Meatonomics: The Eye-Opening New Book by David Robinson Simon That Lifts The Veil On The Meat And Dairy Industry
“This important book joins the ranks of T. Colin Campbell’s Whole and The China Study in its power to expose the truth and begin to repair the health care crisis.”
~ Patti Breitman, co-author of How to Eat Like a Vegetarian, Even If You Never Want To Be One
“Consumers can only make wise purchases of meat if the price they pay reflects the full cost of producing it—when there are no ‘hidden’ costs like subsidies or environmental damage. Simon is the first author to attempt a complete accounting of all these hidden costs, something that should be applauded by the vegan and meat-lover alike.”
~ F. Bailey Norwood, Ph.D., author of Compassion By the Pound and Professor of Agricultural Economics, Oklahoma State University
There are some incredible visionaries “being the change” and channeling pivotal and illuminating material and creations these days, especially via the medium of books. David Robinson Simon is one such literary visionary whose new book, Meatonomics, is creating major waves across the collective web of life.
If you aren’t familiar yet with David, you will likely hear more about him, as he is a leading voice in the field of sustainable consumption and a voice for the voiceless.
He is also making waves of change for First Amendment rights. Read on below in the interview to find out more about this.
David also happens to be my partner in life and I couldn’t be more proud of the service he is giving from his heart.
However, partner or not, there is no doubt he is one of the most passionately dedicated and influential people I know, working to create a new reality. I’m always amazed by people like him who are able to accomplish so much and who are “doing” so much in terms of helping things to shift – not just talking about it.
Meatonomics has received some astounding and compelling reviews by some influential people and publications, which I’ll let speak for themselves. Some of them include John Robbins, Will Tuttle, Ph.D., Rory Freedman, James McWilliams, Ph.D., Publishers Weekly, Patti Breitman, and more.
I highly recommend you check out what they have to say here: Meatonomics Praise and Reviews
But before getting into what David’s book is about, I decided to do a short interview with him, to provide an inside look at who he is a bit more and how the evolution of his life has brought him to write Meatonomics.
Interview with David Robinson Simon:
Tania: I understand that the majority of your life you have consumed meat and dairy, and in fact you ate a lot of fast food. How long have you been vegan, what brought you to this lifestyle choice, and how has your life changed because of this choice in terms of quality of your life and your relationship to the world at large?
David: Yes, it’s true: for most of my life I was a classic junk-food junkie, living on chili dogs and bacon double-cheeseburgers. I went vegan in the spring of 2008 after watching a few factory-farming videos that simply stunned me with their cruelty. Although I didn’t change my diet for health reasons, I started to notice immediate health benefits. Within the first few months, I lost 15 pounds and my cholesterol dropped from 200 to 160 (now it’s 140).
But for me, the main benefit of a vegan lifestyle has been a greater feeling of connectedness with the planet and its inhabitants. I tread with a lighter footprint. And I think I’ve become more empathetic and compassionate in my interactions with others.
Tania: What was the driving force behind writing Meatonomics for you?
David: A few years ago, I emailed a slaughterhouse video to a friend who taught at a major law school to see what he would think of it. He wrote back that while the practices in the film were clearly inhumane, they were likely illegal – and for that reason, they were anomalies. But after doing some research, I learned that in fact, the cruel practices that show up in slaughterhouse videos are generally legal. That’s because unlike most other animals, who are protected from cruelty, farmed animals are not covered by most states’ anti-cruelty laws. For example, Connecticut makes it completely legal to “maliciously and intentionally” torture, mutilate, or kill a farmed animal.
These laws are bad for animals and consumers, and they serve only one purpose: to help factory farmers make more money. Further, such laws – and the behaviors they spur in producers – are responsible for a variety of social ills, including health problems, environmental damage, and classic “market failure” in the meat and dairy system. The economic forces of factory farming have not received much attention, so I thought this would make a good subject for a book.
Tania: Speaking of laws, can you share a little about your work in regard to exercising the First Amendment and how you are helping to protect this right?
David: California is one of the few states where free speech rights can be exercised inside a shopping mall. However, since most shopping malls would rather not have people inside protesting or doing outreach, the malls do their best to quash these rights. By writing letters and sometimes threatening – or actually pursuing – litigation, I’ve convinced a number of malls in Southern California to let people engage in much more meaningful expressive activity. I’m currently litigating a pro bono case for an animal advocacy group against South Coast Plaza, the biggest mall in Southern California and one of the biggest in the country.
Tania: If you could only share one thing that you felt it important for people to know about food consumption and its effects, what would that be?
David: Despite the conventional wisdom that says meat and dairy are good for us, the overwhelming body of objective, clinical research shows the opposite – that these foods are damaging our health. Americans’ meat consumption has doubled in the past 75 years, and that’s the main reason why one in three of us have heart disease, two in three are overweight, and we have three times the incidence of cancer as the rest of the world.
Tania: What do you hope people take away from your book?
David: I hope readers will see that U.S. animal food producers use a variety of sophisticated techniques to make consumers buy more meat and dairy, which causes Americans to eat more meat per capita than any other people on the planet. I hope readers will learn how they’re being manipulated by factory farmers, and that, particularly in the huge quantities Americans consume these foods, meat, fish, eggs and dairy are not healthy. And finally, I hope readers will use that knowledge to reduce their consumption of animal foods – or better yet, give them up completely.
Tania: When you aren’t practicing law, advocating for animals, or helping to create a conscious world through your insightful and inspirational work, what do you enjoy doing in your off-time?
David: Spending time with family and friends is one of the most important things to me. Since get-togethers seem to typically revolve around food, they often involve interesting vegan restaurants (two of my favorites are Crossroads and Shojin in Los Angeles). I also try to get some exercise a few times a week; which usually means yoga or swimming at the gym and I try to meditate or stretch in the mornings when I can.
I like to read and am a big fan of classics that I can read for free on my Kindle (I found most of Thomas Hardy’s novels that way). I also like independent films and documentaries and watch a few of those a week. We don’t have regular TV so aside from indie films and documentaries there are a few Netflix series I enjoy, including Portlandia, Breaking Bad, House of Cards, and Hemlock Grove.
Weekends are the best. If I’m not on a hike, at the beach, or struggling in the garden (unfortunately I do not have a green thumb), I might be lying on the couch taking a cat-nap – with a real cat curled up next to or on top of me.
About Meatonomics:
David Simon’s Meatonomics (Conari Press, 2013) is a leading book in its genre to actually explore the unseen economic forces driving our animal food system, and the eye-opening, strange ways these forces are affecting consumers’ and taxpayers’ spending, eating, health, prosperity, and longevity. It also sheds light on how consumer decisions are largely influenced by external and extremely misleading factors, taking away our conscious decision making process in terms of what, or even how much, we consume.
For almost as long as they’ve been in use, factory farms have been synonymous with three kinds of problems: environmental, nutritional, and ethical. But today, new data compels us to consider an overlooked fourth category: economic.
Meatonomics illuminates this bizarre system and provides ways to fix it. It is also a new look at the upside-down industry of meat and dairy production/factory farming, and its revelations are shocking.
David shares: One curious fact to emerge from the book is that animal food producers impose almost $2 in hidden costs on Americans for every $1 of product they sell at retail. Another is that by “externalizing” most of their costs in this fashion and taking other steps to keep prices artificially low and manipulate buying behavior, these producers deprive consumers of the ability to make informed, independent decisions about how much meat and dairy to eat. That’s the main reason Americans consume more meat per person than anyone else on the planet.

David Simon Discusses “Meatonomics” in this Video Trailer:
From the Ocean’s Creative Depths a Cosmic Rebirthing Emerges Through an Enchanting Underwater Sacred Tattoo Design
I really enjoy each of the sacred tattoo designs I have the honor to assist with and this one was an added joy, as it blended dear elements of my own heart, as well as was for a dear soul in my life.
I wanted to make sure to create something that was reflective of my seeing her in her wholeness, yet that would also hold the space for her highest potential through a graceful and flowing journey of evolution.
She already had an older tattoo (as you see pictured left), which was my foundation to work from, and then I had to incorporate the new elements to transform it into the new energy of who she is now and is becoming.
The result was this channeled creation you see above, which is almost like a cosmic, underwater enchantment scene that is the landscape of her essence as seen from within, reflected out, and will hold the space and energy of this. It also reflects within this, the concept of “as above, so below”, as well – helping to create the core foundation that supports and sustains her new birthing into being.
She shared with me some of the symbols she is drawn to and having known her story, I was guided to use the symbols of the lotus, dolphin, mermaid and spiraling energy of water and cycles of life for this creation. These seemed to speak through her most at this time in her life and as most reflective of her journey in essence. A couple of additions that came through were a sort of cosmic infinity flame at center of the dolphin and mermaid and the two spiraling nautilus shells anchoring the energy below.
The design she already had directs energy both down to her Root Chakra and the Earth, through the point at the bottom, as well as up and out in all directions of the wave spirals.
The design I created adds to this with drawing energy up through the highest point at top, furls out through the opening lotus petals, and spirals in all directions with the extended side designs of what I see as reflective of the water’s energy, spirals of life, and also of the stems and roots of the lotus below the water that anchor and ground.
The top of the design is more organic and then blends into a symmetry and balance of delicate flow, rooted in the ancient nautilus shells that have a feminine curving grace, from which the spiraling energy emerges.
The design will slightly and gracefully wrap around to the sides with a flowing essence that moves the energy not only up and down, but circling around, left and right as well – the four directions. I wanted to try to make the design look like it was meant to be created as one piece, rather than looking like we are piecing things together – like it was meant that way originally. In a way, it has sort of a henna-like design quality/feel to it with a two-dimensional aspect, plus some three-dimensional aspects at top.
The essence of the piece captures a rebirthing process, an integration of duality into wholeness, a partnering of the twin soul aspect within self and then respectively, also with another.
The mermaid – an aspect of her, as well as the dolphin.
It carries the magical flow essence that creatures of the ocean know very well how to do, the continuous evolving through the spirals of life, the waves of the ocean, the nautilus symbolism, healing others through the healing waters represented in the spiraling waves, as well as the dolphins in their nurturing gentleness and Universal Love nature that knows the connective state of each other as a collective community, and it embodies peace, harmony, joy and love that she wanted.
It even has the quality of “Namaste” emanating subtly that she had mentioned wanting too, as there is a subtle design aspect that I added to be like two hands coming together in prayer/honoring that you can see the top of the fingers of, at center top of the design/doubling as lotus petals (which are also like cosmic flames themselves) – and the dolphin and mermaid are each aspects entwined into one of what would be the two hands at either side.
I added a cosmic infinity flame I created between the two, where the lotus unfurls to birth this fusion of divine union.
Dolphins symbolize playfulness, transcendence, gentleness, harmony, intelligence, contentment, friendship, community, resurrection, generosity, power, compassion, well being, purity of heart.
As I shared from astrologer Cathy Lynn Pagano in my earlier post today on the Full Blue Moon in Aquarius:
“The Sabian symbol for the Sun at 29* Leo is: A mermaid emerges from the ocean waves ready for rebirth in human form. In one sense, a mermaid symbolizes a new feeling arising from the collective unconscious. Part woman, part fish, the mermaid brings us news of what is going on in the creative depths of the ocean which gave us all birth. A new manifestation of the Anima Mundi or World Soul yearns to be reborn as Lady Wisdom.
This felt so perfect for the symbolism of the mermaid in the design.
The lotus is a powerful and ancient image symbolizing harmony, spiritual illumination and unlimited potential. The lotus is a type of water lily which rises from the sludge of muddy waters and opens into a beautiful flower. It is often used as a mandala, or circular symbol, but any way you use the Lotus in a spiritual practice, it will provide a resonant field that reinforces the concept of resurrection. Human mistakes and challenges are the fertilizer for brilliance and awakened creation as the Lotus shows us. Born in the murkiest of ponds, Lotus still emerges pure. Use the Lotus as a reminder that “this, too, shall pass.” Be assured that all fertilizer nurtures a beautiful new life. In the greater world, Lotus is a peaceful cosmic beacon for forgiveness, gratitude and compassion to prevail where the sludge of conflict has resided. Using this symbol on water invites a balance between humility and pride.
The Nautilus shells to me are of an ancient nature and with its integrated chambers is symbolic of continuous progress, balance, new ideas, visionary discoveries, innovation and inspiration, renewal, eternal continuity, expansion, consistency, evolution, interconnectedness, divine perfection, natural flow, stability and internal harmony within regeneration, abundant creative energy – in general, a symbol of life and “the journey home” to Source within All That Is, through a succession of transcendent spirals. When gazing upon the Nautilus it provides a serene sense of balance and well being.
The spiral itself is a symbol of creation, movement, fluidity, surrender/releasing, holistic growth, and awareness of the one within the context of the whole. It reveals the cyclical nature of life, the consciousness of nature from core center expanding outward, and the relationship between unity and multiplicity. It is the limitless spirals that move both “inward towards the Source of creation and eternally outward with Source’s continual self-creation.” In this way, the spiral reflects the contiguous journey home to who you really are and the journey to be one with Source.
Overall, there is a feeling of connection both to the Earth and Cosmos, that is grounded, yet flowing, as well as continually blossoming with renewal, the quality of Divine Goddess energy that is whole in sacred union from within, there is a sense of her exquisite nature and simplistic elegance, loving tenderness, yet empowered beingness, nurturing and creative passion of her spirit that is being both celebrated, as it blossoms, AND shared with others, and inner peace in all of life’s cycles.
I’m sure there is much more that can be found and felt. And really the details don’t matter as much so as the essence of how it feels when it is worn as a mirror of the soul, and gazed upon by anyone who mirrors that reflection.
I so love to see what channels through with each person, as I truly believe that the essence of the soul is reflected in the design that emerges. True beauty is all I see when I work with each person, and the result of that in manifested design, is the unique channel of the soul mirrored.

Full Blue Moon in Aquarius ~ August 20th 2013
We are at yet another Full Moon (time flies) and a Blue Moon at that! This is the second Full Moon in the air sign of Aquarius we are experiencing this year – the first was July 22nd, 2013. It is opposite the Sun in the fire sign of Leo.
Air and fire are both wonderful purification elements that can be useful in supporting the release of outmoded everything – especially ideas and beliefs about yourself that are blocking you from being your natural you and living from your authentic core beingness. This is particularly a good time to create a sacred ritual around this process of letting go, transmutation, and integration.
“If you have built your castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.” ~Henry David Thoreau
This is a time for grounding visions into manifested form, as you come into your trueness, and for following your heart completely in order to utilize its power of love and creative magic to materialize new opportunities, realities, and doorways of experience.
“A window of opportunity won’t open itself.” ~Dave Weinbaum
You must be ready to embrace and move with the changes that flow in and to follow the guidance of your intuitive knowingness with full trust and action. There is no time to push the nudges off until tomorrow. Seize the moment, as tomorrow is only a continuum of what you choose from the now.
Be love, stay alert and present, keep balanced, trust what you know without proof, always stay in and listen to your heart, and you will raise your vibration with this consistent practice.
This is also a time for creativity to be flooding your experience and it’s opportune and important to allow that channel of self-expressive passion to flow through. This will allow you to grow and experience more of yourself, bringing you to an experience of self value and love that is important in your ability to give of the same to others in service of your gifts.
Be willing to face everything on the most intimate of levels within yourself. This courageous vulnerability to look within, will be the point of power to transform your experiences.
Leo is the confident energy of heart-centered creativity, spirit, love, and both generosity to self and others. And with this comes the responsibility of knowing you are powerful, not powerless, in every situation. Leo’s fiery alchemy has the ability to help us transmute and go into a new and more profound understanding of ourselves and All That Is.
A good example of this energy, is one of my favorite Egyptian Goddesses – Sekhmet – Lady of the Sacred Flame/Eye of the Sun/The Powerful One – who is the creative fire and energizing life force within the creation. She wears the Solar Serpent – symbol of regeneration – and her power is a partnering duality of creation (development of life) along with destruction (death). These are the natural cycles of life that maintain the universal harmony of cosmic order.
It is time to realize our worth and embrace, with fullness of heart, being our own responsible, conscious authority and creative alchemist in the world – much like the caterpillar to butterfly effect.
This brings us to the power of the air element of Aquarius with its higher mind of cosmic and divine order that operates from the highest good and benefit of humanity. You will find your freedom, when you are operating from the bigger picture vision of harmony, co-creating, and altruistic love.
Everything starts within us and that is where you need to look and work with first and foremost.
As Cathy Lynn Pagano, astrologer and author of a new book, “Wisdom’s Daughters: How Women Can Change the World” shares:
“The Sabian symbol for the Sun at 29* Leo is: A mermaid emerges from the ocean waves ready for rebirth in human form. In one sense, a mermaid symbolizes a new feeling arising from the collective unconscious. Part woman, part fish, the mermaid brings us news of what is going on in the creative depths of the ocean which gave us all birth. A new manifestation of the Anima Mundi or World Soul yearns to be reborn as Lady Wisdom.
(I love this part about the mermaid, as I’m currently finalizing a sacred tattoo design that synchronously incorporates a mermaid and cosmic flame, which I’ll share later today)
The Sabian symbol for the Moon at 29* Aquarius is: A butterfly emerging from a chrysalis. This emergence speaks of a complete metamorphosis, a structural renewal of the patterns of life and relationship. We have to let go of the old structures that emerged from the archetypes long ago, structures which built patriarchy when we needed that form. But now those forms are dead and deadening. When archetypal patterns lose the feeling depths, they become stereotypes. We live in a culture of stereotypes which urgently needs renewal. Let the archetypal energies of life renew themselves in new patterns and forms, reshaping humanity to a larger consciousness and beauty.”
A “Spiritual Skin” Design Graces the Cover of Kathy Jourdain’s New Book, “Embracing The Stranger In Me: A Journey to Open Heartedness”
Today I want to briefly share some very exciting news about an inspirational new book that is now available. Not only do I foresee it being another empowering tool that will support many globally, but I am also deeply honored and grateful to have my artwork gracing the cover.
Kathy Jourdain and I connected via Facebook, through a synchronous connection via another sacred tattoo design I created for a shared friend. It was an instant bond right from the onset and it was clear our paths were meant to converge to channel this divinely aligned co-creation. I can’t express enough what an honor it has been to work with Kathy and to experience the beauty of such an amazing bridge worker spreading her light and love all over the world.
From client to friend, I cherish the connection she and I now share, as bridge workers and beyond, as well as cherish all of the amazing soul friendships that I have been blessed to have in my life that the service I do enables me to connect with.
Kathy will be sharing more about the amazing story behind her sacred tattoo, which she also now wears upon her back over her Heart Chakra, once her website is launched here shortly. In the meantime, I would just like to express how meaningful and priceless the work I do is to me, that bridges connections between myself and so many across the globe in deep ways.
As Kathy shares, and I heart and soul-fully agree, “When she gets homesick, it is not for the place she calls home, but for the people she has the privilege of knowing and falling in love with all over the world.”
Beautifully and perfectly put Kathy – my sentiments exactly.
I just received a copy of Kathy’s new book, “Embracing The Stranger In Me: A Journey to Open Heartedness” – published by Balboa Press – A Division of Hay House, in the mail this weekend and was so moved to see and feel the emanation of this stunning cover that seems to glow with such powerful simplicity, the core essence of her story. It was a beautiful, channeled, collaborative co-creation between Kathy, the Balboa Press designers, and myself.
What an amazing gift to receive and more so, was the beautiful, personally signed dedication I found inside the cover from Kathy that truly touched my heart. Thank you Kathy.
I am so looking forward to continuing to read her personal journey, seeded deep in symbolism that threads a woven tapestry of experience – one that we can each find gems of inspiration, empowerment, and support from. After which, I will share a review.
In the meantime, here is a brief overview of Kathy Jourdain’s book:
This is an empowering—though at times heartbreaking—work that seeks to encourage others to embrace their inner selves in the face of adversity. It illuminates how we make meaning of our experiences by the stories we tell and how stories of human tragedy can be transformed through the perspective of soul journey with the potential to shift the shape of your life.
And here are a few of the many wonderful comments from people about Kathy and her book that continue to flow in:
“Reading your book is an intimate exchange between the reader and the book.”
“You are an amazing story teller! I was riveted…”
“This amazing book has made me laugh out loud, weep, ponder, and made my hands sweat and shake…sometimes while reading the same page!”
“I am devouring your book. Opened it this morning and having been reading it ever since. I am touched by your grace, eloquence, and honesty.”
About Kathy Jourdain:
This book took shape and form at the confluence of three significant threads in Kathy Jourdain’s life over five years from 2005 to 2010. One was awakening to a spiritual lineage deeply buried in her consciousness. Another was being confronted by a physical lineage she had no idea existed. The third was discovering how to walk in the world with strength, joy, and compassion and to be powerful in her vulnerability, growing her depth of presence and capacity to do deep, meaningful work in the world.
Kathy is a powerful practitioner of the Art of Hosting Conversations That Matter, a self-organizing, emergent global network living the principles and practices of shared responsibility and shared leadership. It demands that practitioners become increasingly self-aware and present and that they collaborate with others in tackling some of the most pressing issues of our time.
As a global steward of these principles and practices, Kathy is invited into hosting teams and consulting work for increasingly difficult work, primarily in Canada, the United States and Brazil. She shares what she is learning through her writing on her blog, Shape Shift.
She was born in Nova Scotia, was raised there and has lived there all her life. She currently resides in Bedford.
Embracing The Stranger In Me: A Journey to Open Heartedness by Kathy Jourdain is available now from Balboa Press here:
This title is also available through your local bookseller or preferred on-line retailer. And if you’re in Halifax, Nova Scotia, you can also now find it on the shelves of Little Mysteries.

A Little Message of Personal Gratitude that Pervaded My Day
This is just a short little post of some extra love and gratitude in my heart that’s been flowing through my day. I almost was going to post this on Facebook, but I felt guided, rather, to document it here on the pages that mean very much to me.
My day since this morning has been unfolding beautifully and magically, including some encounters with others at a few stores I visited after my session, and continues to carry forth into my design time right now.
Today was yet another reminder to count my blessings and deepen my gratitude.
As I was supporting a regular client of mine in an in-home Reiki session today I was feeling the Divine reflection of the relating and connection, and after, I had to take a moment in the car before driving away to regroup, so to speak, feeling choked up, and to reflect on how much I love what I do and am grateful for the honor and opportunity to do it.
The opportunities to connect with and support so many souls in such a profound way, from all walks of life and from all over the world, there simply are no words for, to share how beautiful that is. Whether it’s sending support by distance, through an email, in a brief exchange at the grocery store, or in some beautiful spot on the globe, the feeling is the same. It just overflows in warm, precious rainbow bubbles within the heart.
I know that many of you teachers and healers know what I’m sharing.
Today’s session with a spiritually open man in his early 70’s, an Australian native living in the hills of Laguna Beach, where we connect in an empowering way to support his challenges and to help him to move into a new phase of his life, is one of those priceless moments in my life.
After providing the session, done with the backdrop of the ocean view through the window, I could only say:
“Thank you for the honor of being here with this soul, at this time. There’s no place I would rather be. And at every moment, I am exactly where I need to be, where ever that is. All is truly Divine in the world.”
Creating a Gateway Through the Heart Chakra for Connection & Telepathic Communication

Heart Sanctum ~ “Love In, Love Out” by Tania Marie
30” x 30” Acrylic on Canvas

I was reading a channeled message this morning about “The Power of Portals” from Peggy Black and the “team” and found it to be aligned with what I wanted to share today about the heart and its ability to bridge communication by assisting with telepathy. In the message, they discussed the energy centers/portals that exist in all dimensions, both planetary and off-planet, as well as the ones that reside within our body temples – called Chakras. All of these acting as gateways into other spaces and dimensions, as well as to deeper levels of connecting.
The part that of course stood out was the sharing about the Heart and its powerful importance in our roles as the Multi-dimensional Beings that we are. Why? Because to me, the Heart has always held the key and is my truth for alchemy of all experiences.
It is also the Heart that creates the possibility for pure and vulnerable communication. It can assist you in clearing the other Chakras and empowering them into their wholeness, as it is the integrative “Bridge” between all of them – Lower and Upper. When this clarity opens more and more within your Chakra system – governed by the heart, this is when telepathic relating becomes much clearer and easier to exchange between each other, as it once was.
I know I’ve said it before, but telepathy is my preferred method of communicating and have always been utilizing it even though I write and talk just as anyone else. I do find words to be limiting however, and so this is when I may go silent and yet am ever-present.
There is much more going on beneath the surface in all that I convey and I find that it is so much easier to share the magnitude of feeling or to describe something, when it is conveyed through a projected feeling, vision, essence…
I’ve been excited to see how telepathy is increasing and this is evident in all of the synchronous and immediate experiences that take place right after you feel or think something inside of, and with all of, your heart. Others are picking up on it and reflecting it back. And the more and more we work with the healing power of the heart, the more powerful all of our experiences become and the more pure and clear of intent they are.
It is my hope that we continue to re-engage this innate ability we have, as it truly makes for more simplified ways of experiencing. It removes the veils and walls, as well as the need to manipulate or devise ways of expressing ourselves that create confusion, static and inconsistency, since they do not match the energy and feeling behind the words. Yes, of course this may be scary, to actually have your feelings revealed, but the truth is, they already ARE being felt and known, whether you like it or not.
People just may not be telling you, yet you may find, if you become more present in heart with yourself and others, that you will know right away when you are being true to yourself, when others are being true, and why perhaps different circumstances than you hoped from what you concocted to say, happen. And why perhaps some people are not in your experience anymore or are not as eager to listen to what you have to say, until you align your feelings and thoughts more.
People who are sensitive to energy, feel the truth behind your words. And your own experiences reveal the truth, as you manifest, attract, and reflect exactly what is a mirror of your energy and core feelings, not what is a mirror of your words.
In order to align with all parts of yourself, the Heart will be your best support system in doing so, as it helps you to intuitively sense from its awareness. It has the ability to feel and see where something is blocked and closed within your Chakras and through its wisdom and healing, can help to shift, and in essence return, the imagined pains into free flowing empowerment once again.
And when you have an empowered and clear heart, you not only will have more enriching connections and communication here on Earth with all of life, but you will also create a pure gateway to Galactic and Universal energy at large.
As one of my favorite Books/Movies – The Secret of Nimh – shares from the words of Nicodemus (as you know simplicity is what I favor):
“Courage of the heart is very rare. The stone has a power when it’s there.” – In essence, when you have the courage to embrace, TRULY, going into the vulnerability of your heart, you discover its strength that has the power to move mountains and to change anything with its alchemy.
Here is the channeled message from Peggy and the “team” I will leave you with:
“The most important portal/chakra in the human is the heart. It is the heart which manages and maintains the entire physical form. It is the consciousness of the heart, the energy field of the heart that is the link and the connection to the divine and to life itself. The heart is the gateway to all awareness and well-being. The heart is the thinking/feeling/knowing aspect of a multidimensional starhuman.
Your culture, your society; your programming and teachings have not included this important piece of information. It is the mystic, the seer, the sensitive who has recognized that the heart is the doorway to all intelligent knowing.
The health of the human heart is and has been one of the mysteries in your medical field. What is not included in the information is the realization that the heart is the cosmic gateway for each individual. This is the seat of your unique self. It is from the open, loving, conscious heart that all things unfold and all mysteries are resolved.
We are inviting you to continue with your dedicated intention to heal your heart portal for it is through this heart portal that galactic and universal energy is received.
The most important tool in the healing, harmonizing and balancing of your heart portal is to continue to turn your awareness to the vibrations of joy, gratitude and appreciation. It is the power of these vibrations which allows the heart center/heart portal to heal from all the emotional wounds carried. It is your willingness and intent that can heal your heart.
The heart portal was designed to serve as the gateway to the stars. This heart portal allows the energy to flow from divine source and the heart center processes this energy for the expansion of the human being.
Each human being is asked to give service work for the wholeness and healing of the heart center of humanity. It is when human beings live from an open and healed heart portal that they know and feel their connections with each other as the true multidimensional star beings that they are.”
Pre-Order Special – Prints Now Available of Eternal Harmony – The Journey Home

Eternal Harmony – The Journey Home by Tania Marie
30″ x 40″ Acrylic on Canvas with a touch of Metallic Gold at Center
There was an amazing response to this painting I posted a few weeks ago that really kind of blew me away. I was so moved by the sharing of feelings that people had from viewing this and the extent to which they described those feelings and what it reflected for them.
This inspires the creative force behind what I do, as while I express my authenticity, I am aware how it simultaneously is collectively connected in service.
When I create a channeled painting, it is always Source from which I am creating from that comes through my individual connection and expression of that.
Because of this and after receiving several messages from people that were interested in ordering prints of it, I looked into making that possible and am happy to share that this will be so.
It really meant a lot to me to feel what others received from this channeled creation, as it reflected something very pure birthing forth.
I was deeply touched by this expression that someone shared when they saw it:
“What a breathtaking painting, Tania. The energy of Love you infused into this is as unmistakable as the essence of Divine Inspiration that gave birth to it. It truly represents our collective journey Home, with the various swirls symbolizing the various life experiences that all serve to lead us to a beautiful and infinite space in the center of the Universe….which can be said is our Heart and Soul.”
I shared about this piece when I first posted it, which you can read here: Eternal Harmony – The Journey Home
