Reiki Opportunities, Synchronicity & Gratitude – 4 Days Left For this Month’s Special & Reiki Workshops to Raise Your Vibration
This weekend was one of those especially “on point” and magickal messaging kinds of weekends. You know, those times when everything messages you in very poignant and serendipitous ways. This happens a lot, the more we become present and conscious about our lives and see meaning in all that is within and around us.
For me, these experiences this weekend provided great clarity and confirmation with my own life directions.

I was grateful for Nature’s powerful and timely messages too, which included a gorgeous Rattlesnake again (which happened to show up in the middle of the path, not long after I had murmured the words, “snake medicine” before our hike) and at least 6 hawks, along with some Koi, Squirrels, and Slider Turtles that were a joy to see out at a sanctuary explored. Each appearing in perfect timing and providing a piece to the puzzle I was exploring.
These lovely friends, and many other uncanny experiences, came after Friday kicked off in beautifully resonant flow with our Reiki 1 and 2 Accelerated Workshop.
I can’t thank everyone enough that came and infused their gifts into our shared experience. I feel so honored to assist in the journeys people are embracing and truly excited for what is unfolding for each. Teaching and guiding in a mutually co-creative experience where everyone’s gifts bring value and growth, is one of my greatest joys.

This is something I actually share within each workshop I teach, and Friday was no exception. So it was very beautiful to share this feeling with Denise, Shakti, and I know many other teachers who feel the same.
Being a teacher also entails being a student simultaneously. Teachers commit to a path where growing and learning takes place in a more public field of experience by embracing this vulnerable way of sharing. It’s extremely empowering and enriching for everyone who shows up.
And showing up is something more and more people are doing and it’s exciting to see and hear it. We can each also teach by the example of our own lives, every day and in every experience we have. There are so many wonderful opportunities to share your beautiful self with the world and to cultivate more of the gifts and expansion you are wanting to hone in on and bring forth.
And the more we embrace and share these gifts, the more the Universe gifts us with messages and support that chime in when we need them. These come through synchronous encounters and experiences that draw your attention. And the more you acknowledge and share gratitude for the messages received, the more you tap in to your innate abundance.
I feel more and more gratitude each day for all of the wonderful experiences I get to share in, the beautiful souls I am graced in life to meet and work with, and the amazing ways that life explodes in chime with the beats of my heart. It is love manifest in more than words can express.
And the energy is really amping up. At least that is what I feel. The field of experience feels very fertile and potent.

Also, I’ll be teaching a Reiki 3 Master Teacher Workshop on Wednesday, March 5th in Costa Mesa by request of a client so if you’d like to join, you are welcome to as well. I am able to teach 7 days a week, as long as the days align with both person requesting and myself. So sometimes a workshop like this will pop up and anyone wanting to join is more than welcome, whether past or new student. Being this is during the middle of the week, I anticipate it will be a very intimate experience, so if you prefer learning in this type of environment, this may be the perfect day to join, if it happens to align also with your schedule.

Are you feeling, or have felt for a long time, a certain calling and urging from your heart that is becoming increasingly loud and unavoidable? There are many ways our bodies and the experiences we encounter, both as triggers and as beautiful phenomena, are trying to get our attention. Sometimes it is a constant message that comes through others, things you read and see, or people finishing your thoughts and answering your questions unspoken, but deeply felt.
I keep hearing from people that are opening their hearts to the experiences within that want expression. I love this!! And I am excited to know that many are ready to take the plunge into the waters of their dreams and loves. Sometimes the step you take is simply getting you to the next leg of the journey and not the destination itself, but taking whatever step toward the essence of you, will be rewarding and provide you the next clarity needed.
For me, every single moment is full of powerful messaging and symbolism that I have chosen to take to heart. Maybe that makes me seem a bit off to some, but regardless of how you may view my approach to life and messages/signs, I sure have fun, which if that is the only blessing, is quite a blessing I’ll take. Thank you! And I’m definitely not getting stuck, because I keep moving. Energy is ever-flowing, so why do we think we would be any different since ARE energy manifest?

You ARE in fact receiving the support you ask for and the answers, as well as the guiding hand, but you may just not want to embrace the way it is coming through and so you explain it away, until the message no longer is one you can deny. Many want the answer to come in black and white handwriting on the wall, but have a filter on how that writing needs to look.
How is life messaging you? Signs, answers, and synchronous messages don’t have to be profound. They can be as gentle as the kiss of the wind that suddenly rustles through the leaves and across your cheek right as you explore a thought and ponder a question.

2014 Reiki Changes & Updates on Sessions & Workshops
Reiki Sessions:
With the onset of a new year in motion, a lot of changes are taking form for everyone and that includes me. Some of these I’ve already shared and others will continue trickling in. One of the changes involves my offering of Reiki.
No, I’m not taking a Reiki teaching hiatus like I was guided to do for a year a few years ago, but I WILL be phasing out and replacing some of the session offerings.
So teaching remains as stands, although you will find more opportunities, whether individual or weekend workshops, retreats, and other infusions of workshop and experiential offerings to satisfy individual intents and needs. Stay tuned. 😉
But there WILL be a shift with the Reiki sessions, which will mostly affect locals, but also provide a new option for everyone.
I am phasing out my in-person Reiki sessions and will only offer these as part of workshops, retreats, and special events. However, they will be new, enhanced and condensed sessions, and not the regular 1-Hour sessions you have been accustomed to.
Since this may seem kind of spur of the moment, I will allow this change to unfold over the next few months, but come Spring it will be completely phased out. Current clients can still choose this option and any new clients will only have until March 20th if they really desire an in-person session, to take advantage of one.
For any locals that desire an in-person, please be aware that there is an additional travel charge if you want me to come to you. None, if you come to me. 🙂
All of this and more will be updated on my website this week, including pricing, etc.
I mostly do Distant Sessions as it is, so this won’t be such a huge change. I highly recommend Distant Sessions for everyone, as they can be done in a condensed, quicker format, are laser-focused, provide the exact same results, and allow you to be in the comfort of your own home at a time convenient to you.
I have been creating and providing extra goody-packed sessions over time, so you can now “officially” take advantage of these. Due to the ability to transcend time and space with Reiki, and in reflection to things speeding up into more instantaneous experiences, what would take an hour in person, can be executed in 20 minutes or less. I have the ability to create a deepened and enhanced experience with consistent results through special techniques and added gifts I uniquely infuse into Distant Sessions. People share that the experience is as if I’m there with them and that it is even more profound due to the fact that we are separated by miles.
So you will have a new option to choose from which will include these Distant 20-Minute Enhanced Reiki Sessions. Packages will also be available and all of this again, will be up on my website later this week. Or you can simply contact me for details.
And of course Reiki Healing Attunements will continue to be available. These have always been done by distance, unless you’ve joined one of the retreats or events, where I offer these as well, or have been a past student sitting in on a refresher class, where I also offer these as an option while new students are receiving their initiation attunements – a way to keep the group energy connected and everyone receives a boost!
Reiki Workshop & Retreat Updates:
The upcoming Friday, January 24th Reiki 1 and 2 Accelerated Workshop in Costa Mesa is officially half full. There are only 3 of the 6 spots left. Remember that even if you are a past student that wants to join, I will need to know if you are coming for sure, as the spots include you also. 😉 I do have a couple of new students waiting to confirm one way or another, so we may be close to capacity shortly. Please message me if you’ll be coming and if you are interested in receiving a Reiki Healing Attunement during class. The official registration deadline date is Monday, January 20th.
We still have room in the Reiki Renewal Retreat – Spring Equinox in Laguna Beach, California. A couple of people had to shift their confirmations to another retreat date with me, so we have room availability still for anyone either wanting a local weekend getaway or a full on weekend away. Reiki 1 and 2 Accelerated Workshop for Locals January 24th – Costa Mesa, California
Locals to the Orange County and Los Angeles areas, this could be a great opportunity to jump start 2014. I know several of you were disappointed in being unable to attend the Reiki Retreat in March, so this may be your chance to get in your first two levels of Reiki to support all of the new energy for the year.
This will be a regular certification training class held on Friday, January 24th. If you’d like a full immersion into Reiki and all three levels, as well as a full weekend of experiences, please see the above link to the March Equinox Retreat.
If you decide you’d like to further your training after this class on the 24th, you are welcome to join Sunday’s March 23rd Reiki Level 3 Master Teacher workshop, as well as attend that day’s activities of the retreat. You can simply message me to register, or wait and see how you feel and can register after you’ve taken your class on the 24th.

New Spring Dates: April Reiki & Yoga Workshops in New Jersey
Thank you for your patience while I worked out some new dates to reconvene with our Reiki workshop weekend in New Jersey. It took me a little while to gather everything and figure out which dates would be most supportive and work with everyone’s needs who had already registered, as well as be beneficial all around. I trust everything works out for a reason and while it would be great to do it sooner, we can only flow with what is in motion and embrace to our best ability the hidden beauty in it all.
What I do love about the new April dates is that they will kick off the Spring energy of the year in all that freshness and purity of new beginnings, life, vitality, and innocence. Perfect ingredients for our “Opening to Living and Giving from Your Heart” weekend and all of what this new journey is about for everyone who is embracing this next step along their path.
Spring is also the season of new growth, inviting change, renewal, rebirth, continuity of life and refreshing the cycles of life, optimism, lightness, fertile ideas, and creation energy. It’s considered a time for personal evolution, clearing out the old within and without, starting new projects and dream ventures, cultivating courage and faith, strengthening the belief in yourself and your power to achieve your desires, and taking risks, which all lead to new opportunity. Happy Chinese New Year of the Snake! – Shed into Your Inherent Truth
I posted this “Year of the Snake” information a little over a week ago in a blog about this weekend’s Reiki workshops and particularly today’s Reiki Master Teacher workshop I would have been teaching, coinciding with the Chinese New Year. The workshops are being rescheduled due to the storm that cancelled all flights, but synchronously, not being there this weekend created a brief, but auspicious and magickal experience last night for me, alongside some other supportive unfoldings personally.
A very sweet man (I could feel his warm heart through his gentle eyes) walked up to me while we were out eating dinner with a friend at our local vegan restaurant – Native Foods, just a couple of blocks away. He immediately noted seeing my snake tattoo on my hand and wrist, which I have had many people stop me about, so I figured he was going to ask about it. However, he did not discuss the tattoo itself, but said that it was the snake that drew him over to give me something. He then proceeded to share how the Chinese New Year – the Year of the Snake was upon us and that if you’re given an envelope of money at this time, you will have an abundantly prosperous year in many ways. He then sweetly handed me this lovely red and gold envelope with two golden $1 coins.
I was aware of the Chinese New Year of the Snake and its symbolism, but I had not been familiar with this tradition of a red envelope exchange. The red symbolizes luck and traditional red envelopes are often decorated with gold Chinese characters like happiness and wealth.
It was so magickal, but moreso it reminded me of a recent quote I posted from my morning Yogi tea:
“Goodness should become human nature, because it is real in nature.”
I remember pondering this and my feelings about it, as well as explored the implications. I also remembered a conversation I had on my hike yesterday (hiking or walking is where the best conversations and channeling come I have found) that revealed my heart believing that inherently there is good and kind-heartedness in all of us, just sometimes on its journey to discover it.
So it was a beautiful little universal gift to connect in that moment with this man and this belief-in-manifestation…one of those stand-still-in-time moments where I could see and feel the bigger and little picture, all at once. There was something about this man and this small token of generosity and giving that substantiated my beliefs, but also felt to be demonstrating an allegorical symbolism (something discussed on our hike).
Needless to say, it was a loving experience and I feel blessed and grateful, continuing to believe that there IS so much goodness out there and how important it is to keep cultivating it.
Anyway, I wanted to wish everyone a beautiful, happy, healthy, and abundant Chinese New Year of the Snake and pass along the good blessings, fortuitous experiences, love, and joy to each of you.
Here is some symbolism about the energy of this year that I posted in an earlier blog:
Snakes symbolize cycles, rebirth, patience, fertility, creation energy, eternity, connection to the shadow worlds, secret knowledge, pointed focus, assertive power, primoridal life force, search for balance, eternity, cunning, intuition, awareness, healing, intellect, protection, solemnity, rejuvenation, transformation, the hidden or occult, knowledge, male/female duality, and kundalinin energy.
Water snakes, or nagas, embody the feminine aspects of nurturing, benevolent, wise qualities, in addition.
2013 is the Year of the Black Water Snake. Changeability, mobility, and dynamism are the Water characteristics that the Black Snake will embody. The reigning color is black, which is the color of deep waters, space, and abyss and hence will carry the creation, visionary, and imagination energies, as well as the energy of the emotions, unconscious, spiritual focus in life, dedication to quiet introspection, interest in understanding the underlying meanings and mechanics of life, flowing, and pooling your resources together in readiness and strength so you are ready to make a move forward when opportunities present themselves.
This heralds a year of unexpected changes abound and the need for cautious, careful planning, while remaining as flexible and versatile as you can (like the Snake) in order to flow with the changes and strike at opportune and aligned moments. If you are able to ride the transformative waves by embracing the energies present, you can aid a return to balance and harmony, which this collective #6 year is about, rather than get caught in the imbalances and inconstancy that will be brought in with the Snake year – all to help you evolve and learn to “be” the energy of Water, which shifts in chameleon-like ways.
In summary, some other things the energy of the year will bring includes a time for deep transformation and healing, major out-of-the-blue changes, a time for reflection, going within, and withdrawing rather than being involved in tons of social situations, in order to focus on steady, methodical progress, details and serious responsiblity.
This will also be a time for “shedding” the very deep-rooted old in order to release and begin anew, realizing that hidden aspects may surface for your gentle integration. Incidentally, right after I posted this I felt called to go out and pick tangerines. Yes, it’s that time of the year again and our tangerine tree is ready for harvesting. I just got my first bag full (using some in my morning smoothie), but tons more to go (this is just a portion of the underside of the tree – got about 300 last year). I suddenly remembered just a year ago (only 4 days off actually) I posted this blog on celebrating the Chinese New Year tangerine style and their symbolism: Symbols of Luck and Prosperity and it seemed a bit synchronous and auspicious that I felt guided to harvest our bountiful tree right now, on the Chinese New Year, and after receiving my red envelope surprise last evening. As I expressed in my Facebook post earlier today, alongside a matching quote, I am happy to be a child that sees magick in everything. Life IS magickal – at least I believe so, and so it is!
Important Update: New Jersey Reiki & Yoga Workshop Weekend Being Rescheduled

Our weekend of heart-opening Reiki & Yoga workshops is being rescheduled. My flight out has just been cancelled due to the big storm that they are saying is going to hit tomorrow and over the weekend.
Apparently, all flights into Newark and other surrounding areas are getting cancelled and they say it’s supposed to be a huge blizzard with white outs, drifts, tree limbs downed, and power outages. Better everyone is safely at home and not out on the road either and hopefully this will create more beneficial circumstances. I know that the dates hadn’t worked for some of you and that that others were under the weather, so perhaps the shifts are more supportive to the greater good.
I was very much looking forward to this weekend with all of you, but Mother Nature seems to have other plans for us to embrace. I feel there is good reason and more opportune energy will support the next time.
There were a lot of synchronous things among myself, Venus, and a couple of the students attending that pointed to our intuiting a shift was going to happen. And voila! Peace within creates peace without, no matter the circumstances. Everything is always in divine perfection and flows as such for a reason. It’s up to us to embrace it with our hearts.
We are likely looking at March or April dates, but I will keep you posted in the next day or two, once everything gets on the calendar officially.

Empowering the Year of the Snake – Chinese New Year & Reiki Master Teacher Training
When Venus and I set up our upcoming Reiki and Yoga Workshop Weekend in New Jersey, we hadn’t realized that Sunday’s Reiki Master Teacher class would coincide with the Chinese New Year of February 10th – The Year of the Snake. One of my dear friends and soon to be Reiki Master Teacher attending this class brought it to my attention when she discovered the beautiful and empowering symbolism it held for her, along with the alignment of pulling a Snake/Healer card for herself in conjunction for the class meaning. I LOVE synchronicity!
After this discovery I felt that the weekend would be receiving additional transformative empowerment energy, along with extra divine support for all who are attending, given we had followed only our intuitive guidance on dates. It also felt very aligned for my own journey and process as well, especially given my connection with snakes (I do happen to wear 2 sacred snake tattoos – one of which sits entwined on my right hand/wrist used in Reiki sessions and attunements). Afterall, snake symbolism and energy is SO aligned with the effects of the Reiki training and initiation attunements we will be experiencing this day and weekend. Plus, what a powerful way to celebrate the Chinese New Year together in the energy of Reiki and all that it brings, individually and collectively, in opening to.

In light of this, I thought it would be supportive to touch on a little about snake symbolism and the energy of this Year of the Snake soon-to-be, in order to shed a little understanding of what you have to work with while you continue your chosen journey.
Snakes symbolize cycles, rebirth, patience, fertility, creation energy, eternity, connection to the shadow worlds, secret knowledge, pointed focus, assertive power, primoridal life force, search for balance, eternity, cunning, intuition, awareness, healing, intellect, protection, solemnity, rejuvenation, transformation, the hidden or occult, knowledge, male/female duality, and kundalinin energy.
Water snakes, or nagas, embody the feminine aspects of nurturing, benevolent, wise qualities, in addition.
2013 is the Year of the Black Water Snake. Changeability, mobility, and dynamism are the Water characteristics that the Black Snake will embody. The reigning color is black, which is the color of deep waters, space, and abyss and hence will carry the creation, visionary, and imagination energies (this reminded me of my recent post Diving Deep into the Inspirational Abyss 😉 ) as well as the energy of the emotions, unconscious, spiritual focus in life, dedication to quiet introspection, interest in understanding the underlying meanings and mechanics of life, flowing, and pooling your resources together in readiness and strength so you are ready to make a move forward when opportunities present themselves.
This heralds a year of unexpected changes abound and the need for cautious, careful planning, while remaining as flexible and versatile as you can (like the Snake) in order to flow with the changes and strike at opportune and aligned moments. If you are able to ride the transformative waves by embracing the energies present, you can aid a return to balance and harmony, which this collective #6 year is about, rather than get caught in the imbalances and inconstancy that will be brought in with the Snake year – all to help you evolve and learn to “be” the energy of Water, which shifts in chameleon-like ways.
