That Settles it, “Writing is Hard.” -Yeats
I thought this would be a great post for my Monday Musings from The Writer’s Corner and in alignment with my being back to full time writing focus. Writer Nicholas Andriani poses a great question. What will you do about the writing you feel called to do? Give up or fight it the whole way because it’s hard, challenges you around every corner, and takes patience and commitment, OR embrace the challenge and do your best to enjoy the wonderfully wild ride and the rich experience it has to offer? Personally, I’m choosing to buckle up, as Nicholas puts it, and go the long haul with all of my heart no matter what the end result will be. After a long hiatus from my writing, it’s a big shift and was hard to return to, but once making that commitment and leap, I realize why I felt called to write in the first place.
