Last evening the rain stopped right before sunset and a rainbow appeared directly out front of the Magick Bus, shooting up and out from Arches National Park where all the portals are. Only one side of the rainbow appeared from Earth’s crust, while the other end came through an opening of light in the rain cloud laden sky. It was a perfect symbol to end the last few days with and our time in Utah.

This was quite synchronous with its appearance at Arches, since rainbows are symbolic of bridges and arches, or archways.

And since arches, as we know, are portals, gateways, doors, and openings, then rainbows are portals into other worldly or cosmic realms and heightened awareness or transcendent experience. They also indicate choice and initiation, as well as opportunity for transformation, maybe transition, or illumination and embodied harmonic light.

This morning we woke to sunlit, clear skies, and stillness…no more wind or rain in sight.

It feels as though an initiation has been completed here, readying us for the next phase.

And so we will take advantage of this beautiful day to welcome in our last hike of the area, which will take us along a stream to Morning Glory Natural Bridge where a pool lies beneath the bridge and we’ll find waterfalls along the way – another gift Nature has provided, as several waterfalls are present after a rain, which we just had all day yesterday. 🙂

That feels like a perfect closure to our time in Utah and to celebrate today, as not only did the rainbow open a new portal and clear the air for fresh beginnings, promise, hope, and harmony, but it also created a bridge to my dear Nestor.

Today is the 8th anniversary of her transition over the Rainbow Bridge and so I will be in deep communion with her as we journey and be reminded of all that she taught me, but most importantly about pure, boundless love – of All That Is within me that she reflects and of living from the heart as hugely as possible, since today may be my last.
