Tania Marie: What’s Ours Is Already Written

A scenic hiking trail winding through a colorful autumn landscape, with golden and green foliage, framed by tall trees under a blue sky with white clouds.

There is a softer way of moving through life that I’ve learned to trust more deeply.

One that doesn’t require reaching for every answer, forcing clarity before it arrives, or running toward what we fear we might somehow miss.

There is peace in remembering that what is ours does not need to be chased.

This past weekend, while staying at my parents’ home, an intricate, large web appeared stretched across the sky above the house, suspended between the upper and lower rooflines and revealed only because the sunlight caught its delicate threads. Something about seeing it there, held between different levels of a place woven so deeply into my own beginnings, felt especially meaningful. It was a beautiful reflection of the unseen—something already woven and held in place before the light allowed me to see it.

There are threads being woven beyond what we can presently see. Some things are already making their way toward us while we are still wondering where the path leads.

What’s ours is already written.

Not as something that removes our choice or participation, but as a deeper trust that what truly belongs within the unfolding of our lives has its own way of finding us.

Closed doors can gently turn us toward openings we couldn’t yet see.

No’s can become protection.

Pauses can become breaths that expand the promise rather than interrupt it.

Silence can hold answers we would have drowned out by searching too hard for them.

And what appears to be nothing happening may be life quietly rearranging itself beyond our sight.

The natural world seems to understand this without effort.

A butterfly doesn’t rush its becoming. Autumn doesn’t pull the gold from the trees before they are ready. The Moon moves through darkness and fullness without questioning the timing of either.

A butterfly with orange and black markings perched on yellow flowers surrounded by green leaves.

Even this morning, pink clouds opened across the sunrise around a perfect blue heart—as though the sky itself had briefly made room for what was already there.

Lately, I have needed more of that spaciousness myself.

More rest. More quiet. More sleep. Less reaching outward for answers and more willingness to let what is moving beneath the surface move without my interference.

This weekend’s golden Harvest Full Moon felt especially potent for me in that way. I could feel so much working behind the scenes, while something within me simply wanted to become very still.

I am preparing now for my return to Egypt, and this journey already feels unlike any that have come before it. I can feel the magnitude of a new season of my life gathering around its edges, and rather than trying to understand what it will mean before I live it, I want to meet it from the quiet.

To listen.

To receive.

To sleep when my body asks for sleep.

To allow what is ending to fall away like autumn leaves, and what is becoming to remain unseen for as long as it needs.

So this may be my last little note here until I return in early November. I feel called to give this time before I leave the spaciousness it is asking for—to prepare quietly, replenish deeply, and arrive open enough to receive whatever may already be written there for me.

There will be time to share what Egypt opens, changes, reveals, and leaves quietly settling within me when I am home again. For now, I feel called to make room for the experience itself.

The trees are beginning to turn gold here.

The butterfly is still visiting the autumn flowers.

The web is already woven.

The Moon continues on her way.

And somewhere within all of this, life reminds me that I don’t have to run toward what belongs to me.

What’s meant for us has been moving toward us, too.
