Healing from the Inside Out – A Raw Vegan, High-Vibe Experience

As I shared in a post last June, My Vegan Journey and Then Some, I have been vegan since 2005 and high raw since 2008. I believe it’s important to find a balance that works for each individual and sometimes I will vary the percentage of organic, cooked vegan and raw vegan that I intake depending on different variables and what my body is in need of to support where I’m at. For me, I know that what does work always, for who I am at the core, and will not alter, is remaining 100% vegan and 100% drug/mind altering hallucinogens and alcohol free, but I will shift my percentages of raw and cooked foods, as my body and soul’s needs dictate. It is the most supportive choice to my essence, my body’s needs, my connection to Earth’s creatures and the work that I channel in order to be fully present and accessible to all parts of me, consciously. For me it is not a matter of ethics, but a matter of an extension of who I am at the core.

So, when my heart was called to put together a retreat to offer to others, it was a natural given that I would share an extension of what I live to those who either share the same journey in life or are interested, curious or open to experiencing a week of high vibrations all around.

This led me to work with Jenny and her team, which includes the amazing raw vegan chef and Yogi who shares her gentle teaching method to assist in all levels of yoga, Amanda Russcol (also known as Fig Leaf Betty), at the Atlantis Rejuvenation Center – sited on the magical island of Bimini in the Bahamas where you will find beautiful weather, crystal clear turquoise waters and wild playful dolphins surrounded by mystical Atlantean energies.

The week will be spent enjoying high vibration gourmet  raw vegan food, practicing yoga, being inspired by the classes I will be teaching, receiving certification in and practicing Reiki 1 and 2, taking daily boat trips out to swim with the dolphins, and making a new family of soul friend connections that will be sure to last a lifetime and beyond.

Typical Day:

Yoga – 8:00am

Breakfast – 9:15am

Reiki with Tania/Group session – 10.30 – 1.30

Lunch – 1.30-2.30

Dolphin Trip – 3:00pm – Sunset

Dinner – 8:00pm

Everything is optional, although we encourage you to participate in order to get the most from your group experience. You may decide to have a day on the island, shopping at the straw market, boutiques, visiting the beaches or hanging out with a book at the pool.

We aim to immerse you in an environment that supports you, wherever you are on your journey. And part of that immersing starts with a very satisfied tummy of delicious foods that will leave you smiling from the inside out! Here are some examples of the types of yummies you can look forward to. Cooked vegan options available upon request.

  • …all served with a large green leafy salad
