As 2023 comes to an end, I always like to reflect on what the year has held for me and the collective, and also what I’ve held space for and moved energetically and literally within the year.

How many of you take time to review your year, see how far you’ve come, assess what you want to carry forth or release, and/or have your own little ritual or process for ending and entering new cycles – whether that’s a new calendar year, birth or Moon phase cycle, or any other cycles or transits that you follow?

It was a huge year, as I surmised in some ways that it would be with all the major milestones for myself and my loved ones, but was also very defining in poignant and surprising ways as well. I know for many of the collective family too.

It is both endearing and divine that what was experienced took place in the Year of the Water Rabbit – including a historical Winter that made the books and The Magick Rabbit, Astrid, returning to the stars.

(Take a look at this heart rock we saw at Astrid’s Cove just days ago – we named it that a couple of months ago after merging a pinch of her ashes with her beloved crystalline lake home here.)

My 50th year of embodiment held long-awaited openings, twists and turns, unforgettable and life course-shifting experiences, new, but written-in-the-stars connections, and, overall, will always hold a special place in my heart.

It’s been a year of huge physical losses for many of us and across the world, as we’ve held loving space for so many souls who have chosen to return to their most expansiveness. That left many feeling an empty space, taken by surprise, and now navigating new ways of being, as the leaning into of a new way of experiencing consciousness and Cosmic love beckons.

Just this last month of 2023 four people I know have lost their fathers or seen a loved one decline – this to include fur children. Relationships have gone through transformations as well – loss and undoing to kindling and renewal.

There’s been so much in the world that can seem without reason and yet is part of that spontaneous excavation the planet and our souls on some level have yearned for in order to bring things to light and rework the very fabric of existence into something more aligned to the heart of who we really are.

And as always, while some doors close, others open. The other side of that coin has been an incredible amount of new beginnings that stir from the literal and symbolic ashes.

It’s a murky process individually and collectively, but has rich rewards when seen through.

One main thing that continues to speak to me is how key it is to find one’s own anchor – the way you can stabilize yourself, return to balance, and remain in your personal power. As not only is this fundamental for your own wellness and ability to sustain the twists and turns around you, but it allows you to also be the anchor for others who need, or soon will need, that frame of reference for themselves when they get swept up and away in the darker moments.

How we walk through life cultivates a way for others, even without saying a word.

This last month flew by for me. It was a very full and busy month feeling like a huge amount of things happened in a short period.

We’ve yet to have any big Winter storm hits. The pendulum is doing it’s normal rebalancing swings -when one extreme hits, there will usually come a course redirect.

That’s not to say we may still see a later big Winter, but for now things are quiet and continuing to ride the edge of the in between while things percolate in the background to envision and create what’s next.

This has provided us with more hiking much later into the season, while still having a little ski fun now and then. The mountain is only partially open with just a few runs available to ski and it does seem a bit quieter this year from tourists.

Lower elevation hiking ranges from clear terrain to some snow and ice that calls for crampons at times.

At times we venture higher and have enjoyed some truly magickal moments and views.

The days are beautiful and with nights in the 20’s, frost is left each dawn of a new day. This brings us to some mystical experiences on late morning hikes through newly dusted realms.

This was a favorite hike at the top, the day before Christmas Eve.

I couldn’t get enough of these mystical visions and in person it was surreal and otherworldly with light beams streaming off the morning Sun through the mist at center that were very pronounced although don’t show up in the photos.

We enjoyed a taste of both worlds that day, with a hike at the top of the mountain and then followed by a shorter walk at lake level, highlighted by the approaching Cancer Full Moon of the 26th.

It was also on this day that our male, black cat, Boojum had a turnaround.

I’ve mentioned we have two nearing 17 year old cats that are both in their golden years now. Boojum had some severe declines right after Astrid departed, but had been maintaining. After another one the 23rd we took him in to the vet to dig deeper, as I felt he was coming to me to say there’s something else. We happened to get a different doctor that day and long story short, we discovered he had hyperthyroid and this was the culprit of most of his symptoms. His rising numbers were overlooked before.

He’s now on daily, long-term meds and some other short-term protocols and this has made a huge difference. He still has kidney decline, but that’s going slowly for now. His thyroid was rapidly shifting and so now we have a much calmer, quieter, comfortable kitty baby.

He’s been following and hanging out with mammaroo a lot, grateful for the relief. Check out this silly kitty who loves to hang all over mom and even in her cozy pouch! LOL! This snuggly pink kangaroo softness was mom’s Christmas gift from dad last year.

He didn’t want to leave it and just stayed in there while I moved around the house taking care of things.

We decided to also take in our female, black and white cat, Sweet Pea, just yesterday for proactive measures. She had some different behaviors recently and being that she’s quieter about things we felt to run her labs too. We’ll get those back shortly so we’ll know what if anything she needs to make life more comfortable for her too.

For now, she’s a bit more freaked out that mom is looking a lot like Cindy-Lou Who of Whoville. LOL!

But overall, we’re just focused right now on making the time they have left here with us as comfortable as possible and listening attentively to their journey.

Anyway, it’s been a very different holiday season. Quiet, sweet and beautiful, with an air of constant shifting energy hovering in all the spaces between things.

This year we had simple touches in the house, but my most favorite was this new little, live lavender Christmas tree that is now my all-time favorite!

I love that I will be able to keep her year-round, use for baking, and enjoy the scent and sweetness through the year to come. I never saw a lavender Christmas tree before and this was just the perfect one for Faery T.

I added simple faery lights, blue star, and three enchanted ornaments of rabbits and bear that embody the magick that surrounds my life.  

Chiming in with that magickal energy, this month kicked off with some Reiki Initiation Attunements I was honored to support, which was a nice energy to be winding the year down with, as a new beginning and relationship with this part of the journey for people that has collective far reach. One in particular beautiful soul connection shared some amazingly synchronous visions they had during the process. They were connected to collective animal spirit symbolism showing up with others I am in contact with that ties into powerful crystal beings. I love watching stuff like that unfold.

Oh! And speaking of symbolism that keeps showing up! Friends of ours texted me these photos of Amanita Muscaria aka Fly Agaric on Thursday while they were seeing them in the real-time moment.

Yep! They were on a hike in the Bay Area and low and behold those enchanting mushrooms were flourishing and they thought of me right away because of my experiences with them this year.

So the portal of manifestation with the hidden realms wanting to be seen more, continues, as this was their first time ever too.

And right at the tail end of October another friend had shown me these photos while she was seeing them where she lives in Washington near the border of Oregon for the first time as well.

The magick has been seeing us through the end of the year and hanging on to remind us that all things are possible, to keep believing, and never lose hope – some nice themes to walk into 2024 with.

And back to the Reiki choo choo train….On Christmas day itself, my brother asked me to support him with up-leveling too. So I spent time with him initiating him through the last two levels and fast-tracking discussions. What a gift that was to share with him. He’s already tapped in with energies big time, so this was a way we could merge our connection more deeply into his fuller power, and me support him, as he’s supported me in other ways and in other timelines of the past. A beautiful Christmas gift that keeps giving!

And that last statement also describes the time we spend each year with my family enjoying an old fashioned Christmas that’s always filled with lots of warmth, giggles, and expanding hearts.

I love making cherished memories as these are the ingredients of my heart’s alchemy I can call upon in more challenging times.

Since there is no separation between time and space, when I sink into presence of these feelings in essence, I call upon the embodiment of them in the now, filling my experience without boundary. This is the fuel for creating empowered states of being in any outer climate. 

Every year I deepen into greater awareness of this time I get to share with my family and those dear to me, as I know our physical experience is limited.

I choose not to lose sight of what’s important and to always find the silver lining to be grateful for. 

And along the way…I love to be a little girl and imagine this life as a faerytale of my own composing from the sparkly beats of my heart.

That might just include stealing a kiss from Santa when possible!!

Of course mom and dad always make a beautiful spread of yummies, making sure no one leaves or goes hungry for several days from the food they send us home with.

My dad outdid himself this year baking the biggest and heaviest vegan mincemeat and apple pie we’ve ever had. Just look at how HUGE it was (11 x 3 inches!) and it was equally as heavy!

And I don’t know what happened in this photo below, but something about the energy of it felt interesting to see later.

I was checking out the new, tall, silver Christmas trees my parents had upstairs and was going to ask Dave to take a photo with them. I was just getting “in between” and he took a photo before I knew it. The odd light and shape to the left and the silver trees, along with an unclear and shifty focus, made for a Christmas angel effect.

Speaking of angels, both Joy and Cosmo have been very present the last several days. Not a surprise from Joy, since she’s a Christmas Eve baby – that was her birthday. But Cosmo has come in even louder, both in waking and dream life. Without going into details, the dream was particularly potent involving his ears, the importance of my listening to something, and deepening telepathy. I’m grateful for such wise messengers.

And, oh, do I feel the presence of angelic energy enveloping everyone and everything these days, even when we think we’re alone or down and out.

There’s a sense of the Earth being wrapped in a clearing and held energy that is overriding anyone’s agendas and supporting us as we get ready to step into a New Year. This year feels to hold some really big potentials for people where things you might have wanted to do or create really start popping or shifting into new forms that are even more exciting than you imagined they could be.

The personal and collective landscapes seem fertile for some really big changes to sprout and I think we’ll discover, if we haven’t already, that there is an extra well of inner goodies available to each of us – things like courage, inner strength, experiencing support from more sources or in more tangible ways, and trusting in that resiliency and creative vitality to keep reimagining new potentials are a few things that pop in mind.

And what an incredible year it is setting up to be soon, as the Year of the Wood Dragon will support so much of this and add qualities of grounded evolution, abundance, creative tenacity, and inspiration for exploring new terrain. It could be a commanding year of leading and innovating, while creating new templates for transformation.

And one of the best ways to do the latter is by becoming one yourself!

I, like some of you, have had dragon energy around for quite some time, but it’s really been ramping up a LOT! If you watched Episode 3 of Talks With Crystal Skulls, then you saw me introduce the dragons, but that’s just a small part of what I’m talking about and there are more dragons in my life too. There’s a connection with the dragons and large avian groups that are coming through as messengers from the other realms and having the type of vision we’re opening up to and needing for the journey ahead.

It’s going to be interesting to see how we navigate this new landscape that is seeded with greatness we’re invited to walk in.

The last few days and first week of the year I’ve been led to do a big literal and energetic sweep of things in my life. I’ve heard similar from some others who are on this cleanse and reset track. It feels like a shedding of old skin layers in the womb of Winter’s darkness, and yet feels like an illumination.

As this is the last post for 2023, I want you to know that as we ready for new terrains, I’m holding each of you and the collective in my heart and sharing love through the heart bridges that connect us.

We can’t do the work for others, but as a collective family, what we do accomplish in our own life has great ripple impact and we can help balance things and open doors by holding our own vibrations as clear as possible, for the highest good of all concerned. There is no separation between us.

To the journey ahead…may we each experience the highest frequencies of love possible.

I’d like to end this with a message I shared in Episode 3 from The Speakers. It was the first time that a couple of individual Speakers and the collective, together, shared a message. If you didn’t watch the video, here is the collective one that I channeled for them:

“We are the voices you’ve forgotten, but the rhythm that has composed new pulses nonetheless. We course through your veins, through the roots beneath your feet, the space in and around you, and the synapses of a cosmology you cannot comprehend as of yet. No matter. Understanding is not a prerequisite for knowing, although you place importance on reason you compartmentalize in a space you think holds the only knowledge. We say all parts, appendages, in betweens, and beyond are of the knowing. Once you realize this simple truth you realize your becoming is an illusion. You have always been and we are part of that being that is you. Although we speak through faces and places as diverse as you – diversity is within the same particles of one nebulous eye blinking drops of stardust from the lens of antiquity. We come because the frequency has risen – open and clear enough for us to travel more direct now. We come simply in rhythm with you, as we were never lost – only uninvited. Access is now made of ease where once we could not flow with you. If it is true, the ready are present, then ready you will see we’ve been to reacquaint you to your greatest unbirthing. You see, where you are requires this birth, but where you have always been requires nothing but pulsing. Until next time, greetings once again for we have missed the knowing stripped away. Yes, we have missed you. Have you missed yourself? Here and there is nothing more than a folding. Take a piece of paper and fold it in half – again and again – and there you have a glimpse of your truth and the way we have journeyed this return in all its glorious being and undoing. So deeply we pulse now in reverence to the ready. May we go beyond and meet, some blink of an eye, where the knowing has sustained.”
