Whimsical Wednesdays ~ The Artist’s Corner: Hand In Hand
Every now and then a wave of inspiration emerges, and it’s all I can do to catch it as it floats by. This morning was one of those days where I saw a photo, as I have in the past, and suddenly a doorway of expression poured through. I’ve shared these little poetic or creative messages on multiple platforms in case they have aligned meaning for others, which would speak to why they suddenly channel through. I shared this short story on Instagram, inspired by the above photo of me as a little girl, and felt guided to post it here, too, for Whimsical Wednesdays expression of “life as art” from a corner of my world. Perhaps it will speak to a part of you and be a message needed at just the right time.
Once upon a time there was a little girl born with the heart of a faery, the soul of the nature realm, and spirit of a whispering star. She knew only of magick being real, animals talking, the stars being family, and that she wanted to express the beauty of creative energy through all that she did. Peace and love were the pervading drives she felt and anytime either wasn’t present it affected her deeply.
She saw and experienced things she never shared with others because she knew they wouldn’t understand. While she stuffed them away, she couldn’t hide that this was who she was, as it burned at her core so strongly.
Christmas was always a favorite time for her because she connected with the enchantment of the season and warmth so deeply. And this has carried over throughout the years, staying alive within the adult she became even though she experienced years of challenge from not knowing how to embrace who she really was.
Every day became Christmas in her pocket she carried around to keep the little girl’s spirit alive and happy.
And then it happened that the little girl whispered a secret to the adult she’d become.
There was no reason they couldn’t both share in the wonder, as there was plenty to go around.
There was no reason to live two lives when it would be so much easier to walk hand in hand.
There was no reason to worry if she’d ever be loved for who she was because she always had been.
The little child peeked out from the adult woman’s pocket with wide eyes sparkling full of starlit wisdom and tender tears. The adult woman leaned in and couldn’t help but surrender to her love and innocence.
“I love you,” the little girl whispered. Her truth was alchemy in itself.
“I love you too,” was the reflection back and the adult woman meant it.
And ever since that day, if you peer with gentle gaze at the woman’s aura before you, you can see the two of them walking hand in hand. đź’« The beginning…
December 2020 Energy Update with Lee Harris
Wow, we’ve reached the last month of 2020 and it’s sure to end with some transformational twists, just as it’s unfolded like a whammy for many. Of course, these will all play out differently for the individual, but there are still collective energies we’re all navigating together.
We have another rare month of two Full Moons, a Lunar Eclipse on the first one we just moved through, and a Total Solar Eclipse on the New Moon mid-month, alongside other interesting energy alignments. So, yeah, there’s a lot of underlying activations igniting that will trigger and launch the energetic scene for 2021.
Lee always does a great job at providing a bigger picture overview of things so you can then better understand the energies when you find yourself moving through them and then see how your piece will dance with it.
I’ll let you find your own highlights that speak to you most, in the video, but one thing I love is his mentioning the building of bridges from old to new and an awakening of Bridge-Builders. Perhaps this is why I’ve felt more lit up, as I mentioned in my Alchemy of 2020 post and as if my blueprint has come on the grid more. Maybe you, too, feel similarly.
Anyway, here’s Lee:
