, Joy, Cosmo, and Nestor have been my soul companions on a journey back to myself.
We have each supported one another and continue to do so regardless of being on or off Earth.
I have such a deep reverence for these souls that moves me beyond words. What they have helped me to uncover within myself could only have been through these bonds we shared.
I am deeply grateful they chose to show up with me again, this time around, as they/we knew it would be through our bond that I would evolve and work through my layers, just as I could support them with their journeys.
I have learned that love – the kind that is beyond physical love and walks the path of cosmic expansive love – is often the guiding force that trumps responsibility when we are challenged with doing what we know.
It’s no wonder that the souls in animal bodies would be the instruments to my soul’s evolution.
They know the way to my heart and my inner soul child.
And it is that heart and soul of the child within that has been the key all along.
The purity that resides there is the only mission I am driven to protect and express.
This is my little ones’ message for me…stand in the power, love, and purity of my innocence no matter what happens and takes place, for that is the sacred mystery that we seek.
And in order to do so I am my own mother and father…my own male and female partners…my own lover…my own friend…nurturing, guiding, loving, and supporting that innocence of being to sing her song she carries within her energetic signature.
Your inner soul child is simply wanting to be heard. And being heard, actually entails you have taken to heart what he or she says, and make a new commitment to do at least one small thing each day to support the requests.
These requests aren’t simply whims, but reflect a deeper knowing that will likely surpass your ability in the now to comprehend, but if you take the trustful steps to support them and do what it takes to integrate what could be of assistance to that process, the results will bless you beyond measure of any one thing you feel lacking and have been chasing after.
A new kind of clarity and understanding is available to each of us. It will awaken and shift you the instant you recognize and embrace it. And it will always keep you in check so as to alert you of imbalances where you can then make different choices that will harmonize and return that balance that is so needed for everything to flourish.
This will also help you to become more attuned to the natural world that will move you in divine cycles, rather than struggling against them to create artificial ones.
So, where are the barriers to your self love?
Removing the veils and masks will help you to be real about how you feel, not hiding behind what you think you “should” be feeling, saying, or showing to others.
If you can’t be genuine with something – and you know when you’re not – then take time to explore what’s behind that.
This is a time for opening up and expanding into more authentic love and compassion for self, others, and all of life.
Make this Valentine’s Day be the day of romancing YOUR soul’s essence in a new dance of life.
During last weekend’s private immersive retreat we spent a morning engaged in soul expressive painting outdoors with Faery music to guide and support us.
This was a time for us to channel the express inner child and just feel into how things wanted to come through without any focus on rights and wrongs, or how things “should” look.
It was all about feeling and it was so fun, as we sounded and sang along with the music and let the energy move through us.
In doing so we created personal windows or mandalas from the uninhibited, raw place within to symbolize and help us move into the next leg of our journeys, while also connecting our essence for what we want to create from here forth.
These paintings would become our activation windows to meditate and gaze upon, helping us to integrate the new, and remind us of who we are and what we are creating from here forth in our lives.
I helped Kathleen to receive her symbols through guided meditations and then she went within and saw how that wanted to be when tied in together. For her it created a window into this magickal realm, each piece expressing a message, and together telling a story.
I went within while listening to the music and received my symbols. For me, it was a personal mandala where my symbols came alive as I painted and saw the images reveal themselves to me. Some I knew from the get-go while listening in, and others I had to “see” in my paint strokes, so that came without forcing, but continuing to put the rest together and allow what wanted through to show up when it was ready.
And so we played.
We kept feeling into the colors and allowed the brushes and imagery to create themselves.
I encourage everyone to try this form of expression, which will evolve over time when you start listening to yourself more and get more comfortable with trying different things.
Just sit down or stand up and dance, while you put on some music, and then let it happen….let the energy move through you.
Your inner child will reveal the rest <3 And you’ll feel freer and lighter….and more you.
While this isn’t our ideal location of RV living spot, as we like the more remote and fully nature surrounded parks away from the city, it is a very amenity-rich and accessible area to a lot of things living on the Back Bay at Newport Dunes.
I’m everything not Orange County, but that has also created an interesting and powerful dichotomy, as many of us find ourselves living in areas for other purposes bigger than ourselves.
Regardless and despite the close spaces and urban setting, there are a lot of cool things here, which include living right on the lagoon with kayaking, boating, paddle boarding – you name it, walking and biking access to the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, biking accessibility to Balboa Island and beach boardwalk that takes you all the way up the coast to Seal Beach, pool and jacuzzi, playground and swings (I’ve enjoyed very much!), a mini market, clubhouse with weekly events and arts and crafts, walking distance to restaurants and close to movie theater, park events and concerts, and gorgeous sunsets and wildlife due to the bird sanctuary here.
However, the things I love most are the lagoon and back bay we walk a lot to take in the wildlife and serenity, and of course the wild rabbit that lives here and makes herself known at synchronous times.
And now the Christmas lights and decorations that are all around the RV park here are warming my inner child’s heart, including some of my favorite characters – Yukon Cornelius, the Misfit Toys, Santa, and the Abominable! (missing Hermie and Rudolph however!) 
There are light displays set up from onset of coming into the park.
And a majority of people decorate their RVs inside and out.
They also have a light display that sits right on the water of the lagoon, which looks so magickal when the water is like a glass mirror of liquid darkness that the lights sit upon, making the trees look like those spinning top toys when they are erect or like a whirling dervish dancing on a mirrored floor.
We were walking around the lagoon a couple of nights ago and I snapped these photos on our walk of the lagoon and the light displays in the park, as I giggled at the characters I discovered.
As we started to cross the “Happy Holidays” entrance to the bridge we heard the call of a Great Blue Heron that had been sitting near it and in the dark we caught his graceful body and massive wing expanse flying across the water, landing on one of the platforms of a lighted Christmas tree. You can just make out his form there, lit by the lights, to the right in these two photos below. What a wonderful gift and symbolism.
Anyway, I thought I’d share some of the Christmas light fun and beauty here to awaken that spirit of childlike wonder within you.
And like the stillness of the water, set aglow by the lighted Christmas trees mirroring their images upon it, may you also experience that peace within you that is always available, regardless of the energy around, and stand in your light as an example for others to reflect their own.

I can’t tell you how many clients I’m working with, friends, and people I hear from that are all currently working on this theme right now.

I’d like to add a couple of “Heart Thoughts” from Louise L. Hay in addition.
While I know these are some challenging things to embrace for ourselves…they truly are key. I can’t tell you how instrumental your own love for yourself is.
And while I don’t believe solely in reprogramming through affirmations, reading and reciting these words to ourselves with honest reflection and vulnerability, can help to uncover the energetic, emotional, mental, and physical blocks to them so that we can start to shift back into our most natural selves, one layer at a time. This takes some work and courage, but with dedicated commitment to yourself and to living the life you desire, you CAN get there.
So pay attention to the resistance, tightness, pains, thoughts, feelings, etc. when you read and tell yourself these things. What messages do those pains and areas have to share with you? What does your inner child desire from you to support and nurture? What has she/he longed to hear or receive from you?
What you desire from another, or life itself, is the very thing you hold the key to gifting to yourself right now.

“Be gentle, kind and comforting with your inner child as you uncover and release the old, negative messages within you. Say: All my changes are comfortable, easy and fun.

As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering

I couldn’t NOT post this beautiful image that a friend sent me saying she thought of me right away when she saw it. I’d say she knows me quite well, as if this image isn’t me, I don’t know what is.
I get lost, or rather, I find myself in the magick, innocence, inspiration, enchantment, ethereal mystery, and love it conveys. It reminds me of my time in Iceland and of so many elements of life and creation I hold dear.
I could write a story about all the things this image brings up and ignites within me.
