Emanation ~ Real Life Mermaid Hannah Fraser & Ocean Animals
This is such a beautiful montage of Hannah Fraser’s underwater artistry as a “real life mermaid”.
I’ve posted Hannah’s work before in her “Tigress” video where she dances with Tiger Sharks underwater in a performance protest against the Australian shark cull and the global slaughter of sharks.
Enjoy the enchantment!
“Tigress” – Woman Dances With Tiger Sharks
This is beautiful! Sharks are such amazing, mysterious, sentient beings of primordial essence. We are so programmed to fear sharks, not to mention most things in life. This is yet another attempt to help us shift our perspectives and learn to value all of life.
In a performance protest against the Australian shark cull and the global slaughter of sharks, a woman – Hannah Fraser – risks it all to dance on the sea floor with swarms of tiger sharks up to 17 feet long without any dive or protective gear.
Hannah Fraser, also known as Hannah Mermaid, is a professional mermaid, cetacean activist, and environmentalist, who creates her own functional yet highly artistic tails. She features in short films, music videos, ad campaigns, photo shoots, environmental docos, large events, aquariums and parties. She recently appeared in the Oscar award winning film, ‘The Cove’, and stars in an upcoming tv special risking her life to swim with Great White Sharks! Hannah has trained to hold her breath for minutes at a time and can swim to depths of over 30 feet. A passionate environmentalist, Hannah has also traveled the world speaking at events and conventions about her experiences swimming with great white sharks, humpback whales, seals, dolphins, turtles, manta rays, and other marine life to inspire people to conserve the Ocean environment.
Here is her underwater dance with the Tiger Sharks followed by an a link to the “on location” behind the scenes look:
