losangeles-marvel And here is the updated flyer of the 50 artists who will be showcased.

The event is less than a month away, but tickets are on sale now.

If you’re in the Los Angeles area, I would love to see you there in support of the creative arts.

Even if you can’t make it, or are not in the area, ticket purchase donations go to supporting the independent artists, like myself, who are sharing their valuable creative expression with the world. So you can still be part of the evening celebrations as an art supporter and help sponsor my event with a supportive ticket purchase donation – an opportunity to be a part of the art, by supporting from your heart.

Your loving donations are much appreciated.

Tickets and ticket donations can be purchased here in advance at $5 discount: I AM RAW

You can either click on the link that says “Buy a Ticket for this Artist” or click on “Marvel April 2013″ and it will display my name as the artist you are supporting.

My RAW Bio and Profile can be found here as well.

raw at the belascoExploring the Belasco and the Cool Synchronicities that Increase My Excitement About Being Part of this Event:

Yesterday was a very full day with a lot of unexpected twists, as I was getting through some things before heading off for a very quick trip to Tucson, AZ this weekend, but no matter how busy, there’s always a chance for some magick. It was also yesterday that we had our scheduled walk-through and space-choosing for the upcoming April 11th event showcase, MARVEL. Appointments got moved around, other things came up needing to get done, and right before I headed to Los Angeles, I received a beautiful birthday gift from an equally beautiful friend of a smokey and druzy quartz pendant in the mail (the celebrations continue) that set the tone for my journey.

raw at the belascoI sent Reiki to my drive, as I always do, and once again made it to LA in record time and actually ended up 1 hour early to the Belasco Theater – the venue for the show, RAW: Los Angeles Presents MARVEL. My intention was to be able to get back earlier, as I had an appointment, and so was the result.

Just as I pulled up I had the feeling to text one of the Production Assistants to see how early they might get there, hoping I wouldn’t have to sit there an hour, and found that she had just pulled in (from Orange County too) at the same early time. I took the street front parking and made my way in.

It is a really fantastic old theater with charm and a very interesting vibe. I was happy to have arrived there early so I could take in the energy on my own. As thebelasco.com shares: “A relic of the early 1900s, the Belasco Theater has lay dormant for more than 20 years and is making its grand debut once again. Located on Hill Street in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, the Belasco is now a multi-purpose event and entertainment complex. Its production potential is unrivaled in Southern California, as the venue houses the largest D&B Audiotechnik Sound System in the region as well as a state-of-the art lighting system. From nightlife to special events to fine dining, the modern reimagining of this historic theatre has something to satisfy all tastes and interests.”

raw at the belascoAfter talking with the very sweet and gracious PA, I got the lay of the land and explored on my own. As she went off to take care of things, I was left in the massive theater by myself, which was really cool to just be with the energy and to be able to feel out where best aligned for me in choosing a space for the show. Having had the time with her before had also provided insights to assist and learned about all the cool aspects and artist set-ups for this eclectic show.

After a bit, a few of the other indie artists started to then show up and they took sign ins in order of our arrivals. Apparently, you get to choose a space in order of when you arrive and so I was able to do so first and when I looked (lol, as i just wrote, when I looked, my word count is at 444! – so LOVE it!) anway…when I looked at the map and the area that I was most interested, which is a cool, separate, old-charm, loungey room at the top, I was immediately drawn to the numbers of the spaces in that area. They were in the 40’s and of course I instantly knew #44 it would be. How more perfect of message. (If you haven’t read my recent blog on how much repeating number 4’s show up for me, this is what I’m referring to: Seeing All 4’s)

raw at the belascoI was able to leave directly after since I’d already completed the goals set forth, while others continued to arrive, and left when it was officially supposed to start and made it back home early and with plenty of time for my scheduled appointment. A perfect ending to the day and I was left with a heart full of gratitude once again.

Needless to say, it was just a way of reiterating how much we are part of the creation process of our experiences. While I could have been stressed with the drive or any number of things, I was not, and found my peace within, as well as my empowerment through sending Reiki. I was also filled with excitement and am very much looking forward to this event and being part of such a great group of people and very talented artists. RAW really is a fabulous organization supporting the creative arts to keep thriving and growing. THANK YOU RAW!
