As we come to the end of yet another year, the season of Winter wraps us in a quiet embrace that encourages us to look within.

Here we will discover the subtle prompts that inspire our next steps and whisper to us of the dreams perhaps long forgotten.

Winter also kicked off Capricorn season, which deepens our Earth connection while we relish in the power of stillness.

A more mindful approach to life is accentuated as the wheel turns from year to year.

If you’ve been oscillating or holding back, committing to something is what Capricorn energy will assist you with during the Winter of your reflection.

What you discover in your heart, desires your willingness to show up for it and deem it of value – perhaps even integral to the essence of who you are that you can no longer keep at bay.

This might be a time for deepening and grounding into a sacred bond of devotion with yourself to stay the course with something important to you.

Slow and steady helps you to build something that withstands time.

Winter is patient.

Be like Winter and show up for the whispers of your heart.

We are also soon to be leaving the Year of the Wood Snake to gallop into the Year of the Fire Horse come February 17th.

I found it quite symbolic that on Christmas day I found a baby snake on our walk after the festive meal with my family.

The snake had been sadly flattened, likely by a bike or something. I immediately thought of how we are ending the Year of the Snake and the ways in which it related personally for me.

It’s also interesting that it resembled the snake wrapped around my wrist and hand.

It’s a great time to reflect on the things you might still want and need to shed.

The more we can face our fears, the more energized and freely we’ll embark on bold new adventures.

I’m personally excited for the energy of this next year, as it speaks to me deeply.

I love the numbers of 2026 reflecting my birthday too. Something about this next year feels particularly pivotal – an invitation to a new adventure of heart and spirit in body.

The Fire Horse feels extremely liberating and resonant for unleashing dreams and passions at the core for me that I’ve recently uncovered in these last few months of 2025.

It’s a reclaiming of authentic parts lighting up and going bigger – not a personality shift. My progressed Moon in Sagittarius (returning to its natal placement) is also stoking the fire for this year’s energies.

And although like any year that can have its challenges, most of that depends on how we ride with the energy or try to rein it in.

How much we’ve done the previous work will support greater ease or highlight disruption.

The Fire Horse brings bold and significant transformational opportunities. This can be a year for breakthroughs and really dynamic energy, innovation, and passion. Horse wisdom shows us how momentum works through alignment instead of force and how this comes through deep tuning in to the knowing in your heart and body, as well as in the elements all around you. The element of Fire intensifies all of that already freedom-loving nature of Horse.

This is a year for courage and taking action, but doing so in rhythm with your heart’s truth. Things will move faster with opportunities unexpectedly popping up that could lead to a bolder, brighter and truer you.

This is emboldened embodiment.

To me, embodiment is fundamental and the most powerful form of effective change.

Those of you who have been with me long likely have seen the shift with this space, as I’ve leaned away from focusing on sharing advice and moved more into sharing from personal experience and inspiration. I feel that anchoring in the vibrational frequencies by way of living it is more energetically powerful than anything I might try to communicate or teach verbally.

This blog has become more of a form of expressing embodiment and doing my best to live in alignment with what I believe. It’s important to me that when someone meets me in person that they come face-to-face with the same person who has expressed themselves here, as this has been my lifelong commitment to daily improving how I walk the talk. It takes practice and effort to align ourselves energetically from the inside out, as there are many layers of complexity to integrate and transmute. It may be a life-long venture, but one I personally deem invaluable.

Living by example is words in action.

I think this makes the difference also when we listen to someone speaking. Sometimes things feel off and you don’t quite know why. It’s about vibrational resonance.

Things can look or sound a particular way, but are they authentically aligned and in motion of being?

No matter how eloquently or intellectually we can communicate something, the question boils down to, are we living it?

Who we are and are being in every moment is, in my opinion, the most powerful gift we bring to this experience of life and to each other alongside sharing love. I find that nothing else that we portray or say will have as profound an effect on the frequency of everything and everyone around us than the essence of our embodiment.

Like a picture, embodiment paints a thousand words.

If you see things you don’t like out there, how are you aligning in here about it?

Making peace with the undercurrents and conflicting energies within, starts to reweave a new tapestry of coherence without.

That all said, my personal intention ongoing through the New Year and beyond is to continue to do my best to embody and hold my personal vibration as an anchor in the world.

We each have our own vibrational frequency to embody and share.

May we all walk with greatest integrity of heart into this new year and beyond.
