Walking With Integrity
I posted this thought and these questions on Facebook yesterday and it inspired a lot of reflective shares from many on what integrity meant to them.
So I felt it important to repost it here for my blog readers, along with a very thorough and thought provoking article to expound on the subject.
Here is my share:
A thought to ponder….
Everyone has a different definition, idea, belief, perspective, feeling, and way of embodying everything, and that definitely comes to words and how people choose to walk them, as a reflection of those individually chosen/accepted ways.
One particular word right now that comes to mind is “integrity”. I especially find variances with this one in terms of how each person chooses to embody and therefore reflect this.
What does “integrity” mean to you?
Are you mindful with everything you do and say, as to how this reflects your individual values around integrity – both personal integrity and the integrity you’d desire from others, which in effect will be a result of how you yourself are walking it?
And how do you, each day, put forth presence of your mindfulness to walk in wholeness of what this means to you?
This is a long read, but a valuable and insightful article by Cat Thompson to help you reflect on the connection between your words and actions:
