Enlivened & As One With Nature
What I love so much about this adventure we are on is how balanced our lives are by time spent immersed in nature, flow, and feeling as well as our time focused on our paths, home life, and exercising our minds with our chosen pursuits.
Life has increased tenfold in enrichment and there is instant recharge and renewal at our door.
I feel enlivened and more “me” than ever.

I do have to admit that even still I have to maintain focus, as John Muir’s words are always in my heart, “The mountains are calling and I must go.”

Nature beckons me all the time, which is supportive for the creative things I’m focused on, as ideas and inspirations come to me while I am out hiking, as well as the continual retrieval of parts of my ancient self keep on integrating.
Yesterday was one such day, as we did a little hiking and exploring. We went on the Watchman Trail and the short Archaeology Trail just below it that takes you to the site of where an old Pueblo ruin once stood on the hill overlooking the vista.
The rest of the day was just meandering about.

We found ourselves a Collared Lizard friend and butterflies kept coming at me and flying across my path in between Dave and I, and above and around me when I was on my own. A lot of Swallowtail, but also small white and yellow butterflies, as well as one darker black one.

I definitely felt the presence and support of many souls and the connection with the elements, especially the Wind.
When we got to the top of Watchman Trail I felt called to bring forth a short song from my heart that moved through me gently, in reflection of the beauty around me, singing the song of Nature that I saw and felt…not with the same force externally, as can usually happen, but evidently had a force, as once I got deep into my heart expression with it, the Wind suddenly blew through with a force.

A short video was captured of what took place, which I haven’t listened to yet, but will likely share.
There had been no Wind until that moment. Just little gentle breezes. I felt that my song was being reflected and answered and it brought chills and a smile…feeling similar to the time when I sounded in the Great Pyramid of Egypt in the King’s Chamber.

Dave said, “What happened? The Wind suddenly came through like a crazy Wind storm blowing sand everywhere.”
I said, “I was singing.” š

The second time this Wind answered me was while we descended and I was receiving some inspirations for my book and when something came to me that I was feeling out, the Wind again roared through…and I actually had to stop because it again brought up the sand, giving me an exfoliation on my back. LOL!
I said, “Okay, I got it….that’s my answer. Thanks!”
It was a lovely day and we again saw the huge herds of Mule Deer and two herds of Bighorn Sheep….which just tickles my heart and soul.

It would be easy for me to get lost outdoors and not return.
Which reminds me of Everett Ruess, the young artist, poet, and writer who was an explorer of nature and did so alone, disappearing without a trace at the age of 20.

While you explore the photos from yesterday, I’ll let you wander through the words of Everett Ruess.

āI have always been unsatisfied with life as most people live it. Always I want to live more intensely and richly. Why muck and conceal one’s true longings and loves, when by speaking of them one might find someone to understand them, and by acting on them one might discover oneself?ā

āAs to when I shall visit civilization, it will not be soon, I think. I have not tired of the wilderness; rather I enjoy its beauty and the vagrant life I lead, more keenly all the time. I prefer the saddle to the streetcar and star-sprinkled sky to a roof, the obscure and difficult trail, leading into the unknown, to any paved highway, and the deep peace of the wild to the discontent bred by cities. Do you blame me then for staying here, where I feel that I belong and am one with the world around me? It is true that I miss intelligent companionship, but there are so few with whom I can share the things that mean so much to me that I have learned to contain myself. It is enough that I am surrounded with beauty….Even from your scant description, I know that I could not bear the routine and humdrum of the life that you are forced to lead. I don’t think I could ever settle down. I have known too much of the depths of life already, and I would prefer anything to an anticlimax.ā

ā…while I am alive, I intend to live.ā

āI’ll never stop wandering. And when the time comes to die, I’ll find the wildest, loneliest, most desolate spot there is.ā

āI must pack my short lifer full of interesting events and creative activity. Philosophy and aesthetic contemplation are not enough. I intend to do everything possible to broaden my experiences and allow myself to reach the fullest development. Then, and before physical deterioration obtrudes, I shall go on some last wilderness trip to a place I have known and loved. I shall not return.ā
And he didn’t.

The Dance Between Light and Trees

There’s something about experiencing the love story between light and trees that makes your heart flutter.

Such an exquisite dance reminds us of the way in which our own bodies are dancing at the edge of both nature and the ethereal, reflecting our innate grace.

Make Nature Your Best Friend & See The Quality Of Your Life Increase
This is a great article by Florence Williams for National Geographic on the beneficial and life-changing effects of getting closer to Nature.
As I keep sharing, it simply isn’t a luxury anymore, but necessity to return to natural harmony and deepen our relationship with Nature around us, as a means to know our true Nature within.
As the article shares, “All this evidence for the benefits of natureĀ is pouring in at a time when disconnection from it is pervasive”.
It’s amazing how little time most people spend in and around Nature and this is starting out as children who spend more time playing with electronics than spending time outdoors. Not to mention most people live in cities where there’s a larger disconnect from Nature unless you make conscious efforts to surround or immerse yourself in it, in some way in your life.
I remember spending my entire days all summer and after school, playing outdoors while I was growing up. And the rest of the time I was either drawing or reading. I remember that my parents and a couple of the friends that took care of us while my parents were away would let me choose a plant of my choice at the nursery and buy a clay pot to put it in that I then got to color with crayons or paint to decorate as my own.
People wonder how to reduce levels of stress that builds the more they fill their lives with everything but Nature. And yet one of the most powerful answers to reharmonizing, balancing, and more vibrant health and well being is right outside your window and door, and just a creative stretch of your mind away.
Any kind of quality time a little each day will make a huge difference.
Whether immersed in quiet reflection with plants and animals, caring for a plant or garden, taking a walk during your work breaks or in the evening when you return home from work, riding a bike instead of watching television, encouraging your children to venture outdoors by showing them some of the things you used to do when you were young or teaching them how to care for a plant or animal companion, taking a drive to the beach or mountains instead of sitting at your computer or going into the city….it’s not hard to do.
It’s just a choice.
Here’s the great article shared by my friend, Hillary, who like me, really knows the difference that experiencing or living in Nature makes in our lives, as she just moved to her dream ranch a few weeks ago:
First Stop Malibu ~ Nature Reflecting A Way Back To You

view from our picnic table when we arrived
So we landed safely yesterday afternoon to our new home for the next week in Malibu.
I’ve never lived in Malibu, which will end up being the case for all of the destinations we touch ground in over the course of our journey.
So now we actually get a chance to feel out the energy of tons of places we normally would never have the chance to…then better know where we want to ground later down the road when the journey feels at closure.
RV life is really amazing. I get more excited every day.
Again, I know it’s not for everyone, but if you feel it calling to you, or are looking for a different kind of adventure, I highly recommend it.
I don’t think that everyone would necessarily think this would be the way I would enjoy living, based on perceptions they may have of me, but it’s more me than they know!
You can read my post on my discoveries so far, here:
The Gifts RV Living Has To Offer
It’s so fantastic to have all of your life with you where ever you go and get to live in some amazing places and amidst nature in a way you might never.

view from the driver’s seat of the magick bus where we celebrated with refreshments after setting up
Anyway, we’re here in Malibu and our spot is so wonderful nestled against the hillside of cactus, flowers, and brush on one side, only one neighbor on the other side, and the whole Pacific ocean and part of the coastline out the front without obstruction.
I can already feel the shift in energy and feeling greater peace and flow, which will be perfect for this week’s projects I have including painting a book cover and more designs. Can’t wait to see how those channel forth with the new energy.

view from desk last evening…all ocean and coastline as my inspiration
For now, it’s just so wonderful here and I know I’m going to be saying this a lot over the course of the journey because each place will be so unique and wonderful in its own way.
Where we came from in Newport Dunes was really nice, but different nice.
Well situated with a combo of city and nature abound, but the park itself was more crowded and city like where as now we have more space and the park is much less populated and nature is the focus rather than amenities. Just like it was at the Sequoia RV Ranch.
So, nestled on the hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean is where we are just above Pacific Coast Highway.
We don’t have to close our curtains at night so we can see the view all day long.
We can hear the waves crashing on the shore.
We can watch for sea life…this morning we saw dolphins feeding with a flock of pelicans.

sunrise this morning from…you can see the new home my mini traveling garden has on the picnic table over looking the ocean
And we can watch the sunrises and sunsets over the water.
We arrived on an overcast day, and then woke to a brilliant color-splashed sunrise, but as you can see there’s just a beauty and coziness no matter the weather.

view out the back….colors rising over the ocean
I spent the first hour of my morning before anyone was up, taking in the sunrise and watching the ocean with Cosmo on my chest sleeping.
We became the peace together.

my view this morning from my desk as the sun was rising and no one was up yet
And now I’m getting ready to make a vegan pancake feast!
All of this keeps driving home to me what’s most important in my life and to my well being.
And slows down life in a way that feels most natural and not driven by “ideas” that have no validity except the power I place behind them.
It also is helping to solidify the elements we are looking for when we decide to settle down and create a home somewhere again.
Nature has a way of slowing things down and bringing out the best in us.
No matter where you are, I hope that you will take time to enjoy the natural around you.
It truly isn’t a luxury, but a necessary ingredient to harmony, balance, and well being.
Nature is a way back to you…the real embodiment of our essence.
The more I hear about people getting sick, challenges overwhelming people, health crises on the rise…the more this message becomes crucial.
Don’t push off what is available to you today.
Your body and soul will thank you and you’ll become incredibly more productive and creative.
Lost your spark or inspiration?
Feeling overwhelmed and disconnected?
Forgot what is sacred and truly valuable in your life?
Nature is the key to your personal alchemy.
Everything you think is crucial and important really isn’t.
It can all wait.
You can’t.
I Am A Bohemian
A fragrant share by my fellow bohemian friend, Kelly Smith – aka Dove.
“I will say this. A true bohemian is not a hippie. A bohemian wanders with simple luxury in her pack. A bohemian bathes. Fragrance of life is a high ideal. A bohemian is self mastered, thoughtful and owns a moral compass that cannot be trampled or influenced by any person or law. In this way, a Bohemian will never be lawless, but we might break the laws of culture in right action. A bohemian is harmony. We are the observers and the devoted note takers. The alchemy as witness is the ultimate healing. We are the visitors in which great wonder and admiration is our badge. We leave our sacred spaces exactly as we came, or adorned with the magic of gifts agreed to by our environment. We do not take a stone unless we ask. To eat is to be the medicine. This is Peace. The gift of being mindful but decadent in our senses. We do not give our bodies casually. We gift the activity of love as if it were a cosmic consummation, and the intent of this energy is to fuel the high art of living. The words, songs, and textures flow. Our river is strong. We are devoted the innocent and wild. We are not hippies. A bohemian is a lover of OM, the greatest dance of all.
Dove. I am a Bohemian not a hippie.”

Sweet Harmony of Balance ~ Give To Yourself So You Can Keep On Giving To Others
I just misted my face, aura, office, and the bunnies with some potent crystal elixir, after taking 5 different crystal elixirs orally – hehe!!
No, I don’t mess around…I take things all the way very playfully. š
Who needs a Super Full Moon? I may be blasting off soon.
No, but seriously, I’m feeling quite vibed up, to say the least, and have the next infusion of energy and vision for the last couple of sacred tattoo designs I’m completing before I head off into Tania-time.
After having completed quite an epic and powerfully special piece, which I’ll share soon, and being taken on a beautiful and rich journey with it, I’m feeling quite blessed and taking a breath of gratitude.
Seems Spirit was in on the celebratory events, as I received a wonderful gift in the mail yesterday upon completion and one today when I got home – one of which was the yummiest home-made vegan squash bread – more like a bundt cake – from my Faery sis..
Earlier today I took a small couple hour break after providing a rare in-person Reiki session that was scheduled for a dear friend and amazing student of mine who’s an awesome Reiki Master Teacher (providing energetic support to me too, as I receive energy when I channel it), to share lunch and a quick jaunt to the Gem Faire where two items I’ve been wanting a long time showed up – a beautiful Sunstone and Herkimer Diamond pendant. Yay!
Talk about serendipitous gifts.
I’ve also made a point to continue, during these last months, weeks, and days of prep for my 3 months off, to honor my needs and things that nurture me, even though I knew a cut-off point was coming and there was a lot to accomplish in a short period of time.
Things like garden time, spending time with my bunnies, cleaning out my closet, making a nice lunch for myself enjoyed out on the deck, treating myself to something I really wanted, playing music that I love, taking time to do things in general that I wanted to and didn’t think I had time to do, but trusting it would be in the flow of supporting everything to get done if I just did them because I was supporting my intuition and feelings.
Doing this has made everything possible and while it may seem that 3 and a half days is short for the designs I have left to do, it’s in fact perfect, as guess what?
When I follow my guidance and then sit down to work, the channeling comes quickly and magickally, whereas it would take much longer if I wasn’t in alignment energetically.
So, I’m now settled in with my Faery bunnies by my sides and getting ready to tune in to my Pisces vision to commence and put heart and soul into the next design.
Why do I share this?
Because it’s part of impressing upon the fact that nurturing yourself, taking time for things other than having your nose to the grindstone, following the flow of your energy and where it moves you, and treating yourself, all will help you to be much more abundant in all ways and aspects of your life, not to mention provide you with invigorated energy, inspire, and expand your experience.
This topic came up at lunch in fact, so it felt important to share.
Don’t turn things you like into something you dread and hate.
If you want to continue loving what you do, don’t suck the life out of it by squeezing yourself too thin or forcing things that are against the flow of energy and alignments.
Creating balance is important…finding that right blend of personal challenge and gentle flow is key.
You’ll have greater output and efficiency with your work when you follow the energy currents running through things.
It does take practice to decipher between procrastination and force, and truly listening to your intuition and needs.
But with time it will become natural, just as with anything.
You have to condition back in the natural, which was pushed aside for the unnatural.
And all of this is in the wave of the upcoming Super Full Moon, which definitely teaches us about coming to know those undercurrents, as Pisces fish swims into our lives and shines illumination on our experiences.
Personally, this is also igniting a wonderful energy of support with my creations, but also for the bubble of expressive new beginnings I’ll be entering here shortly within the next three days.
Perhaps you’ll find it supportive to the magick you are creating too.
Apparently, tomorrow’s Pisces Full Moon is the first of three Super Moons that we’ll be experiencing in a row.
This one is all about opening to your imagination and intuitive nature and giving them permission, with embrace, to share with you the guidance you can can then apply to your life to make the changes you desire.
So be on the look out for dreams during this time, as you will find answers in messages there to support you. You can ask for answers or signs before heading to bed…place a crystal under your pillow perhaps even, or simply intend to remember your dreams after you place an inquiry to your Higher Self and/or Guides.
Let’s embrace more of our energetic purity and true self, and release the victim-mode, as Pisces will help us with that during this Full Moon.
You have the ability to really access the watery depths of your creativity, intuitive and mystical vision, and connective unity to all.
And don’t forget to cultivate and nourish your life with the sweet harmony of balance.
Pisces ain’t the two fish swimming in opposite directions for nothin’. š
You will find surprising gifts along the way when you honor that sacred relationship with yourself and to all of life.
Listen To Your Body & Love Yourself Into Balance
Today would have been my beloved Nestor’s 12th birthday on the physical plane, yet I still honor her each year on this day, as there was so much she brought to my life, taught me, and continues to support me with from the beyond.
Some of the things she taught me about are the importance of listening deeply within and acting upon/supporting what I hear, how important balance is in life, and the need to nourish and nurture myself body and soul in order to optimally function and be of most benefit in service to others through that nurturing of self.
Her little body was hardly able to hold the vastness of her huge energy and powerful soul. She constantly was blowing herself out physically because of the energetic work she was always doing and supporting others with (on Earth and beyond), and then had crashes where she needed to rebalance, which I supported her with.
I used to be the same way. Going, going, going, giving, energetically flowing things out, constantly expanding and shifting my energy, and taking on tons more than humanly possible, along with not having boundaries, nor being able to stand up for myself until pushed over the edge.
It also eventually would create huge crashes and severe physical manifestations that would then force me to regroup and recharge. I could go on for months and years sometimes doing this, before a major crash would take place.
But just because we are enduring and strong, capable of going on for long periods of time the way we are doing things before crashing, doesn’t mean this is healthy and productive. Not to mention, it also isn’t the natural flow of energy. Your body warns you and provides you with messages along the way to help you to avoid greater severity.
Reflecting on this and how much my life has changed and now IS more flowing, harmonious, and balanced where I don’t experience the crashes and I understand my processes so that I can shift them immediately, brought me to share this with others today prompted by Nestor.
I’ve been to the places of self-sacrifice, even victimhood and martyrdom, and I know the unhealthiness it creates.
I know the importance of listening within and supporting what is in the highest good for all involved through responsible accountability and keeping things balanced and nourished from the inside out.
So pleaseĀ listen to your body…listen to the messages it whispers, as well as cries out loudly.
Your body has an intelligence that works in partnership with your soul.
Our duty is to be the loving nurturers of ourselves.
If your body tells you it is tired…then rest.
If it aches and pinches you with pains…take heed of what is going on in your life currently or what you have been avoiding or repressing.
If your body is not feeling vibrant and healthy…nourish it and your soul with the enriching things it needs physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
You are a miraculous temple of divine intelligence.
Honor that knowingness with love of self in all the ways needed.
It’s also important to create your own personal sanctuary either as a literal place you go to, one that you create, or one you travel to inwardly by imagining a nurturing, safe, and enchanted environment that inspires and supports you.
Know that that special place of serenity and empowerment lies within you always and is available to you when ever you need it.
In the center of your beingness is a place of power that can shift your experience instantly.
Make an effort to journey there and bask in the love and beauty that resides within and you will discover a way to bring balance and harmony back to your life, despite what is going on around you.
Self-nurturing is vital and not a luxury.
May you experience and embody harmony within and without.
